Author Notes:
Final Part of this three-part chapter. Enjoy!
Now you're probably thinking... It's not on the scheduled date. I decided to post two chapters before the 10th to make up for the short chapters.
Plus... I didn't want to keep you hanging for 10 days time waiting for Part 3. So here it is!
Disclaimer: I don't own Kim Possible or any other relevant stuff. KP is the property of the Walt Disney Company. My OC Characters are owned by me.

Paul was pacing through the woods. He was unaware that he was the last person not captured yet. Also unaware, that police are on there way to the campsite. He was trying to find an access point to the other campsites. Paul was starting to see the end of the trees and open space.
Paul relieved to reach the endless trees, but changes to a contempt expression, as seeing the river reaching back. Wasting his time going through the seemingly endless forest. "Oh come on! This river is endless!"
Paul knew that the only way to get to the other side, and go into the other camps, he would have to go through the main road. Without a functioning map, only coordinates. it would be merely impossible to find the other camps. Especially being here for the first time.
Paul backtracked were he started from, eventually after a few minutes he reached back to the main camp area.
He started to wander around calling out for the group.
"Kim?... Tara?... Mr Barkin?... Guys?... (Scoffs) Idiot, there are only girls out here. Girls?...Anyone?"
Silence. Complete utter silence
Only the small drift of wind can be heard, alongside all of natures creatures.
Paul looked around his vicinity. He slowly walks around.
He notices a tree with substance of green goo. He thought it was particularly weird to see that. Especially it was glowing, which made it even more stranger.
Was this entire camp abandoned due to the amount of toxic waste that's been hidden in the water and trees?
If so. EPA need to bring a whole crew to clean up.
He starts looking around to see if there's a trail of this goo.
He notices a trail of goo on the trees, soon enough the trail leads towards the ground. It goes for a few meters then it suddenly stops in the middle of nowhere on the ground. No where near a tree. Paul's heart quickens and throat tightens, he slowly raises his flashlight up and what he saw horrifies him.
He sees Mr Barkin and all of the girls tied up together hanging from the massive tree branch. All of them see the teen, begging for their lives, but it was reduced to a loud muffle sound, as their mouths were duct taped.
Paul drops his flashlight, almost breaking it in the process. He steps back.
"What the fuck... No." Paul says quietly.
All the girls were begging for their freedo.
Paul was now horrified and royally pissed off. "ALRIGHT! Enough is enough! Show yourself coward!"
"Oh wouldn't you like to know. Sqeeb!"
"Who's there! Identify yourself this instant!" Paul gets into his fighting stance.
"Oh Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie. Aren't you ever going to learn? Don't you remember me? Think Ronnie. THINK!"
"Unless I've fallen into a coma, I have no clue who you are. Now show yourself!... And who's Ronnie!"
"Fine! Be like that. But you're in for a shock."
...
..
.
Suddenly a large fish man comes out behind a tree, covered from head to toe in scales, much with sharp claws and bright red piercing eyes. The 'thing' was struggling to breath. Like a fish out of water. It was also glowing a bit.
"Remember me no- Wait a second. You're not Ronnie."
"Umm, I'm not too sure who this Ronnie character is." Paul says.
"Oh this is just grand. My old camp buddy isn't here to see me get revenge!"
"You went all through all this trouble to get revenge?" Paul says.
"ON RON STOPPABLE! I suffered! He made me like this! I grew gills on my neck because of him! It's his fault I'm like this."
Paul's eyes widen after hearing Ron's full name. This guy knew him and Ron apparently made him like this. There's obviously a perfectly good explanation for this.
"Dude. It ain't worth it. Ron's not even here." Paul says.
"But his friend/partner is here. Kim Possible. They are a team? No?"
"Ron is overseas man." Paul says.
"Oh, is that so?"
Paul nods.
"Blast! Well... I'm just going to take it on his friends instead!" The thing points his palm towards the captured group.
"NO!" Paul exclaims taking a few steps forward.
"Take another step forward and I'll squirt them with this goo. Once they get contaminated. Good luck getting these girls into future cheerleader competitions. They'll be crowned the mutant group award." The thing smiles evilly and the girls start panicking and almost into tears.
"... It was you all along. The tyres, jamming our telecommunications, the phoneline, the doors welded shut, the group disappearing. It was all you." Paul says realising the whole night was organised by one mutant fish. Who apparently used to be human... Knew Ron Stoppable as well! What a small world we live in.
"Ingenious if I do say so myself." The creature says with a dark smile, taking pride in his plan.
"But at what cost?"
The creature stops smiling.
"You wasted these poor girls Friday Night. Not to mention my teacher and myself. Frightening them, shook them to the bone. Giving them future nightmares which would last for weeks! Maybe months or years! Traumatised what they saw tonight. Heck I think you made up that cheerleaders competition to get us out here in the first place."
"Oh no. Nobody does this to Gill. Don't play the guilt card on me buddy!" The creature says pointing to Paul.
"Lives at risk. You could have burnt down a whole forest. If our teacher wasn't a good driver in heavy vehicles, we could have been wrapped around a tree tonight. Who would be blamed? A guy that wanted revenge for being turned into a mutant. I bet that water in that river turned you into this. Don't do this man. Science has advanced in technology so much. Ever since Chernobyl, they've cured people from that exposed reactor. They can fix you." Paul reassures, trying to make the creature feel guilty.
"SCIENCE MADE ME INTO THIS! The science camp dumped toxic waste into the river and Ron was supposed to swim in the river instead of me! The sqeeb instead swapped with me for Arts and crafts!"
"... So... technically... this is... your wrongdoing?" Paul says thinking carefully at who was responsible for turning Gill into a mutant.
"ARGHHH! Enough talk! Let's see how much you value the lives of these girls." The creature cuts the rope dropping the group onto the floor, thudding hard.
"Let's see..." Gill examines the girls.
All of them were looking at him in fear. Gill looks back at Paul to see which girl captured will break him. He goes towards Tara, but Paul doesn't show any expression. Gill goes past Bonnie, Paul does the same expression as before, probably a bit of a glare instead. She totally wasn't in his good books after tonight. Or ever again.
After a few seconds Gill goes around to Kim. Gill looks back and Paul tries his best to show no expression, but is starting to sweat a bit and to shake a bit.
"Bingo... This one will do!" Gill rips off Kim's duct tape around her mouth. Kim was still tied up by another rope around her hands.
"So this is the girl you're concerned about. Plus your Ron's friend. Oh goodie this should be exciting." Gill holds Kim, reading himself to apply muck on Kim.
"You don't wanna do that Gill." Paul says reaching a hand out.
"One more step and she'll become like me!" Gill threatens Paul.
"Do it Paul! He's all talk. He won't do anything to me." Kim says trying to get her hands and ankles out of the ropes.
"Watch me!"
"No! Don't do it man." Paul says pleading him to stop.
"She won't be looking pretty anymore. Say goodbye to your girlfriend."
"STOP! Don't do this to her! She doesn't deserve this. Take me man. Just let go of the girl." Paul says put his hands up in front of him
"Pathetic. Men always crumble at women." Gill threw Kim to the floor.
Gill approaches Paul. Who was still standing still with his hands to his sides. Gill is standing less than a metre away from the teen.
"Well looks like you aren't what I thought you'd be" Gill says staring up and down at the teen.
"Can't say the same for yourself." Paul replies back, as he put his hands behind his back.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"You should figure that out yourself." Paul says.
"Oooo and If I don't?"
"Let's say that... You forgot one thing." Paul says.
"What's that sqeeb?"
"This" Paul throws a punch to the big fish man, the hit was powerful. While Gill was distracted Paul quickly slipped on black gloves behind his back. The ones Kim gave to him as spares just in case. Today was the day. Plus if he touched him without using the gloves, he hands would be affected. Despite the creature moving a few steps back from the punch, he was still standing.
"You'll pay for that." Gill says charging at the teen throwing goo balls at him, but easily dodges them.
"Jesus. This guy is insane!" Paul says out loud.
"I'm just getting started." Gill smiles darkly.
"And I'm ending it." Paul says in his battle stance.
"Bring it."
The two try to hit each other. One with Gunk and one with his own fist. Both dodged everyone. Paul had to be cautious not to touch or be hit by the toxic goo.
Kim was struggling to get out of the ropes. As she was on the floor. She tried pulling on them.
Paul would have easily finished him. But avoiding Gill's goo was the main priority. He didn't want to become a mutant. Gill's only move was his gunk. He didn't seem that strong at all, despite his muscular appearance. Height was the only beneficiary for the creature. But it didn't matter to Paul. He's dealt with bigger guys back on his first mission. Or same sort of height... Come on man. Who has time to measure someone when they are busy attacking you!
Both are circling each other. Both throw a punch and dodge it.
"Give it up. You're a weakling." Gill says.
"Look stretch. Don't bother getting into my head. I've got enough material to study in my head as we speak!"
"Once I'm done with you, I'm going to turn everyone here into a mutant... nice and slowly. Making it painful and suffer as much as possible. Then when I'm done. I'm going to drag Ron wherever he's hiding at and drag his sorry ass to the lake and drown him!"
This agitated Paul. "No one drowns my buddy!" Paul throws multiple punches toward Gill some miss, but the one that connected were painful.
"Buddy? That makes me wanna hurt you even more." Gill shots more goo from his hands. Although he looks a bit weak. A bit dehydrated.
Gill continues to shot goo, Paul accidentally fumbles to the floor after continuous shots of goo. He was flat on his back.
"I've got you where I want you. Hold still."
Paul now with a sore back from that fall, sees a flashlight from the distance. He reaches it and switches it on.
"Eat heat sucker." Paul switches on the heat light mode of the flashlight.
"AHH... MY EYES... WATER..." Gill now distracted and really dehydrated.
Paul gets up and begins to punch down the vulnerable creature.
"I hope PETA isn't watching this." Paul says out loud.
Paul continues to throw punches both to the face and body. Soon enough Gill starts coughing and collapses to the floor, "Water..." He says weakly.
"What a waste." Paul says.
(Coughing) (Slightly Chuckling) Yo- you really think this is over... I'm Gil Moss! Born leader and survivor of nature."
"And I don't think I've introduced myself yet. I'm Paul Kanellopoulos... Nice guy. Experienced Boxer. First time traveller to America... Hate bad people. And you sir... fall under that category. Even using the word sir, is an insult." Paul approaches the creature and grabs his hands.
"You're under citizens arrest." Paul places zip ties around his wrists. The creature finally puts his head down on the floor, breathing radically.
Paul gets up and walks towards the group. Who witnessed the fight between Paul and Gill.
"PETA are going to put me in their wanted list, if they saw what I just did." Paul says jokingly as he walks up to Kim and unties the ropes behind her back and ankles. Freeing her hands and legs. He throws his gloves to the side. Hopefully in need for a radiation wash. He picks her up by her arms.
"Are you okay Kim?" He asks the redhead, holding her arms length away from him.
Kim was silent for the first few seconds, then...
She just hugs the teen and buries her head into his neck.
"Thank you. Thank you Paul. If you weren't here... I-I don't even want to think about what could have happened tonight." Kim says still hugging the teen.
"Be glad that you and the others are safe."
"I'm never taking you for granted ever again." Kim says being grateful for his bravery tonight. She smiles at him.
"Thanks Kim. As much as I love a good hug. We still need to untie the others."
Kim realises she was still hugging the teen. She lets go, "Sorry" She says sheepishly and is blushing.
"Don't be" Paul says.
"I actually enjoyed that hug. She's so cuddly!" Paul thinks.
"That hug felt amazing! I could feel his muscles! Arghh! Why am I still liking him!" Kim thinks.
Paul reached the others and begins to rip off the duct tape on Barkin and a few of the girls, while Kim does the remaining girls.
"Mr Barkin. You okay?" Paul says Barkin breathes a bit rapidly.
"Yeah.. Just need to catch my breath, that's all."
"It's alright. Flounder boy won't be harming you guys anytime soon."
Paul hears a noise. It sounded quite feint, but he could identify it. The noise was wailing sound in the distance. Sounds like a siren.
"Do you hear that guys?" Paul says developing a hopeful grin.
"Hear what?" Mr Barkin says confused, most of the others shrug and look at Paul in confusion at what he can hear.
The sound gets much clearer for Paul.
It sounded like a cop car.
Cop car!
Manny got his message!
"Cops!" Paul says grinning.
"Police? We're saved!" Tara says.
The others begin to cheer as both teens untie the ropes and gets everyone up from the ground.
"Manny you son of a bitch. You did it man! WOO!" Paul says to himself before celebrating.
Police arrive to the scene and soon after a decontamination team arrives to decontaminate the group and the campsite. Especially the wildlife environment and the river with the barrels of toxic waste. Apparently the river had the toxic waste inside, due to the science camp for illegal dumping of waste.
Hopefully the science camp would be fined for illegal dumping and they would easily afford the fine.
Unbelievably, no one was contaminated with toxic waste or Gill's goo.
Only the man or thing that was contaminated was captured and placed into a large fish bowl, being strolled away in a large trolley.
That thing is massive!
"Man I'm glad you guys come. Good thing we didn't get contaminated." Barkin thanked the police officers.
"Just doing our job sir, got a tip off from a young man saying trouble was brewing at this camp. That kid.. or thing right there. His name is Gil Moss. He has been missing for 8 years. His parents said they couldn't find him when they came to pick him up years ago. He's actually been declared dead for 1 year. This camp closed down 3 years ago, but the power and electricity has been running free for a few years. The other local camps wanted to buy the land and subdivide. The deal fell through for some reason." The officer says.
Gill now in a giant fish bowl squirms around trying to escape, still bruised from the hits gets rolled out of the camp area before stopping outside cabin 13.
"So Doctor Lurkin. You think Gill here will ever be normal again?" Kim says to the doctor.
"It's a tricky challenge but I'll do my best. I mean I'm not an expert in mutations. Rutabagas is my speciality."
"Are you sure you're qualified to handle this Doc?" Paul says getting up from the cabin 13 steps.
"As I said, I'll do my best to fully recover this previously young teen." Dr Lurkin reassures.
"Okay, but furthermore, I want to know everything about his progress. Reports. Behaviour and everything until he's capable of being back in the real world. Or he can spend time in jail." Paul says, not wanting this guy to go back into society anytime soon.
"I don't think that's good for his morality and rehabilitation." Dr. Lurkin points out.
"This man kidnapped almost a dozen people, threaten and tried to mutant them! He even almost caused arson! How is that not a criminal offence?" Paul says in disbelief.
"He isn't over 18."
Paul stares at him in disbelief. This guy was really getting away without a punishment.
"Just take him away Doc. I'm done with him." Paul says not happy about him getting a slap on the wrist.
"You just wait Paul! I will have my revenge! You and Ron! I will be back. Maybe Not tomorrow, or today... or yesterday, but some day!"
"Feeding time" Lurkin says getting a box of Granules and flakes.
"Ooo, food!" Gil says nibbling on the goldfish food, as the trolley gets taken away.
"Rutabagas? We're really trusting a guy who specialises in rutabagas! We're truly fucked." Paul says taking a seat on the cabin 13 steps with his hands on top of his head.
"Miss Possible. Nice work catching the mutant." Office Hobble says approving Kim's capture.
"Actually, Officer Hobble. It was all Paul that got us out of this jam." Kim says pointing to the teen.
Paul is sitting on the steps of cabin 13, on his now working smartphone after police unjammed the telecommunications signal.
"Hey. I remember you! You're that kid that knocked down those 3 fellas a few months back" Hobble points and smiles at Paul.
Paul looks up to see a familiar face, "Officer Hobble. I didn't except to see you here tonight."
"And I certainly didn't except to see you as well. I've been trying to find you for a while. I've got some good news for you! Those 3 fellas who almost jumped you a while back got sentenced for 36 months prison time. 24 months for good behaviour. They've been causing havoc around the state of Colorado for the past 6 months."
"Wait! Someone tried to rob you!" Kim says shocked at this new development.
"Are you serious! Why would someone want to do that?" Tara overhears the conversation, expressing her disbelief.
How could someone so bad, hurt someone so nice!
"These guys wanted my things. So I taught them a few things of my own." Paul says.
"Well consider yourself lucky not to spend the night in jail young man."
"Yes sir." Paul says
"But if Miss Possible says you helped her and the others. I think you're tonight's big hero."
"I couldn't agree more officer." Barkin says putting an hand of the police officer's shoulder, "Is my neck okay?" Barkin says extending his neck to check for any gills.
"It's fine sir." Paul says smiling.
"Well... in any case. Nice work Paul. You did great tonight cadet." Barkin says giving Paul a pat on the back.
All the other girls went up to Paul and thanked him. Some gave him a hug and high five. They all have gained further respect for the teen. Kim felt ping around her chest area when they did that.
The only girl that didn't thank him was Bonnie.
Instead she was a fair distance away from the teen. Bonnie had a nervous look when she faced Paul after every girl reached the front entrance of the camp. Paul looked back with an impassive facial expression. Still disappointed the fact how one girl can be such a major bi-
"Good news people. The police are gonna give us a lift home! Let's rock and load!" Barkin address the squad.
Paul wanted to correct Barkin about the term being 'lock and load', but couldn't be bothered. He was mentally drained and he had seen enough for one night. Paul got up from the stairs still staring at the brunette.
One day hopefully he'll understand her problem with other individuals.
Paul walks towards the front entrance and Officer Hobble walks side by side with him, "I don't get it. How come I couldn't find you in any system in the local town? I tried your surname. Nothing popped up."
"I'm not from here."
"Oh, I understand. What county or state are you originally from?"
Paul pauses for a few seconds before answering, "Australia."
"Really? Wow. That's why I couldn't find you. Now it makes sense."
They had to retrieve their bags from the bus as the cops used the jaws of life device to open up the bus door. As soon as the group got their stuff each partner went inside a cop car heading back towards Middleton.
Barkin and Kim were standing next to each other.
"Paul, Possible. You're travelling with myself and Officer Hobble here." Barkin says. Both adults get into the car. Kim talks to Paul before getting in.
"You've got a lot of explaining to do when we get back." Kim says recalling about Bonnie and how he almost got robbed... without telling her!
Paul looks at Kim with a straight face, "I know. I'm sorry. I promise I'll explain everything back at home."
Both jump into the police cruiser and head off back into town. The whole drive was silent all the way.
What a Friday night!
Author Notes:
- The surnames for most cheerleaders are never revealed in the show so I made my own ones up or used the voice actresses names. Tara's surname wasn't revealed on the show, but many fans strongly speculated that her last name was King.
Tara King
Jessica Simpson
Liz Peyton
Crystal Taylor Jordan
Hope Delisle
Marcella Valentina
- This 3-Chapter part is similar to 'Sink or Swim'. Obviously Ron is absent, so the plot changes and it occurs one year earlier, compared to the real life episode. As I mentioned. Some episodes from the original series will appear in this series.
- Chernobyl was a nuclear disaster that occurred on the 26th April 1986. As of 2021 it's considered the worst nuclear disaster in history in terms of cost and casualties. The area is currently inhabitable for 2000 years, but clean ups are still happening. The radius of the blast was so big, there's currently a 30KM exclusion zone set up.
- If you guys don't remember Manny, he's only appearance is from the first chapter. I don't wanna bring in too much of Paul's other OC Characters (Friends) in this story and try and use the Canon characters as much as I can instead. With a few OC Character Allies/Villians being introduced down the track.
- Argh! I know, I know. Fortnite is cringe... I couldn't think of a better game to use. I didn't even played it much.
Well I'm hoped you enjoyed this bonus chapter! Thanks for reading and take care!

You still here?

Okay great. Now that everyone's gone. When I have a short chapter to post let's say... less than 5k words or and ending part of a multiple chapter story, I will post it early. It's a bit long to wait 10 days to read one chapter, the wait is agonising. So from now on. Any small chapters I have, will be posted in-between the scheduled dates I have. So when I post on the 10th, if the next chapter is short, I'll post on the 15th and will still post a new chapter on the 20th. There's a reason why I posted on the 3rd... You'll understand soon. Until then. Keep pondering.
