Roberto watched helplessly as the scenery around him changed. He couldn't focus, he couldn't breathe, and his vision tunneled. Roberto fixed his eyes upwards and he heard Blu's call for him. "I'm sorry." Roberto apologized softly. His cage smashed against the Amazon's floor and he lost consciousness.
"If you must know, I was the reason you even have this position as a patroller."
"Do your best with the opportunity your father has given you. Fulfill what your old man couldn't."
"Do your best…"
"Son."
Roberto's eyes shot open and he saw a light brown ceiling. "A dream?" Roberto spoke quietly to himself until he felt a sharp pain in the back of his head. It throbbed, he winced from the pain and tilted his head up again. His vision of the ceiling was slightly obstructed by metal bars and he looked around himself. His eyes widened as he realized there were bars all around him, a distinct ringing consumed his ears. His heart started to beat rapidly, his breath quickened and he wanted to scream but nothing came out. The ringing was overwhelming, his body was shutting down until a scream gave him his ears. It was not a single scream but multiple, from voices he knew. Roberto focused his vision and looked around, his tribe screamed and cried. Elderly, children and adults alike cried for their freedom. Tears, screeching mouths and frozen bodies. That was all Roberto could perceive, he was transfixed by their unimaginable anguish. "Roberto!" A voice called to Roberto and he looked to his left and right quickly.
"Up here!" Roberto looked in front of himself and upwards. "Lucas!" Roberto cried his friend's name in relief. "It's good that you're awake. Are you alright?" Roberto simply nodded. "You've been out for a while. I don't know how to calm everyone, it's chaos!" Lucas spoke urgently but Roberto could only listen. Even with seeing his friend again, the situation still overwhelmed him. Lucas looked at Roberto's face, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have sprung that on you." Roberto smiled at his friend's apology.
"I… think I can do something." Roberto spoke shakily.
"Are you sure? Maybe you should take a second." Lucas' responded
Roberto paused for a second and took in his surroundings fully, he saw his tribe but also other birds. They seemed perfectly calm as if they'd been there a long time. Although he could see somewhat of the full picture now, Roberto was still reeling from the whole situation. His mind was still gripped by an intense fear. He thought of what he wanted to say but he couldn't think of anything he truly believed. If he didn't believe in what he said then no one would, so he kept moving through his mind. Thinking, trying to see what it is he needed to say until he found something. It wasn't words but a memory from so long ago.
"Happy birthday Berto!" Jewel smiled and Blu followed suit.
"I thought we were saying it together." Blu frowned at Jewel.
"Sorry, I got a bit too excited." Jewel apologized.
"Thanks a lot guys." Roberto smiled. Even still, he cast his head down as something clouded his mind.
"What's wrong?" Jewel asked. Roberto looked up at his friend and smiled. "Nothing at all!" Roberto put on a fake smile that made both Jewel and Blu give him a straight face.
"Roberto, there's a reason you don't lie. It's because you're terrible at it."
"The absolute worst." Blu followed up on Jewel's statement.
"Didn't know you guys were a two man act." Roberto said as he dropped his facade and sighed.
"Well it wouldn't happen if you told us the truth." Jewel pressed. Roberto looked at both of their faces and couldn't hold out.
"It's my old man, he told me this morning that it's about that time I start taking "my job" seriously." Roberto scoffed. His friends were confused and Blu spoke up. "What job?"
"Becoming the leader of the tribe." Roberto chuckled slightly at the idea.
"So your dad wants you to become the leader?" Jewel asked and Roberto nodded
"Funny thing is even if I wanted to become the tribe leader, I have no idea how to do it anyway! I mean I just turned eleven!" Roberto laughed at the idea.
"Well let's say you do become the leader. What do you think a leader is?" Blu asked much to Roberto's surprise.
"I don't know, I mean it ain't happening anyway so why does it matter?" Roberto dismissed Blu's question.
"You're gonna be a patroller, so you'll have to lead eventually." Jewel countered.
"Give it a rest! I mean what would I even say when everyone's down and out?" Roberto asked, feeling as though the question would stump his friend. Jewel got closer to him and pointed a feather to his chest.
"Whatever you feel there." She smiled sincerely at her friend and Blu smiled as well.
"You always knew what to say to cheer me up when we were younger. I'm sure you can do it as many times as you need." Blu's confident response made Jewel smile even wider.
"This is my birthday! I don't need a lecture!" Roberto yelled embarrassed. Jewel and Blu laughed at his blushing face.
"Roberto!" At the call of his name, Roberto opened his eyes and looked at Lucas. "I know what to say…I've always known." Roberto's voice wrapped Lucas in a veil of assurance.
"Don't talk to me, talk to them!" Lucas said confidently.
"Right." Roberto looked to his panicking tribe determined.
"Everyone!" Roberto yelled. His voice boomed and echoed thanks to the walls.
"I know you're scared. I am too but we can't let humans take our hope! We can get through this, I know it!" Roberto felt his heart sink. "I saw you all cry, your faces and your pain I… I… I won't let this be how it ends! I will save us, but I need you to believe in me now!" Roberto choked as he finished. Everyone heard his words as did the other birds. They felt his confidence and emotion, believing his words wholeheartedly.
"Really? Escape is impossible." A bird retorted. Roberto looked at the girl who sat in the cage across from him, she had a white body and black feathers surrounding her eyes.
"There is no coming back. My family was taken eleven years ago. My tribe loved talking about how they could escape any human trap. Yet they never came back." She looked on at Roberto with hopeless, stern eyes.
"I will save everyone here, that's a promise." Roberto's words had a distinct bite. However, the girl didn't waiver.
"Big talk for a bird in a cage." The girl's response was effortless as if she didn't have to think about her words at all.
"Tell me your name." Roberto demanded.
"Beatriz." The girl answered.
"Thanks, I'll need it for when I prove you wrong." Beatriz laughed at Roberto's words but he bore a serious expression. His words were that of a hero but he believed them wholeheartedly.
"Good luck then." Beatriz said, closing her scarlet eyes.
Roberto remained firm and nodded to Lucas. "I'll follow your lead, we all will." Sofia, Ana and Gustavo all nodded. Roberto hadn't noticed how close they were to him until then, seeing their smiling faces reminded him of Blu and Jewel.
"Then keep the tribe calm and I'll take care of the rest." Roberto's confidence washed over all of the patrollers. Several hours passed and Roberto noticed everyone's fatigue setting in. They were fading fast which meant nightfall was getting closer. Before then, Roberto had to gather more information about what was around him. Thanks to the small circular holes in the truck he was able to see much easier and he noticed every cage had a lock on them, the majority with small ones that could be unlocked by hand and few with a padlock. However unfamiliar, the way they worked seemed obvious at first glance. He pulled on the lock to his cage with all his strength but it wouldn't budge. Roberto then noticed the hole in the bottom of the lock. He placed one of his claws into the hole and moved it around, feeling the grooves and contours of the lock. The deeper he got into the mechanism, the more it tightened around his claw. He could feel the metal cutting into his claw but he managed to pop the lock.
Roberto smiled, but quickly noticed that he couldn't remove his claw. He moved with the grooves and realized he could pull it out.
'It took me this long to get it unlocked but what about later?' Roberto thought about the time constraint he might be under when they had to escape.
'Great.' Roberto whispered as he braced himself and broke his claw off into the lock. He quietly groaned as a small amount of blood leaked from his foot. He'd left a small bit of his claw outside of the lock so he could unlock it again. He pushed the lock shut, looked at the bars to his cage and scratched it enough to leave a few marks. He then flicked small drops of his blood on the bars. Roberto plucked a few of his feathers, laid them on the floor and pressed his foot against them. Roberto checked to make sure the edge of his claw couldn't be seen and sat back, satisfied with his work. A smile creeped onto his face as he passed out from exhaustion.
The dawn came all too early as the truck's doors were opened and the morning light shone bright. "Feeding time!" A slender man with shades and dreaded hair carried a bag of feed for the birds. He carried a bird on his shoulder, a cockatoo, one that Lucas was quite familiar with. Roberto looked past the two as the man moved to the back of the truck. He saw several humans behind him, they spoke amongst themselves and had weaponry with them. Roberto quickly moved his eyes back to the cockatoo, watching him closely. The cockatoo tormented the frightened birds the most, dragging a bone across their cages and snapping at them. Roberto smiled once again and awaited for the bird to arrive at his cage.
"Hello, pretty bird." Roberto jumped to the back of his cage. "My name is Nigel, what's yours?" Roberto kept his fearful facade. Nigel laughed. "That terrified of me are we?" Nigel moved the bone to his mouth and smashed it. A large, sharp piece of the bone flew into Robert's cage which he quickly swept under foot as he fell to the floor covering his eyes. "Tried to escape did we?" Nigel asked, inspecting the blood on Roberto's cage.
"Tried so hard you bled?" Nigel smirked once more and then he noticed stains of blood on the padlock to the cage. He grabbed the lock and Roberto's mind froze. He hadn't forgotten about the blood splatter on the lock. He had to think of something, anything but he couldn't. It was too late. Then spit landed on Nigel's head. "To be a pretty bird you need to be clean right?" Lucas laughed. Nigel wiped away the spit from his head and began to fly towards Lucas.
"Nigel!" The man stopped the cockatoo in his tracks.
"Leave the merchandise alone, we've already wasted enough time." Nigel reluctantly came back to the man's shoulder and stared Lucas down. The man closed and locked the doors.
"Thank you Lucas." Roberto smiled brightly.
"Yeah, just make it worth it." Lucas' voice was shaky and everyone around him displayed a similar feeling of anxiety.
"Sofia." Roberto called to his friend and tossed a bone shard to her. "Use that on the bottom of that thing on your cage."
"Alright." Sofia complied and got to work.
"Everyone, the next time they come back, we will escape." Roberto smiled and everyone smiled back at him. His eyes wandered back to Beatriz whose eyes still held their hopeless feel. Yet, a smile that was formed by hope countered her hopeless eyes.
"So where do we go from here?" Jewel asked Blu.
"Maybe the humans left some sort of trail? I mean how else did they find where we were?" Blu suggested and the two looked around.
"I can't see anything from up here, I'm going lower." Jewel flew down closer to the ground and Blu followed behind her. They stayed a few feet above the ground and split up to investigate. Blu had no luck but Jewel looked around and found a mud trail. She called Blu and she directed his attention to it.
"Have you seen tracks like these before?" Blu shook his head at the question. Jewel landed next to the large tire tracks. Blu came down next to her and saw the tracks stretching far out in front of them.
"This isn't from anything in the Amazon, so it's gotta be from the humans." Blu was confident in his assessment.
"We don't know that, it could lead us further away from them."
"Yeah we don't know but this doesn't look like the tracks of any animal, it's gotta be them." Jewel sighed. She could tell Blu was certain about where the trail came from.
"Alright, let's go."
The two followed the trail and it seemed never ending, however, the trail was getting fresher the longer they followed it. Eventually, they hit a clearing that held slightly high grass and pinkish-red flowers growing in it. Jewel saw the flowers and instinctively landed, "Jewel?" Blu said her name but she was already out of earshot.
"Jewel we can't stop." Blu's voice didn't reach her, instead she walked around the field, "This is where we used to live."
"These flowers were my mother's favorite." Jewel looked about, not at the flowers that were thriving but the ones trampled. Blu walked to her side and saw the trail, it wasn't just tires. There was a large indentation in the mud, it was from a large slender body.
"Blu, could you get me that flower over there?" Jewel smiled at him. He was taken off guard by the request but obliged. The flower was small but had clearly bloomed, so he came back to Jewel's side and tucked the flower in the feathers next to her right eye. Jewel's smile never left her and she looked at Blu lovingly. He returned the look and Jewel got closer to him.
"You feeling what I am?" Blu's eyes laid on Jewel, "I don't know, am I?" Jewel responded in a sly tone as they got even closer. Their chests touched but they jumped away from each other and a head crashed into the dirt kicking up a small cloud of dust. Blu and Jewel knew the serpent was there and barely managed to avoid its attack.
"Obvious bait, so tantalizing." The serpent smiled and flicked his tongue.
Jewel and Blu moved into the sky but the snake whipped his tail in front of them. They managed to evade but now they were encircled on the ground. The snake thrusted its tail at Blu first and its head at Jewel. The two dodged but the serpent wasn't finished. It kept striking, one after the other. When he moved his tail the head moved as well, operating in perfect harmony. However, with the numerous attacks, Blu began to find it easier to dodge them.
"Jewel! He's slowing down!" Blu yelled to Jewel. She swooped down towards the snake and looked back at him.
"Follow my lead!" Blu nodded his head and flew behind her.
They closed in on the snake, weaving his attacks. They continuously moved around his body and tied his body around itself. The more it twisted the slower he got, Jewel went for one more round and Blu flew out of the snake's reach. They felt victorious and a sense of relief washed over them. Throughout the entire ordeal they'd been fighting their instincts, the instinct of prey. However, their celebration was short-lived.
"How foolish." The serpent uncoiled himself quickly and sent his tail at Blu. It was just as fast as his first strike. Blu couldn't react, all he could do was watch and brace himself. Suddenly, the serpent screamed out in pain. The tail stopped short of Blu's left eye, he looked down to the snake and was shocked. Jewel slashed the snake's left eye and she flew straight to Blu, pushing him into the sky as she did.
"Blu! Are you alright?" Jewel and Blu landed on a tree branch far from the field, further down the mud trial. Jewel felt Blu all over, ensuring he had no cuts. He looked at her and hugged her tightly.
"Your heart's beating fast." Blu had his chest to Jewel's. She began to shake as her breathing quickened.
"Jewel, calm down, you're okay. It's over." Blu held her tighter and they knelt down on the branch. He felt her heart return to normal. Jewel took a breath and looked at Blu. He released her and smiled, relieved to see her calm again.
"You're breathing hard too." Jewel looked at Blu closely. She cupped his face and they kissed only for a moment. Blu leaned into Jewel and they fell apart from one another. They placed their backs to the tree's trunk and rested. They could only seek comfort in one another and talking wouldn't cut it.
"Blu, can we do this?" Jewel looked at Blu and he looked back at her.
"We barely survived that snake. How are we gonna get past humans to save everyone?" Blu's eyes widened, he wanted to open his mouth to object. However, his rational mind remained
"I- I know what you mean but…" Blu trailed off.
"We have to save them no matter what." Jewel finished Blu's thought. He looked at her and she did her best to smile. He saw the discomfort, the fear in her eyes. He saw it because he felt the same as she did.
"We have to believe that we can do this. Roberto and everyone else got captured, we can't run away."
"I want to save all of them. I just don't know if we can."
"We will save all of them. That's what we have to believe." Jewel giggled at Blu's confidence. She leaned on him.
"You always speak from your heart." Jewel spoke softly. Her head was above Blu's chest but she could tell his heart was steady.
"I guess that's another reason why I love you." Blu looked at Jewel. She had closed her eyes already, Blu felt as though she was saying goodbye.
"I won't let you die, I promise." Blu relaxed his head on top of Jewel's.
"I know." Jewel whispered.
'Mom, am I strong enough… to protect him?' That was Jewel's only thought before falling asleep.
The two slept light and arose in the early morning, the sun bathed them and the Amazon with a warm golden hue. It was almost comforting for them but it was time to get moving. Their flight was almost peaceful but an air of dread hung heavy, they continued following the trail into the later part of the morning and ran into the end of the mud trail. By the time the trail ended, it was the late morning and they were by a small waterfront. At the end of the trail they saw a truck. It was white and had circular holes on the side of it. Tree branches hung over the truck and the two landed on the branch closest to the truck.
"How do we know it's them?" Jewel asked Blu.
"Listen close." Blu closed his eyes and Jewel did as well. They closed their eyes and focused their ears. Their hearing was limited but they heard the familiar voices, even if only a little.
"Now how do we get in there?" Jewel asked the question that both she and Blu were wondering.
"I don't know." Blu was frustrated. He looked around, seeing the humans and the cockatoo.
"I know how to get them out."
"How?"
"I need to get caught."
"Are you crazy?!" Jewel quietly yelled at Blu. He put his wings up in defense, "Hear me out!" Blu tried to calm her.
"That bird down there, he's with the humans and he was able to catch Lucas right? If I go down there and he catches me, then I'll be able to get inside to everyone else."
"Then what Blu? What if they start moving again? It's not happening."
"Jewel, how else can we do this?"
"I don't know!" Jewel contested Blu further.
" I can't let you do this."
"I know… I'm sorry." Jewel was relieved to see Blu coming around, he smiled and pushed her back. She tried to grab him with her beak but she was pushed too far.
Blu jumped off the branch and dove for the truck. Nigel noticed him and quickly captured Blu.
"Oh, another bird wanted to join the party." Nigel's sinister tone didn't phase Blu. The human from before came to Nigel and he unlocked the truck's doors, but stopped before fully opening them. The revving of several engines could be heard in the distance.
"Marcel! The police!" A woman yelled to the man in front of the truck doors. Marcel was shocked and moved from the doors but it was too late.
"Freeze you're surrounded!" A police officer yelled. The police had trained their guns on the poachers from forested areas. The poachers placed their hands up but at that same moment Roberto enacted his plan. The door was open and he could only think of freedom. He yelled for everyone to fly and the doors slammed open. Nigel was bumped by several birds and let go of Blu in the process. The loud metal slam and the sudden movement of the birds took the officers by surprise. They pulled their triggers and a handful of birds fell to the ground. Everyone's mind froze as they saw the lifeless bodies of the birds fall to the ground. Roberto stopped as he saw the sight.
"What?" Roberto's face was stuck, his body was stuck. His thoughts paced from the bodies of his people to the words he told them. The promise he gave them, that they would all make it out. The truth he believed was nothing but a lie. This was the truth of the situation, everyone else kept flying past Roberto but he stayed fixated. Roberto screamed but it was drowned out by the gunfire, the poachers took advantage of the officers' hesitation to get their weapons and it was an all out war. Jewel flew into Roberto, knocking him from frozen mindset.
"We have to go!" Jewel yelled at her friend who had a despondent look. He looked at Jewel and she had the same desperate look. He had to focus, he knew that but he couldn't act. There was a pit in his stomach and his eyes began to well up.
"Guys! Get out of the way!" Blu called to the two of them as he saved them from Nigel's attack.
"Snap out of it! We have to move! Now!" Blu ordered. Roberto and Jewel began to fly up fast, Blu stuck behind them as they flew. Weaving through the branches and leaves, trying to catch up to others already far ahead. However, Nigel caught up to Blu knocking him into a tree nearby.
"Clever bird, I see."
Nigel planted his foot around Blu's neck and lifted his other foot to strike him. Jewel flew at Nigel as fast as she could, but he evaded her attack. He grabbed her by the neck and launched into the air. He flew above the leaves and quickly soared back into the forest. Jewel fought to loosen his grip but it didn't work. Nigel headed straight for a tree trunk, but before he could slam her into it Roberto collided with the cockatoo sending Jewel barreling into the tree. She hit her head and fell to a branch below her spot of impact.
Her vision was blurry and she could hardly hear. A ringing noise filled her ears, leaving her in a state of shock. Through the ringing, she could hear Roberto's yells of anguish. He fought Nigel but he was barely able to hold his own.
"You're just the coward I thought you were from before!" Nigel laughed at Roberto. He tormented the Blue Macaw, evading all of Roberto's attacks, countering with swipes of his talons and slamming his beak into him.
"Stop, please." Jewel cried weakly. Blu moved to save Roberto and began to fight as well. Even still, Nigel overpowered the both of them. Blu continuously guarded Roberto from Nigel's attack, leaving openings for Roberto to strike him but they weren't strong enough. The two were able to fight in perfect harmony, yet their fatigue was eating away at them. They were sluggish and lost coordination quickly. When their defensive front reached its lowest Nigel charged at Roberto and knocked him down.
"Roberto-" Blu was cut off by Nigel's vicious assault. He was knocked down and laid next to Roberto. The two raised their heads in defiance, much to Nigel's amusement.
"Isn't this adorable, you thought you could actually win?" Nigel smirked at the helpless birds. Jewel could only watch as this all unfolded, any movement she tried was met with blurry vision and a stumble backwards.
'I have to move! I have to protect them!'
'Are you strong enough for that?' Jewel whipped her head left and looked above herself. She saw a bird standing on a branch. The bird's body eclipsed the sun and its body was blacked out by a shadow.
'Before you talked about how you were too weak to save them from humans. Now you wonder if you can save them. Which is Jewel? Are you weak or strong?'
'I… I…'
'Why are you hesitating?'
'We were barely able to get away from the snake before, we lost our family and now Blu and Roberto are going to-' Jewel stopped herself, she couldn't finish her thought.
'What do you want, Jewel?' Diana asked her daughter sternly. Jewel looked at her mother's darkened face.
'What do I want?' Jewel's body was weak and her head spun, it spun around the one thing she wanted.
'I want… I want to be strong enough to protect those I lean on.' Jewel's mind stopped at that conclusion and she looked up to see her mother's face.
'You've always been strong, Jewel.' Diana spoke softly to her daughter. The sun took Diana's place as she disappeared and it engulfed Jewel. Her senses had returned and the ringing in her eyes disappeared. The sun was bright and comforting. Jewel closed her eyes as tears fell from them but she opened them again. Her right eye was its beautiful emerald green but her left eye was the clear blue sky. Everything felt slow, her body was still recovering. She attacked Nigel with her full strength knocking him off of Roberto and Blu. They were surprised to see Jewel but she moved to attack Nigel again.
Jewel's body was being pushed to its limit. The adrenaline coursing through her body was allowing her to fly faster and faster. However, her attacks barely did anything to Nigel.
"You pests are never ending!" Nigel yelled, Jewel's burst of speed didn't last long. Her movements began to slow down dramatically as a sharp pain forced itself throughout her body. Nigel picked up on this and attacked her. However, he was intercepted by Roberto and Blu as they protected her. The cockatoo bounced off the unified guard and the two boys reunited with their friend. Blu spotted the water behind Nigel, he noticed the alligators and devised a plan.
"Guys! We have to hit him together!" Blu exclaimed. "It's our only shot!" Jewel and Roberto nodded.
The three flew directly into Nigel, throwing the cockatoo into the water. The jaws of an alligator came up and it quickly dragged Nigel under the water's surface. However, even in their victory the three had pushed so hard that they had no strength to flap their wings. They fell to the ground below with only small twigs and flimsy branches to break their fall. Roberto and Jewel couldn't move.
"You have to get up guys! Please!" Blu begged his friends that were breathing heavily. They had suffered many injuries and were beaten completely. They witnessed people of their tribe die. Although they were few, it didn't matter. They promised they would protect them, Roberto gave his word, Jewel gave her heart. Their will had long since been expended by the time of Nigel's attack. Blu felt exactly as they did. All this time he'd been prioritizing Roberto and Jewel, barely giving any thought to the others. It was all for the sake of his heart, to apologize to the friend who sacrificed himself to save him. Yet, Blu couldn't reflect, he couldn't stop to feel the guilt consuming his body. All there was at that moment was the unrestrained desire to save the ones who made his life worth living. The fear of losing the sight of their smiles, the fear of crying at the memory of them. The fear of letting them die. It was fear that was going to consume him in one bite.
"Your fear is so tasty, blue bird." That sly, relaxed tone bit a chunk out of Blu's chest. Blu flapped his wings with all the strength he had left, he launched himself forward and wrapped a wing around Jewel and Roberto as he propelled forward. The dust settled behind him as the serpent lifted his head from the ground. He smiled at Blu and giggled, at that moment Blu tried to raise his head to look back at his attacker, however, he collapsed. He felt a stinging pain in his left foot, it was a small shallow cut. His body was unresponsive.
'Even just a little scratch did this much to me?!' Blu was shocked at how so little venom was able to paralyze him. 'I have to move!' Blu tried to force his body up but nothing happened. Blu's eyes moved to his unconscious friends. The serpent tightened itself around Jewel and Roberto's motionless bodies.
"What do you think? The girl or the boy?" The serpent giggled after asking such a cruel question.
'No! Take me! Don't take them!' Blu's thoughts raced as he could only release grunts from his mouth. He began to cry, he was helpless to save his friends, to save himself. Everything was falling apart around him and he couldn't do anything about it. Blu could only wonder what exactly changed from that day eleven years ago. Did he ever truly grow up, did he ever really get stronger? His tears fell and he simply closed his eyes like that child did so long ago.
"Grab them!" Eduardo's voice opened Blu's eyes. Eduardo and two other birds crashed down on the serpent's head, smashing it into the dirt. The sudden attack caused Jewel and Roberto to be released and they were swiftly picked up. Blu was also picked up at the same time, he could hardly process it all. All he could see was the ground housing the serpent that was supposed to eat him. However, his vision tunneled and he fell unconscious.
That is chapter two. The focus of this chapter was more-so the characters intelligence and how they can adjust to certain situations. Ironically, for Jewel, Blu and Roberto vs. Nigel I reread Todo/Yuji vs Mahito. I really felt inspired by that because the emotion was pretty gripping as it was in this fight while writing it. Chapter 3 should be out sometime in the future and an epilogue chapter after that. Stay tuned and stay safe out there!
