Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom or Monster High. I do not own the original story this is based on.

Danny woke up again to see a ceiling. It was old wood, proven by the slight maintenance seen. Another bed was laid out to his side, adorned with stickers and posters of boy bands. The boy felt like a ragdoll that had been played with one too many times. He sat up half expecting Spectra by his side like last time but instead saw the face of Wendy staring at him.

"Wendy? "Danny said as he noticed her expression.

She's quiet... He thought while Wendy seemed even more intense. That was not a word the boy would ever think to associate her with.

She seemed unsure, like the boy missed something big. Her face kept staring at him like she was in a trance. Danny reached out a hand as he tried to ask what the matter was, only to see his bare arm in front of him. It was then he recalled passing out at the entrance, where he was most likely seen.

The two stared silently as Spectra came in through the wall.

"Wendy, has—Danny!" Spectra rushed over, giving the boy a hug. She had been so worried, the ghost girl had taken to helping around the shack to keep her mind off things.

She kissed the boy on the cheek, embracing him tightly. Inadvertently, she used enough force to squeeze the ghost boy in his human form with too much pressure. Danny was gasping a bit before using his ghost powers to break free.

"S-sorry," Spectra said with an embarrassed blush. "I'm just happy you're alright."

"It...it's okay..." He said before recalling their situation and the events up to now.

"Are things still that bad?"

"Scream for yourself." Spectra pointed to the window.

Everyone glanced at the ghost girl. While teen slang was one thing to get the hang of, monster teen slang was apparently another. Though Soos took an immediate liking and formulated his own puns. Something Mabel joined in.

"Huh, I guess you could say this is a rager zomblem," Soos said.

"Or a catacombtastrophe," Mabel added.

Spectra wrote those down for later.

Danny, ignoring the two, gave an almost dead glance, realizing now they barely made a dent in things. Of course, that was to be expected, given no one went to the primary source of the problem.

Bill Cipher.

Danny didn't know what to call Bill, but Cipher was still present. It was a good thing he was still keeping things in town, but Danny wondered how long. Any lingering thoughts were broken as a small flash stunned his eyes. The ghost boy turned to see Mabel with her phone out, taking selfies.

"Hey Danny, I hope you don't mind, but I took some selfies with you while you were unconscious," Mabel said, interrupting the ghost boy's thoughts and scaring him slightly. This got everyone in the room to stare at her. Her brother, Dipper, had a look of disappointment.

"What? Who wouldn't want a selfie with an actual superhero?" Mabel brought out the pictures on her phone. "Though I probably should've taken them when you were a ghost." She swiped through the many photos stored on the device.

"You took pictures of me while I was out cold..." Danny said, looking at the various poses his tired body was in. Now he knew why he felt like a ragdoll.

"Oh, that? Pfft. That's me duct taping a traffic cone a horse to make it a unicorn. I got banned, but I made a friend online when I posted it. His name is NoWallMerc. I think he's old, but you can't be too old for unicorns."

Danny looked at the photos. The pics showed how Mabel and Dipper spent their summer in Gravity Falls. With their homely yet odd ways, the kooky townfolks seemed delightful, if not somewhat creepy. The ghost boy glanced at Spectra, who gave a small smile and walked up to the window. He brushed his hand through his hair as he thought about what to do. He had been through massive ghost invasions and fought incredibly powerful beings, but this could top the list.

Dipper walked up to the ghost boy and tried to tug his arm. A vain effort since the hand went right through Danny.

"Ahem," Dipper coughed to gain Danny's attention. "Look, I know things look grim, but I'm glad you came here."

Those weren't easy words for Dipper, who still felt a tug of jealousy from Danny's date with Wendy. The boy glanced back at the redhead before taking a deep breath.

"Right now, we could really use your help. The one person who has any idea of what to do is trapped in Bill's Fearamid and we need to get to him. So, let's come downstairs and come up with a plan."

Danny nodded and gave the boy a smile, as did Wendy, Mabel, Spectra, and Soos. Dipper was a good kid, seemed a bit mature for his age, though there was still a lot of childish behavior. Though given the monsters around this sleepy town, that might explain things.

The group walked downstairs, where the twin's Grunkle Stan managed things. And by managing things, he had everyone staying in the Mystery Shack with no plan. The elderly but still functional man glanced up and heard the group's steps. In particular, he stared at Danny, who was looking at the monsters around. There was a bear made of bears, gnomes, a pixeled character from a videogame, and more. They were all intermingling with human characters in the shack, all dressed in an almost similar manner to Toby.

"And here I thought life couldn't get any weirder," Danny snarked quietly.

"Glad to see sleeping beauty is up," Stan said in a similar tone.

Danny walked up to the man. He intended to talk, but the man held up a hand.

"Look, kid, I don't know what freaky accident gave you superpowers, but it's none of my business." Stan gestured to the room. "Right now I got a whole shack full of...everything to worry about as we ait out the apocalypse."

"You're just gonna wait this out?" Danny pointed to the window. "Have you looked outside!?"

"Yeah. And it's just how AM radio described it." Stan walked to the canned food. "Anyway, once we run out of food, we'll eat the gnomes."

"Hey! I'm short not deaf!" a brown hair gnome shouted from his place on the shelf.

Stan placed a finger on his mouth as he tried to shush him. "Shh! Shh! Stress will make you chewy."

"Dude, we can't just stay here waiting for the world to end," Danny said, walking up to Stan. "Trust me, it will not work out."

"Grunkle Stan, Danny's right. We can't all just hide inside the shack," Dipper said, getting in between the two. "There's a town in need of saving. Me and Ford tried to do it, but he got captured by Bill."

"Serves that jerk right. My brother's had some stupid plans, but going up against an all-powerful space demon was his worst one yet. Trust me, we have everything we need right here." Stan walked to a wooden lounge chair, where he sat down with the multi-bear creature was behind him. The bear put his hands on the man's shoulders. It's not the Ritz, but at least the monsters inside know how to massage." He turned to the bears. "You know Shiatzu?"

Apparently, the bear had taken some classes, much to Danny's surprise and Spectra's curiosity. After the last few days, the ghost girl thought about taking a spa day. Though that would have to wait after her expense with the camera.

Dipper and Mabel argued with Stan about stopping Bill, but the grunckle ignored them as he accidentally turned on the tv. Turns out the local news reporter, Shandra Jimenez, had somehow made it up to Bill's castle and showed live footage of the captured citizens turned to stone and assembled into a throne of pure human agony. It scared everyone as some, like the local sheriff, broke out into tears at the sight of their loved one in such a state.

Spectra gasped, knowing that not all monsters were friendly, but this was a new level of cruelty.

Despite the panic, the ghost boy didn't know what to say. He knew no one here and highly doubted any words he'd have would stir them. He glanced to Dipper and Mabel, who took charge, not wanting any more of this mayhem as well.

Mabel climbed up the Multi-Bear, gathering everyone's attention. "Guys, don't you see? Our friends need us, but we can only save them if we fight back!" She pulled Dipper up after her.

"Mabel is right. Bill wants us to run and hide. He wants us to think he's invincible. But Ford told me before he was captured that he knows Bill's secret weakness."

"Weakness?" Danny and Wendy said in unison.

That got everyone riled up as they murmured amongst each other. IF there was a way to stop Bill, then they were all ears. Except for Stan, who was trying to maintain order out of fear and a slight grudge he seemed to have with his sibling.

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Have you all forgotten who's in charge here? Besides, we're only safe inside! It's not like we can take the Mystery Shack to Bill."

Stan's words seemed to send sparks into MacGucket's head. The old hillbilly started acting up. Danny never thought he'd see an actual hillbilly as shown on TV. It made the boy question his words about the truth in television shows.

"Wha-Whoa! Holy hootenany! Flapjack and fiddlebanjos! Sorry, Sorry. Got a little excited," McGucket stammered in an excitable manner. He thumped his foot and slapped his knee as he calmed down. "What I meant to say is I think I figured out a way to fight Bill and rescue Ford. But we're all gonna have to work together." The hobo hillbilly man snapped his finger and took a pair of glasses out of his beard, putting them on. "Now. You just..."

The old hillbilly went straight to work as he drew plans for, what Danny would call, a totally awesome and out of anyone's mind robot.

Parts were plentiful, given the abandoned and scrapped state of the town. The only real challenge was avoiding any eye-bats that flew by. Every bit of manpower, both natural and supernatural, was needed in procuring what they needed.

Danny helped everyone get straight to work on the construction of the mecha. The ghost boy went to town, lifting anything he could with incredible strength. For someone that seemed scrawny, he could bench a bus or two.

Much to the impressiveness of Spectra and Wendy. Mabel joined in with a playful catcall as the manotaurs came by carrying as much. The half-man, half-taur creatures challenged the ghost boy, intimidated by his small stature and incredible strength. The ghost boy ignored them, comparing them to some of the jocks back at school, and kept going to work. Spectra giggled, taking a photo on her iCoffin as the ghost boy flew by.

The ghost girl was no slouch. Though not as powerful or versatile, the ghoul could still scour the town invisibly, going back to mark part locations on the map back at the shack.

Soos had preoccupied himself in showing MacGucket anime cause the plan needed gun swords, according to his words. Danny didn't know if the old hillbilly understood the clips, but he wrote notes. So that was something. Maybe the ghost boy would look up more anime when he got back. It had been a while.

The thought of anime brought the ghost boy's thoughts back to one of his previous dates, Makoto Lita. The boy wondered what kind of shows she'd watch, but that was a question for when he got out of Gravity Falls.

He mused about his former date/online pen-pal and what she was doing right now until he was called to help with some heavy lifting. As he lifted a truck, the boy turned to Spectra and noticed that she seemed confused about something. And the ghost girl didn't share her thoughts until later into the night.

The entire group had gathered around a fireplace, with Mabel making everyone apocalypse sweaters. Not everyone was keen on them. Pacifica, a rich girl in rags, refused to wear one until the cold winds greeted her. While her llama sweater could be cute, Danny wasn't sure about his half heart sweater with Spectra's matching half. It just seemed too clingy.

But the ghost girl wasn't concerned about the love-dovey sweater.

"I gotta ask," Spectra said, floating past the monsters. "How is it you are all here, but the monster world has never heard of you?" The ghost girl brought up her iCoffin, filtering through her personal photos and showing them to the creatures. "We have all sorts of boo-roovy ghouls and mansters, but none of us had heard of manitaurs or mutli-bears or anything of the sort."

The monsters glanced at the device, then at the humans. One of the manotaurs, Pituitar, stood up to answer.

"Not all monsters want to be part of the monster world. Some of us just want to be left in peace." Pituitar flexed, showing his great muscles and tearing Mabel's sweater into pieces. "We manotaurs don't wanna live in peace. IT'S NOT MANLY! We just wanna fight and be manly!"

Spectra was dazed by the muscles. She had to admit there was a certain flair to them. Though the meathead-like attitude of the manotaur wasn't as flattering. She turned to one of the gnomes. Perhaps a more common creature could provide answers.

"I'm with the manotaur, except I don't care about being manly!" the gnomes aid.

"LIES!" The manotaur yelled.

Dipper ignored this and turned to the ghost girl.

"Look, Spectra, I get you want investigate all the creatures here in Gravity Falls, but that might just be it," Dipper said, grabbing a can of Pitt-Cola. "I mean, I've never heard of t his place before, and maybe that's why they're here." The can was snapped open. "They just wanna live in peace like humans, maybe."

"Well, we wanna live like men but rest can do whatever!" The manotaur admitted before going back to his meat-head attitude. "Their choice!"

Spectra and Dipper ignored that and continued talking. But they were glad to see the manotaurs could respect other opinions. Especially Dipper, who encountered the creatures earlier this summer with his own little adventure.

"So, you think everyone just wants to do their own thing?" Spectra questioned.

"Well, I mean that seems like it to me. You'd do the same, right?" Dipper admitted, looking unsure.

"Well, I can't argue with that, but where can you do that?" Danny added, recalling some ghosts in the Ghost Zone who just want to be left alone. "I mean, humans aren't expected to do that."

Spectra sighed, agreeing to the notion. There had been times where she ventured through the Ghost Zone to socialize, only to have backs turned at her. While some specters and banshees were keen on talking, one had to avoid disturbing the more isolated spirits. The ghost girl floated over to Danny, pouting as she leaned on his shoulder.

Soon, everyone took their time enjoying themselves. For tomorrow, they fight for their freedom and world.

Bill Cipher had been enjoying the party he was hosting, or at least he was until he discovered the limits of Gravity Falls confined him. He had talked with Stanford Pines, the only man who would have a clue what was going on, and found out about Gravity Fall's natural law of weirdness magnetism. There was a simple equation to shatter the barrier, but Ford wouldn't say anything.

Bill could jump into the man's mind, but he'd need permission to do so. But that didn't mean there weren't loopholes. All Cipher had to do was make the man allow him, and he could get the equation no problem.

The demon had spent much of his time playfully torturing the man, only letting him rest as a golden statue to think up more painful and crazy ways.

Right now, Bill was going for a classic: chaining up Ford on all limbs while sending beams of pure pain into his body. The demon's hench-maniacs cheered loudly, waiting t=for the scientist to crack.

"Ready to talk now?" Bill asked, holding off the beams.

"No! I won't let you into my mind," Ford gasped. He was staying strong, but there was still a limit to the pain he could take.

"What do you think, pals? Another 500 volts?" Bill asked. The crowd roar, but their's wasn't the only one."Hey, do you hear that?"

A loud roar was heard as a T-rex smashed through the triangle door, loudly proclaiming his entrance.

Bill, furious after just fixing that door earlier, and his men looked outside to see a giant robot outside made from the Mystery Shack. It had a regular robot arm on its right, with the left being a T-Rex encased in syrup(Danny was never more in tune with his inner child than when the twins took him to get the reptile). There was a regular robot leg on the right, with the left being more makeshift with a truck as a foot. A loch-ness monster robot neck and the head were fixed into the back with a totem pole attached on the side. It was as out of this world as Danny had imagined when he saw the plans.

"Oh man, and I thought the Ghost Zone was crazy," Danny said as he looked around. "This is beyond crazy!"

"So...that's the place where all ghosts come from?" Dipper asked, and Danny nodded.

"Yeah, it's alright..." Danny said, desensitized by his many adventures. "But let's talk ghosts later..."He suggested.

"Agreed! Everyone, attack!" Dipper said over the makeshift speakers.

The robot took a pose ass Bill's forces jumped out of the Fearamid. Cipher laughed at what he perceived to be an attempt to stop him. His minions would be more than enough.

Boy, was he wrong.

The shacktron was built to handle any weirdness coming its way. It punched out a couple of minions in one hit before scattering them with a 360-degree barrage blast from its shoulder-mounted totem cannon.

Outside, Wendy was on the roof with the pixelated videogame character, Rumble McSkirmish, dealing with the eye-bats. Rumble fired an energy blast at one as the second was gobbled up by the loch-ness head. Wendy saw a third trying to get away. Having none of that, the girl leaped onto the top of the bat, pulling on its wings, setting its Medusa-like gaze into 8-Ball's face.

The monster silently panicked before fainting from his oxygen flow being cut off. It wasn't lethal, but at least he was out of the fight.

"That was awesome!" Danny cried out. He froze another eye-bat before doing the same to Wendy's. He flew down and carried her off the creature, but not before the girl shattered it into another ey-bat. "That was amazing!"

"Dude," Wendy scoffed, blushing at the compliment.

Spectra watched in awe as the redhead was able to do so much, yet she, a ghost, was helping out in the cockpit. She also noticed how Danny complimented Wendy and frowned. The ghost girl thought about what more she could do, pouting with her arms crossed before going back to manning the cannons with Mabel.

"Boy trouble?" Spectra turned to see Mabel staring at her. "Yeah, I've been there. Had a lot of crushes this summer with one being a bunch of gnomes, and the others being weirdos. One guy was obsessed with puppets! But I did get my first kiss with a mermaid!" Mabel sing-songed that last part with some excitement. "But he had to marry a beautiful dugong to stop a war in his kingdom." The girl sighed sadly, pulling the pulley for the main cannon again.

As loud explosions occurred outside, hitting some of the monsters in the face, the ghost girl nodded in surprise to hear of such events. She looked outside, seeing Danny fighting off the monsters, freezing Paci-fire, a creepy dark-grey baby with enormous black horns, a pink bull-like nose, glowing red eyes. The monster had a somewhat scrunched face, small dark grey lips, and a black tail with a second face on its torso with light red eyes and red pupils sucking a red pacifier on a chain. The baby man threw a tantrum as the shacktron threw a heavy right hook into his face.

Danny cheered with Candy, who was operating the arm. The two high five, but Candy put too much effort, swatting the ghost boy into another monster, a purple bread-ape hybrid named Zanthar. The purple monster was angered by the action, charging forward as everyone braced for impact.

The shacktron took a defensive stance, taking in the entirety of Zanthar. The bench maniac pushed the robot miles away, with everyone inside holding on for dear life. Grabbing the bread monster, the mecha changed stance as Mabel sent orders to the engine.

"Everyone, maximum power!"

Inside the engine room, a set of clones was running on a treadmill, providing energy. The seven-membered generator pout in more effort as sparks flew. Spectra went to work checking the power as Dipper flung the steering wheel, throwing Zanthar far away.

Spectra cheered with everyone, gaining a new perspective of the monster and humans in Gravity Falls. The monster world had kept itself separated from the humans for so long, calling them normies. But this was something else entirely. The ghost girl saw the Multi-Bear hive fiving everyone as Rumble McSkirmish was embraced by Toby.

This is beyond scaretastic! Spectra thought to herself.

It was there Bill had enough. He looked to Ford, who wasn't turned to gold, and saw his joy. Knowing the twins were somehow behind this, Cipher realized their deaths would haunt him and set out to destroy the shacktron and everyone inside. The man had something he wanted, and the demon would get it by any means necessary.

The pyramid demon exited his Fearamid, enlarging himself tremendously before doing so to an exponentially greater extent to his hand. He adjusted his tie before slamming down on the Shaktron.

For his entire time here, Danny had come to realize a barrier placed on the shack, which was why they had to convert it to a robot. But the power behind it was fully realized as the shacktron's barrier took the brunt of the attack, leaving it intact. He was happy to see the place intact and more so to see Bill struggling to lay a finger on it. The demon produced multiple arms and sent a flurry of punches down, but none went past the barrier.

Eventually, the T-rex arm grabbed hold of Bill's only eye, savoring its flavor. Everyone purposely made sure it didn't get anything to eat just for this occasion.

With Bill distracted with regenerating his eye, the loch-ness head shot some of the crew led by Dipper and Mabel from its mouth. Danny kept guard as he blasted any intercepting Eye-bats away from the parachuting townsfolk. Everyone made it alright, which meant all Danny had to do was support the robot.

The ghost boy had argued he would be needed in the Fearamid, but everyone agreed his powers could be more useful outside with the shacktron. And they were dead-on right.

The moment the shacktron pinned down Bill with its foot, the demon tapped its leg. Realizing the barrier didn't reach beyond the actual Mystery Shack, the tide was turning in Cipher's favor.

"Hey, Achilles." Bill said, ripping off the leg. "Nice job with the heel!"

The shacktron tumbled over as Bill used the leg like a golf club and swatted the bot away. The mecha rolled over with everyone jumbling around.

"This is like that time I put rocks in the blender!" Mabel commented.

"Why did you put rocks in a blender?" Dipper asked.

"I wanted something tough!" Mabel answer.

"Now's not to time for this!" Spectra reminded as she gestured to the situation here. "Everyone, evacuate!" she ordered.

The shacktron was compromised, and it was likely Bill was now calculating everything he could do to destroy it. Everyone scrambled for the emergency exit, which Stan was trying to find during the middle of the fight.

Danny, who saw everything, didn't know if everyone would make it out okay, so he decided to try and distract Bill. He didn't know if he could, but all he had to do was stall the demon for as long as possible while everyone got out. Usually, the ghost boy would think up a plan, but it was pretty obvious how to get Bill's attention.

The chaos demon was floating over to the disabled shacktron, now targeting everyone inside. he wasn't sure how to do that with the barrier, but he'd find a way. His blank face scared the crew as a giant fist was formed again. Only this time, no one was certain whether they'd survive.

It was then a ghostly wail hit him straight on. The pyramid demon tilted for a moment but was unaffected by the sound waves hitting him at high speed and power. The demon didn't feel any pain but rather the opposite.

"Huh, kinda tickles," Bill laughed as the will continued until Danny stopped, running out of energy. The demon looked to see an exhausted Danny Phantom floating nearby.

The ghost boy panted as he checked the Shacktron. Everyone got out safe and was running for cover. Too bad for the ghost boy was the colossal shadow of Bill Cipher hovering over him. And it was even worse as a finger and thumb held Danny in one place while being studied like a toy.

"Well, well, well well well well well well, what have we here?" Bill said, eyeing Danny inquisitively. The ghost boy was crushed against his fingers. Danny tried to phase out but couldn't pass through the chaotic being. "Aren't you a little feisty one. Ha! ha! ha!"

Danny glared his green eyes at Bill. It continued to add to the latter's amusement.

"Awe! How cute! You think you're a threat." Bill giggled. "How adorable."

Danny glared at his mockery.

"Just what are you?!" Danny demanded as the villain scoffed.

"I'm what you'd call a manifestation of all your worst nightmares combined into one. But hey, you can call me Bill for short," Bill said with a happy eye. He was unfazed by anything the ghost boy threw at him. Danny tried to freeze part of him with eye beams, but a blink cleared all the ice.

"Why are—ugh—you doing this!?" Danny seethed as Bill played with the pressure on him.

"You know, your reality is one of infinite millions in the omniverse." bill brought up a projection of a dimensional map that seemed similar to the stars. "Anything is possible. Anything. But all things must come to an end. And that's what I'm providing for you, an end, or a liberation. but not just any end, I'm talking about ending the ending with a party that never stops and a host that never dies."

Danny struggled against the weight, barely registering what Bill was saying.

"Oh right, I was mercilessly killing you. I almost forgot. Ain't that a hoot!" Bill's tone never changed from his joyous and casual tone. It was almost like nothing bothered him, and it was scaring Danny.

Almost.

"You know you kill one insignificant creature, you've killed them all. Don't you humans have something similar?"

"You're not...ugh...liberating anyone today!...ugh!" Danny grunted as Bill played with his strength.

"Oh yeah, says who?..."Bill said as he squeezed him harder.

"GAH!..."Danny let out in pain.

Bill could have crushed him there but got another idea.

"As fun as this is, I have other people to see. Big plans." Bill wigged a finger in excitement. "So, I gotta go. Places to free and people to enslave. So, you have fun in this personalized bubble of madness." Bill closed Danny in a black bubble that formed around Danny. "It'll delve deep into your mind showing you your worst nightmares. Haaave fun."

Danny glared at the joyous expression of Bill. As everything turned dark, the boy looked around, his head in pain as the prison went into his mind.

The darkness took form in shades of a collapsed and ruined Amity Park. The buildings and rubble were void of color, with no sound present as the ghost boy walked around.

It was unnerving and slowly driving the boy insane as he walked by. But that was the last of his worries as he saw the cause of the destruction. A familiar face known to create such a scene.

"You," Danny seethed.

"Yes, me, or should I repeat your words?"

The figure walked up to the boy. Though Danny knew who he was, the man was covered in darkness and void. His fangy grin and red eyes are some of the only features available to see.

The two walked to each other. Their footsteps reverberated in the bubble, similar to somber music. Each beat announced the closing distance till they were less than a foot apart.

Danny's eyes glowed brightly as the man's red piercing eyes matched in luminosity.

"Hello, Danny. Good to see you again," The dark voice mocked.

Danny didn't answer but threw a punch. The attack was caught, used as leverage to bend him at the knee. The ghost boy resisted in vain as he pushed up with all his might.

"What do you think you're trying to accomplish?" The figure leaned down. "Last time we met, you won because of a surprise trick."

Danny continued to struggle.

"But this time, it's just you and me. Nothing else to help, nor any surprises to put me off guard."

He raised a hand as he did with Danny's body by the arm. The ghost boy couldn't get out.

"You can't beat me."

A punch to the stomach.

"I'm ten times more powerful."

A kick to the jaw.

"You only defeat because I was caught off guard."

A rising knee to the face.

"And what are you going to do if I get out? The only way you can beat me is to become stronger."

Danny was held up by the collar.

"And power corrupts. So the only question is, when will you become me?"

Danny didn't know what happened next as he blacked out. The emotional and physical stress was too much as his vision blurred and faded.

The ghost boy woke up screaming as he noticed his bed. There is no darkness, and the room looks normal with no signs of him around. In fact, it looks like the room he was in before the shack was remodeled. How'd that happen?

"Relax! Relax! Bill is gone!" Wendy said, calming the boy down. Danny sighed as he laid back, taking in the run-down wooden ceiling. It was comforting to see right now.

The boy glanced out the window and saw the town folks and some monsters fixing up the place. Whatever straggling weirdness remained was cleaned up and trashed as things returned to an abnormal.

Danny saw Wendy in the corner of his eye. The girl wore a small, cool smile as she stared.

"You know, you're really something else," Wendy remarked. She never took her eyes off the ghost boy, who blushed at the words. "Not many people would jump in and help a sleepy town like this."

The boy rubbed the back of his head, stretching an arm as he turned to the side.

"Well, I couldn't just leave anything alone. It's not like many can when you're trapped with what could be called...whatever you'd call Bill—"

"—Ford calls him a demon in disguise while everyone else is saying chaos god."

Danny blinked, staring at Wendy. He couldn't help agreeing to that last part.

Chaos god.

"Yeah, we're taking bets downstairs, so I wouldn't go into it."

Danny blinked once more. This town was crazy, but part of him liked it.

He flexed his arm as he recalled the fight. There's a dry chuckle. Calling that a fight was a gross overstatement as it was a one-sided beating. The ghost boy couldn't lay a solid blow, let alone hurt Bill. And the nightmare sphere...the less said, the better.

Danny pondered about today's events. He was gonna have to see a therapist after this, though finding the right person would take forever, even in the monster world.

Maybe Spectra knows someone. Danny thought, but his train of thought was derailed quickly as he felt a pair of soft lips against his cheek. He grew a blush as he turned to Wendy. It was only for a few seconds, but it was just the thing the boy needed right now. Even if it was from the wrong girl.

Wendy reeled back after the kiss with a smaller blush. She adjusted her hair as she formed the words in her head.

"Danny...you did good. Stop thinking about that stuff and enjoy the win." She got up and gestured to the door. "We're all outside celebrating Dipper and Mabel's birthday before they leave. Come join."

Danny got up as he smiled. For what it was worth, Wendy was right. They won, so it was time to rest and relax before school started.

The two walked to the door, only to see a floating ghost girl staring at them. The exit was wide open, and she saw everything.

"Spectra..." Danny sighed. She must've been worried sick and came up only to see the kiss. The boy gave a grim look, with him and Wendy hoping she didn't see it.

The redhead froze a bit, now realizing she may have inevitably strayed some teen drama.

"Danny!"

Or not as Spectra flew forward and embraced her boyfriend tightly in a warm hug. Seemed she cared more about her boyfriend than some kiss. Her spectral body shook with happiness as tears fell down her cheeks. There had only been a few times she left Danny's side, wanting to be the first ghoul he saw when he awoke. Though that was given since there were no others around. A loud crack was heard, and the ghost boy looked at Spectra to see her holding broken parts. He couldn't tell what it was, but the face on his girlfriend gave a big clue.

"I'm guessing that was your camera," Danny said. "The one you save up for?"

Spectra nodded. There goes many months of allowance down the drain. Or in the wastebasket.

"Sorry about your camera," Danny groaned.

Spectra sighed at the sorry state of the device. During the chaos fighting Bill, her camera had come loose, falling into the ground with a smash, shattering it to pieces. By the time she realized the device was gone, Weirdmageddon had already ended. She still had the photo of Danny from earlier, but it was not enough to work as proof. Her friends would believe her, but the populace was another problem.

"Oh well," Spectra said with a shrug. She floated over to Danny and held his arm. "At least we made it through the whole goredeal."

Danny laughed at the monster pun. It seemed more of an acute statement than slang.

The two leaned back against a wall as the ghost boy took the time for a short power nap. Spectra never left his side as Wendy decided to give them space. The redhead glanced at the ghostly couple before leaving, slowly closing the door behind her.

"Thanks for everything," she whispered.

After a day of repairs, Dipper and Mabel had one more event to anticipate/dread: their birthday party. It actually occurred during Weirdmagedon, but there was no chance of celebration unless you were with Bill. But it also signaled the twin's last day in Gravity Falls. Which made it a going away party as well, much to their dismay.

Dipper and Mabel made a lot of memories in the sleepy town. Mabel was distraught at saying goodbye to the friends she and her brother made.

The whole town came for Dipper and Mabel's birthday. It was the talk of the town. Even a pair of wealthy aristocrats were attending, though Danny questioned why they were here in the first place. Soos brought out a birthday cake for two, telling the twins to make a wish. Dipper said nothing, but Mabel expressed her wish to shrink everyone down to take with her. She looked to Ford, who was unsure about the statistics, scaring Danny.

So instead, Mabel dropped a memory gun and smashed it, declaring to never forget the town, much to everyone's relief.

The party was a blast as everyone not only celebrated the twins becoming teenagers, something Wendy rubbed into them, but also for the return of normalcy to the town. Soos had set up a DJ booth and picnic tables for the event, stating it was absolutely necessary. Everyone danced and wished Dipper and Mabel a happy birthday as some creatures came to do the same. The townfolks were a bit put-off, but everyone relaxed after a few rounds of games.

Spectra went quickly to work interviewing people. Despite the fact she may not have enough for the article on weirdmageddon, there was still plenty to do in introducing a sleepy town that discovered the breeds of monsters in their backyard.

Danny laughed as he got some soda, where he had been greeted by someone new. It was Stanford Pines, Stan's twin brother. The man looked exactly like Stanley but with a more adventurous look with a sixth finger. His stare was inquisitive, not saying a word. The ghost boy, not knowing how to break the ice, just filled another cup of soda.

"Uh...thirsty?" Danny asked.

Ford was silent as he stared at the cup for a moment.

"...Actually, yes! Thank you!" He said, graciously taking the cup. He took a sip as his demeanor softened. "Sorry about that. "I was deciding on whether to talk first then grab a drink or the other way around.

"I take it you done get out much?" Danny chuckled, trying to lighten the conversation.

"You could say that." Ford waved it off. "I've been stuck in an other dimension for the past thirty years. You'd be surprised how crazy things can be and one doesn't talk that much."

Danny spat his drink as he heard that. It landed on a nearby gnome, but the little guy didn't seem to mind. "You were in another dimension!?"

"Well, yeah. Haven't you heard of the multiverse?"

"That's real!? I thought it was just something comic books made up!"

"Well, it's actually more of an omniversal diagram of various environments, outcomes, and inevitabilities. It's actually quite fascinating. I actually meant a time traveler a while back. I think he goes by the name Paradox now. Anywho, this universe is just one of many." He pointed to Spectra. "Why there may be one where you didn't meet your girlfriend over there."

Danny blinked, taking all this in. He turned to Spectra, who was chatting with the Multi-Bear. She had dropped her reporter mode as the two talked about monster celebrities. It seemed the two shared quite a bit in common.

"You mean there could be a universe where I didn't choose Spectra?" The question was simple yet profound in many ways. It made Danny think back to the dating service, where he started questioning many what-if scenarios.

"Don't sweat it, dude." Danny looked behind to see Wendy. She was on the other side of the beverages, having heard everything. "We could spend eternity thinking about what if, but that how can chill now?" She gave the ghost boy a wink. "And I think that's what you should be doing."

Wendy pushed Danny, impossible given he was in ghost form, and then decided to gesture to his girlfriend. After everything, he deserved this.

Danny looked over to Spectra, who was gushing at meeting another fan of Scary Rotter. The ghost boy didn't know how to react but just laughed and put his arm around her, eliciting a blush. He got a kiss for his gesture, and the two went to the dance floor.

Wendy watched with melancholy. She had wondered how events would turn out if they dated. But that was another time. Right now, she set her eyes on someone who had some tug. But that was a story for another time, far in the future, whatever it may hold.

And she wasn't the only one thinking of bonds made during the summer.

"You know what? I think I'll take that advice as well." Ford finished his drink then walked over to his brother. He had a small device in his hand with a smile on his face.

The two hadn't spoken much after thirty years. It was time to change things.

As Danny and Spectra danced to the music, the ghost boy felt a disturbance at his leg. He looked down to see Mabel with her friends, Candy and Grenda, trying to get his attention.

"So, Danny," Mabel danced on her heels. "Any chance you'd know any cute, single superhero boys? Or vampires?"

Dipper almost laughed, shaking his head. He put an arm around his sister's shoulder as he gave her a funny face. Candy and Grenda wore those of adoration and expectation.

"Seriously, Mabel?" the boy said, laughter still in his throat. "After everything today, that the question you wanna ask him?"

"It's a legitimate question," Mabel defended.

"Yeah! Don't spoil our fantasies!" Grenda bellowed in her deep voice.

"Yeah!" Candy echoed.

"Sorry, Mabel, but all the monsters I know are girls, right now." Danny was blunt but honest.

Mabel pouted, having her dreams dashed for now. Well, not for long, anyway. The place was too festive for her to feel down. Nothing else mattered as the entire town came to celebrate the twin's birthday/going away party. So she was going to party till she dropped and had to be carried to the bus.

The shack was silent as the room above was emptied of all the decor and knick-knacks. Now was the moment where everyone cried, no matter how much they denied it. Dipper and Mabel were packed and standing in front of the bus stop, saying their last goodbyes.

"So, you two should be good to go. The reason Bill and his forces couldn't escape the confines of Gravity Falls was because it's natural law of weirdness magnetism works like a kinetic barrier, drawing in more weirdness when Bill invaded, disrupting the natural balance already in place."

Danny stared at Ford. His explanation was too much for a C-student to comprehend. Spectra giggled as she wrapped her arm around him.

"It means we can leave now, no wormies," the ghost girl explained.

"Oh..."

Wendy walked over to Dipper, leaning down to his eye level. She wore a sad smile, knowing this would be a long goodbye.

"Hey, you mean a lot to me, man." Wendy hid any tears with a smile.

"You too."

Dipper and Wendy bumped fists. The girl then switched her lumberjack hat with the boy's pine hat. The boy was confused y the gesture, but the girl's smile told of some reason.

"Something to remember me by." Wendy then pulled out a letter and ga e it to Dipper. "Oh, and this. Read it the next time you miss Gravity Falls."

The bus pulled up with the driver stating it was the last one out of Gravity Falls. Mabel teared up as she said goodbye to her new friend, Candy and Grenda. The girls hugged as Dipper turned to Danny and walked up to him. The ghost boy was unsure what to do until Dipper extended a hand.

"You know, this summer has been a once in a once-in-a-lifetimee. And I'm glad I got to meet you. Even if it was for a bit," Dipper said with a smile.

Danny smiled back as the two shook hands. They may not have met under the most pleasant of circumstances, but it was safe to say this event made them friends now. The ghost boy waved with Spectra as the twins boarded the bus.

Waddles, Mabel's pet pig, walked up with them, but the girl was sure her parents wouldn't allow such an animal in the house. The girl teared up, uncertain how to explain to the pig. But Stan groaned loudly as he put Waddle on the bus steps.

"Agh! You know what? Forget it! I lived with this pig all summer, now your parents are gonna have to. Hey, bus guy! This pig is comin' with the kids."

The bus driver had complaints due to the bus's no pets policy, but after being threatened by Stan and Ford, two armed men in their sixties, he quickly rebuked the policy and let Waddles on board. He even let the pig ride with him in the front.

The bus closed as the twins got on.

"I hope I can those two again," Danny quietly remarked.

"I know I am." Despite her tears, Wendy wore her usual cool smile. The one Danny had come to enjoy from their date back then. She turned and held up a fist to the boy. "Though I hope we can chill again some time. Just not with the world ending."

"You bet," Danny chuckled, bumping fists.

Wendy turned her fist to Spectra, surprised to see the human girl talking to her.

"You too. Come back soon."

Wendy's words touched Spectra. It was an unexpected gesture, given they hadn't talked much. The ghost girl promptly returned with her own fist before the ghostly couple took off. Waving goodbye with heavy hearts.

Who knew working together when a being from another dimension invaded the world could bring people so close together.

As they left, Danny and Spectra flew by the bus, giving one last wave goodbye to Dipper and Mabel. Summer was almost over, and the twins headed home with plans to visit Gravity Falls next summer.

The flight to the train station was quiet as the ghostly couple processed everything. The town grew smaller and smaller till it was just a speck in the background. Maybe they'd return as well one day, but that was for the future to say.

"That was...out of this world," Danny commented.

"Better than anything I'd think poltergiestable," Spectra added.

The ghost boy turned to the ghost girl. This entire ordeal had him thinking about them. They had gone through hell and come out fine, but times like this made some details stand out. Like the topic he wanted to ask his girlfriend.

"Hey, Spectra?" Danny asked. The ghost girl turned to exchange gazed. "I've been thinking for a while and I think you should meet my parents."

Spectra actually stopped flying upon hearing this.

"You fearious!?" She asked.

Danny nodded.

"But I thought you said that—"

"I know. It's the scariest thing on my mind, but I can't just keep making excuses." Danny was quiet with thought before speaking again. "If we can find a way to make you pass as human, maybe we can pull it off. Are there like, any magical items that can do so?"

"Well, there are these chokers, but they've been sold out for a while."

Spectra was deep in thought until an idea formed.

"I think I have an idea but I need to call in a favor from a ghoulfriend," She said.

I know a few were expecting Danny and Felicia, but that's taking longer for me, mainly due to anxieties. But I'm happy to end the Weirdmageddon arc in Danny and Spectra. Come the new year, we'll take a closer look at the monster world as Spectra and Danny deal with events of Weirdmageddon, in more ways than one. That all said, check out Batguy01's side story with Wendy.

Reviews:

RonaldM40196867: Yeah, I love mystery shows, so I'm not sure how to answer that. Different strokes for different folks, as they say. Tragedy? That'll be much later, this is still in the developing first year for the ghostly couple.

Invader Johnny: And luckily the citizens of Gravity Falls is used to weirdness.

Jebest4781: Thanks!

germanjustiniano9: No sin permiso, puede hacerlo. Bill lo necesitaba solo para entrar en la mente de alguien. No tengo ni idea, pero quizás con lo que pelea Danny.

danifan3000: Quahog will be investigated in one chapter, but don't expect the normal treatment as you'd see from the other fics. Though to put it bluntly, Peter was having one of his more...destructive shenanigans at work.

LockAndKey989: Sorry about the spelling, I can't always get every error. I'm only human. Also, I didn't want Danny being fully involved in the plot. This experience is going to be one of many.

cg037: Thanks!

Luiz4200: It fits.

ZoomedIn: Don't put up links. I can just tap on your username. Spectra was a monkey because of the Speed Racer reference in the episode. No clue what chocolate covered bats taste like. Danny had no symbol. He was there purely by accident.

Jay The Average Fanboy: 1) Pacifica is nicer to the twins. She still got them presents. 2) Sounds like a nightmare. 3) Wendy still has her axe, but she lost it during Weirdmageddon. Don't worry she found it afterwards.

KhyDragon(Guest): Here is more. I hope you like.
