Episode Four: How to Catch Thief Pt. 1

Amy meets her other Maxine in the dreamscape. While there, she learns how Maxine was created and the power sealed within her. Maxine tells Amy that she will train her, but they will need the catalyst from their mother. Unfortunately, the catalyst was on the necklace that went missing after her last mission.

Meanwhile, Nico and his family have returned to San Francisco after wrapping up all their business in New York. While Aleena is doing a world-wide meet and greet tour, Nico and Sonic have been put in charge of handling all the petitions from businesses that want to open stores, trade, and business relations with Mobius. The werehog prince goes through each presentation with an open mind expect for one from Charles Acorn. The werehog knows the shadily background of businessman, but he follows orders to approve whatever petition he presents with the nagging feeling that Acorn can't be trusted. After their meeting, Acorn once again suggests that the young princes set up a date with his daughter, Nico pushes the duty to Mika to set the date. Not to shortly after, Nico and Kenna head out to go buy their personal cars. While out, Nico gets word from DECSEC that another data package is ready for pick up. Since they lacked insurance, the security detail would not let Kenna drive her car. In turn, Nico calls Lewis Sisko, the founder and former Director of GUN, to drive them. Once Nico has the data package, they head to the Golden Gate Grill for lunch. Nico and Kenna learn that Leo was also a member of GUN. Things get a little wild and before anyone can stay 'no' Leo, Lewis, and Nico find themselves in a cookoff. The tasters are unable to pick a clear winner, so the three chefs agree to take part in the next Iron Chef contest.

Nico enjoys a little extra in the park but not before slipping a note to Amy threatening to expose her if she didn't meet him in the park. Nico and Sonic use a charity concert sneak away from Kenna in order to meet up with the pink hedgehog. Sonic smiles at saying that they were joking about the threat; instead, he gives her back the missing necklace with the other Lost Roses charms attached. Amy tries to question him, but Sonic warns that they don't have enough time to talk with Kenna on hot on their track. Sonic hands her the number to his burner phone.

After Sonic and Kenna leave, Amy is revealed to have her necklace back. Maxine gives a rundown about how to use the catalyst and how to summon weapons with it. Amy realizes that she has a long way to go in order to have the strength and skill needed to wield her new weapons. The pink hedgehog goes into panic mode when she remembers that she was on break. She rushes back to the grill not fully paying to where is going and runs into Big then everything goes black.

Sonic and Kenna make it back to the hotel discussing the new information and items they got from Leo. He heads back into his room and works with Cortana to decipher Sora's journal, but the trio hit a wall when they find the journal is a massive jumbo mess of entries. They were on the verge of giving up when they find the key to putting some of the entries in order was put in Talon's letter. While Cortana works on the journal, the two brothers split up, so Sonic can go meet with Amy. At their second meeting, Sonic tells the pink hedgehog to give up her quest for vengeance. Seeing that this push to stop her was going nowhere, Sonic pledges that the Black Rose Ninja will be protected.

The next day, the boys panic after oversleeping and being later for work. Later, Cortana makes a giant discovery and rushes to tell the boys. She bursts into their office telling them that she has found Sora's birth place. Sonic, Nico, Cortana, and Kenna rush off to find Sora's tribe. As they get closer, Sonic's body starts to transform into a new hedgehog, werehog, and anthro wolf form. Once they reach a certain location, Nico and Kenna continue on foot. As they make their way through the forest, Nico warns Kenna that they are not alone. Suddenly, the two are surrounded by wolf warriors. Nico tells the warriors that they come in peace, but the leader Silverfang threatens Nico making Kenna react and be put in danger. Nico tells the pack leader to have his warriors stand dawn and gives Kenna the same order. Two other massive warriors walk onto the scene, and the black wolf orders the others to stand down. He turns to Nico and asks who he is. The werehog tells him that they are Sora's sons. Silverfang's anger boils over and calls Nico a lair while drawing his sword ready to attack. Nico stands ready to fight back staring the silver coated wolf down.

Who are these warriors and how are they connected to Sora?

Nico looks to the black wolf and does quick sniff; then says, "Alpha, allow us to fight. We will prove our strength." The black wolf nodes his approval drawing smiles from both warriors. Nico flexes his claws ready while staring down his opponent. ~So bro, any idea what this guy can do?~

Sonic hovers next Nico looking at Silverfang. The blue hedgehog shakes his head, ~I don't have clue, but we need to figure out what this new form can do. I don't feel comfortable going into battle without knowing.~

~Remember what mom told us, 'If you are not fully ready for a fight, then learn on the fly.' We draw the battle out testing the limits and powers. In the meantime, divide and conquer, ~ Nico states. Sonic hoovers over to Silverfang while Nico continues to size up his opponent.

The other warriors, Kenna, and the two leaders give the two fighters a thirty feet diameter circle. They watch with building anticipation as Nico and Silverfang walk around the ring keeping a seven-foot distance from each other. All the while, they keep their eyes trained on their opponent with an occasional growl at each other. Silverfang bares his fangs then barks at Nico hoping scare to the werehog. Instead, Nico counters by doing the same plus doing couple of claw swipes and punches. Right away, Nico notices that he not able stretch arms or expands his fist. Knowing this, the werehog rethinks his strategy. Silverfang sees an opening and launches himself straight at Nico. In one swift move, the wolf warrior draws his sword and swings at his opponent.

~For someone of his size he's pretty quick, but that's not going to be enough to beat us.~ Nico starts to backpedal and notices that his lighter along with greater leg strength. He is able dodge and evade every swing from Silverfang. The two warriors dance their way around the thirty foot diameter circle. ~Ah, this is getting annoying! I can't see any openings in his defenses! ~

Sonic flies right behind Silverfang studying his every move. With every slash, swing of his blade, and dodge, the hedgehog's eyes follow the challenger absorbing every bit to information shown by the warrior's moves. After couple more minutes, Sonic hovers back over to Nico, ~Listen up bro, from the looks of his movement, he first attack is always a fake; then his next attack is full on. Let me take over, I can get rid of his sword. After that, you take him down in hand to hand. ~ Nico nodes while evading another head on attack. Sonic takes control of their new form just as they are dodging another attack; he slides backwards on the ground digging his claws in to slow his sliding. Once stopped, Sonic starts to stand back up when Silverfang comes screaming down with a powerful sword slash. Sonic dodges but says to himself, ~No good! This form is not able to move as fast as my normal form. On top of that, I can't summon my swords! Shit think Sonic! Think! ~ He dodges another attack with a smirk on his face hiding the worry of what to do next.

To their surprise Silverfang growls then says in annoyed voice, "AH! STOP RUNNING YOU COWARD! STAND AND FIGHT ME!"

"HA! MAYBE IF YOU WERE A LITTLE FASTER THEN I WOULD START FIGHTING!" Sonic fires back while evading another attack. Suddenly, an idea pops into his head. "KENNA!" Sonic calls out.

Silverfang does wild slashes while staying, "Your puny bitch can't help you now!"

"First off, don't call her puny! Second, who's asking for help?! KENNA TOSS ME YOUR SWORD!" Sonic orders. Kenna quickly draws her sword then throws it into the air. Silverfang jumps up to try and intercept the blade, but Sonic out maneuvers him by jumping up then uses Silverfang's back as a spring board. Sonic easily grabs the sword while his opponent hits ground. The hedgehog-wolf hybrid does a couple practice swings getting a feel for his temporary weapon. Once he finished, Sonic looks a Silverfang covered in dirt and some mud. He laughs before saying, "Mud is good look for you."

The wolf warrior snarls at Sonic's comment then launches himself off the ground at right him. He does a wide swing, but his attack is countered. With little effort, Sonic pushes the sword away then launches his attack. The music of metal clashing together rings out from each time the two swords come in contact. Sonic and Silverfang perform a wonderful sword dance around the battleground. The dance lasts for another ten minutes keeping the onlookers on the edge of their seats with each encounter, parry, and thrust. Their dance comes to a brief stop when they go into a sword lock. They stand face to face with each other grunting while they struggle to overpower the other. "Don't take this the wrong way, but you could use a breath mint. On the flip side, your sword skills are pretty good a little sloppy here and there but still pretty good."

Silverfang counters with, "HA! You know nothing, no one has been able to beat me when it comes to fighting with swords."

Sonic shakes his head with small giggle, "Then you needed to meet more people. Here let me show you why." Sonic falls back making Silverfang lose his balance. Without warning, Sonic's knee come racing up hitting his opponent's sword arm. The impact causes his hand to lose grip on his sword while knocking the blade into the air. Silverfang backs away rubbing his sore arm; at the same time, Sonic jumps up and grabs Silverfang's sword. He gives is a couple test swings then says, "Wow. You know you can tell a lot about a sword wielder based on their sword."

Silverfang thinks to himself while rubbing his forearm and listening to Sonic, ~Fuck that attack stings! I didn't suspect he is that strong. I need to be on my guard! ~ He then comments to Sonic's statement, "Oh really, so what can you tell about me from my sword?"

"First off, the sword is evenly balanced, but a little heavier than your normal one-handed long sword. This leads to my second observation, based on its weight I can tell that you're not a duel wielder. Which brings up the odd question of why? Judging by your fighting style you're not a sword and shield fighter, but you don't use a bastard or great sword thereby giving up the use of two-handed weapons." Sonic starts walking around prompting Silverfang to do the same to keep equal distant while he works the last bits of soreness out of his arm. "Kenna, catch!" Sonic calls out while throwing her sword back to her. The she-wolf captain swiftly jumps up and grabs the blade out of midair. He tosses the sword into his right hand and gives another couple more swings. "Well, that's enough sword reading," Sonic states throwing the sword into a tree behind him.

Nico takes over then says, "Now, let's continue our fun using our claws and fangs." He gets into a fighting stance with both of his arms up readying to deflect and launch attacks. The two warriors rush toward each other. The second they are within range of each other; Silverfang launches a wide haymaker in a slashing motion. Nico backs away, but energy from the force of the slash catches him in the arm. Small drops of blood ooze out and absorbs into his fur. "Look at that, you were able to land a hit. Payback time!" Nico exclaims charging in. Silverfang is thrown off guard seeing Nico move with greater speed than before. The second he is within striking distant; Nico slides in then with all his strength, the transformed werehog, springs up with an upper cut to his opponent's chin. Silverfang is sent upward then lands on his back about five feet away from Nico. He closely watches his opponent then says, "Who do you think you're fooling? I have been in enough hand to hand fights to know when I land solid hit."

Silverfang starts to giggle then goes into a full laugher. He quickly jumps up then rubs his chin, "I can say the same with you; I can tell when someone pulls their punches. Why don't we stop with the kiddie stuff and get down to some real fighting?!"

"I was hoping you would say that. Game on!" Nico exclaims dashing full speed at Silverfang. At the same time, the silver wolf warrior charges straight towards the blue wolf warrior. The two meet at the center of the ring and start a fierce hand to hand slug fest. The speed and contact of their fists create a series of back to back shockwaves.

Kenna is approached by the giant black wolf, but she keeps her eyes trained on the fight. "You are called Kenna, right?"

Without turning her head, "Yes, are you here to threaten or say something demeaning about me?"

The wolf leader turns back to watch the fight as Nico grabs an incoming attack; then he jumps up into air with Silverfang in tow. The werehog prince flips over throwing his opponent to the ground. Silverfang howls in angry, but it is soon followed up sounds of pain as Nico drives him farer into the ground with a barrage of punches at terrifying speed. Some of the other spectators gasp at the relentless onslaught while the alpha says, "Neither one of those things. I simply want to know if they have ever taken that form before, and how you do you know that this Nico in control?"

The snow-white wolf eyes the giant for a split second then looks back at fight. She remains silent watching as Nico ends his assault by jumping away from Silverfang. The silver coated wolf takes a couple of deep breaths then jumps out of the shallow hole made by his body. He brushes off his chest with a smirk then charges at Nico starting a whole new fist fight. "The answer to your first questions is no. Nico has gotten relativity close but no like this. As for telling who is in control, Sonic is more versed in sword wielding and speed attack using energy blasts and kicking. Nico is a straight fighter using hand to hand combat and power attacks using strength and overwhelming power."

"I see," the black wolf comments watching as Silverfang and Nico separate from each other again. The two wolves growl and bark at each other while on all four. Their claws dig into the dirt as they charge towards each other. The moment they are close enough; the two warriors jumps in the air their claws at the ready and bearing their fangs. The two crash into each other punching, biting, and clawing each other. Every head on hit unleashes strong shockwaves in all directions; the pressure from their last punch sends them flying backwards. The black wolf sees them both breathing heavy with blood dripping from their up cuts and open wounds. The warriors give out notable laughter with pleased smiles on their faces. "Well, I have seen enough. They are starting to laugh."

Kenna starts to hear the two combatants laughing get louder by the second. "What the matter with them? Why are they laughing?"

"This tells me everything I need to know; they are Skyfang's sons," the black wolf comments.

Kenna looks at the warrior alpha then asks, "Sky who…? What are you talking about?! And you didn't answer my question!"

The ebony warrior looks at the snow-white captain with an annoyed glare for a second then back at the two fight while still laughing. "It's their warrior beast blood. The harder the fight the more they enjoy it especially when they met a strong opponent. Surprising you're not feeling the same being that you have dragon's blood coursing through your veins, but that is another topic for later. I have seen more than enough," he states just as Nico and Silverfang charge at each other again. In a booming voice the black wolf calls out, "ENOUGH!" Both warriors come to a sliding halt; they look at the alpha wolf as he continues with, "Son, this battle should provide more than enough evidence that they are Skyfang's sons." Silverfang looks at the equally tired prince and gives a quick huff then walks away.

Nico walks over to the alpha and Kenna, "That was fun."

Kenna counters with, "Are you serious, right now?!"

"Yeah, and we were just getting to the good part of the fight. Well, no crying over spilled milk," Nico states.

"Come," the alpha wolf orders. "We will be able to treat you battle damage."

He looks over his body seeing the torn clothes, bleeding wounds, and his bruised hands. "Thanks, but all we'll need is some food and a place to rest." Nico quickly notices that Silverfang and warriors that came with him have all disappeared. As they continue their trek through the blight moonlight filled forest, Nico looks at the black wolf and asks, "How much longer do we have to walk?"

The equally large brown wolf looks at Nico then replies, "Is there a particular reason why?"

Nico smirks, "Unless, you are cool with me pissing in the forest."

The brown wolf gives an awkward expression, but the black wolf busts out laughing drawing everyone's attention. "Hehe! You are definitely Skyfang's son especially when it comes to his bathroom needs. Don't worry, we'll be there in just a few minutes. In fact, we have just arrived."

The four of them enter the village, Nico, Sonic, and Kenna are amazed to see a modernized village with several three-story office buildings, different specialized shops, and large tents with everything in prefect balance with nature. At the center of the village, seven large totem poles are setup in a circle each with topped with a wolf's head facing outward. "Wow, something about this place looks familiar."

"What do you mean Nico?" Kenna questions, but she does another look around then adds, "You know now that I look at it again, this shape of the buildings and the flow of land does remind of something… wait I got it The Mobian Hanging Garden Palace!"

"Yeah, I can see it now!"

"Well of course," the black wolf comments, "your grandfather helped in the rebuilding village, so you can expect some traits from Mobius would be worked into the rebuild, but we can discuss those details later on." He comes to stop in front of a guest house. "I have to ask; will you be comfortable staying in separate rooms?"

"I think…"

Nico cuts Kenna off by interjecting, "That will be fine."

"Nico, you are sure about that?" Kenna quickly questions.

The werehog prince gives a reinsured smile, "Kenna, we're around family here. There's no need to worry about our safety. Oh that reminds me, we never asked you your name."

He black wolf smiles, "My name is Shadowfang Alpha of the Moon Pack. I am also Skyfang's, aka Sora, older brother."

Nico, Sonic, and Kenna are surprised by the statement, but the royal guard captain quickly adds, "Hold on, if you're King Sora's brother, that makes you, Nico and the rest of the royal children's uncle."

The brown wolf also adds, "Shadowfang makes it sound like he is the only brother." The look at the brown wolf as he continues with, "We'll explain everything in the morning. For now, rest and recover."

Nico nods then walks into the guest house. The two wolf leaders start to head out, but Kenna stops them. They give her a questionable expression before she says, "I get that you plan to tell us everything in the morning, but I need know something very important. The warrior Silverfang he disappeared after the battle; I want your promise that he won't attack Nico or Sonic. Even though he is your son, my duty and responsibility as Captain of the Royal Guards along with being their guardian; I am duty bound to protect them without hesitation or mercy towards the enemy. Silverfang's party did get the drop on us, but Nico ordered me to stand down. I will do no such thing again if he comes after them. Family or no family, I will use all my power to protect them. Please pass that on to your son. With that, goodnight gentlemen." She walks into the guest house leaving the two wolf brothers staring at her door.

"Well this is an interesting twist, Skyfang warned us that one day that his kids would start hunting for him. I always taught it would my namesake, Shadow, would be the first one to find us. Instead we are visited by Sonic and Nico, who, for some odd reason, look like members of the tribe.

The lights of downtown sparkle bright from below in a sea of dotted lights. From her forty-fifth hotel room a nude Sally Acorn walks over the window her hair ruffled and sweaty. Fang smirks hearing her order and backs off. "So why are you up and what's with the laughing?"

Sally watches him goes to the bar and pours two glasses of fine expensive wine. He walks back over to and gives her a glass before sitting down in a chair near the window. She turns back to look outside while sipping her wine then says, "I was just reflecting on a thought I had." Fang gives her a curious expression as she continues with, "I have been on ARK numerous of times and looked down at the planet more times than I can recount. However, from here when I look down at the city; I don't just see the surface of the planet, but all the little people that move about. Each one of them carrying out their small meaningless tasks. I can't help to only laugh."

The purple rat finishes his wine glass then says, "And what brought on this line of thinking?"

She smiles before drinking then replies, "You know about my plan to marry Sonic and Nico, right?"

"Yeah, but how can you say that with my cum on your breasts and in your pussy. Besides, what makes you think that those two can even measure up to this," Fang replies pointing to his manhood.

A minute passes and in a fit of rage she slams her phone on the nearby table. "I can't believe that smug blue skin bastard! How dare he betray me like this!"

"I take it that you didn't get good news from your inside source at the magazine."

"After I give him a thousand-dollar payoff and let him eat at my restaurant for free. All he needed to do was gives my restaurant the proper placing."

"I take it you get the placing you wanted."

"Nowhere even close," she growls out.

Fang stands up makes his way over Sally then he leans his back against the glass before he asks, "What are you going to do to the people who won first place?"

"I am going make those fuckers pay for crossing me, and Whis Angel will know the punishment for crossing me." Sally picks her cell back up then says, "Daddy, you heard the report from Nikka? Yeah, we have work to do, and we need to make these fools understand error of their ways. You want to know what I would do? Simple make them suffer for dishonoring the Acorn name, and we can do that by taking his prize possession. That is exactly what was thinking. I'll meet you in the morning to over the details. We should take our time and cause the greatest amount of pain to every single one of them." She hangs up with an evil smile on her face.

Fang watches her closely then says, "I know that look and sweet twinkle in your eyes. Someone is about to get shafted for fucking with you." He leans off the glass then walks behind Sally he pushes her against the window while spreading her legs. "I wanted let you know that breakfast is being service in the gathering den," she states.

"Thank you, I'll be there soon," he replies before closing the door. "Hey bro time to wake up."

Nico appears in floating in air, ~Sup bro, how's it hanging? ~

"Same as usual," Sonic replies while getting dressed. "Nico, be ready for any funny business." Nico nods as Sonic transforms wolf tribe form. Once he stands outside, Kenna exits her guest room. "Morning Kenna, did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, but I would have felt better if I shared a room closer to yours," Kenna replies. She looks their form and she quickly adds, "By the way with you in that new form, which one of you is control?"

"Its me Sonic. Unless we're fighting; then you can tell by our fighting style." Sonic replies as they walk to the meeting room. Sonic continues with, "Normally, you would just need to look at my choker limiter to know, but in this form just look." Sonic points to his choker drawing the snow-white wolf's sight.

Kenna is surprised to see that their limiter is two half gold and half black and the limiting charm is a blue wolf's head who red eyes and an up turned crescent moon on the forehead of the charm. "Wow, that is complete new."

"Yup. Add to that, Nico and I are still getting use to this new body," Sonic states. The two enter the hall seeing everyone eating and talking with each other. Kenna points to where the food is being served. They head to the line, but they run into a familiar face. "Good morning Silverfang," Sonic greets.

The silver wolf growls while glancing back Sonic and Kenna. "Good to see you to," Kenna comments.

Before they can grab their plate, Shadowfang calls over to them then motions for them to come over. Sonic and Kenna head over and greeted by the black and brown wolf with an older green fur female wolf. Sonic closely eyes the woman noting how similar Manic and the elder woman's fur look alike. "Sleep well?"

"Yup," Sonic replies. "Pardon for me asking, but you mind explain a few things?"

The elder wolf woman steps forward saying, "Yes, we would more than happy to do that Sonic, but you must prove yourself worthily by becoming a member of the pack along with you as well Kenna."

"Sound fun to me," Sonic replies glancing over to Silverfang with you smirk. "So who do we beat down to prove our strength to the pack?"

Silverfang quickly picks up the hint that Sonic is throwing at him as he starts to get up, but the elder quickly jumps in with, "No Sonic! I don't mean you have fight anyone. Instead, you must present a gift to the pack. I know that you are quite a singer just like your parents, so sing a song that tells about you."

Sonic looks at Kenna than back at the elder. "Ok I'm down to throw a jam session, but will you all be ok if we do it in our normal form? The reason being, no disrespect, but our medallion would not be able to activate in this form."

"Of course," Shadowfang answers. "We know that you were born in your hedgehog werehog form, so no need to be fearful of who you are."

"Cool," Sonic states while turning back into his hedgehog form. Shadowfang points to where they can perform at. Sonic and Kenna make their way to the center of the circular room. "You have your medallion?"

"Yeah, but what do you plan on singing?" Kenna questions as they reach the center platform.

The cobalt hedgehog taps his chin thinking for second then snaps his fingers, "We'll use the third opening song from Dragon Ball Super."

Kenna summons her guitar, "But, you don't know all words to that song."

Sonic summons his guitar with smirk looking out at the crowd of wolves and humans sitting together watching the two performers, "Don't worry we'll make it up as we go. Just follow our lead and have fun." Sonic starts strumming his guitar filling the hall with music while Kenna plays backup bass. As he continues to play, Sonic's quills and fur starts to turn gold. His aura spreads as Nico appears back to back with his brother in his super form. Kenna starts with:

The lightening powered wolf displays another one her new powers by creating a lightening clone while singing.

She squares off with her clone. She draws her swords with a smile. The clone mirrors her moves by drawing lightening swords. They dash at each other clashing in middle at stage that breaks out into a super-fast sword fight. Each time the swords clash together lightening sparks flashes out that turns into beautiful colors.

The children in the audience cheer watching the sword fight. Kenna looks like she is losing the fight and is forced to backflip to get away from the clone's attack. The Captain of the Royal Guard takes off at the clone getting into another powerful sword fight.

When song comes to an end Sonic, Nico, and Kenna are greeted with cheers and applauds from everyone in the meeting hall. They un-summon their instruments then walk over Shadowfang and the others while giving high-fives to their fans. Sonic and Nico come face to face with the tribal leader still in their super forms with smiles on their faces and crimson red eyes. After looking at them for a minute, the black wolf looks at the green elder woman. The brothers and Kenna look at her as well, and she says full of pride and happiness, "What a wonderful gift! You three are very powerful but there is also kindness behind each word you three sang. Thank you so much for this wonderful gift. You have inherited so much from you fathers. We have a great deal to discuss please come with me."

Before they head out, Shadowfang looks around for his son, but he is no where to be found. The six of them head into private room on second floor of the meeting hall. The black wolf is the first to say looking at Nico, "You and you father look exactly alike in your full werehog form, but the golden fur, quill position, and crimson red eyes are some unique features about you."

The brown wolf says, "When we saw you in fighting in New York in that form, we never guess that we see it up close and personal. Skyfang and Spellfang produced seven powerful pups."

Sonic takes a seat and asks, "Who is Spellfang? Also, who is my dad related to the pack? Plus…"

The elder jumps in with, "I promise that we will answer as many questions as you want, but we need to wait for one more person to show up."

"Who are we waiting for?" Nico questions.

"My daughter," the elder states. Just as she finishes, a fire red fur wolf woman walks into the room. "Right on time Flameclaw."

"Sorry mom, I had to take care of your grandpups. You know those little rascals were so hype up from those three singing; they wanted to get guitar lessons," Flameclaw explains while sitting next to the brown wolf. "Did I miss anything?"

"Nah sis, we were waiting for you, and now that we are all here," Shadowfang turns to the trio of guests, "Sonic, Nico, Kenna, we will answer your questions now." The golden hedgehog looks at Nico and Kenna getting their approval and starts to ask, but is interrupted by the black wolf asking, "Just one quick question for you, Sonic and Nico, how long can you maintain your super form?"

Sonic answers, "Since Nico and I aren't doing anything that would drain our stamina and energy, we can stay like this for about twenty minutes. Now, we have some important questions for you, but we don't want to bore the readers of the show with a crazy amount of questions and answers."

Kenna and the pack members look around; then Kenna gives Sonic a crazy look, "Sonic what are your talking about? Who are these readers?"

"Opps! My bad don't worry about that! Ha ha!" the hedgehog states with a smile while Nico rolls his eyes at his brother's stupidly. Sonic coughs to clear this throat and continues with, "We were able to come up with three questions to answer everything." The elder wolf nods in agreement to Sonic's statement. "Ok, first question, who are you people and what ties do you have to our dad?"

The green wolf says with a smirk, "We are the Moon Pack Tribe. As for ties to Skyfang or as you know him Sora, we all have extreme ties with him. After all, I am the one who brought them in to the world." Sonic and Nico look at each other then the woman mouthing some words. The green elder says out loud what they are trying to say, "You got it right boys, Skyfang is my son, and that makes me your grandmother."

As if someone plugged into Sonic and Nico's brain and hit the overdrive button, the two of them shout, "WHAAAAAAT!" The golden warriors blast off at crazy speeds bouncing all over the room while asking blinding number of questions.

The four tribe members try their best to answer the questions, but they are unable to keep up with Sonic and Nico. On top of that, the four wolves start to get dizzy trying to the follow what looks to be a growing multiple of Sonic and Nico afterimages. It comes to the point that their new family members are being extremely overwhelm. They look at snow-white wolf sitting calmly watching the brothers' overload. They make a silent plead for her to help with the situation. Kenna nodes then stands up with a smirk on her face. She holds out her hand before she shouts, "LIGHTNING STRIKE!" Multiple bolts of lightning strike down hitting each afterimage, as a result, Sonic and Nico scream from the attack and crash into the wall.

They hit the floor just they are knocked out of their super form. Nico disappears and Sonic quickly sits up with smoke rising from his body. He looks at Kenna, "Thanks, we needed that!"

Kenna smiles pointing her index finger up as electricity discharges from it, "No problem, if you like I can give you another serving."

"No thank you!" Sonic stands up brushing himself off and shaking his quills free of smoke. He walks back over to the couch and sits back down, "Sorry about that, Nico and I were no expecting that. Please go on."

"HA ha! Oh, Sonic Nico, you two are just like Skyfang. Well, I should start with formally introducing you to us. My name is Emeraldfang, and I so happy to meet you my sweet grandsons," the green elder female wolf states. "These are your uncles and aunt. You are ready know Shadowfang the Alpha and current Chief of the Moon Pack. Next, the woman with red fur is my daughter Flameclaw. My third child with the brown fur is Earthfang leader for the warrior's training camp. Lastly, you know my last son Skyfang." Emeraldfang pauses hearing an odd sound coming from the blue hedgehog. The four wolves see Sonic's head facing the floor. "Sonic, what's the matter?"

The cobalt prince lifts his head with tears streaming down his face. In sad voice he asks, "This isn't one of our questions, but may we hug you grandma?" Emeraldfang only smiles as she stands up with her arms wide open. Sonic gets up and hugs the eight-foot-tall well tone grandmother. Sonic tightly hugs her tightly while crying, "Thank you. Thank you." She looks down at the teenager as he continues to cry into colorful dress. "Grandma, I don't know if mom or dad ever told you this, but after mom had to abandon us, I was adopted by the family mom left me with. They quickly realized after Robotnik conquered Mobius that I was queen's son. I guess you could call it a stroke of foal luck when my adopted mom took me to their shop at the market one day, and a noble that was loyal to Robotnik walked in. I was only two years old, but he recognized my medallion. He ordered mom to turn custody of me to him at once. The noble threatened, yelled, and even hit her with his cane. After I saw her hit the ground, I started crying calling out for her while he started coming closer to me. Just as he was pulling me out of my play pen, everything went black. I don't know long was out, but the next thing I see was my adopted dad picking me up. Mom was up rubbing her forehead looking down at the ground. Dad tried to shield my eyes, yet I saw the nobleman who was trying to take me away dead on the floor blood pooling out from a hole in his chest. Even to this day, Nico and I still don't know what happened. As a result, we were forced to move to the country side to evade the police and SWAT Bots looking for the murderer of the nobleman. In our cabin no our home in the woods, we lived happily, but one-night dad told me to run to Uncle Chuck. I did, yet I went back just in time to watch our home be destroyed along with my parents *sniff*. I thought things went back to normal while living with Uncle Chuck, but just like before, I loss him too. Sonia, Manic, Nico, and I lost family members and close friends time and time again. Now, we finally get the chance to rebuild our family bit by bit." Sonic finally looks up at her with a happy tear-filled face, "We have our mom back, we're searching for our dad, and now we have a grandmother." She pets him on the head making his smile bigger. After couple more minutes, Sonic steps back wiping his eyes then says, "Sorry, I guess it's not very warrior-like to cry like that in front of the Alpha."

Emeraldfang looks at her children then back at Sonic with a smile, "One should never be afraid to shed tears. In truth, a warrior that sheds tears show that they possess a noble heart."

"Thanks grandma. Ok back to our questions," Sonic states.

Before Sonic can continue, Earthfang jumps in with an inquiry of his own, "Hold up! What happened to your brother? Wouldn't Nico like to know what we are talking about as well?"

Flameclaw quickly adds, "Yeah, I mean how could an eight-foot tall werehog disappear so easily?"

"Don't worry, Nico is still here. He is sitting right next to Sonic," Emeraldfang answers.

"WHAT?!" the three siblings voice in unison.

Shadowfang looks at his mother and asks, "Mom are you seeing things?"

"No, I can see Nico sitting right there," Emeraldfang states pointing at the couch. "Although, he is transparent for some reason."

Flameclaw looks at the sofa then back at her mother, "Mom, there is no one sitting there. Nico has to be hiding somewhere."

Kenna states, "No, Nico is not hiding, Elder Emeraldfang is right that Nico is possibly sitting next to Sonic."

"Don't feel bad fam. Our brothers and sisters can't see when one of us is spirit form. At first, mom and Oracle were the only ones able to see us in spirit form, and according to Oracle, dad should be able as well. Being that you are our grandmother, it goes without saying that you should be able to do the same," Sonic explains.

Nico nodes at his brother and does a quick switch. Everyone sees Sonic's fur darken, tail grow, and tune of voice get deeper, "In our normal form, Sonic and I have to which control of our body. I hope that explains enough about our body switch." They've nod yes and the werehog continues with, "What is the Moon Pack Tribe?"

Shadowfang answers this time, "The Moon Pack is made up of seven clans. When you first arrived did you notice seven totem poles at the center of the village?" Nico and Kenna think back to last night and remember seeing the lite up poles. They nod yes, and Shadowfang continues with, "Good. Each totem represents the seven family clans that established the village. The seven clans are: Fang, Claw, Arrow, Feather, Mane, Star, and Crystal. As you saw in the meeting room, we are a tribe of wolves and humans living together." Shadowfang pauses for a moment to make sure that Kenna and Nico are following, and he goes on with, "As mom said, I am currently the Alpha of the pack, and she serves as a member of the Tribal Elders…"

Nico starts snickers making the black wolf chief stop his explanation and question why he is laughing. The werehog replies, "We also have a Council of Elders."

Earthfang chimes in with, "Why would you laugh about that?"

Kenna answers, "They may be called Elders, but they are not all wisest advisors."

"Ha! Not the wisest, please some of those elders are nothing more than power hungry assholes," Nico boldly

"NICO!" Emeraldfang exclaims with angry expression.

The werehog's quills stand up in shock hearing the commanding tone in her voice. "Sorry grandma. It's just Sonic and I don't have many good interactions with them."

"You're talking about the forced sealing," Emeraldfang states.

"You know about that?" Kenna questions with shock.

Flameclaw replies with, "Of course, the moment after you were sealed, little brother shouted, 'THOSE FUCKERS ARE GOING TO PAY FOR TREATING MY SONS LIKE THIS! THEY ARE GOING TO KNOW THE WRATH FOR CROSSING SORA SKYFANG WEREHOG SPEED HEDGEHOG!'"

"Wow with all those names, I'm surprise dad wasn't suffering from an identity crisis," Nico comments. "Yet Sonic and I did get dad's revenge against the elders thanks to us. However, that does lead us to our final and most important question, what can you tell us about Kenna's and our dad?"

Emeraldfang gives big smiles then says, "This answer is going to take some time."

Two weeks later, Sonia and Kana are at the location spa house. The hedgehog and dragon are laying face down on a massage table while the worker applies the needed pressure to loosen their knotted muscles. The person working on Kana uses a large dotted wheel between his wings making him grunt and moan feeling the muscles being forced to relax. "Ah," Sonia voices as the massage therapist works on her legs and calf muscles. "This is what I'm talking about. Doesn't this feel great Kana?"

"AH! OH! EH! If you say so. AH! DAMN IT! THAT STRINGS!" Kana replies.

"By the way, have you heard anything about Kenna, Sonic, or Nico whereabouts? Its been over two weeks since they took off for who-knows-where without a word to anyone. Plus, I have asked Cortana where they are, and all she keeps telling is, 'I can't tell you at the moment.'"

"MUH! Maybe they eloped… AH! OH! And they are just enjoying their honeymoon… OUCH! WHAT THE FUCK?! ARE YOU USING A POGO STICK TO JUMP ON MY BACK?! DAMN!" the red dragon cries out.

Sonia can feel the therapist working on her quads, "Yeah right! Those three-eloping ha! I put money on Kell and Midna eloping before those three. This is something else altogether."

A minute later, the receptionist comes to their room holding a cordless phone, "Princess Sonia, I have an urgent call for you."

Sonia wraps the towel around the front of her while sitting up. She thanks the man after taking the phone. "Hello."

Cortana says, "Sonia, are you in danger? I called your cell and got nothing. I had to use your car GPS to find you."

"Sorry about that, I had it turned off. Is everything ok?"

"Somewhat, you and Kana need to the comeback to the hotel ASAP!"

"Has Sonic and Kenna come back?" the female hedgehog questions.

Cortana responses with, "No, but I'll explain everything once you get here."

"Ok, we're heading back." Sonia hangs up the phone then looks at Kana's table and tries not to laugh seeing three therapists walking on his back while using two large massage rollers. She jumps off the table and says, "Kana get dressed; we need to head back."

The red dragon grunts out in pain, "Right behind you."

On the other side of town, Manic and Kell are walking around a unique shop called Halliwell Wicca Supplies with unique items in the jars, boxes, and packages. The green magic wielder closely looks at case of assorted gemstones and powders. "Wow this so awesome, I wouldn't have guess Earth would have shops like these; although, they call it Wiccan and Occult Arts."

Kell looks at a jar of multicolored mushrooms then at a box labeled powdered newt. "What do you plan on making with these items?"

"Master gave me a list of potion recipes that have different effects, and with a steady flow of materials I will be able to experiment with new formula potions that I came up with. Also, my dear brother to be, I have a potion that will help increase your stamina."

Kell chuckles before saying, "Well bro, if it helps me keep up with Midna during our mating dances I will be eternity grateful. Hell, if your formula can give more energy than her so I can wear her out, we'll name our first kid after you."

Manic gives him an odd expression then laughs, "Ok, but I think Midna will have something to say about that. None the less, I would be honored."

A tall white male comes for the back to greet them, "Hello and welcome, my name is Wyatt, and how may I help you?"

"Hello and yes," Manic greets back as his pulls a piece of paper from his mini book. "May, I get all the items on this list."

Wyatt takes the list and quickly scans over it. Once done, he looks back the green hedgehog, "No problem. Just give me a bit."

They watch the young man head into the back before Manic starts to look around at some more items. "Do you really think that you can make a potion that can give me the stamina to outpace Midna?"

"If Sonic can create a chilidog to speed him up, I can create a strong enough stamina potion to outlast her," Manic answers with a smirk.

"Hehe, I can't wait to try that potion," Kell comments. "Midna is going to be in for a surprise, HA HA!"

Manic snicker while shaking his head. A second later, the green hedgehog's phone sounds off with one of his recorded drum solos. "Wha' up? Huh? We're at a magic supply store. What?! Why? Are Nico and them back? Alright… alright, we're on our back." Manic looks at his cell while hanging you.

"What was that about?"

"You got me, Cortana just told me that we need to be get back ASAP."

Kell taps his chin, "Is it an emergency?"

"I don't think so, because my older sibs would come to us get us," Manic replies. He walks over to the counter and calls out for aid. Another young man comes out, "Sorry, but can you deliver the materials to my hotel?"

"Yeah that's not a problem. I will let my brother know, but you will have to pay a shipping fee," Chris explains.

"Cool," Manic replies and write his information.

Twenty minutes later, Cortana stands in front of Mika's desk looking at the Maine Coon secretary to see a worried expression on her face. "Ms. Ashford please don't look so worried. Manic and Sonia are capable of handling this without freaking out."

"I hope so," Mika fires back. "Queen Aleena asked me to take this position in order to help train the future kings to be responsible and accountable to the duties that come with being a future ruler. I can't see why the queen couldn't order the princes to return."

"They are searching for clues that will lead them to find where King Sora and Captain Adair went to after leaving Earth. Locating their father's tribe, and knowing that he was there before leaving, Nico and Sonic might discover a clue that will get us all one step closer to our missing love ones," the blue AI counters.

Mika exhales in defeat, "Alright, I won't argue anymore about this, but…"

"Yes, yes, anything over class A clearance will be sent and handle by Sonic and Nico," Cortana states.

The moment she finishes her statement, Sonia, Kana, Manic, and Kell walk into the room with the two of them. Mika stands up and address the group, "Thank you for coming for so quickly."

Sonia says first, "So what's the emergency?"

Cortana looks over at the close door to Sonic's office then at Mika. She takes a deep breathe then stands up and explains, "Alright, as you know, the princes left over two weeks ago, and they did in such a quick fashion that I had of no choice but to backlog all their work, meetings, and paperwork. The queen…"

A tachikoma jumps up on Cortana waving to let her know she is ready. "Speak of the devil, go ahead and patch her in."

Tachikoma nods sends out a beam of light, and Aleena's image appears in the room. "Hello everyone," the purple hedgehog says with a smile. Everyone greets her back, and she quickly follows up with, "Manic, how is your potion making going?"

"I just picked all the supplies I need for my latest testing rounds," Manic happily answers.

"And Sonia, what have you been up to as of late?" Aleena inquires with a raised eyebrow.

Sonia gives a nervous gulp, "Well, I have been working on culture studies."

"You mean you have been going spa hopping and shopping." Sonia drops her head in shame being called out for her activities. "I taught so. Well, I hate to change your plans, but its time for you two pull your weight. As you know, as part of their punishment, your brothers were required to handle all the work coming in and out of the office. I did a progress check, and your brothers have done more than enough to complete their punishment. Now you know what I am going say, right?"

"Yup and we got it covered mom," Sonia quickly replies.

Manic grabs his sister's shoulder while whispering, "What the hell are you talking about? We can't over for them!"

She whispers back, "Relax, if Sonic and Nico can handle this load, it will be a breeze for us."

"Don't you remember how much work was stacked up in her office."

"Relax, that was what six months of backlog? How much could stack within two weeks? We'll be fine." Sonia looks back her mother, "Don't worry mom, you can leave the rest up to us."

"Wonderful," Aleena praises with animated pose. "Feel free to call if you have you need any help." Aleena gives them a thumbs up, "Love you both. Bye!"

Tachikoma shuts off the hologram just as Mika heads to the door. "Are you sure that you will be able to handle this?"

Sonia waves hand in front of her face, "Don't worry. Manic and I have this under control." The violet hedgehog princess opens the door and walks in without looking ahead. Manic's jaw drops when he sees into the room. Sonia looks at her green brother standing in ah-shock, "Manic?" He only points behind her; she turns around and sees seventeen stacks of a hundred and forty-five gray data pads. "Oh my gosh… WHAT THE HELL!" she screams seeing all the pads in the office.

"This can't be possible! How can this be two weeks' worth of work?" Manic questions looking at all the pads.

"What did you expect?" Cortana inquires with a smirk. Kana and Kell walk in whistle seeing all the towering work. The blue AI looks at them then says, "Ms. Ashford, didn't you have a message for Kell and Kana?"

"Yes," Mika responses, "Lieutenants, her majesty has ordered that you take over the duties of Captain Adair."

"You're joking!" Kana exclaims.

"Here are your scheduled meetings for the next three days," Mika states passing out data pads the four of them.

They each scan the agenda, and Kana is the first to voice, "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT!"

Sonia exclaims still scrolling down, "Ms. Ashford, you have me schedule for twenty meetings back to back!"

"That's nothing! She has me set up for thirty presentations for the first part of the day; then I got to marathon meetings until 10 PM!" Manic whines.

Kell shakes his head, "This has to be a joke."

"It is not Lieutenant Adair, and you have a meeting with GUN to get briefed on the upgrades for their robotic and mech forces. Captain Sisko has a shuttle waiting to you at Oakland Airport. Your car is waiting downstairs," Mika states. "As for you," she continues pointing at Kana, "the captain's office is down the hall. Please follow me. Princess Sonia, I will be back in an hour to escort you to your 2:30 meeting. Please read over line item seventy-six prior to the meeting." Kell and Kana follow Mika out leaving Sonia, Manic, and Cortana in Sonic's office.

Sonia turns to look at everything stacked in the room, but on her third turn she sees Cortana heading towards the door, "Hey wait! Where you are going?"

Manic looks at the blue AI just as she stops at the door, "Yeah, you can't just leave us with all this work!"

Cortana smirks, "Yes I can. Besides, I have my own work and duties to attend to."

"We are going to need your help," Manic begs.

Sonia adds, "Don't you help Sonic and Nico when they do this?"

Cortana folds her arms, "No, I don't. Even back on Mobius, they handled all the work. All I do is check their grammar and make sure that they cross their t's and dot the i's. With that, I'm out." Cortana starts to head out, but she stops just short of leaving while snapping her fingers. "Ah, I almost forgot! Tachikomas!" Two green and two violet tachikomas appear in front of her. She turns around and says, "Sonia, Manic say hello to your partners. Motoko and I finish the final fine toning on them. Alright get going."

"Yes ma'am!" the four of them exclaim flying over to Sonia and Manic carrying a watch. Once they are front of their new owners, they drop the watch in their hands, "Hello, we look forward to working with you."

"They will give you a full operational breakdown later, but they are going take a little time to the get acclimatized to you. With that, I am outta here!" Cortana exclaims running out while slamming the door behind her.

The shockwave from the door, make the piles of data pads to start to shift and rock until all the stacks collapse the come crashing down on the two hedgehogs burying them. A minute later, their heads pop out, and Manic gives his sister an angry look. He says in a mocking tone of Sonia's voice, "'Relax, if Sonic and Nico can handle this load it will be a breeze for us.' 'Don't worry. Manic and I have this under control.' Well, you think we got this under control Sonia?!"

"Uhh… hehe hehe," Sonia nervously responses.

A week later, Amy sits in one of the booths rubbing her feet. "I know it's Saturday, but what was with that lunch rush? Not to mention, the breakfast rush was beyond wild. What is with today?"

"Good question," Blaze comments, "It was so crazy that there is no and I mean no food left. Uncle Leo, did you put out some kind of ad or promotion deal?"

The purple cat works on the receipts while answering, "No, but if someone did I would to love to thank them personally. Just from breakfast alone, we did over two thousand per hour. In total, we cleared fourteen thousand dollars just for breakfast as so far, and I can bet that lunch is going to be double that."

Big exclaims, "WOW! We never done that much business before."

"Amy, did you, Cream, Cosmo, and Bunnie tally up your tips?" Blaze questions.

The pink hedgehog tilts her head to table with a pile of money of different value. "All that is just the cash tips. I'm not even going to try and figure out how much from card receipts. As for the others, you're going to have to wait until they get back from the store."

The door opens making Amy say without looking, "Sorry, we're closed! Come back at five."

"Well, I'm not here for food."

Amy tilts her head back to see Lewis walking in. "Mr. Sisko, what are you doing here?"

The retired director smirks; then he walks towards Leo. He sits at the table seeing all the receipts. "Wow Leo, business is booming." He picks up one of the receipts and reviews it. To his surprise, the grand total for it ticket was over five hundred dollars. "Wow, you had a party of a hundred that's amazing."

"There's a first time for everything my friend. Although, my question is why would we get so much business?" Leo questions as he finishes the breakfast receipts.

Lewis helps with the lunch receipts while Amy and Blaze clean up the dining room. Suddenly, Bunnie comes running in carrying a magazine. "Uncle Leo! Uncle Leo!" She comes to a sliding stop at his table.

"Bunnie, what's all the fuse about?"

"Check it out! Whis posted his report!" Bunnie exclaims.

Amy finishes mopping and walks over and sits at the adjacent table. "Do you think that we got ranked?"

Blaze is the next to sit down while saying, "As much as he ate and reacted to Uncle Leo's cooking; I wouldn't count us out."

"Well, don't hold us in suspense start reading Bunnie," Lewis pushes.

Bunnie opens the O Magazine and starts reading.

"Bunnie," Amy calls out pausing her reading, "We don't need the whole background of the article get to the juicy part."

"Ok Ms. Impatience," Bunnie giggles scanning down the page. She turns the next three pages, "Wow, Whis really went in depth on his report. Ah, here we go." She continues reading.

Before I get to the results, *'BUNNIE!' 'I'm getting there!'* I will also be announcing my top ten on OWN and FoodTV this Friday night and Saturday. Alright without further ado, let's get to my top 100 list.

"He has them divided up into categories. One hundred thru fifty-one are restaurants that are worthy of their five-star ranking," Bunnies reads out before scanning down the list. "I don't out see our name here."

Blaze comments, "I don't know if that is a bad or good thing."

"We won't know until she finishes reading the list sis. Go on Bunnie keep reading," Big orders.

"Ok," Bunnie states reading through the next five pages, "here we go restaurants ranked fifty through twenty-six are five-star, but they failed on certain aspects. In this case, they charge too much for the food, but the quality did not match the price being charged." Bunnie scans down the list, but after couple second of scanning she bust laughing. "I can't believe it!"

Leo looks up from his laptop, "Did you find us?"

"No, but I did find a certain spoiled rotten squirrel's restaurant."

"Oh, you know the moment she finds that out; she is going to lose her shit," Blaze states.

"You got that right. Ok, next are twenty-five to eleven and they are like the others, but the service is where they fall short. Humm…," as she looks at the list. "No luck here."

"Well, look at it as a good thing," Lewis states making the others give him a confused look. "You have proven that you have a five-star rank, good cost, and great service."

Bunnie turns to the next page, "I'll take your word for it. We're down to the top ten." She scans ten to six and doesn't see their restaurant. She scans the top five and nearly loses when she reads, "Get this! Top five restaurants in the world are: Yukihira's Local Diner in Tokyo Japan, King Arthur's Court in London England, Sunday Soul Food in Atlanta Georgia. The top two restaurants in the world are located in San Francisco California. Number two is Luigi's Bros. They provide a wonderful Italian experience with a locate charm of all its own. The number one restaurant in the world is the Golden Gate Grill!" Everyone gasps in shock then rushes over to look at the magazine crowding over the brown rabbit. As they each try to see the page then she screams, "ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! GET OFF ME AND BACK UP! I'LL READ WHAT IT SAYS!" Everyone backs up then she straightens her shirt; then she reads the article:

The Golden Gate Grill is owned by Leonard Cat, a retired GUN agent. After his years of service, he opened a locate restaurant to share his amazing cooking skills with the world. Leo's signature dish is his Golden Fried Fish. On the day of my visit, I had to privilege of not only trying his dish, but I got to experience the Cajun Cruise made by the founder and former director the GUN Lewis Sisko. In addition, I was surprised to try the cooking of Prince Nico Werehog-Hedgehog from the Mobian Empire. The three chefs agreed to be part of the next Iron Chef. Just don't take my word for it, go and experience the magic they wield over food.

"THIS IS AWESOME! CONGRATULATIONS!" Blaze exclaims jumping up to hug her uncle. "You deserve it."

Lewis asks Bunnie for the magazine then looks over the write out. After a couple of minutes, he sets it down then says, "Leo, I talked with Mary, and she agreed with our request."

"That's great Lewis," Leo replies.

"What are you talking about?" Bunnie questions.

Lewis and Leo smirks; then the elder African-American explains, "Leo and I are planning to expand the grill along with going into business with each other. Plus, we're making a couple of changes and additions to the menu like Cajun and Cero food." He gets up and says before leaving, "Leo, I'll see you Monday morning at the bank to make the final arrangements."

Leo gestures to his future partner then looks at Bunnie and Amy reading the magazine then says, "Alright you two, nothing has changed nor will. Now Bunnie, go help your sister and mom with the shopping. Amy and Blaze, there's a mountain of dishes with your names all over it. Big, go empty the trash then help your sister with the dishes. Ok everyone you have your duties, let's get cracking the dinner rush will be here before we know it."

The rest of the weekend passes by, and Monday morning rolls in with a stormy wet start. Leo and Lewis rush into Bayside Bank brushing wet drops off their suit jackets. The receptionist greets the men finds out who they are meeting with. She directs them to the lobby while informing the banker that his appointment has arrived. Another receptionist walks up to them offering coffee; after he brings them the hot drinks, a tall lion in a fine business suit comes walking up behind the receptionist. "Leo, my friend, it's good to the see you again," he says while extending his hand.

The men stand up together as Leo shakes his hand first. While Lewis shakes the lion's hand, Leo says, "Lewis, this is Richard Mane. He served with the 82nd Airborne. Rich this is…"

"Don't tell me Lewis Sisko founder and first director of GUN. Before that, you were an Admiral in the US Navy, don't worry I won't hold it against you. Its always a pleasure to meet a former service member. Come on let's to go to my office," Rich states. The three men walk down the length of the lobby to Richard's office. He opens the door letting Leo and Lewis enter first; then the lion banker walks in shutting the door behind. As he moves to his desk, Richard states, "Director Sisko, I don't know if you know this, but Leo and I served together on a couple missions."

"What?! Leo never told me that. Which opts.?"

Leo answers with, "Well, Rich was one of the first members of ODST. We officially met when I was overseeing that mission in India. You remember, the one with the kidnapped prime minister."

"Yeah," Lewis comments, "It was the first joint mission with GUN and the Army. So which role did you play Rich?"

"I was the team lead and co-sniper with Leo as lead sniper. I tell you director, that cat there picked up the nickname Deadeye during that opt. Hell, I figured that he was trained by the Army Sniper Core, but he told me that the SEALS are the ones who trained him," Rich laughed.

Leo comes back with, "Come on Rich, when it came to sync-takedowns you called it perfectly. If you weren't wearing army patches, I would have been calling you Lt. Commander instead to major."

"So how did you get to finance?" Lewis questions.

Rich leans back in his chair then explains, "Well truth being, I was away from home so much on back to back missions; I was missing my daughter growing up. Add to that, my marriage was starting to fall apart. My husband threatened to leave with our daughter if I didn't get a new job, so I use college degree in Economics and Finance. Now, I help veterans with loans, home and business mortgages, and other finical needs. So, what brings you to in today?"

"Lewis and I are planning to go into partnership, and we want to expand the diner," Leo explains.

"This will be interesting, having two former GUN agents running a restaurant," Richard comments. Leo then hands the lion the O Magazine. He directs him to go to Whis' article. Rich reads the article and is shocked when he reads who won first place. "Well cuff me and throw me a zoo." He stands up and extends his hand. Leo shakes Rich's hand while he says, "Congratulations Leo," they sit down, and Richard continues while typing on his computer, "With these honors and your finical history it won't be a problem getting you the extra capital." He finishes putting in the new information for the application then clicks *submit*. After a couple of seconds, a message pops up on the screen that makes Rich say, "What in the world?"

"Something wrong?" Lewis questions.

The loan officer replies while reentering the information, "It's nothing. A possible glitch in the system or something I enter wrong into the computer." Rich presses submit again, but the same message pops up. He gives low growl of anger then grabs he desk phone. "Yes, Richard Mane, ID 849646. Yes, I wanted to check if there is a problem with the network? Yes, ok thank you," he hangs up the phone then enters the information for a third time, but the same message pops up again. "I can't believe or explains this."

"What are you seeing?" Leo questions with a worried tone.

"For some reason, the system is saying that your request is denied, but I can't see why. Don't worry I'll go to talk the bank manager and get this straightened out," Rich states while heading out the door.

At the grill Amy, Cream, and Cosmo are cleaning up after the morning rush. The leaf green haired girl hands her adopted sister a stack of dishes to put into the bus tray. "Since we won one number diner in the world, we been getting busier and busier," She states with a smile.

Cream follows up with, "And things are going to get even busier with Uncle Leo and Mr. Lewis are going become partners."

"Yup, then we'll really be rolling in cash," Amy jokes.

They are soon joined by Blaze and Big from the kitchen with an empty dish cart. "How we are looking in here?" Blaze asks.

"We're almost all done here. How's the kitchen looking?" the hedgehog fires back while wiping down a table.

Big loads the dish cart with the last two bus trays, "Ms. Vanilla should be here in a couple of minutes with the lunchtime groceries."

Blaze tosses the cleaning towel into the bus tray. "Speaking of, can you really believe that we only have two more weeks until school starts."

"Unreal," Amy states, "but on the upside I have made enough cash to last for the whole semester."

From the front door a very notable voice sounds off making everyone cringe in annoyance, "Maybe if didn't work in a dump like this, you wouldn't have to worry about money at all." Everyone turns towards the front door to see Sally and two brutish men standing behind her. "Amy, why do you insist on working here? You could be living in the lap of luxury with the finest clothes, the greatest conveniences, the world's best food." Sally walks up to the equally tall pink hedgehog with a compassionate expression on her face. "Amy, think about Alex. He is a young boy who needs and deserves the better things in life. He's never really had the chance to know what it is like to have a loving parent. Alex is at his most impressionable stage in his life, and as his older sisters, we should be pulling him to follow great men like daddy. He is ready to guide and mentor him like a father."

"You really think that huh," Amy comments looking at her adopted sister.

Sally's eyes begin to tear up while saying, "Alex and you are family. We should be together. I never got to know my mom, and daddy did the best he could rising me by himself. When I found out the daddy adopted Alex and you, I was so happy that I would have a sister and little brother to play with."

Blaze fires off, "Oh please! When we were younger, you made life for everyone, especially Amy and Alex, a living hell! And don't gives us that bullshit about never knowing your mom, everyone knows your 'daddy' abused and treated her like trash! And you say want Alex to be mentored by him, he'll turn into nothing more than a money grubbing, backstabbing, abusive asshole!"

Sally looks at the purple cat with a deadly glare, "Low scum, like you, should only talk when being addressed to do so." She quickly looks back at Amy with tear filled eyes while hugging her, "Amy, look at how these people are changing you for the worst. I only realize now the error of my ways, so please, sister, come home. We can be the family that should have always been."

The pink hedgehog is unmoved by Sally's words and keeps a stoic face as she responses with, "Let go of me." The young squirrel backs away hearing the malice dripping from Amy's words. She continues with, "Sally, you can't trick me with your crocodile tears. I will not allow Charles Acorn in any way or form to influence MY little brother. As for your so-called loving family, don't think for a second that I believe he is not responsible for my parents' death. He destroyed my family. As for your offer for a life of luxury, enjoy it while you can. Once I'm of age, you and your daddy will be out of my family's business, home, and out of our lives."

Sally walks back to stand in front of her bodyguards. She says with her false tears gone, "You're quick to see through my words, but isn't there any love in heart left for us?"

"Yes, once I see Charles Acorn in jail and you out expelled, I will love every moment of it. Now did you come here for a reason or just to run your month? If not, we a lot of work to get done before the lunch rush. After all, the Golden Gate Grill is the number one restaurant in the world," Amy proudly states.

Sally gives an evil grin, "Unfortunately, this place won't be holding that title for long."

"What are you talking about?" Cream questions.

"Let's just say that the former owner needs to really learn to pay his bills."

Meanwhile at the bank…

Richard and Latino American woman walk into his office. She walks pass the two seated men over to the lion banker's computer. Richard quickly introduces, "Gentlemen, this is Rachel Rodriguez the bank's general manager."

She quickly types something in then says in a snobby tone, "I don't know why you called me here! The answer is clearly displayed on the screen."

"Ma`am that can't be…"

Rachel looks at Leo, "Mr. Cat was it… your request for addition capital is denied for the simple fact that don't pay your bills. This is a waste of my time, Mane can explain the details. Besides the deed to the property has been already sold to the new owner." She gets up and walks out the room without even looking at anyone.

"WHAT NEW OWNER?!"

Amy, Big, and other grill crew-members are in pure shock hearing Sally's statement. Blaze is the first to voice, "Run that by us one more time."

"Here I was under the impression that cats were intelligent, but maybe it's just you who is slow," Sally replies. "Ok now listen carefully, your stupid uncle didn't pay his mortgage on this dump, so daddy bought this dump and gave it to me."

"Like we believe your lying crazy ass," Blaze fires back.

Sally cheerful demeanor starts to fade, "Believe what you like, but I own this place now. In fact, I'll be doing the world a favor closing this shit filled litter box down." Blaze's fire aura flares up listening to the degrading squirrel. Sally's smile comes back seeing her words to getting to the female purple cat. "Oh, don't think that Leo will be keeping his number one rating. After all, once everyone knows how he cheated, well, public opinion is very easily controlled."

Blaze quickly fires back, "What the hell are you planning?!"

Sally only laughs, "You will have to just wait and see. It wouldn't be any fun if I just tell you." Blaze's aura flares up even higher warming the whole room. "As for your world class food, anyone can take dog shit, or, in your case, cat shit and call it food. How about this before I destroy this place, I place the last order then have it sent to it to your homeless shelter and along with your paid critic."

Sally's last words push Blaze over the edge. The purple fire cat launches herself using her flames to boost her speed. Sally's bodyguards quickly step in front of her while drawing their guns. Blaze's wraps her left fist in fire as she gets closer to her target. With surprising speed, her older brother quickly steps in grabbing and pull her back. He looks at her and says, "No! Calm down, you know Uncle Leo doesn't allow fighting in here." Blaze dispels her flames with a pissed off expression. The large purple cat turns to Sally and her guards, "Ms. Acorn, I was left in charge; at the moment, we're closed. Please come back during our normal business hours. Now please leave, or I will call the police."

"Fine, I can't stand the stench of cat piss much longer." Sally turns to walk out but stops just before she opens the door. She turns to look back at the pink hedgehog and says, "Oh don't forget Amy, your contract with daddy is still valid. Remember, if you are unemployed, you will lose custody of Alex. I'll tell the help to setup his room in the basement. I look forward to spending some quality time with my little brother."

In a pink whoosh of wind, Sally's eyes bug out in terror seeing Amy standing right in front of with a small knife at her throat. The young squirrel puts on a brave face looking into Amy's cold dead eyes. "You even think about laying one finger on my brother, and it will be your last."

The two guards draw and point their guns at Amy. Sally gives a nervous smile, "Don't forget I'm a GUN agent, I could arrest right this moment for threatening an officer and you'll never see Alex again, or you can just walk away. Look carefully at your options."

"Have look at yours," Amy counters pressing knife harder to Sally's neck. Maxine appear behind Sally shaking her head no at Amy's actions.

Big calls out, "Amy don't do it. She not worth putting your or Alex's life in danger." Amy exhales backing away from her adversary. "Leave now!" he then orders. Sally and her guards walk out while doing what they a can to keep an eye on the pink hedgehog.

Just moments after the bank manager leaves, Richard gives an annoyed growl as he sits down. "According to the records, you haven't made a payment on your loan in the past sixty days."

"What?! That's not true. I have never been late or missed a payment. Let along, two payments back to back," Leo argues.

Lewis stands up while asking, "Rich, may I look at your computer?" He nods yes allowing the former director to look at information on the screen. "Humm… the records clearly show that you didn't make any payments, but…" Lewis takes the keyboard then quickly types and pulls up several other windows with Leo's information. Richard watches in surprise at Lewis computer skills until the former director pulls something that makes him say, "Now this is interesting."

"What did you find?" Leo inquires.

He points as the screen, "Look here, these are the dates that you would pay on your mortgage. Just like clockwork, you would pay on the second Thursday of the month. Now look at this, the mortgage payment sheet shows the same thing until you get two that last two months. Now when you line the deduction section from your account alongside the bank payment information, something odd happened. Now they both show the same information, but this code here denotes that someone has altered the data. Add to that, the FDIC verification numbers don't match your standard payment notice."

"Wow, I would have never guessed that you know something like that Lewis," Richard states as he closely examines the FDIC number. "Yeah, this number is not only off, the time codex printed there tells me that this was done only done two weeks ago. How did you figure that out?"

Lewis stands up and move behind Richard desk; then he says while plugging in a jump drive, "During my time with GUN, we faced a Russian mob lead worldwide money laundering operation. They were banks from multiple countries to wash, transfer, and dispense huge sums of cash. The real brilliance behind their operation; they used bank accounts like yours or mine to do it all." After he finishes copying all the data, he pulls the drive and pulls it in his pocket. "I'm going the have GUN run a check on this data for the same signatures. Rich, I know this may sound paranoid, but have you seen anything like this happen before?"

The lion taps his chin thinking for a couple of minutes then says, "Yeah, once or twice on home loans and certain small businesses. I chalked it up to bad or hard luck, but you look at it again…"

Leo is the next to say, "If this is what we think, then some dangerous people like Acorn might have a stake this."

"Until then, don't talk about anything you have learned or will find out. Not until GUN and FECs get involved. For now, consider this code word operation," Lewis finishes.

"Understood director," Richard replies.

Three men shake hands; then Leo and Lewis head out. Once they are in Leo's car, Lewis says, "Even in retirement, we still have to deal with smug bags. I'll contact Ben and get the ball rolling on getting to the bottom of this. In the meantime…,"

"In the meantime, I'll play dumb until Ben finds out what's Acorn's angle."

Shadow, Midna, Silver, Worf, Jadzia, Odo, and Julian sit in the briefing room on ARK talking among each other when Kira walks in carrying data pads for everyone. She passes the pads around table then stands at the head, "Aright everyone, we just got a new case."

Jadzia is the first to voice, "This has got be a joke, Acorn bought Leo's diner. Why?"

"According to the Captain, it's out of pure revenge because Leo get first place in restaurant world, but that is not our main concern." Everyone gives her a questionable look before she continues with, "Wolf, you remember the case with Russian mob money laundering operation?"

"Yes, it was one of Director Sisko's last operations. It was tough, but we were able to break it apart," Wolf replies.

Silver voices, "I remember reading about that case during training, but what does that have to do with Leo's shop?"

Kira explains, "The trick of how the money was moved from one account to another was used against Leo. Director Sisko realized this when he checked Leo's account. As you can see on your briefing pad, the payment was moved then redeposited in a whole new location. When we encountered it the first time, we were all under the suspension that a hacker in the mob was behind this; however, we found out we had caught the person behind this part of the operation."

Wolf chimes in with, "Every time we believe we caught the person in charge; we found out that they were an imposter or an underling."

"And since you never found the culprit, it goes without saying the mastermind is still out there," Jadzia comments. "Hold on, does this mean you might a have clue on who and where the mastermind is?"

"Yes, cyber control is still processing the data, but once they confirm the ID, we'll make the arrest," the first officer states.

Midna quickly follows up with, "What a minute, what about Leo in all this? Are we just going leave him hanging in the wind?"

"No," Kira states, "Leo knows about the plan and is willing to go along with the operation."

Shadow continues read over the briefing pad while listening to the others then he says, "Commander, is it going to become public knowledge that Acorn took over Leo's restaurant?"

"No, but why do you ask?"

The black hedgehog smirks; then he says, "I believe we can us this as way to catch the Black Rose Ninja."

Everyone looks at Shadow with an intense glare, "What are thinking?"

Blaze paces back and forth growling while each DEDSEC member does their own thing. They listen her fume and vent about Sally's visit and threats. "I CAN'T BELIEVE THE NERVE OF THAT SPOIL RICH PIECE OF SHIT! SHE COMES INTO MY FAMILY'S BUSINESS THREATEN US! AHHH! I WOULD HAVE SHOWN HER WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FUCK WITH A PREDATOR!"

Wrench quickly asks, "Why didn't you?"

Blaze flops on the couch with her arms folded then says, "Big stopped me because he didn't want me to get into trouble."

Marcus reads his computer screen while saying, "Good thing that he did stop you because that would have put unwanted heat on us."

"Yeah, but I can't say the same for Amy." The pink hedgehog looks at Blaze as she continues, "What happened back there?"

Amy gives a confused expression, "What do you talking about?"

The fire cat quickly retorts with, "What am I talking about? You pull some shit that none of us have ever seen before. You moved so fast that you were able to get pass Sally's goons and right into that whore's face in the blink of an eye. Come to the think about it, you had a what look like a knife. Where did you get it? On top of that, how did you get so fast?"

Amy gets a nervous expression then looks at the Maxine, but she only shrugs her shoulders then Amy says, "Um, a new workout routine."

Blaze gives her a 'yeah right' expression, "Then I need get me some of that, but what about the knife?"

"Um… I got it from the table."

"Ok, I'm not dumb or blind Amy. There were no knives on any tables, or did you forget that we bus and cleaned each table. They were all empty, so where did you get the knife?"

The pink hedgehog looks left then right seeing others turning their sight to her; she finally exhales then holds out her hand making small streams of light gathering together. Suddenly, the gathered light burst leaving a silver stealth throwing knife.

"WOW!" everyone exclaims as they put down what they were working on to walk over to her.

Blaze is the first to speak, "When were you able to do that?"

"Can I hold it?" Wrench requests.

Amy nods yes in a flash he grabs the knife, then she says, "It's was after Sonic returned my necklace. I was able to awaken my own new powers, but I still don't know how to fully control them or what is the extent of my powers."

"WHAT THE FUCK!" Wrench screams drawing everyone's attention. Wrench and Horacio are shocked seeing how the knife is sharp enough split a book they dropped in half. "Amy, you had this thing next to Sally's neck."

Horatio quickly follows up with, "One little finch and her head would have flow off."

"That was my goal, but my better angel and Big stopped me," Amy explains. "That to the side, we have more pressing matters at hand. How the hell did Acorn steal the grill?"

Josh swiftly types away at his computer while saying in normal monotone voice, "According to the data, someone went into Leo's account and made it look like that he didn't make any payments for the past two months."

Blaze inquires, "How the hell did he pull it off?"

"It looks like it was done from within the bank," Josh replies.

Ray looks at Josh's monitor then exclaims, "Son of bitch! Josh, send me a copy of the data." The teenage sends the data; he walks over to his station. Ray reviews the data then slams his fist on the table. "Dammit, the motherfucker is back!"

Everyone looks at him and Marcus is the first to ask, "Ray who are talking about? Who's back?"

"This was before your time, but a class A hacker called The Banker was the terror of the net. Unlike us, The Banker was one of those hackers who was in it for the money. The fucker worked for the scum of the criminal underworld. Word was that The Banker's biggest client was the Russian Mob, but that was the tip of the fucker's resume. The Banker has been linked to numerous crimes ranging from human trafficking to supplying funds to terrorist organizations. I even had couple of run-ins with him when it came to light that he was the mastermind behind over a thousand hospitals hit with ransomware."

Sitara comments, "I remember seeing that on the news; nearly three hundred people died because the ransomware deleted vital patient information."

"Yup, that attack made it taboo for hackers to go after hospitals or any medical offices. I had a friend that almost died because of The Banker. For payback, I helped GUN try to track down the asshole, but The Banker went dark and off the net." Ray finishes typing as a program runs in the background. A minute late, the screen shows Leo's accounts with checks in certain areas confirming Ray's theory. "I'll be damned, the fucker is back!"

"The Banker and Acorn," Amy comments. "It doesn't surprise that he would get involved with a mass murderer, so what are we going to do about this?"

"Sadly, our options are limited," Marcus states. "On top of that, we don't much evidence connecting Acorn to this."

Wrench facemask displays happy smiles, "I smell another operation!"

"Do you think that's wise?" Marcus questions. "After the craziness with Rose Corp, I taught we agreed to hold off until school starts."

"We have no choice. Acorn is forcing our hand using Rose Corp funds. I must put an end to it and get the grill back before it too late," Amy answers.

Sitara walks over to a wall flips a switch making a smartboard a move up from the floor. "Alright, if we're going to do this, we need to find a way to the connect Acorn with The Banker," the teenage girl states while writing on the board.

"Our best lead is Uncle Leo's bank account," Blaze starts off. "Acorn got The Banker to go in manipulate records…"

Josh quickly jumps in with, "There's more. It seems over twenty thousand dollars were tagged to show being transferred from Leo's account to someone else."

"Who's account?" Amy inquires.

"One minute… got it. The account belongs to Whis Angel."

"Whis Angel," Ray says. "Hold up, Whis Angel as in the Whis Angel the food critic."

Blaze follows up with, "Yeah, the same food critic who put Sally's restaurant in forty-fifth place and…" The purple cat pausing as Sally's words playback in her head. "That motherfucking, no good, sleaze whore, gutter trash! That's what she meant by 'paid critic'!" Everyone gives her a puzzled expression. She reexplains what the squirrel GUN agent said to them earlier; then she says, "What she said makes perfect sense now. They are going to make it look like Whis was paid off while trashing both of their reputations."

"That's fucked up, but it does gives us another lead to run down on connecting the dots," Marcus adds.

Wrench looking at Josh's screen and comments, "Yo check this out, all the transfers and payments that were modified happened over three weeks ago."

"Three weeks!" Horatio comments while looking at his computer with Whis' article pulled up, "He didn't publish the article until last Friday. There's no way that Sally would have known that the grill got first place unless…"

"Unless… she had an inside source," Wrench finishes. "Oh man, she's breaking all the rules."

"That gives us another track," Sitara comments as she writes the information on board. "But how do we get that info?"

Ray quickly answers, "Her phone. If you can get me a copy of her phone logs and the cell phone, I can backtrack it straight to the insider."

"Add to that, according to the data, the changes to Leo's account happened inside the bank. If we were able to get a log of who was working and made the changes from inside, we can track and bust The Banker. At the same time, we can prove Acorn's link," Marcus boosts.

"Alright then, let's get down to business," Amy commands helping Sitara pull up the needed data and maps.

Two weeks earlier….

Sonic is sleeping in his bed with the calm moonlight shining through the window. The blue hedgehog is in a peaceful dream until he hears banging on his door. He tries to block out the pounding, but the knocker will not stop. Sonic finally sits up with his quills and fur extremely disheveled. He goes to the door and opens it to find Silverfang standing there; he looks at the wall clock then back at the silver fur wolf, "It's one forty-one in the morning! What do you want?"

"Hurry up and get dressed!" Silverfang orders.

Sonic yawns while rubbing his right eye, "Why?!"

"You and I have some things to settle. Now, get dressed!"

Fifteen minutes later, the blue hedgehog walks outside following the five-foot taller wolf. Unknown to them, Kenna watches them head out. "What are they up to?" the white wolf questions herself quickly getting dress then heads out to follow them.

Silverfang leads Sonic to a giant lake ten miles away from the village. The full moon and stars are reflected on the water surface with the light of the moon shining down on the land. Sonic looks at the lake then back at Silverfang, "Got to say Silverfang, this is a pretty awesome place. The lake with the moon is way cool, but I don't think that you brought me out here just to admire view. What's on your mind?"

The wolf warrior squares off with the hedgehog prince, "I want to face you again in battle, but this time at your full power. During your little concert, you went into your super form. I saw you do the same thing in Manhattan, and I want to face you in that form."

Sonic only folds his arms looking at his cousin, "You are serious?"

"Very! If you really are Skyfang's sons, then you will prove it to me."

"Look, Nico and I have already fought you to a draw."

Silverfang gives off a quick growl then says, "That fight didn't count. Besides, I wasn't able to use my full power either."

Sonic shakes his head while snickering, "Sorry my brother, but there's no way that you would be able to handle us in super form. Plus allow me to give you a little background about what you and everyone else saw in Manhattan." The cobalt prince holds out his right hand while saying, "That fight took place after a new number of tackling events. First of all, Nico was pushed to the limit using his shield to the protect everyone at the UN. Second, I was running all over Manhattan getting people out of the city. Third, Nico nearly fainted after using his shield again to protect our siblings from the massive bombardment. By the time, we went super, nearly all of our strength was gone. If I was to fight you right here and now, I would be at full power and at least three times as strong. And without a super form…"

Silverfang interjects with, "What gives you the idea that I nor my kin don't have a super form?" He points to the bright moon in the sky, "Just the pure light from the moon, grants us greater power and strength than you can believe. And when the moon is full, our people are even more powerful than what you can dream of. Even now, I'm more than a match for the both of you."

Sonic chuckles with arms folded and a relax expression on his face, "Trust, you're not the only one getting a serious power boost from the full moon. That just means that's you're still no match for me in my super form." Silverfang faces the moon in tranced by its light. Sonic exhales looking at him for a couple of minutes then says, "Look if we're done, Nico and I are going back to bed."

Sonic turns to walk away, but the tribal wolf says, "Sonic, did grandmother tell you anything about Xaural (EX-aura-il)?"

"No, nothing like that was brought up during our meetings today. Mind enlightening us on what that is?" Sonic questions while turning around to see his body giving off a massive blue, white, and matte black aura. "Well, I wasn't expecting that."

Not too far away hiding behind a tree close to the edge to the clearing, Kenna watches as Silverfang's body explodes with a powerful energy. "What the hell is going on with his energy? I got to put a stop a stop to this before things get out of hand."

Just as she is about to move, a strong hand grips onto her shoulder. She turns around ready to attack, but she finds Shadowfang and Emeraldfang standing behind her. The black wolf motions for her to keep her voice down before they move closer to watch the event unfold. "Just watch. This might be the only way for them to come and understand each other. He needs to see that they are Skyfang's sons."

Silverfang's eyes glow a burning ember color while his body continues to give off waves of power. "What do you think?"

Sonic shakes his head no, "You're still not showing any reason to go to super."

"Oh! I'm still just powering up." Silverfang feels a familiar sensation just as his aura explodes as he starts to float into the air and howl out loud, "XAURAL!" The energy surrounding him starts to transform his body. His silver colored fur becomes bright shiny metallic like silver with his claws becoming bright like fine polished diamonds. Next, the aura wraps around his hands making bright emerald green fingerless gloves; then the black color energy forms a sleeveless, free flowing, matte black trench coat. With one final howl, the blue energy erupts filling the sky with a magnificent wave of different shades of blue. As he floats back down, Sonic sees his cousin's hands lit up with a see-through blue fire. "Now Sonic, do you think you are a match for me?"

The blue hedgehog gets a bigger smile on his face feeling what can only be his wolf's blood howling to the meet the challenge. He takes a deep breath before looking up at the full moon. Silverfang watches as Sonic's mouth moves and making out lines to a song.

This is my escape
I'm running through this world
And I'm not looking back
Cause I know I can go

Sonic's blue aura begins to glow as it rises into sky mixing with the moonlight creating a beautiful mixture white, light blue, shimmering blue, and black with blue sparkling diamonds.

Where no one's ever gone
And I'm not looking back

The hedgehog's aura continues to flow out filling the surround area. The aura starts to make a silhouette of Nico while its blue color quickly flashes to gold then turns back blue

But how will we know when we get there
And how will we know when to leave

Nico and Sonic's voice start to echo louder into the night sky and the werehog becomes a solid form as their aura become a mixture of gold and blue while start to hover in the air.

We've all gotta start from somewhere
And it's right there for me
The possibilities are never ending!

Sonic and Nico transform into their super form making their powerful aura explodes in all directions creating a mini sunrise. The two come floating down looking at their opponent. Shadowfang softly says, "Something feels completely different about them."

Kenna says, "You're right, what you are feeling now is his battle aura. When they transformed to sing earlier, they only did it so that they could perform together, but what Silverfang is about to face could be more than he realizes."

Sonic's crimson glowing red eyes looks into Silverfang's equally glowing ember eyes, and he says, "Since you mostly faced Nico in our earlier fight, it will be only fair that I get a crack at your ass."

The tribal wolf huffs saying, "I'll take you both on at once."

Sonic and Nico laugh until the super powered werehog says, "I doubt that you would be able to handle one of us let alone handle us both. It's only fair that Sonic get a shot at you. Besides, we wouldn't want our audience get short changed. After all, they all woke up and came all the way out here. Yes, I talking about you Kenna, grandma, our uncles and aunt, along Silverfang's friends." Nico turns to face the woods and continues with, "You all might as well come out and enjoy the show." Everyone named by the werehog comes walking out into the opening. Nico smirks looking at everyone, but his eyes catch the intense looks coming from the silver wolf's friends. "You can chill your fangs bros. I'm not fighting."

"What are you talking about? I plan on facing you both!" Silverfang protests.

Nico folds his arms while taking recline position as he floats off the ground. "Forget it! Sonic is your opponent. Now, if you can beat him; then you and I can dance."

"Well, you ready to do this?" Sonic questions while cracking his knuckles.

Silverfang huffs while squaring off with the now golden hedgehog. He flexes his claws making the blue fire burn brighter. In the blink of an eye, the transformed wolf dashes forward and punches Sonic in the jaw knocking the gold hedgehog off his feet. The warrior leaves no time for Sonic to react as he appears behind him and kicks his back sending him flying forward. Sonic's body acts like ragdoll while flying through the air. Sonic tries to moves, but his opponent mercilessly strikes the hedgehog making him rocket downward into the ground. Sonic's body hits the ground with a thunderous boom sending dirt up in all directions. Silverfang gracefully lands not too far away from the crash zone. He growls, "Oh come on! Do you think I'm so naïve that I wouldn't know you are in no way hurt by those attacks?! STAND UP AND FIGHT ME!"

Sonic snickers as he stands up with no issue while brushing off his clothes. "Sorry about that. I taught it would be only fair to let you get a few freebies in." Sonic finishes dusting himself off then gets into a fighting stance, "Now, my turn!" All but Nico and Kenna are shocked to see Sonic move faster than Silverfang in an eye blinding dash. The transformed hedgehog mirror's his cousin's opening attacks, yet on the final meteor smash, Sonic misses his target; and Silverfang is able to escape. The wolf breathes hard while staring up at the flying prince. "Hey, no fair! You moved! I taught you would let me get the same shots in!" Sonic huffs with some stream clouds puffing out.

The future tribe leader thinks, ~Nico wasn't just boasting; Sonic has the power the backup it up.~ He watches as Sonic hovers down to square off with him. A small smile creeps on to his face looking into Sonic's crimson eyes. ~I have only felt like this once when I was sparring with grandmother.~

"Hey couz," Sonic calls out pulling Silverfang from his inner recall. "Now that we got the cheap shots out of the way, you ready to throw down for real?"

"Yeah, I know what I'm facing now. Let's do this for real."

Silverfang is surprise to see as Sonic takes a knee while faced towards the moon; then he hears him saying, "Standing here on our great mother before the guardian of the night, we come here to display our might."

Shadowfang is shocked hearing Sonic. "Kenna," he states, "Who taught him those words?" She shrugs her shoulders with an equally puzzled expression. He looks at the lounging werehog then asks, "Do you know who taught you those words?"

Nico glances over for a second then back at Sonic and Silverfang, "Not a clue. A better question, what's the meaning behind what he is saying?"

The black wolf looks at his mother to see a smile on her face. He releases a quick exhale then answers, "It's the warrior's pray." He shouts out, "SON! YOU KNOW WHAT SONIC IS ASKING FOR!"

The teenage warrior looks at his father then back at Sonic, who is giving him an intense stare. He gives a throated growl, "BUT HE'S NOT EVEN A PUP YET!"

"YOU ASKED FOR THIS FIGHT! NOW YOU HAVE TO ACKNOWLEDGE HIS REQUEST! AS A WARRIOR WITH HONOR, YOU KNOW THE LAW!"

Silverfang gives another growl then huff looking at his kneeling opponent. He takes a knee looking up at the moon, as he listens to Sonic repeat, "Standing here on our great mother before the guardian of the night, we come here to display our might."

The transformed wolf continues with, "Though we come from one people of the moon, we now stand as foes with the will to be tested without fear or doom."

Sonic then states, "Grant us power for this fight, guide our fangs and claws with true sight."

"With this true sight, ensure that we don't extinguish our opponent's light."

Finally, Sonic and Silverfang stand up and face each other while saying in unison, "Now, my fellow warrior with this pray said and done, let us fight and learn who is the greater one!"

Sonic gives a quick shake of head as if breaking out of a trance. Nico easily picks up that action then says, "So that's how he knows that pray."

"What are you talking about Nico?" Kenna questions. The werehog only nods his head towards Sonic and Silverfang. Just as the two launch themselves at each other, Sonic moves faster then takes a sharp left flying over the water with the super powered wolf right on his tail. From the shore, it looks as the golden hedgehog has slowed down allowing Silverfang to catch up. Suddenly Sonic pulls a 180 coming headlong at the wolf. They each pull back their fists; then punch forward the second they are within range. The two fist connect and shot out a powerful shockwave. Sonic goes in for a straight punch, but the well trained wolf easily counters and returns the favor by aiming at his solar plexus. The golden hedgehog tries to deflect the blow, but Silverfang grabs his blocking hand and pulls him in making the punch hit deeper with a blue energy blast coming out Sonic's back.

The watchers gasp at the attack, but are equally shocked when a gold energy blast bursts from Silverfang's back. Once more to their surprise, the empowered wolf warrior is in clear pain as he hovers back a little back with both of his hands over his stomach while gasping for air. Sonic lifts his head up with a serious look on his face. Nico nods in approval feeling the rush to power flowing through them. Sonic rockets forward punching Silverfang in the jaw launching him higher into the sky, but the hedgehog prince gives his cousin little to no time to recover or comprehend what is happening before Sonic appears behind him then lays a super drop kick on the wolf's head. The warrior is sent careening down and slams into the water.

"No way!" one of the wolf's friends exclaims watching as the waves settle down in the lake.

Another one of his friends' states, "That speed is insane!"

"But what's with that power?" his third friend questions.

Kenna folds arms then glances at super-powered werehog and questions, "Don't you think he is overdoing it just a bit?"

"Nope, in fact, they are both still holding back. Right Unc?"

Shadowfang nods yes, "Sonic got lucky. Silverfang dropped his guard when he taught he did damage to Sonic." Everyone hears then sees the water start to churn before Silverfang rockets up coming face to face with Sonic once more. "This time, they both know that each other's guard will not be so easily lowered."

The empowered wolf stares at his opponent with a similar serious expression. In a flash, the two are up close and personal exchanging punches at blazing speed. A moment later they go ricocheting through the air with several shockwaves following in their wake. They move higher into the sky until the moon has become the background for their fight. In the shining moon light, the blue and gold aura are seen moving around at times crashing into each other with a massive shockwave as a result. Then the two colors would break apart only to go chasing after each other.

Earthfang and Flameclaw make their way over to Shadowfang and the others, and he says, "I think my kids and other warriors I'm training would benefit from a match like this."

The black wolf looks at his brother and replies, "I think this would be a little too much for them to handle; although, we may add it after they attain Xaural form. Plus, this will serve as a good lesson to know what happens when you overtax that form."

Kenna turns hers head to ask a question, but Flameclaw says first, "You're right, but Silverfang is so determine to prove a point that he's completely forgot. Oh well, it will still be a good show, and as an added bonus, we get to see the fruit from Spellfang's training."

Nico's eyes narrow listening to his uncles and aunt; then he looks up to see Sonic chasing after Silverfang. ~Hey bro!~

~I am little busy at that moment! Is it important?!~ Sonic replies as rockets ahead to cut off Silverfang and start another superfast paced melee fight.

~I don't know, but you may want to wrap this up. I don't think anyone is in danger, but I rather not run that risk. You feel me on this?~

Both fighter's fist connect setting off another shockwave pushing them away from each other. Instead of flying to start another chase, Sonic shouts out, "GET THIS STARLIGHT BLASTER!" The blue star sparking beam comes flying right at his wolf opponent, but Silverfang is able to dodge at the last moment.

Without missing a beat, the warrior fires a blue energy sphere back at Sonic. With great ease, he is able to avoid the attack. Suddenly, the two fighters switch from melee to energy blasts and attacks. The sky is brighten with the attack of energy blasts from the two. Flameclaw can't help but start feeling antsy with the urge to fight watching everything unfold. She finally says, "Hot damn! That hedgehog is putting on a great display! Makes me yarns to join in!" She looks to the left, "Hey Nico, you look like you're raring to go! How would you like to take on a seasoned warrior with full control of Xaural?"

"No way!" Shadowfang quickly answers.

Nico looks at his uncle then aunt and adds, "As much as, I would love to the do that; I wouldn't be a match for you. Plus, if you excuse me." Nico gets out of this reclined position and flies a little ways up drawing shouts from Silverfang's friends. They get ready to jump in, but golden werehog stops and hovers in the air with his arms folded.

"Kenna, what is his doing?" Earthfang questions.

The snow white she-wolf starches her head while saying, "I have no clue, but he not getting involved. So you guys over there can cool your jets!"

Sonic does a couple of midair backflip escaping another energy attack. The transformed hedgehog squares off with the super-powered wolf. As if reading each other minds, the two teenage fighters take unique stances while their power flares up to the point that the white light of the moon is a painted half gold and half blue. Everyone below is shocked by the display; then the air is filled with a shouting roar:

SUPER STARLIGHT BLASTER! MEGA AURA STORM!

The two unleash a monstrous beam of energy. The sunlight golden beam from Sonic rockets towards the shimmering midnight blue beam from Silverfang. When the beams smash into each other, the air all around the lake becomes strong gusts of wind equal to a category four hurricane. Kenna is forced to transform into her ancient form to save Silverfang's friends from being blown away by the gust. Emeraldfang and her children along with Nico are unaffected by the powerful winds. The light from the beams brighten the sky and surrounding areas. The two warriors shout at the top of their lungs as their beams fight for dominance moving back and forth with fearsome bursts erupting energy waves from the connected tips. Sonic can feel his superpowers waning, but he refuses to give in and wills more power into his beam pushing with all his might. On the other end, Silverfang struggles to keep control the energy from the xaural transformation, but he suddenly feels his super powers drop to an unmanageable level. To his horror, Silverfang's body transform back to normal simultaneously his mega aura storm quickly fades. Sonic, unknowingly, takes the chance to push the attack disbursing the reminder of his opponent's beam, but he quickly notices Silverfang has gone back to normal and his attack is on a direct path toward him. "Oh no!"

After the powerful winds come to a sudden stop, everyone sees the event unfolding above. Shadowfang quickly comments, "Not good!" He and Flameclaw quickly go into Xaural form, but they stopped by their mother as she commands them to let the situation unfold.

Silverfang sees Sonic's attack come straight at him, but he finds that it is not his lack of energy, yet his fear that stop him from transforming. In a flash, the teenage wolf is in his young five year old self in a past memory with death coming straight at him, but just at the last second a figure soars in deflects the object away with his shining sword in his right hand. As the figure turns around to face him, Silverfang recognizes the man by saying with tears in his eyes, "Skyfang!" Yet the memory quickly fades, and standing his place with a glowing golden sword in his right hand and heroic smile is Super Sonic. He looks up to see Super Nico holding on to him.

"Wow that was a close one," Sonic states.

"Yeah, but it goes to show our training wasn't a waste," Nico adds. "Hey, can you fly?"

Silverfang gives quick nod then goes back into xaural form. Sonic then asks, "Alright, shall we pick it up from where we left off?"

The wolf warrior shakes his head no then says, "I concede the battle to you, my brothers. You have proven beyond a doubt that you are of my family and sons of Skyfang." He then gives a graceful bow facing the normal color full moon and kneels while saying, "Now the fight done."

Sonic then takes a knee looking the moon, "And I am the one who has won."

Nico is also kneeling next to Silverfang, "No longer foes or enemies are we."

The three finish by saying it unison, "We're are one pack, one tribe, one family!" After they finish their pray, the three fly back down to meet with everyone.

Kenna swiftly changes back to normal then rushes over to Sonic. She whips out her golden long sword and uses the flat end to hit Sonic over the head while yelling at him for running off without her again. She then turns her attention Nico and gives him a few well-placed hits. Shadowfang and Earthfang lecture Silverfang about him misusing the xarual form. All the while, Emeraldfang happily watches the scene unfold then says to the sky, "Things are coming full circle my beloved Ventus."

Present…

Silverfang, Kenna, and Nico are going about their daily fighting motions for warrior's training alongside with the some of the young pups, seven to ten year olds. They are all lead by Earthfang, who walks around counting outload and watching their stances. He will only pause when his must correct a student's stance or discipline those who are not paying attention. With the early morning training complete, he says, "Good job everyone. Now, this will be the last week that Silverfang, Kenna, Sonic, and Nico will be training with you. You all have learned a great deal from them about many things, so as an award they have agreed to do a little one on one match with you. This not a win or lose battle, but a chance for you put some of your skills to the test. We'll start with Nico. Who would like to face him?" Nearly every pup in the room rise their hand even Kenna and Silverfang with evil smirks on their faces.

Before the brown wolf can pick, Emeraldfang enters the room then calls out, "I'm sorry to interrupt, but Nico I need to speak with you." All the pups give a collective 'aww' as the werehog heads over to meet with his grandmother. "Now! Now! That's not how future warriors should sound."

Earthfang quickly follows up, "Elder is right; warriors don't whine when they don't get their way. Kenna and Rainpup come to the center and prepare to battle."

Nico and Emeraldfang head out of the training dome and start to walk through the village. The green wolf asks, "How is your training and research coming along?"

"Pretty good so far, Sonic and I are having a ball learning wolf style fighting," he replies.

Emeraldfang smiles hearing his response, "Have you chosen your tribal name?"

"Sonic wants to the go with Wingfang and I like Lunafang. What do you think grandma?"

She gives a quick snicker then says, "That fits you, but until you finish the warrior's training you will be a pup, Lunapup."

"Ah come on grandma! We're too old to be a pup!" Nico whines

"Remember what Earthfang said, a warrior doesn't whine when you don't get your way," she states while laughing at him.

"Oh brother, you got jokes grandma. Anyway, what did you want to talk to me about?"

They walk into community center just as she gives the werehog a book explaining, "That belonged to your grandfather. He told me that it was recount of his life on Mobius." Nico start to quickly flip through the pages, but after a couple of minutes he shuts the book with an annoyed expression. "Something wrong."

"Grandpa is just like dad. They both love to encode their journals!" Nico exclaims.

They look at each other for a minute then burst out laughing. Few moments later, Kenna comes walking in rubbing her shoulder. "Lightningpup, how did training with the pups go?"

The female wolf looks at the two then says, "Those are not pups; they're monsters in training. Earthfang told me not hold back today same went for them. That kid nearly forced me to use my lightning powers to beat him." Emeraldfang and Nico laugh at her until the werehog's watch starts to vibrate. When he looks, he sees letters 'BRN' and a stern expression appears on his face. He stands up drawing the others attention. "Hey what's the matter?"

Nico puts on a fake smirk then voices, "Oh it nothing to worry about. Cortana has been keeping me updated on vital information. She just send me something Sonic and I were worry would pop up while we were gone."

"Well, let's hear the intel," Kenna states.

Nico shakes his head no, "Sorry, but this is classified level S." Kenna starts to object, but Nico quickly adds, "Don't worry, once Sonic and I have cleared this up, we'll have you read in. For now, I need to step away. Promise, we won't go too far. Chaos Control!"

Kenna sits down with an annoyed look on her face. "I take it that you are uneasy with Lunapup leaving the way he did," Emeraldfang inquires.

"Wouldn't you? I was charged by Queen Aleena to be his bodyguard and prevent the both of them from doing anything reckless or dangerous. So far, I have failed to do that multiple times. Everything from them running off to Earth early to last night's battle with Silverfang." She pulls legs up to her chest while her ears droop down. "The queen must see me as a complete failure."

"Lightningpup, one is only a failure when they give up. Without a doubt, Lunapup and Windpup are a massive handful just like Skyfang and his siblings. Ventus and I refuse to give up on them, as you must never give up on your duty. My grandsons are strong willed boys with the drive to help and protect others; however, when things come at them hard," she puts on her hand on Kenna's shoulder. "Warriors like you are who they will need the most at the right time, so keep your head held high. You are not a failure."

Nico appears on cliff side that has the village in background. He taps the watch face making Cortana appear. "What took you so long Nico?"

"I had to make sure to keep Kenna and the others were off my tail."

Nico weaves the required hand signs to make Sonic appear in his own body. "We don't have much time, so what is going on with Amy and Dedsec?"

Cortana explains what has unfolded since Nico, Sonic, and Kenna have left the city. It takes over thirty minutes to for the AI to explain the whole situation and the actions of each acting party. "That's everything, so what do you think?"

Sonic questions, "My first question, what the fuck is Shadow thinking? Doesn't he realize what his plan will cost if he fucks up?"

"That barely cover its! This whole circus, all points back to Charles Acorn and Rose Corp. Dedsec's plan is just as crazy. Both sides are risking not only the innocents but their selves as well. Plus, I doubt that Acorn will take the necessary precautions to safeguard life on either side," Nico states looking out at the village.

Sonic takes a deep inhale of the fresh forest smell then says, "Then we are left with one option, in order to protect Amy, safeguard both sides, save Leo's diner, and expose Acorn's involvement; we are going to have to get into the mix."

"You do realize what that means right bro? The second we get caught, we'll be in the jackpot and in a world of hurt. So we better come up with a good plan because I'm not putting my ass on the line for anyone," the werehog rebuts.

"Deal bro," the hedgehog replies. "Ok, so our first step is to get back to the city. After that, we can plan our next move."

Cortana states, "I can help with that."

Kenna, Silverfang, Emeraldfang, and her children all eating breakfast while the snow white taps her finger waiting until a flash of dark blue light appears in the center of the room. When the light fades, Nico stands in the center, but before the werehog can make a single move. Kenna is right up on him and says, "Prince Nico Werehog!"

Nico looks at the female wolf, "Yes, Kenna?"

She points her finger into his face then saying in a commanding tone, "Listen up from now on unless you are in bathroom, you and I will not be separated. Until Queen Aleena ends my assignment, you're not to leave my side. Understand?!"

Nico gives her a confused look then responses with, "Ok whatever you say, but we need to get packing."

Shadowfang quickly states, "Why the hurry? Is something wrong?"

"Nah, Cortana just told me that there is a great amount of work is stacking up in my office," Nico quickly explains.

"Hold on," Kenna calls out, "You are not about to tell me that message from Cortana was coded level S!"

"Are you kidding?! No, the level S was given with the message. Anyway, it's something Sonic and I have been working on for some time."

Silverfang adds, "That sucks Nico, and here we were just getting to know each other."

Emeraldfang and Shadowfang look at each other; then the black wolf says while looking back at his son, "Son, you better pack as well."

"Huh?" the three teenagers say in unison.

They all look at the chief as he continues with, "Son, you are at an age when you must venture outside the village to learn more about the world, and I can't think of a better place and time than with your cousins. Plus you can help Lunapup, Windpup, and Lighteningpup complete their training along with the rest of your cousins." He then looks at Nico, "What do you say Lunapup?"

"Pack up bro." Silverfang gives a confirming nod then follows behind Nico. An hour later, the three return to the meeting hall with their bags packed with everything they need. "Alright, we're all set." He turns to look at Shadowfang then says, "It's was great meeting you all, and finding out that we have family here is even better. Sonic and I can't wait until everyone else meets you all. Well, I'm in a bit of a time crunch, so we'll see you soon." They all wave goodbye then Nico takes hold of Kenna and Silverfang's hand, "Now witness the ultimate power of CHAOS CONTROL!" A flash of midnight blue light engulfs them then after the light fades they are gone.

Two hours have pass since the three teenagers left; Emeraldfang sits outside on a hill overlooking the whole valley with the village nicely tucked in the center. She enjoys the refreshing wind caring the scent of everything around blow pass her face. A wide smile appears on her face when she says, "It has been too long since you last visited."

"You're right mother. I think that I was what… two months pregnant with Shadow, Midna, and Silver."

Emeraldfang stands up then turns around to hug the three foot shorter purple hedgehog. "It is so good to see you again my daughter, Spellfang." After embracing each other and exchanging greetings, the two women sit down looking out at the valley. "So did something peek your interest?"

"I had a feeling that my sons would be make a rapid departure based on the current events going on in San Francisco."

"Does it have to do with the Rose?"

"I don't know, but I now I have to decide whether or not to allow them to do something. No that's not right, I should say whether I will support their actions or not."

Emeraldfang smells in change in the air then says, "The question you should ask is, will their actions be for the good of others? I remember telling Skyfang once, the pack will be there for you and let your heart be your guiding key to lead you down the path you feels is right. So, what does your heart tell you?"

Aleena puts her and hand over her heart while closing her eyes. "My heart tells me…"
