Dear guest. Why are there so many fox/Chuchi shippers?

Here's my answer.

Despite the fact that they never share screen time, it makes sense that they would've, at the very least, met as he has duties relating to the safety of the senate. Her character is a cunning but wise senator who isn't corrupt. He is a loyal and clever officer who hates crime. they would've likely been friendly because of this.(she's also the only young, unmarried, female senator that we know of.)

The clones lives suck so much. The fandom wants to give them stories full of love to counteract this. Also, most of the fox/chuchi stories, I think, are written by people who want to balance out all the hate that Fox has gotten from the fans for shooting fives.

Ashoka is shipped with everyone at some point. She even has a cannon love interest, Lux. There are also not everyone approves of LGBTQ+ even among fictional characters.

the core point I'm trying to make is that people believe that Fox doesn't deserve the hate he gets and Chuchi is one of the only beautifully viable options for joy in his short life.

Plus, with shippers, shared screen time literally means nothing.

Anakin saunters up to Padme as she was talking to Senator Chuchi. He puts a hand on her shoulder and she smiles up at him. Rex stands a few feet away. Chuchi look at him and he blushes. She giggles to herself, causing him to turn a shade redder.

Fox walks up from behind her, currently on patrol. Anakin looks at Rex, "Rex, how about you hang out with Commander Fox while Senator Amadala and I discuss some important issues."

Rex nods while Anakin and Padme slip off to her room.

"Senator." Fox says, nodding at Chuchi.

She nods back, "Commander." She looks back at Rex, "Is Ahsoka here?"

"She's back at the temple teaching some younglings, Ma'am."

"hmm, that means I probably won't get to see her this time. Could you give her this?" she holds out a holo-disk, "my cousin just had a baby and she wanted to see him."

he takes it and puts it in a pocket, "yes, Ma'am."

she smiles at him before walking away.

Fox leans in real close, causing Rex's blush to fade, "she's mine."

Anakin rushes through the crowd to see Fox and Rex wrestling on the floor. He force pushes them apart. "what's going on!? We could hear you all the way from our... Amadala's room!"

Rex stands up and brushes himself off, "Sorry Sir, it won't happen again."

"why were you fighting?"

"Dominance," Fox states, "I won." he turns on his heel and leaves the hall.

Anakin facepalms while the crowd disperses. He looks at Rex, "What was that about?"

"nothing."

my headcanon is that Rex has a crush on Chuchi too. How could she not have impressed him in her debut episode? She stopped a war in thirty seconds.
