With 2021 underway, Kim Possible would have to start the new year wearing a moonboot. She was disappointed, because she would miss at least a fortnight worth of missions, sports, certain activities and cheerleading at school.

She just had to accept this and hoped she could be back in a few weeks time doing the activities she loves. Besides, it's better than drowning to her death.

At least by tomorrow she'll be back in school for the new year.

'Beep-Beep, De-Deep'

She hears the sound of her Kimmunicator device going off, interrupting her TV time at home. She answers the call.

"Hey Kim, how's your ankle?"

"Hey Wade. Yeah still recovering. Bit bored at times to be honest, I never thought I'd managed to watch all these Netflix shows so easily. So what's the sitch?"

"Well, I called you to say that Dr Director wants to speak to you. She has an urgent matter she wants to resolve. I've got Paul on the other line. Here he is."

"Hey Kim, I hope your ankle is healing well." Paul says as his face pops up on the screen. It was split with both Wade and Paul.

"Hey Paul. It is, thanks for asking." Kim says appreciating his kind words towards her recovery.

"All good." Paul says.

"Okay, I'm going to spectate this conference. Dr Director. The floors all yours."

"Thank you Wade." Dr Directors face popped up.

"Dr Director. It's been a while. How are things?" Kim greets the women.

"Great Miss Possible. I called you today because duty calls. You see we need you and partner Paul to help us investigate a disappearance of one of our close colleagues."

"Well I unfortunately can't help as I've been struck with a fractured leg injury." Kim says.

"Oh my! I'm terribly sorry to hear that Kim."

"But Paul can help you guys out. Right Paul?"

"100%"

"Are you sure Miss Possible?"

"Positive. He's part of Team Possible too." Kim says as Paul gave a reassuring grin and a small nod.

"Right. Of course. Could he come down to HQ at 3PM today?"

They all heard a loud thudding noise.

"Sure thing Dr Director." Paul says.

They hear a continues thudding sound in the background, like someone was banging onto something.

"Great. We will... Prepare for the meeting... Sorry about that noise. I think someone is using a hammer. They sure are noisy. Anyway see you soon." Dr Director signs off.

"Alright, I better get going. Ciao." Paul says as he leaves the video chat. Only Kim and Wade remained.

"What do you think Wade? Did I make the right decision?" Kim says.

"Hmm... We always have faith in him. I think you made the right decision." Wadesays.

"I hope I did." Kim says, hoping she didn't put too much pressure on him.

An Hour Later

Paul walks up towards Global Justice HQ, takes a look at the building from the short distance.

'Okay. This is the first time without Kim... Actually second time. Let's see if I can get the job done.' Paul says inside his mind.

He sees Will Du patiently waiting for him outside. Paul walks up to him.

"About time you came." Will says.

"And a hello to you too Will." Paul says.

"Let's get this meeting over with." Will says as he turns around to enter the building.

They both enter the elevator and Will takes off his glove to activate the handprint scan. Paul notices his right hand was bruised.

"What happened to your hand Will?" Paul asked.

"No questions please." Will says while putting his glove back on.

A few minutes later, they go into a private boardroom, consisting of Agent Du, Dr Director and Paul, who thought it would be a good idea for Kim to be in the room, via FaceTime. Having his device use a kickstand.

"Alright everyone is presented and accounted for, lets get down to business." Dr Director says as she presents a PowerPoint. A photo of a middle aged man. "This man here is Professor Sylvan Green. Born 21st April 1947. In the late 80s, he developed a top secret missile defence project, which proved to be vital in Operation Dessert Storm, it was called-" Dr Director explains before getting interrupted.

"The Sirenita Guided Missile Tracking System." Kim answers from the phone.

"Correct. Where did you get that information?"

"Off a government website."

"Oh. Uh... Right. Teens these days with their archives. Now this is Professor Green in his current state. Retired. Place of residence: Florida." Dr Director showing an elderly man with grey hair.

"And now he's disappeared."

"Let Dr Director finish, please Miss Possible." Will says.

"She's right though. Was that on the internet, too?" Dr Director asks.

"No, that was an educated guess."

"Well Kim, I would love to say if you could help us find Professor Green, but you're clearly unfit for this. So Paul here will be carrying out the task in hand" Dr Director says.

"100% Ma'am." Paul says.

"And Agent Du will be assisting you."

"I'm fine with that. The more people the easier to find your missing person. Now let's get back your professor." Paul says.

"Now that's the kind of spirit we need around here." Dr Director says.

"Very well. I work better alone though. I'm just saying out of proportion." Will says.

After the meeting finished, Paul and Agent Du were walking throughout GJ Headquarters as Will was reading a file of some sort relating to the mission.

"So we going to investigate his home? Interview neighbours? Witnesses? Organise a forensic squad? Find any known associates that may be involved? Surveillance footage around the binding ar-" Paul says all excited but he gets cut off.

"Would you please be quiet. You're voice is really irritating me. I'm starting to get a migraine from it."

"Irritating you? Agent Du, with all due respect. We're a team now. Meaning we need to work together, speak to each other and get with the program. Communication is the key to solve this case."

"My program is to babysit your ass until we found Professor Green. I'm only doing this for Dr Director because she respects me and I can't let her down. Now I got to take care of you and solve this investigation. Why in the holy mist didn't you get hurt as well, I can't process that!" Will starts to walk away from Paul.

Paul was furious at this and grabs Will's shoulder.

"I'll have you know Will. Kim could have lost her life that night! I saved her and you say this! Show some respect. Two teenagers could have drowned that night. We had a moment in the hovercraft, what happened to that Will Du from the hovercraft?" Paul says, as Will flicks his arm off his shoulder.

"Correction. Had a moment. We moved past that and never speak of it again. Capeesh?"

"..."

"Capeesh!" Will says louder.

"... I'm not even going to respond to that after what you said." Paul says.

Will looks at him.

"You have school tomorrow. We'll be leaving Middleton at 3:30PM sharp. We'll be using my hoverjet to get to Florida."

Will begins to walk off.

Paul realised what he got himself into. No Kim, just him and Will Du. But what a prick for saying that kind of stuff to Paul about Kim's dice with death.

'DING DONG'

The door opens up revealed to be Paul. He had arrived at the Possible household.

"Good morning Ann. Is Kim ready yet?" He asks as he walks through the door.

"Morning Paul. She's just having some breakfast."

"Oh okay. I just wanted to help carry her books."

"She told me. I think it's very sweet of you to help her like that." Ann says, delighted her friend wanted to help her.

"It's no problem Ann. I don't want her struggling when she's got the crutches."

"Well it's great you care for her so much. I'll drop her off at school and you carry her books. She said she wanted to walk home today and see Wade." Ann says.

"That's all good." Paul says.

Almost half of the day went by and it was now home time... For most people.

"Here you go Kim." Paul places Kim's backpack on her shoulders.

"Thanks so much Paul. You've been a wonder helping me out."

"No big." Paul says says.

"Hey, that's my line." Both teens simultaneously stop talking and stare at each other surprised.

Paul playfully scoffs, before bursts a laugh out of his system, followed by Kim laughing too. He knew exactly what Kim would say.

They start to walk towards the gym so Kim can see how cheerleading practice goes. Unfortunately unable to be participating in today's practice.

"So I have to go soon with Agent Du, you gonna be fine walking to Wade's house?"

"I'll be alright. Carrying my backpack shouldn't be a problem. I'm actually excited to see how he runs behind the scenes in his room. I always wanted to know what he did while I'm out on the field, it will be like watching from Wade's point of view. Then he wants to discuss some future projects of his gadgets. He's stoked about our new budget."

"I'm glad I could help. The man is the engine room that feeds us info around the world and provides us with the gadgets. He needs the best equipment and hardware he can get his hands on to help us." Paul says.

They enter the gym and spot Agent Du on the top end of the bleachers on his laptop

Paul gives him a wave, but fails to notice it. Paul slowly puts his hand down in an awk-weird way. He was a bit embarrassed at that moment. Like trying to high five someone and they leave you hanging.

"K. P." They hear a familiar voice.

Kim hangs her head down, as she mentally sighs. Come to think of it, Bonnie never said her nickname KP before. "Yes Bonnie."

"No, I said K and P. Like Kim and Paul."

Both look at each other, as Paul asks the brunette girl what she wants.

"What do you want from us Bonnie?" Paul says.

"Tell your creepy man friend to leave us alone. We can't concentrate with grown man watching us practice." Bonnie complains.

"I haven't even said a peep to you guys." Will says from a distance.

"He's working with us Bonnie. He'll be out of your way in 10 minutes tops." Paul said.

"Whatever." Bonnie says not happy about the agent being in the same room as her.

Kim and Paul retire to the bottom row of the bleachers. Paul was almost ready to leave the gymnasium with Will.

"So you going to be fine here?" Paul asks her friend.

"Yeah sure. I'll probably leave in about an hour. Just wanna see the girls do the routine. See how they are going."

"Of course." Paul says.

He continued to rummage through his bag as Kim watched the cheerleading squad. Bonnie was the one leading them today and hopefully all the leadership and power won't go to her head.

"Okay girls, time to start the new routine." Bonnie declares.

Too late.

"New Routine? What the hell?" Kim said. She got up from the bleachers and went towards Bonnie. Paul watches Kim stops Bonnie from talking.

"Bonnie what are you doing?" Kim says.

"Oh I was just getting ready for cheer practice."

"But you said a new routine."

"Right." Bonnie says.

"What happened to the same one we used all of last year?"

"Well I since you're injured, I thought I could mix it up a bit."

"Okay. And then you'll practice the original routine." Kim says.

"Well... There's another thing. I decided that I should start a fundraiser."

"Fundraiser? For what?"

"To support the cheerleaders of course. Maybe you can sell a few boxes of cookies? You'll have plenty of time on your hands."

"Well, I guess I could sell a few of them. Might take some time though."

"Great! Oh and once the fundraiser ends, we'll decide on a permanent team captain. The one who makes the most money of course. And votes by the-" Bonnie says rather quickly, but Kim was quick enough to hear what Bonnie said.

"Woah! woah! woah! What!?" Needless to say, Kim was shocked and not happy at this newly found information. "Bonnie, we agreed to be co captains. Now that I'm confined with crutches and a moonboot! How am I supposed to sell those cookies!" Kim says.

"Hmm, I'm pretty certain on your website it has the slogan. 'I can do anything'. Now will you be joining us today?" Bonnie says. She clearly knows that Kim can't practice in her current state.

"You know I can't Bonnie."

"Oh. Well get off the floor and take a seat." Bonnie says shooing off Kim.

"You can't do this Bonnie! We made an agreement that both of us would be captains. I mean, I have a responsibility outside of school, but I give 110% for the team! And everything else I do." Kim says pleading that she gives her best effort, even when she's fighting bad guys.

"Well think about Kim. Half the time you're not at school. You miss practices and it's hard when two captains aren't together for the same session. Think of it as a reality check. Maybe one day you'll get back up. But right now, you're position is open for discussion, but now please Kim. I've wasted enough time talking. We need to practice."

"But- But..."

"Look Kim, we can discuss about this when your legs better. Okay?" Bonnie says.

Kim slumps her shoulders in defeat. She was quite upset at this, but she simply couldn't fight for her spot while injured. Knowing Bonnie, she will just take over her spot while she's out of action. Frustrated by this as she walks with her crutches towards the bench, taking a seat next to Paul. He stares at her, who looked pretty defeated right now.

Will Du still working on his laptop on the upper end of the bleachers while Paul felt like he should have a word with Bonnie. So he decides to get up from the bleachers and walks right up to Bonnie.

"Bonnie that isn't fair. She's been seriously hurt and all you care about is who's going to be the next cheer captain?" Paul says.

"I do care! Really I am. I'm doing what's best for the team. You don't think I care about Kim?" Bonnie says.

"Inside, yes. Outside, no."

"What?"

"You heard me." Paul folds his arms.

"Look, maybe it's best to have one captain instead. Plus she's so busy with saving the world and all! She hasn't had a straight week of cheer practice since the beginning of high school." Bonnie says.

"Oh I see... Then I'm guessing you want the world to be overrun by these guys trying to rule the earth? Conflict of wars and not live our best lives."

"No, I'm not saying that! She's doing a great job with that and all. But I'm worried th-"

"(Stammers) Bullshit Bonnie. I know you want Kim gone as captain. I-I mean, what about the other girls? Why you all so quiet? Can't you guys stick up for your other captain? Huh?" Paul says speaking to the other members of the cheer squad.

"Don't be ridiculous. Girls, would you keep two captains on the team or one?" Bonnie says.

"I think they prefer two captains Bonnie." Paul says.

"Well Bonnie does have a point. She's not at school everyday." Hope says.

"And it's important that our leaders are present during all practices." Jessica says.

Paul was star struck what they were saying.

"Bonnie's the only one that has come to all the practices last year." Liz speaks up.

"If Kim were to maintain here spot as co captain. She should be here at every cheer practice." Crystal says.

Most of the girls agree, but Paul was bamboozled.

He was completely taken back what they thought about Kim's co captaincy. He immediately thought something was wrong.

Did Bonnie perhaps say something to them?

Manipulate or threaten these girls?

Threated to kick them out of the squad?

Put them on the spot?

Because they sure ain't the same girls from Camp Wannaweep, that's for sure!

"Because she's risking her life to prevent the world from getting taken over, preventing war. World War III, collapse of democracy on federal, state or local government! Economical crisis, dictatorships. Monica Lewinsky and President Clinton... Okay that's hard to stop. But the list goes on." Paul says.

...

"What's going on with you guys?" Paul says.

All the girls, except Bonnie fidgeted nervously.

"Tara. You seriously not going to stick up for Kim?" Paul says.

She was quiet too.

Paul knew the quiet stance.

The silence.

The thanks he gets for Camp Wannaweep.

"So this is the thanks I get for saving you guys at Camp Wannaweep." Paul says.

All the girls eyes widen when he said that. Most felt guilty, but of course only one was...

You know who that is. She didn't really seem to care that much.

It was Bonnie you numbskull!

"Ha... Some reception. Screw you Bonnie, this ain't over." Paul says before walking away.

Bonnie scoffs.

"Don't worry about him girls. By next year, we won't be seeing him around anymore."

Paul stops walking for a second as he heard Bonnie. Kim heard this and didn't want to think about that thought. It was still a long way away from happening, but she will dread the day when it happens.

He turns around and walks back to Bonnie.

"What if I wanted to help Kim when I'm back at home?" Paul says.

Kim who has been hearing every word he said, heard this and kept replying in her mind.

She would be able to see her crush after his two year spell. And get help with her missions!

Kim felt her heart warming. Oh how joyful it was for her to hear that.

"If Ron couldn't do it, how can you?" Bonnie says.

"I could try. It will be hard, I'm not gonna lie there. But she's my friend. Even if it means to stay here in Middleton... I'm willing to sacrifice it." Paul says.

Some of the girls thought this was a selfless act. He was legit going to go out of his way to ensure Kim manages to stop evil around the world.

Tara thought this was romantic.

Kim thought she was dreaming. Maybe if she woke up, her leg would be fine.

But she tried and reality was still in front of her. But one that she couldn't believe with the words coming out of the teen's mouth.

"Aww... how lame. Look I need to get practice started, you can have this box of cookies. They're on the house." Bonnie says holding out a box of cookies towards him.

"I don't want your damn cookies." Paul says. Bonnie lowers the box as the other teen gestures towards Kim, "You see that girl there. She's lost her best friend after almost a decade of being together. Ripped out of her life out of thin air. Not her fault... But she's had a hard time adapting to being a one girl show for months, until I agreed to join her, with months of successful missions and she's got a fractured leg after a mission that went wrong! And now you're going to take away her pride and joy of cheerleading?" Paul says.

"Kim will still be on the team, I can guarantee that." Bonnie says.

"But not as captain! I'm convinced you promised all these girls something. They aren't like this. I know."

"I don't thi-"

"Girls. Tell me... Did Bonnie make a promise to you guys if you vote her as captain?" Paul asks the girls.

All the girls looked on at him.

He knew that they wouldn't all completely side with Bonnie on this. Most had respect for Kim too. Probably majority like Kim better than Bonnie.

"Come oooooon. Be honest. Because I'll found out!" Paul says.

Tara couldn't take it anymore and raised her hand.

"She said she would get new uniforms for the team."

Bonnie mentally cursed at this. Her face cringed as soon as Tara spoke up, almost like she ate a sour lemon. And oh boy she was pissed at her best friend for squealing like that.

Paul nods his head slightly.

"Alright..." He said slowly. He turns to Bonnie, "Sold out for a 5 dollar uniform."

"It's not 5 doll-"

"To make Bonnie! To make! Not buy!" Paul says interrupting Bonnie.

He looks down before looking back at Bonnie eyes.

"You know, presentation is important, but the main thing about sport is performance. Not about reputation and who's got the best outfit. There are awards for those too, but they certainly don't win you 'Best Cheerleading Team' award. It's about what you can do out there, heart and soul into cheerleading. Not tacky, fancy outfits."

"Thanks for the speech Seth Rogen." Bonnie says sourly. She clearly didn't like being lectured.

"Oh that's funny. Seth Rogen, because I've got glasses and I'm not Jewish. I'd say break a leg, but if that happens someone else would replace you as well."

Some of the girls snickered at this, receiving a death glare from Bonnie. They stopped snickering.

"Well if Kim was able to be practice, her position would have been fine."

"And the fundraiser? Not even a charitable donation?" Paul says.

"Some of it will go to a charity and the rest will be used to facilitate the cheerleading team, but the girls will vote for the next permanent captain."

"While she's at her most vulnerable time." Paul says.

"Well I can't stop her from getting injured." Bonnie says.

Paul was starting to get agitated at this girl again.

"Kim and I were on a mission. What happened was unexcepted and a shock to myself. Especially her. Recovering from an injury is very important. She needs to rest and fully recover her leg. What more could I have done for her?" Paul says starting to get on edge.

"Well maybe she should be more careful next time." Bonnie says.

And that sir was the breaking point.

"SHE COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!" Paul says angrily.

Everyone stared at Paul from his outburst. He had it up to... No... Yep. Here with Bonnie.

"Are you fucking dense Bonnie? You've got a co captain, who nearly died. Who's got a fracture on her leg and you want to take over while she's down, out and can't defend her own spot!"

"Well... I wanted to-"

"Y-you wanted what Bonnie. Do what's best for the team? To take over as captain. Selling these boxes of cookies! Just to side with the rest of the team! Get them on your side." Paul taps the box of cookies Bonnie was holding.

"I-I ju-"

"Nooo I think you spoken enough today. I've had it with your prejudice bullshit!" Paul says pointing up his finger to gesture Bonnie to shut it, before looking at box of cookies that Bonnie was holding.

"Gimme that." Paul snatches the cookie box from Bonnie, getting a gasp out of her and proceeds to tosses the box against the wall from a far distance.

"That's what I think about your cookies!" Paul says.

Bonnie was indeed shocked.

"What's wrong Bonnie? Cat got your tongue as well?"

Bonnie had nothing to say, neither did her teammates.

Paul burnt Bonnie with what she said to Kim earlier last year, when she snapped at Paul last year.

He remembers things that bite you in the backside down the track.

"Will. Let's go, I don't want to see this girl's face anymore." Paul says.

There was no answer from him.

...

"Will?" Paul says again.

"Oh. You're talking to me?" Will was quiet shaken as well he didn't realise Paul said his name the first time around.

"You're name's Will? Right?" Paul says.

"Right." He quickly closes his laptop and faces the redhead, "Kim." Will gives Kim a small nod before walking towards the exit.

Paul grabbed all of his stuff and was about to walk out before turning back to Bonnie from a distance.

"Oh and for the record! I could have donated money to buy new cheerleader uniforms, because my friend Kim has an interest in this club. She too could also donate and organise cheerleader uniforms as well, but it's up to her, whether she wants to invest or not."

He was about to walk out, but he passes by the box of cookies on the floor that he throw a few moments ago.

He decides to kick and stomping on them.

Everyone was watching him.

Still kicking but he stops doing it. He sighs as he picks up the box from the floor and exits the gym.

The girls couldn't see him anymore, but before the gym door closes they heard a voice call out.

"Hey! Free cookies!"

The gym door slams shut.

Attention was back to the girls. As for Kim she couldn't handle the tension as she slowly got up and walked away from the bleachers, as a delipidated Bonnie looks on.

She poked the bear again. Which made her think more than ever before... Something she hasn't felt in many years.

Some time had past and Will Du was flying his hoverjet towards Florida, hoping to talk to the team out there who investigated the scene already, some possible witnesses and neighbours in regards to Professor Green's disappearance. Paul now in his mission outfit. The black suit. Was looking pretty upset about what happened in the gym. He was staring out the window glazing at the altitude of the hoverjet.

"Hey. You okay?" Will asks.

"What do you care Agent Du?"

"You're right. I don't. But we need to keep our minds on this case. Straight heads. No distractions."

"I'll be fine once we get to the crime scene." Paul states.

"Good, the quicker we solve this, the better." Will says, as Paul looks out the window again. He really didn't feel like going on the mission today.

After what Bonnie said, he was really pissed off at her. Kim's life was at stake and all she can say is to be more careful?

She wasn't there to witness Kim glazing with death on that ship.

"So what we have here is a sign of no struggle whatsoever." The detective says. Right now Will and Paul were inside Professor Green's house in Florida. "The kidnapper just waltz right through the door, snatched old greeny, managed to dodge every CCTV surveillance around the neighbourhood and left no fingerprint on anything at all, but we noticed an item at the crime scene." The detective holds up a golf ball.

"A golf ball?" Paul says.

His targets have narrowed down now. Only one villain was involved with golf. But still too early to call it.

"Well Professor Green was retired. Many people who are retired usually play golf as a hobby." Will says. It was true, but the teen had a hunch.

"Hmm. I'll be right back Will." Paul says as he walks away from the two. Once alone, he pulls out his Paulinator device and contacts Kim.

"Kim. Could you please find out about Professor Green's hobbies, activities or if he's in any groups in Florida or around the US."

"On it."

"And see if there's anything relating to golf."

"Golf?"

"Yep."

"Okay, Wade and I... Well mostly Wade, will do the best we can and send back what we've got."

"Great. Thanks Kim." Paul signs off the call. He had a potential suspect in his mind. It was likely to be Duff Killigan.

"Gee, it sure is amazing how you do this so quickly Wade." Kim compliments as she watches Wade at work. He was flying on his PC

"Thanks Kim. I'm a really fast typer. 137 words per minute is my current record. Pushing for 140 very soon." Wade says.

"That's outrageous." Kim says grinning at her friend. Her grins starts to fade away.

"What's wrong Kim?"

"Nothing Wade. Just been thinking recently."

"About?" Wade asks.

Kim was reluctant to say, but she has been brave about opening up in recent times.

"About Paul."

Wade turns his full attention towards her.

"No Wade. It's okay. You still need to-"

"It's done. Plus you're more important than this." Wade says.

Kim smiles at this. She had such a great team and certain individuals that care about her. "Thanks Wade. It's just... Today, Paul backed me up against Bonnie."

"He yelled at Bonnie again?" Wade says. He obviously knows about the other times Paul told off Bonnie.

It ain't the first time this has happened.

"I just think... Sometimes he gets a bit too angry. I-I mean, I absolutely appreciate him stepping in and all."

"Well he does have a right. Especially if she says something out of line or belittles you." Wade says.

"But I think it's unhealthy at times. Have you ever seen him angry before?" Kim asks, as Wade thinks.

"I mean I haven't seen him get angry, but when it involves his friends he can sure stick up for them."

"He sure can Wade. He really can." Kim says. She grins thinking about him. She boldly asks Wade a question she's replayed in her mind since she left school today, "You think he'll stay?"

Wade was stumped by that question. Of course, he wanted Paul to stick around, but...

"Hard to say. I reckon he'll miss his family. But I'm sure he'll keep in touch with us."

"I think he will always stay in touch with us, I don't think he's the type to forget about us... I wish he can stay though." Kim says leaning on the desk.

'We all do Kim. It's hard to take in. But we can't decide for him. He's the one that decides. Plus it's a program, he might have problems getting a student visa, plus some regulations. The typical American stuff people go through."

"Yeah. You're right Wade." Kim says sadly. Wade was right about almost everything. But Kim hoped he was wrong about this.

"Well? How long do you think it will take them to get back to you?" Will asks Paul. Both were outside the house

"It's only been 4 minutes. The team is going to search everything they can found about-"

'Beep-Beep, De-Deep'

"Aw I told her not to use that ringtone!" Paul says as he picks up the call.

"Yes Kim?"

"We found out everything you need to know about Professor Green." Kim says.

"That was fast."

"Which should be my middle name." Wade adds.

"But it isn't. If you can, just read out his activities." Paul asks.

"Apparently Professor Green was into gardening, botany, experimental fertilizers. His lawn won the Blue Grass Ribbon four years in a row!" Wade says.

"Wow! A 4 peat."

"And this is relevant because?" Will overhead this and questioned the team's research.

"Uh well-"

"I conclude it's pointless." Will says.

"Hey, he's a kid man. Don't bring him down. Anything related to golf?"

"Nothing that links Professor Green and golf, but I have a theory who's behind all of this."

"Duff Killigan." Both teens says simultaneously.

"Yeah, I had my suspicions too, anything relating to golf, you point the finger to him." Paul says.

"Duff Killigan? I better check the GJ database for any records." Will says pulling out his GJ tablet.

"Plus Wade said experimental fertilizers. Didn't we confiscate his first batch of his instant growth formula a while back? He's probably back making a second batch of this formula." Paul states.

"Actually third time. First time he did it and failed... quite miserably. So Will, should be search for Duff's current whereabouts?" Kim corrects and asks.

"Looks promising... Has a criminal record...Banned from every golf course... Too early to call." Will concludes.

"Wait, we have a suspect we can question. Maybe we can go check him out?" Paul says.

"Do we have any proof that he kidnapped Professor Green?" Will asks.

"That golf ball!" Paul says.

"It has no fingerprints on it. Plus golf? Really? Why would a golfer kidnap a retired professor?" Will says.

"What did I just say 7 lines ago?"

"He wanted to create another batch of a growth formula, I know. But the team found a trace of Hyperactic acid, which is illegal and it can only be bought on the Black Market... And Craigslist." Will says.

"Who's Craigslist?"

"Craigslist. The website."

"... Nope. Still nothing." Paul says.

"It's like eBay, but less trustworthy." Will explains.

"You mean like Gumtree?"

"Don't know what that is." Will says.

"But this hyperactic acid could be used to create Duff Killigans instant golf course formula." Paul states.

"Might be used to create a super bomb or nuclear weapons. Why would anyone use this acid to grow instant golf courses? It's not even an evil scheme."

"I feel like I'm talking to myself." Paul says. "And this Professor had this illegal acid in his possession because?"

"Don't know why."

"Oh geez." Paul says. This entire time, Wade and Kim were still active on Paul's device. "Wade, scrap that 4 peat, he might have to be disqualified for juicing up his garden."

Back in the air, Will was flying towards an address in Florida that his GJ team gave him.

"The team and I gave you a name already. Duff Killigan. He's obsessed with golf. The report said that the room had a trace of knockout gas used! It was concealed inside the golf ball. What more evidence do you want?"

"Duff or not. We can't waste time on trails that aren't reliable. Right now we are meeting with the seller who sold that hyperactic acid to the kidnapper. If the seller says his or her name, and it matches the description. Then we got our kidnapper."

"Right. So do we need backup?" Paul says.

"I was hoping you be the muscle for this." Will says.

Incredibly Paul was slightly taller than Will, him being at least minimum 15 years older than him.

"So you want me to do 50 pushups before we go see him?" Paul says.

Will just rolls his eyes at that comment.

Will and Paul walk up to a white house as the hoverjet was parked out the front.

"Are you sure this is the right place? Last time I checked, people involved with the Black Market usually flow under the radar." Paul says, gesturing at the white suburban house, instead of an dimly lit apartment unit with a creepy European guy inside.

"Trust me. The boys back at GJ reckon the seller of that hyperactic acid is inside that house."

"Can't argue with that. That's why they pay them the big bucks." Paul says.

"Not that big. Probably average wage to above average."

Agent Du rings the doorbell and the door opens up.

"Hi. We need to ask some questions about selling hyperactic acid on the Black Market. Have you sold any recently to anyone?"

"What! Get out of here before I call the cops on you goddamn racists!" An African-American guy with a tag on his jumper which said 'Hi! My Name Is Mark Ette'.

Both boys were confused and backed away slowly from the house. Will was quiet embarrassed by this screw up.

Back up in the air, both guys were very quiet. More the less than shocked.

"That guy... definitely was not involved with Black Market." Paul speaks up for the first time since getting back inside the hoverjet.

"I was thinking, why he would operate in a small suburban household. Anyway, minor setback, the boys have dug deeper and found out that the seller was Big Daddy Brotherson."

"What the fuck?... Big Daddy Brotherson? I swear, I've heard some ridiculous names recently. Bob Stone, McGee Gale Hasland, Will Du."

"Yes?" Will says, thinking Paul was talking to him.

"Doesn't it bother your name sounds like 'Will Do pal?'. Imagine if I hear the names, Al E Gator, Levy Tate.. Uhhh...Ben Dover-"

2 Minutes Of Funny, Phonetic Pun Names Later

"-Jay Walker, Crystal Ball, Joe King and Dick Tate." Paul finishes off.

"Probably a coincidence?"

"Coinci- Bro, there's no coincidence for this. It feels like I'm being Punk'd with all these names." Paul said.

"Do you feel like this everyday?"

"Every few weeks or so... Yes!"

"Maybe your overreacting."

"Alright Will, If I'm overreacting then tell me... What's your father's name?"

"Ken Du."

Glass breaks.

"Yep.. Fucking unreal." Paul says lounging in his seat. Before he laughs like a duck slapping his knee.

Will looks over at him and starts to chuckle, before connecting the dots, by repeating his father's name.

"Now I get what you mean." Will says laughing as well.

Both boys laugh as they hover through the sky.

Both reached a big man with some heavy hitters surrounding him.

"Well that overweight fellow looks like BDB." Paul says.

"Why don't you say his full name?" Will asks.

"You really feel comfortable saying the word Dad... You know?"

"Not really actually." Will Du says.

"And it doesn't even sound like a real name. Like it's some code or a nickname."

"Jesus you fucking complain a lot." Will says.

"Just pointing out things man." Paul says.

Both walk up to the man, as Will speaks up.

"Hi there. Are you Big Daddy Brothe-" Will stops speaking and realises something, "Yeah you're right about that. It does feels weird."

"Told ya." Paul says.

"That depends?"

"Depends on what?" Will says.

"A lot of things."

Both guys stare at each other.

"Look, sir we don't have time for games. We need to figure out about some who bought Hyperactic acid. lives are at stake" Paul says.

"Aw that's too bad." Big Daddy Brotherson says.

"Why's that?" Will says.

"Because my friend here wanted to play a game of thud with you two."

"Thud?" Both say.

'CLICK'

A set of fingers clicked.

The bodyguard had a smile on his face as he grabbed Will first and throws across the room, landing on his back, just a few meters away.

Paul dodges him before pulling out something out of his pocket. It was small, but it tripled in size.

"Peak a boo!" Paul rams a nightstick in his kneecap multiple times. He winces in pain and he whacks the night stick to his head as it was lowered. He falls to the ground.

He was more concerned about his knee, rather than his head. Will regains his composure, before standing next to Paul again.

"Hey I think your pal, Elmer Fudd here want's to play 'Thud' again? How about your other buddy?" Paul says pointing the nightstick at him.

The bigger bodyguard cowers in fear behind Big Daddy Brotherson.

"Damn. What do you weight? 140?" Paul says.

"Pounds?" Du says.

"No. Kilos."

"Ah, curse the metric system."

"Works better than your system. 'What's one mile in metres? 1600 metres.' Like what the fuck? How they hell are you supposed to keep that number in your head 24/7?" Paul says.

"It just works. Now then, a name. Who did you sell hyperactic acid to?" Will questions

"Joey. And uh lots of people."

Both boys weren't buying this. It appeared this guy was a time waster. But Paul was willing to see if he cracks.

"Just give us a name." Paul says as he puts away his nightstick.

"Aren't your parents supposed to do that?" DBD says.

Paul had enough, but had to be careful of this guy. He look like he knew a guy. And let's leave it at that.

"Look. I'm tired and pissed off. I'm not in the mood for your games. Now I don't care if you're a cooperate sell-out or a gangbanger. Tell us what you know about a guy that bought hyperactic acid and we'll leave you be. If not, maybe your other buddy is interested in playing Thud and I'll do he's kneecaps in for free. And based on his BMI, I think he'll need a wheelchair afterwards." Paul says.

"Look sir, we have one rule in this establishment: Client confidentiality. The privacy of the client is always important to us."

...

"What do you mean by us?" Paul says turning the tables on the man.

"Sorry?" BDB asks confused.

"What. Do you mean... By us?" Paul says slowly.

"I'm.. I'm not followi- Oh...Ohhhhh. You cheeky bastard. (Laughs)"

Big Daddy Brotherson starts laughing, Paul just smiles at him. Will was clueless at this.

"You almost had me there." Big Daddy wags his fat finger at the teen. "That was a good one (Laughs) BOYS!" A dozen bodyguards show up. They surround both Will and Paul, "Show our guests the exit."

"We just want a name!" Paul yells out.

"Fredrick!" Big Daddy says.

"Not that." Paul says, as three guys try and capture him, but all three get each other instead. Dodging the stockpile.

"Maybe a guy called Duff?" Paul asks, before a guy grabs his arm and Paul retaliates with a punch to the head.

"Duff? Duffman from the Simpsons? Love his catchphrase. Oh yeah!"

"Stop lolly gagging!" Will says as he beats up a guy.

"But I'm not chocking on lollies."

Paul gets hold back by two guards as he pushes them off. "Ehh! No more puns!" His anger spills out onto the bodyguards.

He proceeds to tackle and beat up a few bodyguards surround him. A minute later all the body guards were taken care of. He was exhausted. Puffing and huffing from the fighting. Will looks on in amazement. He barely took down half of the guards.

"Woah" Will says.

"AHHHHHHHH!" The last guard shouts across the room making it obviously he was charging at both guys. Paul ready to fight again.

But the guard trips over one of the unconscious bodyguard's arm on the floor. Tripping, he slides across the tiles making a loud and long squeaky sound. Paul walks toward him and aims the nightstick at his knee in the type of a golf swing, hits him as he gets a small grunt from him.

Paul stares at the overweight man.

Big Daddy Brotherson just gulps as all his bodyguards were taken out. Him and Will managed to take down every guy in the room, as Big Daddy was the only one left standing.

"Alright enough! We played it the nice way. We played it the hard way." Will says getting angry.

"We played it the semi-medium-easy-hard way with the addition of beating up guys way. If you don't tell us a name that you sold that hyperactic acid to... I'll bust your head in." Paul says holding out his nightstick towards him, in a threaten way.

DBD stared at him nervously. Him being overweight, you could see he had sweat stains under his armpits and forehead. He was out of choices. All his men were taken down.

Both were looking at each other for a while. DBD looks down at Paul's night stick, before looking back up at him.

...

..

.

"Well? (Leans his head)... We're waiting." Paul says with a smiling while pointing at his watch.

Author Notes:

Looks like a Mexican Standoff is about to end. But for who?

- I know every 3-4 chapters I drop the potentially slow burn between Kim and Paul, but that's how the story goes. She did finally kiss him on the check for his heroic bravery on Christmas Eve/Day.

- Wade originally could type 300W per minute in the show, but that's soo unrealistic. 140 words in a minute is more realistic.

- That Black Market joke is from a 'psychicpebbles' video. HellBenders. Always loved that line and the build up for the joke

- The last line of the chapter is from the film, Caddyshack (1980) The Famous line was quoted by Ted Knight.

Well guys. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Again, this was a late chapter, so see you in about 8 days time. Until then.. Take Care!
