Sorry about this Matt: But let me break it down again;
Edited Review: A Sitch in Time. I have a feeling what's going to happen. I can see Shego wasn't really comfortable with the idea that Drakken, Duff and Fiske came up with. If anything she could've been like, 'No! I don't want any part of this cause.' Because she's got honour and she could've had the option to actually go to Paul and Kim possible to warn them of what they're planning.
A: Sorry I had to read the beginning a few times. Thanks for your review mattorserider40. I completely understand where you coming from with Shego not being comfortable with the whole, destroying Kim's youth to prevent her from having her career as a teenage hero. It's a great idea, but I actually never intended to do something like that in the first place. I already planned out the whole plot thing last year. Only for the first part of the Sitch in Time episode. The rest of it I'm still planning it, but not fully written down, the final part I'm still working on. In fact, the next 10-12 chapters will be hard to write. Getting back to your prediction. It's actually a great idea! But not what the story was working towards to... But thank you for your input Matt!

BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY POLL ON KIM POSSIBLE
After an eventful Saturday night of ceremonies and kidnappings. Kim and Paul had to recover for a few days.
Kim's recover was short. She only missed one day of school. She returned back on Tuesday morning. Paul however had missed three days of school after recovering from that stabbing incident. He had to take it easy for the first few days before going back. Ann took good care of him, as she delivered food and groceries for the teen. He would still need to have that stiches there for another week or possibly two. But he can still do certain activities. No news in regards of Massimo Van Kerr, as the man was still fighting for his life in hospital. He would be placed into a prison if he were to survive this. He's survival rate is very very low. Doctors believe he hasn't got long to live.
Paul was preparing for another day of school. While he was approaching the school doors. He recollected the past week of what's happened. Kim got kidnapped. He got stabbed. He impaled an old man, who is on his death bed. And incredibly enough. No one back home knew he had been wounded by this stabbing incident.
In fact. His entire family didn't know his association with Team Possible. Only his close friends back in Australia knew.
If one day, something were to go wrong and he ends up non responsive. Someone will have to take responsibility. And he's the one responsible for putting his hand up to help Kim Possible, not her.
It will be a dreadful day when it comes to explaining to both of his parents about what he's been doing for the past 7 months. He stops thinking about what was on his mind and begins to walk inside the school.
He just wanted a quiet day. Say hello when required, talk as little as possible about what happened on Saturday and enjoy the day with his friends. Simple enough...
In the hallway, there was total silence, everybody stopped talking, moving, doing what they were doing as they focused on the teen. Their eyes glued at the teen, who was minding his own business. Their eyes looking like a pack of hungry wolves, looking for their prey. The whole school was informed about his mishap, hence why they were staring at him. Even the Seniors laid off him, still butt hurt about what happened last year. But even at this serious matter, they let it go for the time being. The jocks knew he would almost beat up every single jock, knowing his fighting skills. But didn't wanna get suspended.
"Hey Paul. I hope everything's alright." Brick says as he walks up to the teen. The only jock who respects the teen right now. He expresses his concern, "Yeah, thanks Brick." Paul says softly. He continues to head towards his locker and is stopped again by three familiar detentionees.
"Hey man. We heard what happened to you last weekend." Junior says to him. The 3 boys including Brick had to postpone their after school study sessions this week, so the teen can take it easy. "Yeah. How you feeling now?" Vinnie adds at the end.
"Still a bit sore. Shouldn't be a problem." Paul says.
"God I can't believe this world would wanna hurt a guy like you. You're the champ in my book. Anyway welcome back man." Junior says patting his back.
"Thanks boys." Paul says as he walks to his locker. Vinnie, Junior and Mike just stare at him as he walks away.
"Speed recovery bro!" Junior says to him. Once he was far away, the boys spoke amongst each other.
"Man! That kid is so brave. I can't believe someone would even want to stab him." Vinnie says to Junior, as he nods at this.
"Tough as screws." Big Mike adds.
The teen finally reached his locker and placed his bag inside the locker. He feels a touch on his shoulder.
"Man, if you told me you would have such a wild weekend. You should have invited me too!" Paul turns around with a small grin and amused face. It was Josh who had his hands in his pockets, "How are you buddy?"
"Had better days Josh." Paul says feeling in a better mood.
"You look like shit man."
"Thanks for your honesty."
"Hey, I'm sorry that guy hurt you. I'd say you're one tough son of a gun to withstand that kind of pain."
"Thanks Josh." Paul says appreciating that his friend is cheering him up. He's got to laugh about it, to ignore all the negativity in regards of the wound. Two certain girls walked up to the pair. The usual culprits.
"We having a reunion here or a funeral here? Sorry Paul, I'm just playing. I hope you're okay. I was shocked to hear what happened to you." Monique says.
"Well... It certainly took me by surprise." Paul says with honesty. He didn't even think anyone would do something like that to him.
"It all took us by surprise." Kim adds as she speaks up for the group. "Still recovering, but he will comeback stronger than ever before." She grins at the teen.
He softly grins back at the heart-warming small speech.
"Don't worry, we'll stop messing with ya." Monique says.
"Thanks... Say guys, is it okay if I talk to Kim privately please?" Paul says.
"Of course." Josh says as Monique nods in response.
Both teens left Kim and Paul alone to talk. Once both teens were alone, Paul starts off.
"Hey." This is the first time they've seen each other since the incident. "Hey yourself... You still feeling sore?" Kim says.
"It's a bit stiff. I'm getting used to it now." Paul says staring down at the wounded area.
"Anyone giving you grief?" Kim asks.
"All looks, but no shit stirring by anyone, except Monique. But I can't complain about a friend doing that. I'm actually surprised that Connor kept his mouth shut."
"He knows you can kick his ass any day of the week." Kim says. Paul gave a small contained chuckle. He looks at the ground, before looking back at Kim.
"True that. How about you? Have you moved on yet?"
"It's no big." Kim says.
"You sure?" Paul asks her.
"Yeah.. The first night was tough, then it just goes away the next." Kim says.
"That's great to hear. If you ever wanna talk about it, I'm always here." Paul says giving Kim the opportunity if she needed to talk about it, he's there for her.
"I think I'll be alright." Kim says.
The rest of the school day had been pretty quite day. A few people spoke to Paul about his stabbing incident and wanted to give their best wishes to him. He didn't want to go into much detail about it though. Right now, it was English and the spearhead of the school was in charge for the class for the umpteenth time of the year once again.
"Alright people listen up. Now your teacher Mrs Lish had to leave early today... For some particular reason that I don't know about and not going to get into...So I'm here to... Let's see what am I here to do.. (Reads his list) Maths no, P.E no, Planking class? Definitely a no." Barkin reads to himself "AH! I'm here to assign your English assignments." He says with a grin.
The students groaned at his, they legit just finished doing a project for English class just recently!
"Again!" Someone says in annoyance in the classroom, once the groaning around the room came to a close.
"Stop with the groaning people. This time it will be conducted in partners."
Some of the students murmured some what mediocrely glad.
"That's better!" The same person from before says.
"Chosen by yours truly. Me!"
They groan once again.
"Come on man!" The same person says with extreme delay this time.
"Can we stop with the moaning and whining people! It's really bringing down the energy in here."
Paul was thinking about the last English assignment he did, he immediately changed his company after finding out about it's origin story, his teacher was a bit surprised why he would change it with almost less than a fortnight from it's due date, but she accepted his change. He ended up doing it about a Construction Company called TUC, or known as Turner Construction, due to his passion in construction and got full marks. He had to crunch it as it was a tight deadline, He couldn't believe he wasted all that time on Hench Corporation.
"Okay first pick of the day is... Tara King and... Monique Symone."
Both teens are stare at each other and were quite happy being partners together.
Paul was still thinking about Hench Co. It bothered him quite a bit. He slowly learnt in the past month that almost every powerful company just wants to be powerful, stay ahead of the competition and their main goal... To make tons of money. But in the end, money is what makes people survive in the end. Paying bills, food, rent, mortgage. Whatever it is, people need it.
"Mankey and... Flores."
'I can't believe that scumbag Jack is selling these fucking weapons to criminals." Paul thought angrily. These big corporations might be shifty, greedy and such, but this one takes the cake! Some are pretty bad in corporate sense, but this is just plain criminal! Seriously.
"-Possible... And Justine Flanner."
Kim was pretty happy with her partners choice. There was only a few students left on the list and Paul's name hasn't been called out yet.
Back to Paul. He couldn't get it out of his mind. As soon as the week was over, he would go down to Global Justice HQ, hand in a letter to them and report Hench Co to Dr Betty Director and see what they can do about him. It was really bothering him just in the past few minutes. He hope the government body can do something about this soon... and fast!
"And finally. Paul Kan- Canofcor- Uhh... Kan. Tsk. Just Paul! Just Paul. The one with the glasses. You know who I mean. He's sitting right there. And the last one on the list... Lucky Rell- Mack- Oh it's upside down... Bonnie Rockwaller."
Paul snapped his attention to Barkin upon hearing that certain name. He internally freaked!
How could the last 5 minutes get any worse!
"Um sir?" Paul says softly.
"..Yes Paul? Is there a problem?" Barkin asks.
Everybody in the room faces the teen, he quickly picks himself up, throwing away his thoughts in the past few moments and speaks up. "I see, 'A' problem. I request a change of partners."
Bonnie slowly lowers her head in the back, hoping for a change of partners.
"No changes." Barkin says.
The girl internally cringes at this. She felt like stamping her feet on the ground like a little child not getting their way.
"But sir-"
"No. Changes! And that's final cadet." Barkin makes his decision final.
Paul mentally groaned at this. He now had to do an assignment with the one person he didn't want to spend any time with. He thought about how can this happen? Did Bonnie have a hand in this? Did she bribe or perhaps blackmail Barkin?
'She would! Swooping that low to get to me!' Paul thought.
"You think it would be possibly if I ask someone to switch partners with me?" Paul says trying still to get out of being partners with Bonnie.
"..."
Barkin was not amused as he already told Paul he couldn't change partners on numerous occasions.
Paul had no choice as was open book about it, "Come on sir! I don't wanna be partners with Bonnie."
"I said no Paul. What part of no don't you understand?"
"...Yes." Paul answers back.
Barkin wasn't in the mood for Paul's shenanigans, "You were a problem child, weren't you?"
"And a problem solver." He answers back.
"Look. I've got enough to deal with right now. In fact, I'm supposed to be doing the before lunch school announcements and instead, I'm hearing covering English!" Barkin says.
"Good afternoon Students, this is Mr Barkin reading the before lunchtime school announcements."
"How is that even possible Mr Barkin?" Tara asks the question to the substitute teacher.
"Oh, I recorded myself earlier and used that bird dipping water thingy to press the button while attached to another one pressing down the recording device I got as well." Barkin explains.
"Let me guess... All of those were on sale at-" Paul was about to say something as he was loudly interrupted.
"AH! I know what you're going to say! LALALALA! Can't hear you! LALALALA! It rhymes with Party Cart!" Barkin blocks his ears as Paul was about to mention Smarty Mart, but he might have screwed himself over, with the rhyme.

"Be there or-"
"Oh Dandy! The recording device is stuck." Barkin says, as he rushed out of the classroom with the class still in there, finding it amusing their sub teacher run away from the classroom.
"Be there or-"
Paul was focusing back on his project that he had to do with Bonnie. He wasn't happy at this luck of the draw pick. He really felt like doing this by himself and just submitting this with Bonnie without her own input.
"Be there or be square."
Heck, this would be totally unfair as she would contribute nothing to this project, but if it meant he would do this without seeing and working with Bonnie, he'd be more than oblige in doing so.
"Be there or- GAH! I've got you now, you cheap piece of wood!... Wait? Is this thing still on? Maybe... If I release my finger off the button the bu-"
The intercom stops as Barkin's voice was stopped. About a few moments later, the school bell rang as everybody rushed out except for two people.
Paul and Bonnie.
The teen looked behind and saw the brunette girl sitting at her desk. She gave a small shy wave to him. He gets up disgusted as he gathered all his possessions and quickly left the classroom as he heard a chair move behind him and the teenage girl say something to him before passing the door.
"Paul, wait!"
"A project with Bonnie. Man, that's harsh." Josh says. The group of friends were sitting in their usual spot at lunchtime.
"Maybe I can do this whole thing without her." Paul says. It's worth a crack to complete within a small window.
"Within a month! You sure that's possible?" Monique says.
"Monique. We're Freshman, not college students.. Surely it won't be that hard. I can handle it. Plus I checked the criteria for the project at my locker, seems pretty straight forward."
"But won't Miss Lish find out that you did this solo?" Kim says.
"Who cares. If I fail, I fail. As long as I get away from Bonnie, plus how would she know anyway?"
"Maybe Bonnie would rat you out? That girl always has a motive for everything." Monique says.
"Please. She can't afford to fail this project." Paul says.
"Well at least I'm partnered with someone who is highly qualified to get an A plus in this project. If only this were a science project... Justine and I could have lit the whole school up! I can't wait to work with her." Kim fantasises about Justine's previous science projects. She's very very very excellent in that field. Speaking of Justine, she comes by the table.
"Hi Kim. I got you a list of tasks for you to complete for our English project." Justine hands Kim a sheet of paper.
"Cool... Wait? Justine. This paper appears to be blank." Kim says showing the blank page.
"I'm aware of that."
"Why is it blank? Did you give me the wrong sheet?" Kim asks feeling like Justine gave her the wrong page.
"Well I decided that it would be better for me to finish this whole project as I can tell you have quite a busy schedule with your worldly activities. So do what you have to do and don't worry about a thing. The day of the presentation, just show up, smile and read my cue cards. Are we in agreement?" Justine says.
"What? I can't even help you?" Kim says.
"You'd just be holding us back. No hard feelings? Right?" Justine says with a grin.
Kim was tempted to sit back and let her do the work. But she slapped those thoughts away. She was pissed that she wouldn't even have an input for this project. It's like she wants to control the whole project and do what she pleases to get full marks. An easy 'A' would be undeserved in her books.
"Hard feelings yes! Justine I want to participate in this. You can't just complete this whole project by yourself! We're supposed to be partners."
"We'll still be partners. Just me doing the work, while you do nothing. Come on Kim. It's an easy A. Who doesn't want an easy A?" Justine says.
Paul chuckles at the blonde teen. This gets Justine's attention as she tilted her head towards him.
"And what's funny to you, Paul?" Justine says.
"That's a funny way of sharing the work load. You wanna undermine Kim so you can do the whole project yourself and get 100%." Paul says.
"Well I wanna get full marks for this project. What's the problem?" Justine says back.
"The problem is that you're supposed to be working together for this project. It seems like you don't have confidence in Kim getting those fully marks now do you?" Paul retorts back to the smart girl.
"I have utter full confidence in Kim." Justine says backing Kim.
"Ah ha.. How so Justine?" Kim says with a raise of the eyebrow.
"It's just... My work is very technical!"
"Technical eh? I didn't know English was a technical subject guys." Paul says.
Justine flipped the switch on the conversation, reverting to Paul's partner issue to avoid anymore conversation about Kim helping her out with the project. "Well, you yourself didn't seem to happy having that prissy brunette cheerleader as a partner. By the sounds of it, you wanna do this by yourself." Justine says back.
"Do I have a choice? It's because I don't want anything. And I repeat, anything! To do with that stuck up girl. I would never work with that little snobby-"
Barkin was next to him watching him like a Hawk. For a busy guy, he's sure got the time to keep an eye out for Paul.
"Can I help you sir?" Paul asks the man.
"Nope, just eavesdropping to make sure no colourful words come from this table. Particular this table, in this area, from that chair." Barkin says with his hands behind his back. He was clearly talking about Paul.
"Don't you have a few wooden birds to watch sir?" Paul says.
"Don't you worry you're pretty big head about him. I fixed him during the lunch break." Barkin says.
Back in his office the spring of the bird goes flying out of his office. The spring ricochets off a few lockers before hitting the fire alarm button. That could have poked someone's eye out!
'BRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII'
The fire alarm rings across the whole school.
Everyone looks up to the ceiling at the ringing sound.
Everyone outside looks back at the building hearing the ringing sound.
In the cafeteria the ringing sound can be heard. No one really reacts to this.
Barkin was still positioned with his hands behind his back. Eventually he snaps out of it and realises the fire alarm was ringing the whole time. "Oh crapsicles! FIRE EVERYBODY! This is not a drill people! Evacuate the building!" Barkin yells over the fire alarm as he rushes out the cafeteria and the school.
About 5 minutes later, everybody exited the school, as they were outside in the emergency meeting area. Paul was surrounded by many students around him. He couldn't find any of his friends. But one student he knew, just had to be near him... Bonnie.
She looked at him. He tried to walk away from her but too many people were around him. So he was stuck in-between all these students. Bonnie started to speak "Look. I know that you want to avoid me and all. But let's get this project over and done with, so we won't have talk to each other again. Deal?" Bonnie says. She had her hand out.
Paul just stared at her hand. He refused to shake her hand. She had been a massive bitch ever since he arrived here and doesn't deserve even a formal shake from him/
"I don't wanna shake your hand." Paul says flatly.
Bonnie lowered her hand awkwardly and rubbed the back of her neck.
"Right... Is it okay if we do the project at your house?" Bonnie suggests.
Paul immediately assumed that if he were to go to Bonnie's house, she would be embarrassed if Paul would tell her one of his rants about her. Embarrassing her family in the process. He thought he would be interesting to meet Bonnie's family, but he has other major things to do instead and worry about.
"I don't see why not." Paul says.
"Cool... So are you going to send me the address?"
"When I'm ready." Paul says.
"Which will be?"
"Soon."
"How would you send it to me?" Bonnie asks.
"You got my number already." Paul answers back. Bonnie had completely forgotten about how she got his phone number months ago, checking the school's information records. She wanted to say something else, but she just ended the conversation there and there. Barkin addresses the crowd of students and teaching staff.
"Okay people, false alarm. Thankfully there is no fire at the school. Someone pulled the school alarm bell. Unfortunately the culprit got away and thus I am beginning an investigation on who did this... And if I reconsider the events that took place in the past minute or so, we don't have surveillance footage of who did this. Meaning this investigation is officially over. Now enjoy the rest of your lunch. There will be no extra time." Barkin says.
All the students groaned at this. Losing about 10 minutes of lunchtime due to a fire drill. They all go back inside the school as Paul stops to speak to Barkin.
"Don't tell me your bird triggered the fire alarm sir." Paul says to Barkin.
Barkin leans towards him, "Keep your lip zipped Paul." Barkin says to him, as Paul grins at that. He loved stirring the technical guy.
It's been a hella of a day so far.
Later that same day. Kim was at home in her room. She was greatly disappointed in Justine for excluding her from their own project.
Her own project!
She was excited to finally have a school project where she could work with someone and it happened to be Justine Flanner. 10 minutes after the same girl would shaft her and declared that she will complete it herself in order to get full marks for this project.
Kim stopped doing her homework and went onto her laptop for some leisure time and to empty her thoughts out into the world of entertainment. She was reading some gossip articles on the E! website. After reading a few juicy celebrity stories, she comes across an article about Hailey Bieber and her husband Justine Bieber. It got Kim thinking.
Justin Bieber...
Justine... Justine!
She closes her laptop angrily at that. Even reading an entertainment article got her mad, as her thoughts about Justine retracted back into her mind. It was like a speech bubble following her around and couldn't get rid of it!
She sighs and puts her head on her hand, leaning her elbow on the desk. She looks at her desk.
The neat pile of papers, the books stacked against the wall and her laptop in front of her still closed.
She wasn't ready to throw the towel just yet though. Recently, she had given up too easily twice before. First time, not showing enough resilience and hope to get her out of that jam on Christmas Eve. While the second time, she was almost unescapable from her end, when Massimo trapped her on his surgical table. Sure, it's not exactly like the two previous times, she was willing to fight to participate in that English project together. She stands straight on her chair, grabs a pen and starts jotting down some notes.
This girl had a fire in her belly and she was out to settle what right with a certain smart blonde.
The next day at school, Justine was walking to her locker. She unlocks her combination lock and rims of loose paper come falling out of her locker. Paper was all over the floor and all over her locker. She was stunned by this, straight away thinking how could this have happened. No one knew her lock combination.
Kim was leaning a few lockers away, "Ready to call it in yet?" She says to the blonde teen.
"You think filling my locker with cellulose is going to make me change my mind?" Justine says.
"If you refer cellulose, meaning paper, then yes."
"(Scoffs) You're so childish Possible. You've littered the school floor and my locker."
"Technically you littered it. It came out of your locker." Kim says.
"You gonna have to try a lot harder than that Possible!" Justine says as she slams her locker and walks off stepping on the paper on the floor, not caring about the mess. Kim just stares at her walking away.
"I'm just only getting started." Kim says to herself with a cheeky grin.
A few days pass and Paul finally gave in. He reluctantly gave Bonnie his address so they can start on the project.
He was doing the right thing by working with his partner, instead of doing it all by himself.
Paul and Bonnie were at Paul's house going over the English project. For a due date that was due in about a months time, it sure was a lot of work to do. Especially for Freshman students.
Paul and Bonnie's chit chat time was at a bar of zero right now. They were busy and quietly working away, as they queried a few things along the way and nothing else.
Bonnie really wanted to speak to the teen and engage in a normal conversation with him.
...
"So, how's your recovery been?" Bonnie asks.
Paul looks up at her, before looking back down at his laptop, "Fine."
Bonnie seemed a bit disappointed by his answer. Flat and straight to the point, like he didn't wanna talk. She really wanted to have a chat with him, but he was being stubborn as a mule.
"I'm sorry you got stabbed." Bonnie says out of the blue.
Paul looks up at her again slowly this time and stares at her for a few seconds. "It's okay Bonnie. You don't have to act all nice about it." He says before looking back down at his laptop continuing his work.
Bonnie's blood started to boil at the accusations he just made. She really did care about what happened to him last week.
"Why are you being like this?" Bonnie says.
The teen stops what he was doing and closes his laptop. More like slams it shut, "... Really! You going there?"
"What are you talking about?" Bonnie says.
"See, this is the reason why I avoid you! Have you forgotten what you've done?"
"I said I was sorry, didn't I?" Bonnie says.
"I don't think sorry covers for anything you've done since I meet you." Paul points at her.
"Oh, whoop-de-do! The fucking king doesn't accept my apology. Are you always a prick back at home?" Bonnie says.
"I may be annoying to my family and friends sometimes, especially when I was younger, but there's moments in life that you've got to be mature. Something that I haven't seen from you once so far."
"You don't know me Paul... No one knows me like I do..." Bonnie says with a serious tone.
"Sadly I know... And I can tell it hurts deep within you. I don't know what it is. But it probably has to do with your family." Paul says with a sympathetic and calm tone.
Bonnie kept her face the same way as it is, but she was rather surprised he mentioned about her family again.
"Why do you keep assuming that it has something to do with my family?"
"Why do I think? I'll tell you why. No person acts like that for no reason. There's always a motive or influence. Nature versus nurture. Now I don't know if you're a single child or you have brothers and sisters. Maybe they take the piss out of you. Maybe it's the middle child theory. I-I don't know! But there's something that's making you be like... like?"
"Go on?" Bonnie knew what Paul was getting at.
"Like the bitch you are!" Paul shouts.
"Oh that's great. You know, I can't believe I felt sorry you, getting stabbed." Bonnie says.
'BANG'
"You know how it feels to be stabbed!" Paul slammed the table and says angrily getting up.
Bonnie was speechless again but had a look of sorrow on her face.
"The cold metal ripping through your skin, destroying the nerve cells in that area. I might not be the same later on in life! The psychological pain and trauma that Kim and I have to deal with! How would you know!" Paul says angrily at the girl. He pointed to the area of his wound as well.
Bonnie was quiet and was about to tear up, but kept it inside. Paul stares at her and scoffs. He sits down with his arms crossed.
"I thought so.. You probably wouldn't even know what feelings are either." Paul says looking away from her.
...
"I do." Bonnie says quietly.
Paul turns back to her. "No you don't. You just toy with people's lives and feelings."
"..." Bonnie had small droplets of tears coming from her eyes.
Paul notices this and isn't budging one bit "Crying isn't getting you sympathy from me."
"It's not you... It's... It's just complicated." Bonnie says.
"... Care to share?"
Bonnie was super reluctant to talk about her private life. She never told anyone what goes on at home. Not even to Tara. But... For some strange reason, the words came out of her mouth. It was like...
She trusted him.
"You know how... Older siblings can be a pain?" Bonnie starts off.
"I wouldn't know. I'm the oldest sibling."
"I can't relate... I have these two older sisters. Twin sisters to be exact."
"Okay..." Paul focus on her story.
"And... And... Jesus this is hard... I've never told anyone this... But my sisters give me a bad time whenever they are around me."
"Wh-what do you mean by bad time?" Paul stutters.
Bonnie breathes in from her nose. "H-Have you ever had someone, who puts you down at everything you do? Attempted? Failed in? Even succeeded in? Always having the last word to make me look like the worst kid in the family? Have you ever felt that!" Bonnie rants with tears flowing down her cheeks.
"...No...No I haven't."
Bonnie proved her point, but was upset talking about it.
Paul saw a side of Bonnie he's never seen before. He gets up and grabs a box of tissues. He slides them across to Bonnie. "T-thank you." She says as she grabs a tissue, wiping her tears away and blows her nose.
"Why don't your parents do anything about that?" Paul asks.
"My dad wouldn't care. And my mum is too oblivious at times... Always taking their side! But she doesn't see what they do behind the scenes."
"Most parents would try to give affection to all their children, but the eldest is always the favourite and the middle child is almost forgotten."
"Well I'm neither of them." Bonnie says.
"And your dad? You said, he wouldn't care about you. Why's that?" Paul asks.
The more the conversation went, the more comfortable Bonnie felt talking about it.
"When I was younger, he told me that I must fend for myself. It's a dog eat, dog world out there. Nothing in life is handed out for free. So he told me to be strong, don't take shit for nobody. Be better than who they are as an individual."
"That seems a bit demeaning to say that to a child." Paul says.
"My dad would probably tell me to stand up to my sisters and get back at them. But there's two of them, that and they share the same brain." Bonnie mutters the last part.
"So, you were basically releasing your pain at school, onto the students after you taken a mouthful from those sisters of yours." Paul says not entirely happy about why she releases it upon them. They have done nothing wrong.
"You could say that." Bonnie says.
Paul listened to Bonnie's story, one of the first time's he has actually had a conversation that has last longer than a couple minutes with her. He felt some sympathy for her. Sure, she was portrayed as a type of queen bee within the school grounds, despite being a Freshman. But within her household, she has major problems with her family. Not per say her mum, but particular her sisters. While her father has different ideals in how he raised his daughters, some of the things Bonnie mentioned seemed a bit radical to Paul.
On the contrary, his parents were way different. They were easy going, not that strict, but wanted their children to perform well at their private school. Stay healthy and out of trouble. The last one, Paul failed to live up to, but some things are better left unsaid.
"Why keep this to yourself for so long? Why not your Mum? Why not tell your friends? Hope? Crystal? Even your best friend, Tara? Why tell me of all people?" Paul asks.
"Because... My mum wouldn't understand, she'll just laugh it off, saying girls will be girls. If only she knew what they did to my morality. My sisters are very good at covering it up. As for my friends, I-I... I just didn't want them to see me as a popular kid who has problems at home. They would probably won't respect me anymore." Bonnie says.
"Bonnie, you're talking nonsense. They're your friends! They will stick with you no matter what! If they don't, then you need to start making some new ones. Surely Tara would understand. I can't see her being that type of person to be what you described. She's a very compassionate girl. Besides, everybody's got problems at home. If there's problems that are toxic and troublesome that are using children grief or abuse, the police or government services should be involved and protect them at all costs."
"I don't wanna lose my family. My mum is such a great parent, but she's so.. How can I put this in the nicest of ways? Detached? At times. Like she thinks were messing around and having fun. I seriously doubt what they do is fun towards me." Bonnie explains.
Paul couldn't believe this newfound Bonnie. Had she been possessed or something? Paul had to get more answers, but had to tread carefully from here on out. She's opened herself like a can of worms.
"O-Okay, but why say all of this now? What made you say this, right here, right now?" Paul asks carefully.
Bonnie looks dead eye at the teen, "Your words were stuck in my head..."
"What?" Paul says.
"Every time you went off at me... Your words stuck with me. They kept on repeating inside my head... I felt bad! I-I tried to shake it off, ignore it and fade it out. But after 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 months... They were still there! So I got thinking, what do I do to clear my mind? To clear my conscious. Maybe you have the answer!" Bonnie says.
Paul felt a tad bad. He might have said some things that shouldn't have come out of his mouth, but she deserved most of them very time.
"Gosh Bonnie... I didn't know what was happening."
"(Sighs) No importa, It doesn't matter. I know everyone either respects me or hates my guts at school. Mostly hate I reckon." Bonnie says looking away.
"But there's still hope... You can change your ways. Turn a new leaf!" Paul leans closer to Bonnie.
Bonnie turns towards Paul again.
"How?" She asks.
That was a good question by Bonnie. Paul had to think about this for a few seconds before answering.
"People can change Bonnie. It depends on what it is. Attitude. Power... Money. You become greedy. And once they realise it... It's late for them. But only you can control your life. No one else. People can give advice and opinions to you, but in the end, you got to trust your instincts and do what's right. You control your own destiny Bonnie." Paul says slowly.
Bonnie slowly processed what Paul said. It was a different tone from other times Paul spoke to her. This was more of a 'giving her advice' sort of tone, rather than spraying her for the actions she has done in the past. Bonnie understood what he said and started to nod her head.
"Thanks Paul... I needed that." Bonnie says. She had a small grin on her face for the first time tonight.
"No worries. And don't worry, I won't tell anyone about our conversation here." Paul says keeping this chat a secret.
Bonnie looks up at him with a small grin. "Thanks." She says softly.
Paul stares back at her with a couple of nods. "Why don't we wrap up tonight's session early. You hungry?" Paul says pulling out his phone.
"Uh yeah? I was afraid to ask for some snacks from you." Bonnie says.
"I wouldn't let you starve. How about I get us a pizza?"
"Pizza sounds nice. Can I get a small margherita?.. Uh-Please?" Bonnie says.
"Sure." Paul presses a few button on his phone and he pockets it after half a minute. "Done."
"Really? That quick?" Bonnie says surprised.
"God bless UberEats. So, we won't talk about our previous topic anymore, what do you reckon of the assignment we got issued?" Paul asks.
"Ohh do we have to?" Bonnie says with a small nag in her voice.
...
"Okay fine. Personally I think we shouldn't be doing a second project. Like instead, we should be reading a novel and writing an essay about a certain topic within the book or do a Q&A about it. It's not practical to do two projects, especially back to back for English." Bonnie says.
"Yeah I agree with you there. I mean, the education system here is pretty shit, compared to many other countries." Paul says.
"Tell me about it." Bonnie says.
"When I'm in this town, it's full of freaking geniuses!" Paul says making a big deal about it.
"Yeah! What's up with that? Some kind of genetic forcefield over our town or something like that. You can't fit too many High IQ people into one town without it being ratioed."
"Yyyyyeah I don't think demographics or statistics count for that one.. Say speaking of demographics. I noticed you spoke Spanish earlier?" Paul asks.
"Oh yeah, I have a Hispanic background. Couldn't you tell from my surname?" Bonnie says, surprised he didn't pick it up from her name.
"Well it reminded me of a dog breed, the Rottweiler." Paul says.
Bonnie gave off a small genuine laugh, "I haven't heard that one before!"
And so for the next few hours, the two teens were talking to each other like they had been friends for many years. Bonnie really seemed to.. Enjoy Paul's company.
Bonnie admitted it felt nice to talk to someone else for a change.
Paul went to sleep that night thinking about his good chat with Bonnie. That was probably the first time ever, where he actually felt Bonnie was being honest and genuine about herself. He didn't know where she was hiding all of this. But he was quiet content that he got through to her tonight. But still, he didn't completely trust her. It happened all so fast, he was caught off guard a few times tonight. Once Bonnie left, he cleaned up the place and prepared for bedtime.
He was ready to catch some zzzs for the night. He lays down on the bed ready to fall asleep. It felt a bit weird wearing normal clothes to bed. But he'll live.
It would be the same night where events that took place early next morning, wouldn't go down the same as it should have gone for Team Possible... What does that even mean? Well prepare for a rude awakening.
Author Notes:
And... Scene! Wow! Unlucky Paul to be partnered up with Bonnie, but it's about time Bonnie opened up to someone! And of course, it had to be Paul...
- It's amazing how to concept of the chapter changed within 2 paragraphs.
- I betcha I get some hate for making a full turnaround for Bonnie. It was a build up people! Check some of the earlier chapters!
- No importa = It doesn't matter. Spanish translation.
So I'm finally stringing a few chapters in a row for the first time in a few months... Well that's it for now. Get ready for the next chapter. It will be a dozy! But until then.. Take Care!
