After almost 30 minutes on the road, Paul and Kim get dropped off outside of Paul's house. The teen thought it would be a good place to explain everything that Kim has missed out in the past month.

"Thanks for the ride Officer Hobble." Both Kim and Paul said.

"No problem kids. Stay out of trouble." Officer Hubble says to both teens as he tips his cap.

"See you on Monday Paul and Possible." Barkin say from the passenger seat.

Both farewell the two older adults and both Kim and Paul head towards the houses steps. Kim takes a seat first on the concrete steps with her arms crossed. She wasn't happy that Paul kept a secret from her... Well. Two secrets actually.

Firstly, Paul didn't want her knowing about the cafeteria incident. Secondly, Paul almost getting mugged telling no one about it, except the officer who came that night and arrested the 3 men. The second secret making Kim the angriest, why Paul didn't tell her in the first place. He was going to eventually tell her about the cafeteria incident and now seemed like the right time. The other secret he didn't even want to talk about. It was a scary moment that most people never wish to ever experience.

"We're here now. I guess I should start from the beginning." Paul says taking a seat.

"Actually I want to hear about the Bonnie incident first."

Paul pauses before he takes a deep breath and begins speaking.

"Last week, when you went on a mission during school, Bonnie was being her usual self, putting down some people from the other groups within our school. And need I remind you... This was all for a table in the cafeteria. So I stood up against her. And her boyfriend, which I didn't know at the time. Told me to move along and not to bother her. I called Bonnie something unmentionable and he punched me for what I said."

Kim was shocked to hear that Brick hit Paul.

"He hit me and I retaliated by punching him into a pulp, before I took the initiative and broke his rib." Paul says.

"So that's why Brick hasn't been at school lately." Kim says, realising she hasn't seen the blonde jock in recent days.

"Exactly. Then I took out one-third of the football team because I had beaten up Brick."

"What! How? They're like 2 times your size."

"Strength, technique and experience over showing up with bigger muscles. Size doesn't matter. It's how you use it Kim."

Kim was worried if they pulverised him. But he looked to be completely unharmed.

"Did they hit you?" Kim asks

"Not a single scratch Kim. Brick gave a cheap shot though."

"Thank goodness" Kim gave a sigh of relief. She didn't want her friend to get hurt.

"Don't worry Kim. I can defend myself pretty well."

"That's good to know. Maybe one day we can have a sparring session. Not to kill each other I mean." Kim reassures.

"Yeah. Maybe it will be good experience if you ever decide to let me out onto the field again." Paul says with a hopeful tone.

Kim remembered Paul's bravery tonight within the camp. He showed all the right qualities to be her partner.

"I'll talk to you about that. After you tell me about the night you nearly got mugged." Kim says not entirely happy, for him not telling her about it before.

Paul was silent, but he began to speak, "It was the night I bumped into you on the street. The day before we hanged out together on that Saturday months ago. Like my second week here in America."

"It happened on that night?" Kim says surprised.

"Yep." Paul says simply, "So I was walking home after being in town, then a guy asked me where I was heading off to and I brushed him off. Then suddenly two of his pals appeared from nearby. One of them pulled a knife out and I broke his arm, ripped it out of the socket. The other two were a cake walk. They fell like bricks within a few seconds, especially the big guy. Never stood a chance when I distracted him. Then I called 911 and came within about 10 minutes. Then they took them off to jail. Two were concussed and the one with the knife. The leader was royally pissed." Paul explains the entire even from the night and the mega stare down he had. He looked liked he wanted vengeance very badly.

Kim took a few seconds to digest all this new information. She couldn't believe that Paul was almost stabbed, just for his personal belongings! And she didn't know about it until now! She was amazed how Paul came out unscathed from all of this. But all of his encounters against bad people, he's responses are very violent when he retaliates.

He was definitely knocking on the door to be part of Team Possible, due to his boxing and self defence skills. The 3 thugs, Drakken, his henchman, Shego and the creature from tonight. Everyone Paul has faced was beaten by the teenager... all by himself.

Was he really qualified to be Kim's next partner?

Absolutely yes!

Was he going to do this full-time or from time to time?

Only time will tell.

Will Kim fall for him?

May-

"It's a lot to take in. I know, I'm sorry for keeping this a secret for so long." Paul says rubbing his neck, feeling a bit awkward about the talk he's having with Kim right now.

Kim snaps back to reality thinking about Paul's incident and the events from tonight.

She's seen enough in the past week to realise he was perfect addition for her team. But will it last?

But was he serious about going long-term with her missions? I mean, it's only for a few years and poof... he's back home. Kim would be facing her bad guys once again solo. And she knew how that went for the past month.

In fact...She already decided a while ago.

She grinned, "Apology accepted. I wish you told me sooner. I know meeting Ron and Wade was a random fluke... In fact. It was more than a one in trillion chance of meeting them both without me telling you about them. That's some unbelievable luck if you ask me."

"Small world isn't it." Paul says smiling, also being thankful that Kim accepted his apology.

"It is." Kim says as she starts staring at the night sky. As Kim is staring at the sky. Paul watches. He continues to stare at her. The moonlight was shinning on the teenagers ruddy skin. Making her glow from the reflection of the moon. She looked really beautiful under the moonlight. Paul then stares at the sky too. It was a really beautiful night. A good way to end after a horrid few hours back at Camp Wannaweep.

Paul decided to break the ice after a minute of watching the night sky.

"You want me to walk you home? Or... Do you want to come inside? You hungry at all?" Paul asks the teen.

"Y-yeah. I can come inside for a bit. I'm starving after that ordeal. You cook?" Kim was a bit nervous to be alone inside a house with Paul. If her father knew about this. Paul would be a dead man.

But the guy has already meet her father!

"Only the basics. I can order something if you want?" Paul says.

"Sure." Kim says grinning.

"Great. We can continuing the conversation inside."

Paul stood up and turned around to open up the door to his temporary home in America. Kim was impressed by the interior design of the home. Paul bought multiple household items for his home. He was all alone and he could follow his own rules. It looked quite clean. Not spotless clean. But pretty good for a male.

"Wow. Nice house." Kim admires the design of the home.

"Thanks. It's not mine." Paul says.

"I know." Kim says.

Both head towards the kitchen. Paul boils some water for the kettle.

"Would you like tea or Hot cocoa?"

"Hot cocoa please and thank you."

"Sure thing." Paul says as he prepares to make his own drink and making Kim's drink as well. After a short time Paul brings Kim her drink of hot cocoa and he himself has prepared some hot tea.

"Here you go. This will warm you up." Paul places a mug in front of Kim.

"Thanks." Kim says taking her drink.

"Would you like any whipped cream?" Paul says holding out the can.

"Please and thank you."

Paul shakes the can and places some on her drink. He takes a seat opposite her. Both of them were quiet and taking small sips of their drinks.

"I got you some marshmallows as well. Is it Good?" Paul says as he puts the bag of marshmallows on the table.

"It's great. Thanks Paul." Kim says popping a marshmallow into her mouth.

"You're welcome. I'll order a pizza, if that's okay with you." He said with a smile.

"Whatever's fine. Thanks." Kim says as Paul orders the Pizza online via his mobile phone. He finishes ordering the pizza and it would arrive within less than half an hour. He pockets his phone.

God bless Uber Eats!

Both stared at each other for a few a bit. Both were quiet.

"I-" Both say at the same time and chuckle.

"You first." Paul says.

"I wanted to tell you about... the future of Team Possible." Kim says.

Paul perks up from hearing this.

"I think I've seen enough to see you're more than qualified to come alongside missions with me... What I'm trying to say is... Paul. Do you want to be my partner? For missions of course." Kim says reassuring no confusion with the teen.

Paul couldn't believe it.

Kim finally accepted him to be part of her team!

Ohh Wade is going to love this!

"Kim. I'd be honoured to join alongside you and Wade." Paul says smiling and now excited.

"Awesome! But there's a few things I want to go through with you first."

"Sure." Paul says taking a sip of his tea.

"Rule number 1. I call the shots." Kim says.

"Seems fair since you started this enterprise of crime fighting."

Paul really wanted to question about making decisions as a team, but doesn't want to ruin any chances of Kim changing her mind.

"Rule number 2. We need to be open and honest with each other. No secrets."

"Hopefully that applies to you too." Paul says.

"Of course. I'll keep my end of the deal up too. Third and final rule. Please don't try and be a loose cannon." Kim says, after she saw Paul what he did when he took down those two guards.

"Gotcha. But you need to act fast to get these villains from preventing danger towards peoples lives when their plans go far. Better to act and let them get away in the end."

Kim was a bit insulted by his last sentence.

"Are you questioning my methods and planning?" Kim says with a bit of a tone. A hands on hips moment.

Paul was taken back by Kim's tone.

'Damn I shouldn't have said that! Now she's probably going to change her mind.' Paul thinks.

"Whoa! I didn't mean it like that. All I'm saying is that, we need basic course of action. Logical thinking on the spot. We need to ensure they don't get away easily."

Paul had a valid point. But Kim liked doing it her way. She didn't want an amateur giving her advice, compared to someone who's been doing this for a few years now.

"Look, we just go on the mission. Plan it out, Wade gives us the mission, information, assistance and gadgets, then we deal with them. Nothing more. No extra planning or procedures involved. No basic course of action. Okay?"

"Alright then. Your call Kim." Paul says putting his hands up gesturing it won't be him to blame if something goes wrong.

"Okay. So... do we have a deal." Kim extends her hand out

Paul grabs it and shakes it.

"Deal. Do you think I can get one of those devices, but in a watch version to match my Apple watch?" Paul asks.

"You're going to have to talk to Wade about that." Kim says immediately.

Come to think of it. Kim thought that was a good innovation idea for her device. It is quite bulky. Same weight as an iPad, slightly bigger than an iPhone Max but thicker.

"Well knowing Wade and I. We get along well. Plus who can't resist a pay check to get one done." Paul says.

Kim playfully rolls her eyes and giggles a bit, "Fine. He might able to do one for you." Kim says.

Paul gives a small 'yes' to himself, excited about the future adventures that will happen.

He's already been once on a mission, it was time to start a new journey.

At the Rockwaller Residence

Bonnie unlocked the door of her house. She came home in a cop car. Sounds pretty bad when you put it like that.

She went inside carefully, ensuring no one was around. Looks like everybody was sleeping. It was past 11PM. She maybe thought someone would have been up, considering it's a Friday Night.

Tonight was the night she received another helping from the foreign teen. Second time in two weeks he has told her off. But this one was even worse. She pushed it too far and he gave it to her.

She quickly went upstairs to her bedroom, closing and locking the door behind her before letting a quite long sigh out, leaning against the door as she slides against it until she's completely sitting down on the floor.

Bonnie always loved others suffering. Watching them suffer, putting them down or laughing on their blemishes. But she now has been thinking about something for the past few hours. She tried to shake off that thing in her mind, but the guilt is biting her.

'What's wrong with me? Why do I feel guilty all of a sudden!' Bonnie thinks to herself.

Not to mention the other problems she has in her personal life. Her father for one. He was always telling Bonnie to always be strong, proud and not to take any shit from others around her. He wasn't the best influence of a father either. Her older sisters, Connie and Lonnie, belittling her and mocking her at every given possible moment.

She was sick of it. She had to release all of this abuse somewhere. Thankfully she was strong enough to cope with it. But it also meant that she released her bottled up abuse at school.

But she was yelled at some certain teenager that wasn't even from here!

How dare he tell her off she thought...

But. Deep down... he had a point. She was acting like a bitch. He even said that if she keeps this up, no one would want to be around her as her friends. She'll be like a bad smell that no one wants to be around. She was trying to become a Queen bee.

But how on the hell did he almost guessed that she was having problems within her household.

He's right. People don't act like this unless something or someone triggers it. It was the nature versus nurture theory coming into play. How she grew up, how she was taught by her family and what she learns reflects towards her life.

He mentioned her friends, family and even her childhood...

She felt guilt written all over her, but there was still a demon brewing around in Bonnie.

And a few close individuals were making it happen. She wishes she could tell her close friend Tara about this, but she didn't want to tell her. She doesn't know how she'll react.

But bottling up isn't a good idea either.

She really wanted to open up to someone.

Bonnie was getting frustrated over this and decided to throw the nearest available item and throw it at her bookshelf. One item from the very top shelf fell. Alongside some dust.

Some of the dust hits her face and begins to cough.

She clears the dust off her and picks up the fallen object from the ground...

It was a teddy bear. One of her old precious childhood toys. She dusts it off.

It must of been years since she's seen it.

Bonnie stares at the bear, she sees her reflection within the bear's black glass eyes.

She gets a slight flashback of her younger self laughing, spinning around with her bear. Remembering all the good times with her bear. Even seeing a younger version Tara at her house.

If she wasn't crying now. She definitely was crying at that memory.

She hugs her old childhood toy and her eyes start to tear up as they slowly stream down her face.

After a night of talking and eating pizza. Paul walks Kim back to her house. It was just before midnight. Kim once again didn't want her parents to know about the teen... Yet.

Well particularly her father. He would hit the roof if he found out a guy that wasn't Ron is hanging around Kim.

Paul said goodbye to the teen.

She said goodbye to him, before she leaves she hugs him tightly one more time and whispers into his ear.

"Thanks for saving me tonight... Hero." Kim said quietly.

She ends the hug before quickly entering inside her house. Paul didn't know this but she felt embarrassed for doing that, but she also felt brave for hugging him.

He was stiff for a bit, before realising he's standing outside in the cold like an idiot.

He quickly hurries back to his house. He opens up his door and closes it.

What night. What a fucking night. It's been a long day. School, soccer, cheerleaders singing, almost got in a car accident with the bus, cold & dark night, arguments, missing girls... Okay that sounds a bit creepy. And a freaking mutant. This felt like a wild episode.

He was glad it was all over now. But he knew it was time to make a certain phone call to a friend back in Australia and a local call to another friend. That's if he wasn't sleeping.

Paul goes onto his phone and opens up Discord. He calls up his friend Manny to thank him for sending the message to Wade.

As the phone rings he starts to thank himself, for bringing that device tonight for the supposedly cheerleading competition, which turned out to be a set up. You can never be too prepared.

He couldn't stop thinking about Kim hugging him. THREE TIMES TONIGHT!

"Hey Pauly. What's up?" Manny says on the phone's speaker.

Paul snaps back to reality.

"Hey Manny. Hope you're good. I want to give my gratitude for sending the message over to my friend."

"No worries buddy. He's here in our Fortnite party as we speak. Have a listen. Wade say hello" Manny says.

"Oh no, you didn't man." Paul now was scared. Manny probably said something to his newly made friend. He wasn't entirely the best influence for young kids.

"Hey Paul, was everything okay?" Wade says.

"Manny. What did you say to Wade?"

"Nothing bro. Just me, him, Lucas and Jason playing Fornite. Talking about things. You've been busy man."

"... He told you didn't." Paul sighs at this.

"Yes." Manny replies instantly but there was a silence for a bout a few seconds as Paul's friends know about his secret with what he has done, "But were proud of you man."

Paul perks up upon hearing this, "Proud. Uh Hello Am I speaking to Manny? This is life threatening business man." Paul checks the caller ID to ensure it's still his friend on the phone.

"Yeah dude. Wade's told us what you've done. Got to say man, it takes a lot of courage to do stuff like that." Lucas says.

"Yeah man. You're number 1." Jason adds.

"I thought China was supposed to be number 1." Paul says smiling.

Everyone in the party laughs at this joke. Funny when required. That's Paul on que.

"Man, we are all onboard. But do us all a favour." Lucas says.

"What's that?"

"Please don't get yourself killed dude." Lucas says in a serious tone.

Paul gulps at this. He's throat tightens. It is a small risk that he might get injured or potentially killed going on missions. He was repeating the sentence in his head.

Kim and her friend Ron. Who have been doing this for a few years now. Haven't been hurt or... Killed.

Both are still alive.

He knew what he was going up against. He liked to help people. But this would be the biggest help he would ever do in his life. Was it worth risking his own life?

Not really. But Kim needs the help, because she might be on the other receiving end. Getting hurt. And he will deliver his promise to help her as much as he can.

He was ready to take it on.

"I promise bro." Paul says.

"Great. Now you wanna join?" Lucas says.

"Man you know that Fortnite is cringe. Plus I'm not good at shooter games."

"(Laughing) Man I remember you hid in the bush for the entire game. We finished in the top 4!" Jason says.

"Yeah I remember. I'm bad with those type of games. I start panicking when someone shoots at me."

All the boys agree. They knew him too well.

"Hey Wade, can I talk to you for a few minutes and you can go play with the boys."

"Sure thing. Guys AFK for a few minutes."

"Okay Wade. We'll wait for you." Lucas said.

"Thanks Lucas."

Paul says goodbye to the boys, before Manny hangs up and Paul calls Wade.

"Hey Wade. How did it go with Manny?" Paul says as he takes a seat on his chair.

"Yeah. Your friends are funny and nice guys. Their Australian culture is weird, great and unique."

"Every culture is unique. That's what it makes it so fascinating."

"I know. So what happened tonight? Give me the dets."

"Details. Sure. Basically Barkin our school sub teacher, invited me to chaperone the girls for a cheerleading competition tonight and it was all set up by Ron's old stomping ground buddy. Gill.

"Was this from Camp Wannaweep?"

"Exactly. And all the girls tonight were tied up by him and I took him down. Kim was coloured impressed by my performance tonight, she is now said that I'm going to be part of the team!"

"Are you serious? That's huge man! Oh I can't wait to work alongside with you." Wade says getting really excited.

"I know man. But she really isn't a team based player though. No offense though."

"And I agree. She needs to think about others from the team. She gets grumpy when the villains succeed."

"Hmm... That's something we might need to address in our future meetings. Also I need a favour from you."

"Name it."

"I need you to build one of the devices the Kim has. The Kimmunicator. I'm willing to pay you for your trouble."

"Don't worry Paul. It's on the house. Your part of the team now."

"No. It's the principle. I'll give you whatever cash you require to build it. But can you go for a watch instead of a handheld device? Actually do both if possible."

"A watch? Why didn't I think of that?"

"Slipped your mind maybe."

"Maybe. Also swing by tomorrow to check out my new gadgets."

"Will do. We'll discuss more about it tomorrow. Have a good night buddy."

"Same to you. Wade out."

Paul smiled as he ends the call.

He was officially part of the 'Team Possible' Crew. And it felt nice to be part of a team that didn't relate to sports.

Kim was in her room. It was 30 minutes past midnight, she took a quick shower and was in her pyjamas. She was lying down on her bed. Thinking about whether she made the right call in regards to Paul joining Team Possible. He did a bang up job with Drakken and Shego, but was it beginners luck?

She saw Paul tonight... well technically last night, what he was capable of doing by himself. His leadership skills, communication, fighting technique and bravery. He truly got the girls out of that pickle. Ron... well she doubted that he would have actually saved them if he was around.

All she knew that if Paul had not been there last night. It would have been really messy. She couldn't bare to think tomorrow morning's headlines regards missing group of girls and her sub-teacher.

She was totally grateful for Paul and his actions. He was slowly gaining her trust. Although only knowing a guy for 2 months doesn't change the fact that she can completely trust him with her life yet.

She could only completely trust her family and Ron.

But she started to develop a crush on Paul.

Her brain says it won't last.

But her heart says he's the one.

Yes.

No.

YES!

NO!

YESS!

NOOO!

YASSSS!

NEEEEINNNNN!

"Ahhh! So many confusing feelings!" Kim says in her head. Her head going through a million scenarios.

Although she had to admit he was quite cute. She sighs hugging her pillow thinking about the teen.

She wouldn't be quick to forget that he saved her twice yesterday.

The river and from Gill. She could have been infected with toxic waste. But he prevented that from happening.

He was her hero. Something she wouldn't take for granted again.

She finally thought about the hugs she gave the past few hours to him. It felt... Nice! She felt protective and comfortable in his arms.

That was the last thing she thinks about, before she nods off to sleep.

Author Notes:

Looks like Paul is officially part of Team Possible. Everything isn't so peachy in the Rockwaller family. Even Bonnie knew that. Paul was definitely onto something.

- AFK Stands for Away From Keyboard.

- Nein means 'No' in German.

Well that's it from me. See you in the next chapter. Have a good day!
