Marcus entered the dining room, feeling a bit nervous. He had stayed in his room the day before, talking with Harry, Draco and the twins. Harry didn't explain much of what why he was at Malfoy Manor. But he already knew who Ophiuchus was. His father had talked of the young Dark Prince on multiple occasions. Marcus also had a few memories of his time with other children of the Death Eaters and the small babies he now remembered to be Draco and Ophiuchus.
"Marcus." Harry said with a knowing smile from his spot between Regulus Black and a newly back to human form, Sirius. The little brat could tell he was nervous and was bringing attention to him by addressing him. Well two could play that game.
"Philly." Marcus said with a smirk. His smile grew when he heard Draco snicker from his spot across from Harry. The green eyed boy glared at him before he realized Draco wasn't the only one who was snickering. Regulus was as really. He turned towards his dad and Regulus burst into laughter.
"I'm sorry son. You always complain that there is no nickname suitable for Ophiuchus, yet Marcus seems to have found a fitting one." Regulus replied as he ruffled up his son's hair. "And if I am not mistaken…. There had been another child who had called you that. Demanding Ophiuchus was too hard to pronounce despite his mother's protest to not be so rude."
Marcus looked up at the man in complete surprise. Regulus smiled sweetly at him. "Oh yes, I remember you. Your mother brought you to our place quite regularly. She was a dear friend and I was sorry to hear of her passing. But I must admit… your appearance has me a bit disturbed. You don't resemble that little boy at all. I wouldn't have recognized you if you hadn't called my son Philly."
Marcus was unsure of how to respond to that. There were no photos of himself before he had started Hogwarts. And his father did not allow mirrors in his room. He hadn't even known what he had truly looked like till he walked into the bathrooms in his dorm. He had spent hours in front of the mirror and cried. Tom, who had read the boy's surface thoughts, felt his temper flare. How dare this boy's father put the boy through this. He was tempted to go down to his dungeon and take out his frustrations on the man.
Instead he raised an eyebrow and looked at his husband. "I do believe Mr. Flint would benefit from those photo albums you deem necessary to keep back then."
Regulus looked up with fire in his eyes at the stab, but when he saw his husband wink, he realized what he was saying. Those photo albums were full of photos of Harry's life before he had been kidnapped. That meant there was a good chance that there were photos of the boy and possibly his mother.
"You may be right, love. I'll check them later today. There may be some that Harry would like to see as well." Regulus said then looked over at his brother over his son's shoulder. "You know Sirius, now that I have seen you in your animagus form… I must thank you."
Sirius blushed as Lupin looked between the two with a raised eyebrow. Sirius cleared his throat. "Back at Hogwarts… after I had moved out… I heard that Regulus was being bullied… I changed into Padfoot and became his sort of guard dog."
Lupin snickered and patted Sirius's leg. "We knew. It was kind of hard to miss the big black dog tagging behind Regulus and Severus."
Regulus snickered. "Is that how you found your way into his bed? You thought you were coming to check on me?"
Severus snorted. "I do believe he found his way to me, knowing it would piss off a certain wolf. Too bad they both had the same thoughts."
Harry and Draco gagged which caused most of the room to start laughing. Marcus just watched the interactions between the people around him in a new fascination. He could tell that Tom and Regulus were very much in love by the not so subtle looks they sent towards each other. They also loved their son as they watched him fondly. Sirius Black and Professor Lupin seemed to be an item as they easily shared little touches here and there. What surprised him the most was Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy. They seemed fond of each other. But more of a close friendship than a married couple. The looks Lucius would send Charlie Weasley confirmed that there were no romantic feelings between the Malfoy parents. He did notice that Bill and Narcissa didn't seem attached to any one at the table. Severus on the other hand was hard to pinpoint. With what was just exposed, he figured there was some sort of triad going on between Severus, Sirius and Lupin. But there were no lingering looks or flirtatious smiles sent between the three. No there had been fun during Hogwarts but it never went past that. Marcus was starting to wonder what kind of alternate universe he had stumbled into.
"Mr Flint… I do hate to bring this up so early in the morning… but we must determine what is to be done with your father." Tom said, catching the boy by surprise.
"Honestly sir, that man is no longer my father." Marcus said with a shrug of his shoulders. "He hasn't been the same man for many years."
Tom sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I must admit I was afraid of that. If I had realized how bad the man's mind had slipped… I would have never left you in his care. What I must know is what you would like done to him."
Marcus tensed and looked up at the man many people had feared. Yet all he saw in the man was concern. "He shouldn't have to suffer any longer."
Tom watched the young man for a moment then nodded. "I do want to know what kind of… training… the man thought it appropriate to put you through. I will not make you relive those memories unless the man can not give me the answers I seek. But then I will do as you request. He won't suffer any longer."
Marcus looked back down at his plate. "Thank you sir."
"Tom." Marcus looked back up with a confused look on his face and Tom smirked back at him. "We are all family here. There is no need for formalities. And I have a feeling you shall be around for quite some time."
Tom sent a knowing look down at his son, who hadn't seem to be paying attention to the conversation going on as he simply ate his breakfast. Marcus blushed and turned his attention back to his plate.

"How is that even fair!" Draco growled. As he crossed his arms and glared over at the Weasleys and Harry. They had been trying to figure out how to split teams for a game of quidditch. Some how they decided Gryffindors vs. Slytherins was a good idea.
"That would make it five against two." Draco said with a huff.
"Three against four." Harry corrected. Every one turned to him with raised eyebrows. Harry shrugged. "I would have been placed in Slytherin if I hadn't argued with the damn hat."
Draco's face lit with glee. "Oh, our odds just got loads better."
Bill smiled and patted Charlie on the shoulder. "You always did say you wanted a seekers game against the youngest seeker in a decade."
Charlie winked over at Harry. "Your on baby brother."
Harry smiled wickedly as he went to stand next to his soul brother. "Oh this is going to be fun."
Marcus snickered and crossed his arms across his chest. "I promise to go easy on you all."
The twins and Charlie shuttered knowing exactly how brutal the Slytherin could be. They had all been on the opposite side of his more… unsportsmanlike tendency. Bill on the other hand snickered. He had heard all about Marcus and his playing style. But Marcus never got to play against all four of the Weasleys. They were known to play a little rougher off school grounds.
"No blood or broken bones." Severus said as he pinched the bridge of his nose. He wasn't even sure how he had gotten roped into being the referee… no he knew exactly how he had gotten roped into this… and the reason being two bratty godsons. One with cunning words and the other with big puppy dog eyes. The rest of the family were all sitting around the pitch to watch the prompto match.
Severus set the rules as the players mounted their brooms. Making sure to send Marcus an obvious threatening looks. Letting him know that he wouldn't let most of his tactics slide here. Marcus just smirked back. Severus sighed heavily and threw the quaffle up into the air, beginning the game. At once Severus was regretting his choices once again. None of the boys seemed to be playing by the rules. Marcus had nearly taken off Charlie's head when he had flown too close to the Slytherin. Fred and George squashed Draco between them and the blonde was only saved when Harry had swooped down in front of them making them have to pull up on their brooms. By the time Marcus got the first goal of the game, there were already a couple black eyes, a blood nose and lots of scraps and bumps. It didn't help that the other adults seemed highly amused by the game and cheered on from their chairs. The cheers increased when Charlie and Harry soon started to dive for the snitch. Severus held his breath, knowing that Harry would pull some dangerous stunt and would be pushed to go further with Charlie egging him on. Sure enough the both pulled out of the dive just before they smashed into the ground. Harry bumped hard into Charlie and stretched out his hand, wrapping around the snitch. A bludger came out of nowhere, coming close to Harry, but instead of Harry, it hit a large blur. Everyone gasped as the blur hit the ground hard and rolled to a stop a few feet from Harry. At once, Harry came to a stop and rushed over to the older boy.
"Bill!" Harry called out as he landed next to his eldest brother. He heard the boy on the ground chuckle as he rolled over and smiled up at the young boy.
"No worries, Little brother. Just knocked the air out of me." Bill said. He was soon assaulted by the fists of Harry. The little brat was stronger than he had expected. He laughed and guarded his face as Harry kept hitting him and berating him for being an "idiotic, over protective big brother."
Two large arms pulled Harry away and Harry instantly stopped with a defiant huff. "Don't be too hard on him. He wasn't the only one racing to protect you. He just got there first."
"I am not a damned damsel in distress." Harry pouted.
"Merlin, I'd hope not. You would look hideous in a dress." Draco said as he hovered a few feet above Harry.
"They know you aren't weak and that you can take care of yourself." Marcus said with a shrug. "But from what I've seen from my short amount of time here… they're protective because no one was before. You don't have to do things alone now. They'll always have your back."
"You know…." Fred said as he set down next to Marcus and George landed on his other side.
"I believe that is the most…" George went on.
"Any one has heard you talk." They finished together.
Draco snorted. "Obviously you weren't Slytherins. His tongue lashings were about as bad as Uncle Sevs."
Harry wrinkled his nose and stepped out of Marcus's arms, knowing the adults were watching them closely. "You always talked to me."
Charlie patted Harry on the shoulder and shook his head as he winked at Marcus. "Oh the oblivious mind this boy possesses. It nearly hurts my head at times."
The Weasley's and Draco snickered as they all started to walk away. Harry turned and looked up at Marcus with a confused look on his face. Marcus just smiled and shook his head. "You will figure it out eventually. I'm not ruining their fun."

Harry was sitting once again in the library in what seemed to be a cuddle puddle. All the younger members of his family seemed to have all migrated to the middle of the library. All with arms full of pillows and blankets. The twins had some how heard that Harry had never built a blanket fort and set out to correct that fact. Now Bill, Charlie, Fred, George, Draco, Harry and Marcus were piled under the blanket fort. All cuddled together with pillows for comfort. He had to admit… it somehow brought him more comfort than he had expected. Each one of them had grabbed a book to read, some of the choices had surprised Harry. But with the book in his hands… he wasn't one to judge.
"Hey, Fred and George… How are you guys here?" Harry asked as he sat up abruptly and knocked the book from Marcus's hands. Draco on the other hand had seemed to since his brother was going to move and gracefully sat up with the other boy. "Oh Sorry Marcus."
"It's ok Philly. With you using me as a pillow, I was lucky you had only knocked away my book." Marcus said with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.
"I told Mom we were taking them on a work internship with gringotts." Bill said with a smirk. "To show them the more appropriate jobs for respectable families."
Draco tried and failed to hold back a snort. "I'm sorry. But does she honestly think the Weasley name is respectable? Not with the way Dumbledork has tainted the name."
"What does that mean or little blonde one?" Fred asked with a slight warning to his tone. But it wasn't Draco who answered. But a voice coming from above their little fort.
"The Weasley's haven't always been a light family. Neither were the Prewitts." Harry threw the top blanket off to allow Tom, Regulus and Lucius to see the younger wizards. Tom smirked down at the shocked Weasley boys. "The Weasleys had always been a respected Gray family. The Prewitt family were strictly dark. And until your mother, still had been. The Weasley's did not care about light or dark. They had married into both over several generations. I was quite upset to hear that your grandfather had let his title go and took the side of the goat. It hurt me even more to see what had become of the Prewitt family. They had been prominently dark till they turned to Dumbledork."
The Weasleys were completely stunned. But it was Marcus who ended up breaking the silence. "Is that the reason for the hostility between the Malfoy and Weasley family."
Lucius cringed and looked away. "The Weasley's had a marriage contract with the last girl to have been born in the Malfoy line. The contract was ignored by the Weasleys due to Dumblefuck's influences. Saying the contract was barbaric and it would be better if they married into a light family. With the contract still in affect… the Malfoy girl could not marry another. It was something her father had overlooked. Aldo believing that the Weasley's had made the contract void. They had not… the moment the girl had married another… the contract magic took effect… she did not make it."
"We never knew…" Charlie said going a little pale. "We had always been told that it had been because of lost property. That the Malfoys are the reason we lost the fortune."
Lucius scoffed. "I wouldn't be surprised if the fortune is just sitting in a fault, untouched, because only a lord and his heirs will be able to access it. A lot of the old pureblood families have that stipulation."
Bill sat up at once. "Could the title still be claimed? When our parents find out that we are not loyal to the old goat, I wouldn't put it past them to try and disown us. Charlie and I already have decent jobs… but the twins…"
Regulus smiled. "We would never allow any of you to go nameless."
"If I remember correctly… Arthur has already dismissed his rights to the title… leaving open to any one of his children to take." Lucius said with a smirk.
The twins groaned. "Ron."
"I can see him trying to claim the Lordship just to show the rest of you up. His jealousy knows no bounds." Harry said with a roll of his eyes. "What he saw in the Mirror of Erised was him outshining all his brothers. Being head boy and quidditch captain."
Bill shook his head and looked over at Charlie. "Maybe it would be wise to take back the title. I am planning to move back anyway, after this year."
"If you are sure you want to take on the title… I will be more than happy to assist you." Lucius said then shyly glanced over at Harry. "Sirius has also dismissed his rights to the Black lordship. Leaving his heir the right to claim it."
"I am guessing that I am said heir?" Harry said as he looked between Regulus and Lucius. Both men nodded.
"Narcissa and I would like to separate. But there is a bit of a snag… Something my father had been more than happy to add." Lucius said with a heavy sigh. "Our marriage contract can only be broken by a Black Lord."
Harry shrugged. "Ok… well what does this lordship entail? How do I break the contract?"
Lucius looked at the boy stunned and Harry smiled at him. "You two have opened your home to us. You helped me escape and helped me find my real family. I'm more than willing to help you and Narcissa."
Draco smiled proudly at his soul brother and gave him a quick hug. "I don't think you realize what you have done for them. Dad had been forced into the marriage contract. Even when his father knew he was not attracted to women. Mom wanted to help, knowing she couldn't marry the man she loved. Freeing them from the contract would mean they are able to finally be with who they want."
Harry smiled and looked back towards his fathers. "So what do I have to do?"
"You won't be able to take the lordship till you become of age… or become imancipated at fifteen. But we can teach you what you need to know before that."
"So by next year…" Harry said with a mischievous smirk. "Wouldn't that chap the old goat."

Tom entered the dungeon prison and shook his head at the crazed man sitting up against the wall. Aries was clearly still out of his mind. He had the horrible feeling that he would not be able to get answers from the man.
"My lord!" Aries said as he noticed who had entered his cell. He threw himself at Tom's feet and started to kiss his shoes. "I knew you would return. Did Marcus please you my lord. He is my greatest work."
Tom hid his disgust with the man and leaned down to run his hands into the man's hair. He tugged a bit roughly to make the man look up at him. "What have you been upto while I have been gone Aries?"
Tom quickly entered the man's mind. He wasn't surprised by the jumbled memories. They flashed quickly passed causing Tom to have to use more force to slow the memories down. What he wasn't expecting was to find a memory of Azkaban.
Tom pulled forcefully from Aries's mind with an animalistic growl. He stumbled back a few steps before grabbing his footing.
"Tom… what did you see?" Regulus asked as he reached out for his husband. Tom batted his hand away and plunged back into the man's mind.
Walking down the darkened halls. Prison bars on either side of the walls and wails of people crying out that they were innocent. Or demanding Aries was a Traitor. But the crazed man didnt seem to be listening as he kept walking. He paused only for a second as a large black dog growled at him from a cell to his left. The man chuckled and sent a stinging jinx at the dog and kept moving. Down the hall he went till he made it to the last cell. The cells that where barely visited by the dementors due to them getting their fill of the prisoners before them. And there in the very last cell… was a stag. Standing proud even with his antlers broken. Aries laughed and smiled at the stag.
"How does it feel to know you have fallen? You must be so proud of yourself. Kidnapping the Prince. What did you do to him? Where is Ophiuchus!"
The stag just shook his head and turned his back to Aries.
"Don't turn your back on me! I know that mutt is in here too! I can easily get answers from him. Since he betrayed you." Aries said and watched the stag tense. "Or should I go after that son of yours? He couldn't honestly survive the killing curse twice."
Aries was pulled into the bars and slammed hard by a bony hand. Aries smirked as he looked up into the angry brown eyes of James Potter.
"You touch a hair on that child's head and you will regret it." James growled. "You think you were in such good graces of your lord… yet you know nothing. The biggest one being that Sirius was not our secret keeper. You had a Traitor amongst you and that Traitor is the reason Tom is gone. Do not blame the innocent. That child was nothing but a pawn in a game he had no right being placed in. You want into your Lord's good graces. Save the child. Or don't. Why would you believe a man who is supposed to be dead? How did you even know I was here?"
Aries smiled. "My Lord told me before he went after you. That if something happened to him, you would be here. That I should take care of the loose ends."
James let out a bitter laugh. "You really are an imbecile. Tom wouldn't divulge such information to one of his lowlings. You have been set up to finish the work of the Light. Go ahead. Kill me. But know that when he finds out… he will kill you."
Aries pulled out of James's grip and sneered. "My Lord wouldn't kill me for such a pathetic child as yourself."
"I wasn't talking about Tom." James said with a wild smile.
Tom pulled forcefully out of Aries's mind once more and turned to his husband. "James knew that Harry was our son."
An: I am still not very happy with how this story is turning so far. But I do not want to just abandon it. What I mean by this, is that my writing seems to have become choppy. Plans that I had to draw out later in the story, seem to have wanted to come out sooner than later. I do hope you enjoy what has come of this story so far. Let's hope I can get more time to write. That way I can move this story along a bit better. I still have no beta. I am writing these chapters on my break at work. Also writing on my phone. So be warned. And I apologize again if it is rough. I have not edited anything. So read at your own risk.
