Christmas time... The time of the year where you spend time with your loved ones and significant others. It's the special time of that season year to...
Wear ugly sweaters that are itchy.
Eating some fruitcake.
Eggnog... That's right eggnog.
Sprite Cranberry.
And that one Christmas you get that just really fucking pisses you off.
For some others they are lucky, because they have their birthdays on Christmas, which means bonus presents!
Ahh yes, Christmas. A jolly day of the year, with American schools wrapped up for the year, students would enjoy the break with their families.
As for Paul and Kim, they had spent the last few days together hanging out, doing a bit of Christmas shopping and small day by day deeds.
Today was Christmas Eve, right now, they were currently spending time talking to Ron via FaceTime. This would be Kim and Ron's first Christmas away from each other. They were talking about their last few weeks.
"Hmm, that doesn't sound too bad." Paul says as Ron mentioned he's plans for his Christmas lunch tomorrow... Fish and Chips!
"Yeah, things haven't that bad since England since moving here. Anyways, thanks for having the time to talk to me. I gotta get some sleep before Santy Claus comes tonight."
"Well Happy Hanukah Ron." Kim says.
"Yeah Happy Hanukah and happy holidays too man." Paul adds.
"Thanks guys, I'll speak to you soon. Say bye Rufus."
"Bye-Bye." He squeaked.
Both Kim and Paul waved as they said bye to him.
Ron ended the video call.
Kim sighs, "It's not the same. But it's still nice to talk to him through video calls."
"You have to be strong Kim, he might even come here during the Summer break."
"That would be nice. Spend the whole Summer catching up... Too bad it's still a few months away."
Kim really hoped another reunion with Ron will occur soon. Paul wished it could happen as well, but it was a call for Ron's parents to decide.
"So, you got any plans for tomorrow?" Kim asks.
"Uhhh... Not really." Paul admits, Kim knew straight away, he wasn't planning to do anything and offered him an invite.
"You want to come over my house for Christmas?"
"Uhh, I don't wanna intrude Kim. I mean... I went there for Thanksgiving, Sunday roast for the past 2 months, heck your mum invited me everyday for dinner last week." Paul says. It wasn't very different to what Ron did every night at the Possible household. The teen didn't want to take advantage of all the dinners he's had there for the past few months.
"Paul. You know you're welcomed to come to my house anyday... Well maybe better when my mum's at home. My dad might hide you in the garage and we won't find you for weeks. Maybe the Tweebs will find you first." Kim says joking about that.
"I'll be fine with him. I think we're on pretty good terms. So what time tomorrow?"
"Hmmm, probably around Midday."
"Midday. So about 12PM?"
"12PM is perfect." Kim says.
"Right, well I got to make a few phone calls back home to Australia and wish them a Merry Christmas. See you tomorrow Kim."
"See you Paul." Kim says, ash she watches Paul leave.
She sighs in delight, it was kind of sweet of him that he respect her family's privacy, but he was such a nice person to be around. Especially around her household. He would sometimes bring groceries for her mum, takeaway food for everyone with extras and take care of the twins from time to time, heck he occasionally walks them home after Friday's after school soccer program.
Recently she found it hard to buy him the perfect gift this Christmas holiday, not knowing what he needs, as he had everything he wanted. But she hoped the gift she bought him would make him happy. But it's the thought that counts. Besides, he gave Kim a really generous cheque earlier this month, it was only fair to get him a present for him too.
Later on Christmas Eve, it was now night time in Middleton, and everyone was ready for bed. Kim got dressed and was about to get into bed as it would be Christmas Day tomorrow. Having Christmas lunch with her parents, brothers and Kim's Nana. And her close friend Paul would be a guest. She all hoped everything would go well tomorrow.
That's when her Kimmunicator device went off.
'Beep-Beep, De-Deep'
She turned towards her nightstand and saw it's screen lit up.
She answered it.
"Go Wade."
"Kim, we got a problem." He answered. "Drakken and Shego were spotted going to a base North of Buffalo. Near Niagara Falls."
"Niagara Falls?" Kim questioned. "That's near the border of US and Canada."
"Correct. Look... I know it's Christmas Eve and all. I shouldn't be really bothering you... but-"
"I'm on it! But I noticed Paul's not on the video call?"
"Yeah. I didn't want to disturb him on Christmas Eve. I wanted him to be left alone. You think you can handle it yourself?"
Kim lowered her device down and thought to herself.
Yes, a few months ago she would have gone by herself without any hesitations.
But now... She thought how reliable of a partner Paul's been in the past few months. He indeed would be a must for this mission. Plus what if something where to go wrong during the mission and she needed backup.
"Kim you still there?"
Kim refocuses her attention back to Wade.
"Yeah.. I am still here. Look don't contact Paul."
"Okay."
"I'll go and see him myself and ask him if he wants to come along."
"Like at his house?"
"Yes. If he's not down to come, I'll still go by myself."
"Okay Kim. Do what you have to do. Just please be careful."
"I will." Kim ends the call.
She was a bit gutted to get a call the night before Christmas. Wanting to have a good night sleep before Christmas day. But thankfully she wouldn't be going alone. She still had to convince Paul to come of course. And she knew he was willing to help her out.
And to give her an extra bit of protection throughout the mission
Because she trusted Paul to keep her safe no matter what.
Paul was at home by himself.
He was watching a Christmas film, the famous family film, 'Elf'. It was just past 10PM on Christmas Eve. This would be his first Christmas without his family.
He was disappointed not to have any family around, but he had to be strong. He misses the memories have spending Christmas with his loved ones back in Australia. He spent almost 2 hours speaking to friends and family wishing them a Merry Christmas.
With his new riches, of course... He can definitely go back home and see his family, but he had thoughts whether if he would go back to America at all.
If it was for Kim. 100%
And of course his newly made friends as well.
But he had to agree to his commitments with his program. Plus he doesn't know the sanctions that will hit him him, if he does choose to quit the program early.
At least he had Kim and her family for Christmas. He really enjoyed spending time with her the past 5 months. Saying she potentially might be the one for him.
'DING DONGG!'
Paul moved his head towards the front door, as he stopped the film he was watching on tv and went up to answer it.
He looked through the peephole and saw Kim through it.
Quite surprised that she was at the door and at this time of night. The way she was dressed, appeared to be that she was going on a mission.
He opens up the door and faces Kim.
"Kim? What are you doing here?"
"Hey Paul, sorry to wake you up."
"No no it's fine. I was just watching Elf." Kim enters through the house, "What's up? Christmas is tomorrow."
"Look Paul... I was wondering if-"
"Yes"
"Ah. Wow, I didn't even ask you what is was." Kim says.
"Wearing your mission outfit was a given. You need all the help you can get with the mission. I'm down, I'm a bit surprised no one called or messaged me about it." Paul says.
"Yeah, Wade thought maybe you didn't want to be bothered during the holiday season."
"Kim, I'm ready to assist you in anyway possible, Miss Possible." Paul says with a grin.
Kim smiles at this.
"That's great to hear."
Both stare at each other.
"So who's ruining our Christmas tonight?" Paul folds his arms.
"Drakken."
"Tsk. Figures... Alrighty then, give me 5 minutes to get ready. Santa's going to be here in a few hours time."
Kim playfully rolls her eyes. That's the sort of thing that Ron would say. In fact he did a few hours ago. But Paul was joking about that. Ron... might have been serious about that.
Kim knew she made the right decision to bring Paul along. Both teens were flying in the sky now after Wade hooked them up with a ride.
She looked over to Paul, who was busy on his Paulinator device as he looks up and smiles at her, she felt all giddy inside. She was glad he was available to come on this mission tonight.
If she had her best friend, Ron Stoppable, he would most likely won't be allowed to leave and would had to remain at home for Hanukkah with his family.
Good thing Paul had a very handy circumstance to tag along with the mission like they always do.
The teen for the past few weeks had been trying to reveal something to Kim that he's heard recently about Shego and her family. Incredibly he's tried to tell her multiple times but they I've either been interrupted or something come up. Paul was going to tell her now.
"Hey Kim, I need to tell you something." Paul says.
"What is it?" Kim asks with interest.
"Well it's about Sh-"
"20 seconds Miss Possible!" The pilot interrupted him.
"Oh, sorry Paul. We'll speak after... It's time." Kim says.
"Right. Let's do this." Paul says as he prepares to skydive alongside Kim.
"Guess it will have to wait" Paul says. He was a bit annoyed at this, he's been trying to tell her since Thanksgiving. Almost 4 weeks ago!
They exit from there ride and begin to descend down into the cold night.
Eventually, both landed on top of the large vessel, as they quickly try and locate the cockpit.
The evil doctor and his henchwoman were steering the large ship from the cockpit talking amongst themselves.
"What do you think people used before ladders were invented?" Drakken asks.
"Really? Out of the things you can talk about, and you chose to talk about ladders?"
"It was a question Shego! Jesus Christ."
"Where?" Shego was being a smart alec.
"Oh haha, very funny Shego."
"What? I can't say a funny joke, but you can?"
As they were arguing Kim and Paul landed on the front. Shego immediately sees them.
"Princess!" Shego says. Drakken still faces her.
"Oh very funny Shego. Like I'm going to believe the Queen of England is right in front of me. And it's Queen, not princess Shego. Get it right." Drakken says.
"No! I mean-"
Drakken turns around before Shego could say-
"Kim Possible?!" Drakken says shocked. "Isn't she supposed to be kissing her boyfriend underneath a mistletoe or something?!"
Both teens blush at this. Even Drakken can see the obvious too!
"Mistletoe?" Paul says confused. That's right, he wasn't American.
Kim furiously blushes at this. Boy that was awkweird for Drakken to say.
Shego raised her fists and charged them with energy.
"I got them!"
Drakken rose a finger. "Ah Ah. No need, Shego." Drakken said. He slaps the top of the dashboard. "This baby here was designed with advanced defence mechanisms. Let's see what this does." He presses a button.
Drakken started up the windshield wipers and sprayed water on the window.
"Oh yeah. The wipers are reaaaally going to scare them off. Why don't you give them some fruitcake while you're at it." Shego says.
Drakken growled at this and pressed another button.
A coffee cup dispenses out and pours a fresh cup of coffee.
"Ooo! Coffee." Drakken picks up and takes a sip of it.
"Drakken!"
"Oh, right, right, right." Drakken presses another button.
Suddenly, the front of the ship opened up near the teens and a cannon on a mechanical arm-like feature aimed at them.
"Aha!" Drakken says pointing at them.
"Oh no…" Kim muttered, a split second before the cannon was about to fire, Kim yelled out.. "DUCK!"
Both got out of the way in the nick of time.
"Where?... Oh right, she meant to get out of the way." Drakken says.
Gee he's oblivious.
It fired and Kim used her gymnastics to dodged by flipping out of the way, Paul just dived onto the floor, which avoiding him.
However, she didn't get a chance to make sure her feet landed where they should.
She landed on the edge of the ship.
"Kim!" Paul yells out.
"Okay… I probably should have asked Santa for a jet." She quipped.
The blaster aimed at her. With no other option, Kim knew only one way out of this.
So, she fell back before it was fired.
"NOOOO!" Paul yells out as he jumps down to save her.
Drakken cackled in delight.
"Farewell, Kim Possible and Paul Kanellopoulos."
"You just said his n-"
"I know what I said Shego, don't rub it in."
Kim was freefalling off the ship. Paul was quickly trying to make up ground to catch her. The ship was massive so she had about 30 metres of freefalling before she hits the water. She didn't mind hitting the water as she's such a great swimmer and all.
But hypothermia isn't a friendly thing, especially during the Winter time.
Paul eventually managed to grab a hold of Kim.
"Gotcha!" Paul says.
They were less than a few meters from the ocean, as Kim pulls a string and a raft opened up from her backpack and they hit the water bouncing a few times before successfully floating on the raft.
"Phew! Good thing Wade had that life raft inside the backpack for a reason... Did you really jump down to save me?" Kim says.
"W-well.. Yeah, the water is pretty cold, and you'd have your clothes wet and where miles away from home." Paul says. Kim smiles warmly at him
"You're sweet you know that."
"Thanks Kim." Paul says looking bashful.
"We better start moving... Look! There's a ladder." Kim points, as they row towards there with the spare unassembled paddles in the raft, the eventually make it there. Kim tied the raft in case they needed to escape.
They climb up the ladder and reached the top to the top, they would have to find their way back to the cockpit area.
"Alright, let's check the front section of the ship. The cockpit is always at the front." Kim says, as she runs towards the front section.
"Not always, sometimes it can be in the middle." Paul says while running alongside her.
The reach the front of the ship, and see the door that access the cockpit.
"This is it." Kim said as they reached the door.
Inside, Drakken laughed.
"With this special vessel, I can use it to destroy cities and make them bow down at my will!" Drakken stated.
"What about cities that are located inner land? This ship won't reach cities that have no bodies of water surrounding them. Plus it's huge. How do you except to go through rivers and streams genius."
"What! Name me three big cities within inner land."
"Las Vegas, Beijing and Madrid."
"Then we worry about those later Shego. But your missing out the best bit! Kim Possible and her annoyingly overrated partner are now a smear in the ocean!"
"Guess again, Drakken!"
Kim called out. Drakken turned around and gasped in annoyance.
"Seriously?! Can't you take a hint and go down?! It's cold out there! Ohh Never mind. Shego! Attack them!"
"With pleasure!" Shego said as her fists began to light with green energy, she fires two balls of energy towards them as they dodge them.
Kim charged at her, as Shego leaped in and attacked her. She swung her hands at her, as Kim fought back, they eventually managed to fight their way out of the cockpit.
Meantime, Drakken took the commands.
"Let's see. We'll start at the place I plan to take over. Canada! Toronto here we come!"
"Let's not take over those guys. They're friendly." Paul says
As Drakken directed the ship in that direction, he forget one person to take care of.
He ends up getting attacked by Paul.
"Ahh! Shego, help!"
But Shego couldn't hear him.
"Why won't you two stop bothering us!" Drakken says trying to push the teen away.
"Why don't you stop Drak?" Paul says
"Because evil is what I do best."
"Well I think you're in the wrong business then." Paul says as he jars the boat's wheel with a crowbar.
"Fool! You'll crash the ship!"
"Correction, the one whole stole it, deals with it." Paul says.
Meanwhile, Kim and Shego were still fighting each other.
"Here's my Christmas gift for you, Princess!" Shego said with an evil grin. She swiped at her.
Kim bobbed out of the way.
"Oh thanks…" Kim snarked. "But I have a few just like it."
Kim swipes back as she managed to knock her down. Kim tries to make a run for it back to the cockpit, but she falls to the floor.
"Oh no you don't princess", She had grabbed Kim's foot, and dragged her back, Kim kicked her in the face. Kim jumped up as Shego tried to regain her composure.
Paul arrived to the scene, as Shego was still down, but she would soon rise up.
"Kim... I got her." Paul said. "You deal with Drakken" Paul says, Kim nodded as she ran back to the cockpit to deal with him, the ship was still turning right. It would be travelling in a circle.
Shego rose and readied for battle.
"Well it's the newbie again" She says with a smirk.
Meanwhile, Drakken was still struggling to take the metal bar off, but he finally removed it and throws it away. He now was back in control with the ship.
"Now...Let's see how well this thing really works!"
"Let's not!" Kim shouted.
Drakken turned around and was too late to move out of the way as Kim's kick knocked him away.
"Oh come on! You know how hard it was to remove than crowbar!"
With Drakken out of the way, Kim turned the ship around back to the army base.
Drakken got angry as he got up from his rear end.
"Shego!" He pointed to Kim.
...
"Shego?" She wasn't back yet.
Meanwhile back outside the cockpit.
Shego was firing a beam at Paul as he ran and dodged.
"Don't you know it's rude to fire dangerous beams at people?" Paul says.
"And don't you know it's rude to interfere with people's lives?"
"Well they told m-" Paul stopped for a second. He was so engaged by that chat, he almost revealed something to her.
"Told you what?" Shego stops her battle stance and actually takes an interest in what he said.
"Uh- Nothing nothing."
"Oh... In that case, HUEAH!" Shego takes a swipe at Paul as he avoided her.
Paul put his fists up and tries to jab her. She really gone up a notch since encountering Paul the first time around.
They kept on fighting until Shego got the upper hand. She manages to duck out of the way and came running at Paul, clawing him in the chest.
"AHHH! The fuck!" Paul winces at his chest. She creating 5 scratch marks on his new white shirt.
"Gotcha!" Shego says as she kicks Paul in the stomach. Then she threw a punch to his face, sending him nearly off the ship.
He gathers himself and goes towards her. Only 10 meters apart
Shego looks down at his ripped shirt, reach revealed a bit of his chest and Shego had to admit, it was a nice sight to look at. Even though he was younger than her, he did manage to keep himself fit. She felt warm on her cheeks.
Good thing he didn't have any deep scratches on his chest. And he was oblivious to Shego's red cheeks.
"I gotta say, you must be still pissed off from that ankle injury."
"U-Uh.. (Shakes thoughts out of her head) You got that right nerd!" Shego says, as she runs towards the teen.
Paul was unbothered by this as he moved out of the way, Shego failed to hit him. As Paul countered back against Shego, he started to get on top of the battle. He jabs her stomach with a punch and punches her face as she falls to the floor.
Paul stands over her body.
"That's for hitting me in the face and stomach. In the opposite order." Paul says being specific.
Shego was angry, as she quickly jumps back up and fights him
Meanwhile Kim was guiding the ship back to the base, as Drakken tried to regain control of the ship. Trying to push Kim out of the way, as Kim elbows him again, he falls easily and he crawls backwards away from the redhead. He then realised something.
"Oh doodles…" He then remembered something. "Ah!" He pulls out a remote. "I almost forgot!"
He presses a button on it.
Suddenly, an explosion occurs and explodes behind everyone. It was revealed to be Drakken's hovercraft.
No one knew except for Drakken what just happened, as the whole ship vibrates from that big bang.
The explosion caused a crack at the back of the ship.
"What the hell was that?!" Shego called out. Suddenly, to their surprise, the ship was beginning to descend slowly.
While Shego was distracted Paul decided to attack her, they eventually make their way back inside the cockpit. Drakken and Kim watches them stumble in. As Paul was on top of Shego punching her. He stops and realises the predicament he's in.
"Uhh... Don't tell me the ship hit an iceberg?" Paul says still on top of Shego.
An irate Shego gets off of him.
"I don't know!" Kim says.
"Haha! Fools!" Drakken shouts, as he gets up. "The hovercraft was parked near one of the main engines! Which I just blew up and now this ship is going down!"
"Annnnnnnnnd we're all on board you stooge." Paul says getting up from Shego.
"Uhh right. I should have denotated it after I got off. And uh..." He cowardly runs towards the hovercraft.
"Hey!" Shego shouted as Drakken ran past her. "What about me?!"
"You got legs Shego! Run!" Drakken says. Shego just followed him. Paul quickly turns back to Kim.
"Kim, see if you can get the ship to the closest land you see. I'll stop Drakken." Paul says.
Kim didn't have time to argue as time was of the essence.
Drakken got to his hovercraft and pressed a button that fired a ray at the area around Shego, opening it up and allowing her to climb out.
"Hurry up! Hurry up!" Drakken says.
"I'm coming already!" Shego said as she ran to the hovercraft, getting onboard.
Drakken tries to start up the hovercraft. But it's engine was failing to turn on.
"Oh, come on!" Drakken whined. "That's the third time this month! I thought Ed fixed these problems!"
"Freeze!" Paul says as he enters the explosion area, as he goes towards Drakken's side and tries to grab him outside of his hovercraft.
"Hold still." Paul says, fumbling to get Drakken out. The blue skinned man tries his best to fight him back, but Paul almost gets him out of his hovercraft.
"Hey kid. Say cheese." Shego had her palm out ready to release a plasma ball right at his face.
"Shit!" Paul narrowly dodges it, as he elbows Drakken at this side of his head. Shego kicks the teen back.
As Paul hits his back against the hard steel of the ship. As he was in a bit of pain. He was wincing in pain.
"What's it with kids these days and elbows!" Drakken complains. Finally after Drakken stopped bitching about his head, he gets the hovercraft to work.
"Finally! Now let's blow this joint!" Shego says.
"Shego, you know that I never smoke."
"NOT WHAT I MEANT!"
"Oh right!" Drakken says as he escapes the ship with the hovercraft, as Paul was in discomfort with his back.
Back inside the cockpit Kim was trying her best to find the nearest land. Every second passing, become more difficukt to control the ship
"I can't control this anymore." Kim says to herself. The ceiling above the wheel collaspes.
"(Gasps)" Kim dives away from the wheel.
The expensive army vessel started to slowly split, which caused the ship to shake violently and due to the damage Drakken's explosives caused, more of the ceiling started to break apart.
She saw what looked like one of the air ducts come out and land on top of her leg, she yelped in pain.
"OOW! (Inhales sharp breathe of air) That shit hurts!" Kim says as she tries to squirm her way out of the heavy airduct.
Paul started to get up slowly and he saw the ship starting to break apart violently. He had to forget about Drakken who had already escaped and find out where Kim is. The battleship could completely sink any minute now. He starts calling out her name.
"Kim! Where are you?" He shouts
No response, instantly thinking she must still occupied in the cockpit. He runs quickly to the front of the ship.
He slams the door of cockpit.
"Kim!" He calls out.
He looks around to see rumble on the floor, he look to see Kim trapped. Gasping when he saw Kim had an air duct on top of her leg. She tried to wiggle out of it, but made no success. It looked heavy as well
"Paul! I can't get this duct off of me!" Kim shouts out.
"Hang on!" Paul runs towards it and reached for the air duct. He tries to lift it up, but he couldn't budge.
"Shit! This duct is too heavy!" Paul says.
He kept of trying while Kim tried to push it off.
"Hang on! On three I push, you pull." Kim directs.
"Okay!" Paul says as he places his hands on the duct.
"1. 2. 3!"
Both teens grunt as they work together to lift up the air duct. But to no avail, it didn't move.
They keep on trying as the ship continued to sink further into the sea.
Paul started to get exhausted, taking a few seconds to regain his breathe, before attempting to try again.
Kim tried too, but slowly starting to stop pushing.
Every second they couldn't get the duct off, Kim starts to believe it's all hopeless now.
Paul however still tried to help her. But Kim knew it wasn't going to work.
Right there and there, she felt her fate.
"Paul." Kim says in a defeated voice.
"Yeah?" Paul says while trying to lift the airduct.
"It's no use... The airduct is too heavy. You have to get out of here. The ship is going to be underwater any minute now. It's not worth both of us drowning in here."
Paul stopped to look at Kim, before trying again to lift it up.
"Paul, stop! You're going to hurt yourself! Please save yourself!" Kim says.
"No! I'm not leaving you here!" Paul. said as he tried to grab the air duct again, before getting tired out.
"Just leave me here! It's too heavy to lift up."
Paul ignored her and tried again. He tried with all of his might.
"ACK! Come on you piece of shit!" Paul rants at the heavy duct. He was starting to get light headed from this.
He kicks it a few times in anger, before trying again to lift it up. He seriously was going to strain himself.
"PAUL!" She called out. "JUST STOP. YOU'RE GOING TO DIE!" Kim shouts while starting to develop tears in her eyes.
"NO!" Paul said. He's not gonna let her take her last swim.
"I'm not going to let my partner die without seeing her family for Christmas!"
Kim heart skipped a beat. He wanted to get her out.
Meaning he does truly care for her. Jumping off the ship to save her, fighting against the might dangerous Shego and trying to save her life now.
But she realises of course, Paul in general would assist anyone who needed help. Even if it risked his own life as well. But she would have the burden over her that made Paul's parents lose their only son.
"Paul! Look at me!" Kim says loudly.
Paul stopped lifting to hear Kim speak.
"I won't hate you if you leave me here. Just tell my family that I love them. Tell the Tweebs, that they were the best brothers I could ask for. Tell Ron that he's the bestest best friend that I could EVER ask for, and you Paul. For the past 4 months, you've been my shining knight in my hour of need. I thank you for that Paul. I'll cherish every moment we had together." Kim says having tears in her eyes.
She was about to say something else, but didn't say it.
"Just please go now! For me." Kim finishes off.
Paul turned around with a sad look on his face, he start to cry himself. Kim's time was almost up. He had to save himself. He turns away from her and begins to walk towards the exit of the cockpit. The water would be seeping through any second now.
Kim closed her eyes as she accepted her fate.
'I always liked you since the first day of high school. I wish I had the chance to tell you sooner.' Kim says in her mind. Her death nearing her.
Paul stopped walking and thought about something in his mind. He started to feel sorry for himself and got angry. He couldn't let someone that he cared for die again.
"Fucckk!" Paul yells to himself as he quickly takes off his suit jacket. His shirt still having 5 ripped claw patterns on it, from Shego's claw gloves.
He runs back towards Kim and goes straight towards the air duct.
He straight away starts lifting the heavy air duct again, as Kim reopened her eyes, shocked to see Paul still there trying to save her.
"Paul! W-what are you doing? I said to go NOW!"
"No one dies on my watch again." Paul says lifting with all his strength.
That's when he was able to finally lift the large not-air duct off her leg. It started to get higher than he lifted before. Kim gasps and eventually there was enough space to put her leg out of the entrapped airduct.
"GO GO GOOO!" Paul shouts as he struggles to hold the heavy vent.
She quickly removes her leg from the vent, as she rolls away from the vent, as he rear end still touching the ship's floor.
"Spankin!" She said with a smile. Paul drops the vent and collapses without Kim noticing it.
"Paul I could kiss you!…" She quickly covered her mouth for what she said. She then finally sees Paul on the floor. There was an immediate concern from the teen. He looked staggered. Tired from lifting that heavy vent. Maybe even popping a blood vessel.
"Paul!"
He was on the floor exhausted from lifting that up, he looked a bit dizzy. Kim finally gets up to see his full condition up close.
"Pau- OW! My leg!"
Kim holds her leg in pain. It most likely got fractured when the vent feel on her leg. Or even broken!
Both teens were on the floor with injury concerns, as the water started to seep inside the cockpit.
A flash of water comes through, wetting Paul's head
Paul started to get to regain himself and realise the current situation.
The ship starting to go underwayer
"Ah, that's going to hurt my brain in the morning. (Gasps) Kim, you're free! (Short Chuckle) I'm so glad you're saved. Come on! We gotta vamoose!" Paul says as he starts to get soaked from the cold water.
"I can't. My leg." Kim holds her leg in pain. The possibility of a leg fracture or broken leg was very likely in her books.
"I got you Kim." Paul looks at her and gets up. He runs towards her and swoops her up, bridal style.
"Ohh." Kim swoons at that.
Paul goes past to pick up his jacket and heads towards the nearest exit of water. He jumps off the sinking ship as he yells out while falling.
"HEEEEEYYAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
'SPLASSHHHHHHH!'
...
..
.
In they went into the cold water, where the nearest dry land was still about half a mile out.

Well that ended in a cliff-hanger. Kim's injured and Paul might be carrying a few injuries himself. They both managed to escape the sinking ship, but where to now?
Also apologies for the late post. Originally this was supposed to be posted unannounced on the 15th this month. But wanted to push forward to wrap this up by the end of 2022. It will be ferociously tight, but I will do my best in achieving that. With the schedule I have currently... No way.
But if I have at least 16-18 announced chapter then yes, it can be done. But let's take it one day at a time.
- The whole mission and inspiration for this episode/chapter came from author 'NeoMark' from his 'The Ghost and the Cheerleader Under the Mistletoe' fanfiction... Hey sue me. I'm giving the man credit. It's such a great story too. Nice crossover as well, I hope he completes it one day. I know it was supposed to be a one shot I think, but I quite enjoyed it and the other KP/DP Fanfics he's published in recent times. He's really changed the dynamic in Kim Possible and Danny Phantom Fanfics in the past few years. A special crossover that should have been produced by the creators of the show. Both having the same Character Designer, Stephen Silver. Both having almost the same timeline of production and both main characters are teen heroes, one who had a secret identity and the other one who's world famous for her deeds. This was a must in the 2000s. I think Disney didn't want to play ball with this one, but Nickelodeon wanted to I reckon. I mean look at the crossover with Timmy Turner and Jimmy Neutron... 3 TIMES!
