Chapter 73.
The Killing Game.
(Clara POV)
The Hirogen Taken over Voyager, Put everyone, But Harry, and a handful of others, Sam, Naomi, Chloe and Myself. While they put my Dad into those Holodecks hunting them Hurting them. Dad was just hurt too. I headed to Sickbay to see Dad.
Once I got there. I saw that piece of shit who done all this.
"Doctor," I said. As the Doc came over. "How's Dad,"
"He is going to be fine. But this is getting ridiculous," Doc said.
"How many," I said.
"3 Dead," Doc said.
"This needs to end. Any more of this crew gets hurt and you going to see." I said.
"See what, A human girl, Being hunters," He said.
"You're stupid. If he Dies. I'm coming for all of you," I said. Leaving.
I managed to get away and down to Engineering. Where Not one Hirogen was. As I started to See if I can still access everything which I could but the self destruct. But I wasn't going to kill everyone. I need to get this ship ready to hit these pissing Hirogen. As I went to see where they had Put Dad. And I found that. Dad, 7, Tuvok, Chakotay, Tom and Neelix was in the Red Dead Redemption 2 Story line programme.
"Hold on Dad. I'm ending this," I said.
(Scott POV/ Arthur POV) (Due to the Interface)
We managed to get to Horseshoe overlook. Charlies (Tuvok) Took me hunting. John who went missing as Abagail (7) got me to go looking for him. For Her. While Dutch and Hosea was working on selling those goddamn Bonds from the Train heist. I had to go and find bloody Swanson. Who I was with a group of people playing poker. As I had 2 games winning straight. I was going to go back to camp with Swanson as he took off. And I found him being attack by this big shit.
"OI. Get your hands of Him," I said.
"Stay out of this, boy," He said.
I pulled out my gun. "I said get off of him. Or I kill you,"
"Fine," He said throwing Swanson down and walking off. But When I turned back to Swanson he was walking on the Bridge which lets a Train over.
I managed to get him off at the right time. As a train got there. As we got him back to the Camp with my horse.
Then I had to go to Valentine to find the others. Where I had to fight this big asshole of a guy whom I almost killed if it wasn't for some punk little brother. As I got cleaned up. Dutch came over with Josiah. Who found out that Sean was still alive back in Blackwater. Where our heist went wrong. Even thought we planned it perfectly. Someone told someone Or someone in this group told them and been working with them since. Which meant. Charlies and I went with Josiah back near Blackwater to save Sean. Javier (Chakotay) came with us also. We saw Sean being more to a camp. Where. Charles went to scout the area to find a vintage point. As Javier and I went behind to of the bounty hunters and killed them. But there were 2 more ahead of us who we couldn't get as they had a look out. Which signal to those 2 making it a shootout. As Javier and I started shooting the hunters. When one of the on the hill was about to shoot. But Charles got there just in time and killed him. As we went on clearing bounty hunters as they came at us till we got to Sean and Cut him down. Then told Javier and Charles to get him back to camp first. While I make sure no one tracks us back there.
Once I got back to was a party. Then I saw John by himself. Who told me about this train that we could hit to get us some more cash to get away a bit more. But the only problem was that it was going fine till we had some law on us. Which made me think that someone told them. While the others thought it was random. So I let them go with that. Then We got back to Camp. That was when we found out that Lenny (Tom) came back without Micah since he got caught in Strawberry by Law. Dutch got me to take Lenny to Valentine to Calm him down which ended well. As we came back and I went over to my bed and laid down. But before I went to sleep I swear I saw Abagail looking at me. Why I don't know.
The next morning Dutch got me to go and get Micah out. I knew exactly what to do. I was going to ask him if he knew anyone who wants Dutch to get him to be fooled by that. I been thinking ever since Micah joined the gang. That Micah has been the one to do all of this.
I got there and busted him out. Tried to get him to come back to camp. But he wasn't. Not till he get something done. Whatever it was I didn't know. But I wasn't sticking around to find out as I went hunting which I got some meat for Pearson (Neelix) as he got it for the stew.
(Clara POV)
I couldn't get everything transferred down to Engineering so I was slow managing to get it to Astrometrics. While it was slow going I went and got a phaser which I could hide. "Computer The Phaser you are reading on myself delete it from the database. There is to be no record on this Phaser, Also Stop internal Sensors from Detecting it Phaser fire," I said.
"Authorization code required," Computer said.
"Authorization. McCall Beta 8 Charlie 9," I said.
"Authorization code accepted, Request Complete," Computer said.
Then I got everything ready. Then I heard the door opening as I turned off the screen to show a repair list which how much something is complete.
"You," He said.
"What," I said.
"What are you doing here?" He said.
"Get to get these systems back online. I don't know about you. But I don't like the thought of a ship sneaking up on me or this ship," I said.
"Who told you to do this," He said get closer. Then I got the idea. My Enzyme. If I can get enough into him. He will be mine so I can get Voyager back.
"None of your business," I said as He got closer.
"WHO!" He said as he was close enough to me as I launched my hand at his chest and pumped it in. As enough got in I let go. "What have you done,"
"Enough," I said.
"I," he said.
"I said Enough," I said Making him shut up. "That's right, you can't do anything now. I pumped you with so much of my enzyme you have no choice but to listen to me. Now. You are going to get Ensign Kim down here. I don't care what you say. But you will not tell anyone about this. And you will not try to stop any of us getting this ship back, Now Get it done,"
As he left. As I managed to get everything back and Transferred to Astrometrics. 5 minutes later. Harry came in with him again. As He stayed down there. Harry came up.
"What is going on with that guy, Clara," Harry said.
"Oh he is loaded up on my Enzyme. He can't do anything against us for a while," I said. "Look, I managed to get all the key systems to Astrometrics just waiting for the Access code to bring them online. Everything is ready to go. But we need to get the others,"
"You what and what?" Harry said.
"I pumped a ton of my Enzyme in him. I can't even go against us. Or tell anyone what happened to him," I said. "I have this too, For when we kick it off," Showing him the Phaser.
"Nice," Harry said. "But how do we get the others out,"
"The Doctor," I said.
"I got word less than a minute that 7 was hurt. The Doc is going to use one of her Nanoprobes to break her interface as soon as she is back in the Holodeck," Harry said.
"Good, Then We use her to get the Doctor access to get Dad free. Then We started taking Voyager back," I said.
"But we are also going have to shut down those holodecks. There are even Holo emitters on almost every deck," Harry said.
"You are going have to work on that, I'll going to be down in Astrometrics as soon as this starts," I said. "Let's go,"
(Scott POV/ Arthur POV)
I was heading back when I found Abagail.
"Abagail, Need a ride back to Camp," I said.
"Sure," Abagail said as she got on as we went there. Not long after. I had to go to Meet Micah since he got a job that needed done. As Soon as I got there we went in and took it. But on the way to Camp. We got Ambushed but thanks to the Lancaster Repeater that Micah gave me. Took care of the ambush no problem. But the Wagon was wracked. But we got the cash and Split it as Micah went on. Not long after I got back, We found out from the O'Discoll we caught. Kieran told us about a spot where we went and took out a couple of O'Discoll's. And got some Cash too. Then back to Camp where I found out about 2 federal Agents. Great. Feds. Then John had this Job which we went and done. But once we got back we had a run-in Cornwall. The Same guy who we stolen the Bonds from. Which we ended up having a fire fight. Which we managed to get away. But we were Moving.
Once we got to our new camp site. Abagail had something for us. But she only wanted me to get with her. So we went and got to the place. But. There wasn't anything there.
"What is this Abagail," I said. "There is nothing here,"
"Trust me, You will understand," Abagail said.
"What aren't you tell me," I said. Then there was a shock on my Neck. "Ow," As I looked and saw 7. "7,"
"Captain," 7 said.
"What is going on?" I said.
"The Hirogen has taken over Voyager, The Entire crew is on either one of these Holodecks," 7 said.
"Wait. This is my Red Dead Programme," I said.
"Yes, Commander Chakotay, Commander Tuvok, Lt Paris and Neelix are here," 7 said.
"What about the outside," I said.
"Ensign Kim and The Doctor have a plan. They're using it now," 7 said.
"Where are we?" I said.
"Just outside of a old house why?" 7 said as I heard something Fire.
"Doesn't Matter Run," I said. Grabbing her and ran for it as we got clear of the building as it went up. But once the smoke clear it showed Voyager's decks.
(Clara POV)
There was an Explosion across 3 Decks, I got out my phaser and headed for Astrometrics. Hopefully, Dad will meet me there.
(Scott POV)
"Let's get there, I can start Taking Voyager back," I said.
As 7 and I headed in, With the weapons we have aimed up. As we found out we were on Deck 8.
"Deck 8," 7 said.
"Let's get to Astrometrics. Then we can start fighting back," I said.
As we headed for there. As we came across 2 O'Discoll's as I pulled 7 back then Shot them.
"Looks like the Hirogen have been busy, This Entire section has been equipped with Holo emitters," I said.
As we got there and found Clara there.
"Dad," Clara said hugging me.
"Hey, Kiddo," I said.
"There are 85 Hirogen on Board, Concentrated on Decks 2 through 9," 7 said.
"Bridge," I said.
"4 Hirogen and," 7 said.
"Harry," Clara said.
"At least he's alive, The Neural interfaces, you said they're controlled through Sickbay," I said.
"Yes, There's only one Hirogen in Sickbay with the Doctor but the Corridors outside are heavily Guarded," 7 said.
"That's our first objective, Disable the Interfaces, But we'll need help," I said.
"We did have allies in the Gang," 7 said.
"It's time we mount a resistance of our own," I said.
"Dad Here, You can use this," Clara said Passing me a Phaser.
"Hold on to it, Get to your Sister and Watch her," I said.
"You got it Dad, just come back," Clara said.
"I always have," I said.
As 7 and I headed back and got to the Gang.
"Arthur, What is happening?" Dutch said.
"That Explosion was caused by O'Driscoll's There are trying to get there hands on advanced Government weaponry to use on us," I said.
"Then We are going to Stop them," Dutch said.
"We are going to need help. I saw what could be an hideout in there. Maybe there are other who will be willing to fight the O'Driscoll's with us," I said.
"Go," Dutch said.
As I nodded to 7 as we found a Jeffries Tube and Headed for Holodeck 2.
As we went through as we Found the Panel and I got the Doc here.
"Captain," Doc said. "Is, Is it you,"
"Yes, we've got to disable the rest of those interfaces," I said.
"The Controls are routed through the surgical console in Sickbay, But it will take time to disable all of them," Doc said.
"Screw that, I'll access the Jeffries tube that runs under that deck plate, set a few TNT and blow out the console," I said.
"Charges? The Hirogen have seized the armouries," Doc said.
"No problem, I got all the ammo I need right here," I said showing him my TNT.
"Holographic explosives?" Doc said.
"With the Safety protocols off line, they are as good as the real thing," I said. "Stay here, 7 head back to the others. I'll go and do this,"
"Aye Captain," 7 said.
As we went our separate ways.
As I headed for Sickbay. As I tired to hack it.
"Damn, Level 9 force field around the damn console, if I don't shut that down, These charges won't do shit. Set it for 5 minutes. More than enough time to take it off," I said as set it and then went in.
As I got in and then hide. As a Hirogen came out of the office.
"Surprise," I said.
"You," He said.
"There are 10 pounds of Dynamite under the floor set to blow in less than 3 minutes," I said.
"I will not leave," he said.
As I shot him in the head. Then Went to the Office and got to work on shutting it down. As I found another Phaser.
As I got it. Then the door opened as a Hirogen came in. Just missing me as I shot back but missed. Then Headed out as I got shot on the leg. But I managed to get Clear before it explosives detonated.
But they managed to get me and Took me to my Ready room.
"Leave us," He said.
"I see you've done some redecorating," I said.
"Your attempt to retake this vessel was inventive," He said. "From the Day I seized Voyager, you put up a dauntless fight, but your fight is over now, You're going to help me shut down these simulations and repairs the Holodecks,"
"No," I said. "We'll destroy this ship before we surrender it,"
"Don't threaten me, Captain, I've faced for more intimidating prey than you," he said. "If this fight continues, I promise you, I will hunt down and kill every member of your crew,"
"Well, by then this ship will be damaged beyond repair and there won't be much of a trophy left. will there," I said.
"Perhaps I should kill you and find someone who will cooperate," He said.
"Good luck, you'll get the same response from all of them," I said.
"You don't realize what's at stake," He said.
"I know what's at stake your sick little game," I said.
"This is not a game," he said.
"Then what is it," I said.
"I'm trying to create a future for my people," He said.
"Future?" I said.
"I don't expect you to understand, You are prey," He said.
"You underestimate us," I said.
"Yes, Perhaps I do," He said.
"I'm listening," I said. "Coffee Black," As I got a coffee. Then Sat down.
"My People are hunting themselves into extinction, Your holodeck technology might offer us, an alternative. a new way of life, Instead of Scattering ourselves across the Quadrant in pursuit of prey, We could simulate the hunt and give ourselves a chance to rebuild our civilization," He said.
"And confine your killing to holograms," I said.
"With the safety protocols offline, the pursuit is just as challenging," He said.
"Oh I understand what you're trying to do, But then why have you been torturing us, Why have you thrown my crew into one brutal simulation after another?" I said.
I've been studying your behaviour as I do with all my prey, But your holodecks allowed me to go further, to explore your culture, your history, I must admit, I've learned a great deal," He said.
"How so," I said.
"Your people have faced extinction many times, But you've always managed to avoid it. You seem to recognize the need for change," He said.
"Yes, You've got one of those moments running right now on the holodeck, It was made by me. Called Red Dead Redemption," I said.
"A difficult eras, And yet you survived," He said.
"It wasn't easy," I said.
"You are a resilient species," He said. "I admire your cunning,"
"Let's end this, I'll call a cease-fire and we can try to contain the damage I want my ship back, But in return I will give you what you need to create the holodeck technology, it would be cunning for you to agree," I said.
As we went to the Bridge.
"Bridge to Holodeck 1," he said.
"Yes," he said.
"I've come to an agreement with Captain McCall, Call a crease fire," He said.
"What," He said.
"Captain," Tuvok said.
"It's true Tuvok, Our first order of business is to call off the troops, Tell Dutch to Stand down. Convince him that him and Colm get a talk things out," I said.
"Aye captain," Tuvok said.
"Turanji, Order our hunters to end the fighting" he said. "Our civilization depends on this agreement,"
"Acknowledged," Turanji said.
"Let get to Engineering. Try and shut down the holodecks," I said.
As we left for Engineering and started trying to shut down the holodecks.
"These sensors shoe you've placed holo emitter on deck 5 through 12? No wonder the system breached, You've turned Voyager into one big holodeck," I said.
"Can you shut it down?" Alpha said.
"Yes, But I'm going have to initiate an overload, We'll worry about making repairs later, right now, We've got to put an end to those simulations, McCall to Kim," I said.
"Yes Captain," Harry said.
"Harry, I'm going to need your help overloading the holo Emitter network, I'm transferring optical processor control to you now, Start charging the secondary power relays, we'll use them to trigger the overload," I said.
"I'm on it," Harry said.
"This is going to take some time, There are over 800 emitter that we have to," I said as the door opened.
"Move away from the controls," Turanji said.
"Why haven't you ordered the cease fire?" Alpha said.
Then he shot him.
"Move away from the controls," Turanji said.
"Listen to me," Alpha said.
"No," Turanji said shooting him again.
He was dead.
"What are you waiting for?" I said.
"I am a hunter, You are my prey, Run," Turanji said.
As I took off. As the wound on my leg finally healed. Then Crawled through a Jeffries tube. But I found an O'Driscoll whos legs weren't there. I managed to pull him back bring them back. So Why not use it on this prick. As I saw that the end of the corridor was the breach. Which lead back to the Red dead program.
As I took care behind some debris.
"Please don't do this, I can be of use to you, I can help you repair the ship," I said. as Turanji came closer. Then his gun vanished as I went and knocked him back. As it came back. As I picked the Lancaster up. As he ran as I went after him. But he did a stupid thing as he went towards the breach in the holodeck. As I cocked the repeater. "This hunt is over. Tell your hunters to stand down. I'll use this if I need to," As Turanji came near me. But he came near me again. As I shot him as he fell out of the breach into the holodeck. "McCall to Kim. How long?"
"5 seconds, Captain," Harry said.
True to his word it did shut down then.

"Captain's Log Stardate 51715.2 This damage to Voyager has been extreme, Both sides have taken heavy casualties, and it's clear that no one is going to win this conflict, The fighting has reached a standstill, and the remaining Hirogen has agreed to negotiate a truce, End log," I said.
"What is this," he said.
"An Optronic datacore, you can use it to create holodeck Technology on your own vessels, I made a promise to your Alpha before he died that I would give this technology and knowledge to the Hirogen. Take it," I said.
"His ideas were unconventional, I do no share them," he said.
"Was he any more unconventional than you are, Calling a cease fire with your prey, Only a few days ago, the thought of speaking with us on equal terms would've been inconceivable, but here we are," I said. "Accept this, A trophy, You can use it to create a new future for your people, At the very least you can hang it on your bulkhead," As he took it and nodded at me and I back at him as he and the others left Voyager. As the 4 Hirogen ships more on.
As we got to work on Repairs. But when I got to my quarters. Chloe and Clara was there. who rushed me and hugged me. As we got dinner. And then went to my bed with my girls.
