Chapter 18, The Hunter's Revenge

Kingdom of Ingrassia, Free Guild

Sivert's eyes looked from quest to quest on the quest board. It's been six days since he helped Luminous and met the other guardians.

Since then the Hunter has been doing nothing but Guild quests.

Sadly..

There were no more A+ and Sivert didn't want to do another B+ or B- rank quest. They were too boring!

He pouted like a child and walked away from the board. He walked out the Guild and was met with the afternoon sun shining on him.

Sivert sighed and placed both his hands in his pockets. He walked onto the streets.

His armor was still in good shape. It looked as nothing touched him. He only did three A+ quests the past three days and two B- quests on the last two days.

Today he just finished his sixth and he was still not satisfied..

It wasn't enough..

Sivert wanted to shoot his Ace more.

"Maybe I should repair my Adored." He whispered with a small smile on his face, Aria did recommend working on the sniper rifle a few days ago.

The Hunter couldn't wait to see what his sniper would end up like once he worked on it.

He took a nice 6 minute walk to his estate, he walked down the stone pathway and towards the front gate.

The Hunter arrived at his gate and hopped over it.

He walked towards his front door and placed his hand on the door handle and opened his door.

Sivert entered his home and closed the door, locking it.

He walked down the main hallway and took a turn into his workshop.

He began to unstrap his armor and place it gently on the wooden tables he uses. Sivert took a nice relaxing stretch and rolled up the sleeves of his shirt.

He walked over to his main working table and sat down.

"It's been a while." He whispered as he crouched down and picked up a small box containing the parts of his destroyed sniper rifle.

"I wonder what kind of masterpiece I'll make out of you.." Sivert couldn't wait! His Ace was a Flawless creation.. or recreation. He hoped he could do the same with this sniper.

"Oo… Skill jamming bullets sound fun." He wondered if he could create such an ammunition.

It'd be overpowered for sure..

He pulled out a few tools from his tool box and got to work. Aria watched her guardian curiously to see what kind of creation he has in store.

The Hunter worked on his Adored for most of the day, he first made sure to repair it before making any upgrades.

He wasn't a gunsmith but after watching Banshee do it a few times he got the gist of it.

And Sivert may not have the proper tools..

But Magic is one hell of a thing.

Once he finished repairing the Sniper, he made sure to upgrade it so the frame and bodywork could handle the new power that it was going to wield.

He spent about 20 hours on this, when it turned morning Aria suggested he take a break.

Which he did.

Sivert was currently sitting in his front yard on a white chair. He was reading a book on creation magic while also playing with the two young Direwolf cubs he found in the Jura Forest.

They looked so cute!

They were trying to catch his finger.

"Almost there." Sivert teased them.

The Black furred cub growled and jumped up only for Sivert to pull his finger higher which caused it to miss.

It landed on it's butt and growled at Sivert.

"Oh calm down.." The Hunter chuckled and gave it a gentle scratch under the chin.

"You know.. I should give you guys names.." Sivert whispered, he watched the young cubs roll over so Sivert could give them both a belly rub.

While Sivert wanted to name them, but naming monsters is dangerous..

But he lived for danger so..

"Oh screw it.. just this once." He closed his book and stopped petting the young cubs.

"Hm.." Sivert looked up at the morning sky, trying to think of a name.

Two names in fact.

A girl name and a boy name. These two were siblings after all. With the white one being the girl and the black one being the boy.

"What about Shiva and Fenrir?" As soon as the name escaped his mouth Sivert felt magicules drain from him, not a lot though.

The magicules escaped from Sivert and formed two cocoons which captured the two cubs

Sivert waited for a few minutes for the upgrade to finish. Once it was done the cocoons of magicules dispersed and slowly vanished.

"Hm.." Sivert leaned closer, examining the two Direwolves.

"Your magicule count grew a lot.. but maybe we'll see some progress when you grow." He told them.

Nothing much changed besides them growing a little bigger and an increase in their magicules. Sivert suspected if he gave them time they'd grow stronger as they grow up.

"Oh well, for now. You guys are going to be Shiva and Fenrir whom I love." Sivert picked up the two young wolves and hugged them both tightly.

Much to their dislike…

Sivert continued to spoil the young cubs with affection and treats until he heard a knock at his front gate.

He sighed and placed them both on the table next to him. "Don't move." He told them.

The young cubs nodded in unison.

The Hunter stood up and walked over to his front gate.

"Who is knocking at my front gate this early in the mor-" Sivert stopped in his tracks once he spotted 7 figures standing in front of his gate.

His eyes widened..

There were Five Guardians standing next to each other, waiting for him. There were also two young girls also standing with them.

Sivert could only guess they were guardians because of their armor and their weapons.

There were two hunters along with one warlock and two titans.

They all wore armor of their class while the two young girls next to them wore black robes.

"Sivert! Hi!" The Hunter and Titan Ivory and Sim he met a few days ago waved at him.

The Hunter cleared his throat and regained his composure.

He walked to the front gate and could feel the gazes of the other guardians as he did.

Even though they had helmets on, their gazes were like piercing knives!

"Hello." He gave them a gentle smile and a small wave.

They all looked at each other except Ivory and Sim. "You're the Hunter who dodged the bullet?"

A fellow hunter in black and red armor asked while crossing her arms.

Sivert was a little confused then remembered when he dodged the bullet from Ivory's sniper.

"Yeah." He answered, still keeping the same gentle smile.

They didn't buy it..

Especially since Sivert was wearing casual clothes..

Ivory noticed this and cleared her throat to get their attention.

"Hey, you should show them your armor and gun." She told her fellow Hunter.

Sivert nodded and turned around.

A Few Minutes Later

The Five guardians stared at Sivert in his hunter armor.

"Show us your ghost." The same female Hunter told him.

Sivert sighed..

Was his armor and gun not enough?

He held out his left hand and summoned Aria.

"Well I'll be damned.." the other Titan standing next to Sim chuckled.

"It's another Hunter! And a Man to!"

The Titan pulled Sivert in for a big bear hug, squeezing the very life out of him.

"A man?" Sivert was confused..

"Yeah! It's been only me and Sim ever since we lost our friend Ike a few days ago. These three are women while these two are girls." The Titan pointed at his fellow Guardians.

"Oh.." Sivert still didn't get it but played it off that he did. He was a little saddened to hear that they lost someone but decided not to ask or delve any further into it. Not yet at least.

"I'm Vince, pleasure to meet you. Hey, is it true you beat Sim up?" The now named Vince shook Sivert's hand roughly and asked.

"Yeah! He did! He moved in the blink of an eye you should've seen how fast he was!" Ivory spoke before Sivert could answer.

"Well, I'll have to test that out later." Vince removed his helmet, revealing a man with brown hair and eyes.

The others removed their helmets and introduced themselves. Sim was a man who looked in his 30's, he had black hair and eyes.

"You can call me Astraea." The other Hunter standing next to Ivory introduced herself.

She was a human female with long black hair that was tied in a pony tail that sat on her shoulder along with purple eyes.

"Aurora." The Warlock standing next to Astraea casually introduced herself.

She was also a human female only with long brown hair also tied in a similar manner to Astraea. Her eyes were also brown.

"Then there's those two." Ivory pointed at the two young girls who looked up at Sivert.

"You can call me Kaguya." The young girl had short black hair and red eyes. She looked like she was 14..

Sivert's eyes shifted to the other young girl who looked barely 11 or 12..

She had medium length silver hair and his eyes met her silver eyes

She smiled and closed her eyes.

"To think you were here to.. Young Wolf." She said in a casual tone.

The others were shocked to hear her call him 'Young Wolf.'

Sivert's eyes widened in shock.

"But then again. I'm not surprised.. you always did pull off the impossible. I mean remember when you managed to beat me and five other guardians with your Knife? Or the time you threw my Nova bomb back at me?" she opened her eyes and asked.

"No.." Sivert didn't believe it.

It couldn't be..

"Hehe." The Young girl continued to smile at Sivert.

"Yup, I'll say it to confirm it. It's your one and only best friend. Lyra!" she reached out her right hand and gave him a thumbs up along with a bright smile.

Sivert had no words..

Neither did Aria..

The area became silent for a few minutes. Only the morning wind could be heard..

"Oh?"

Lyra's expression changed to a surprised one once Sivert suddenly kneeled before her.

"I'm so sorry.. I couldn't protect you.. or the others." Sivert lowered his head..

Lyra's smile returned..

"Still the crybaby when it comes to your friends huh?" She crouched down and lifted Sivert's chin.

"You did kill that bastard though.. right? Rhulk or whatever his name was?" she asked.

He gave her a small nod.

"Then don't worry too much about it. As long as you avenged me and the others. Plus! I got a second chance at life and Nemo is here with me to!"

Lyra held out her left hand and summoned the ghost named Nemo.

The ghost Sivert also saved before Rhulk could drain it's Light like he drained Lyra's Light, The Hunter didn't even bother asking how it was here right now. Sivert smiled, he shed small tears and Lyra wiped them off for him.

"Stop it already. Your embarrassing yourself in front of them. You're the Legendary Young Wolf! The Hero of Last City! So stop crying like a little baby and give me a big hug so we can get this over with!"

Lyra spread her arms and invited Sivert..

He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her. Hugging the reincarnated Warlock tightly.

He hugged her for a few minutes before releasing her and standing up.

"Ah, no wonder we lost.. It's the Young Wolf." Sim leaned closer to Ivory and whispered.

She only nodded while smiling at the wholesome reunion.

An Hour Later

Sivert led the 7 Guardians inside his home and was met with praises from all of them after seeing how cleaned and neat it was.

Especially when he lived here alone.

Once he led them inside the living room to sit down Lyra couldn't help but ask how he was here and if the Last City is doing safe.

Though Sivert didn't want tell them about the Last City and it's destruction they all deserved to know..

He slowly explained his story of how he got here and his story in this world. How he met many new people and his journeys.

Along with his new power.

After explaining about his journey he told them all about the Last City and his conversation with the Witness.

"And you didn't kill the bastard?!"

Lyra immediately scolded him once she heard that he just walked away after their conversation finished.

The others except Kaguya who was killed shortly before the death of Crota and never heard of the Witness also scolded Sivert for a while.

"It didn't feel like the right time. Don't worry though I swear next time I see him. I'll kill him or it... I promise." Sivert told them, with desperation in his eyes.

Lyra crossed her arms and sighed.

"Alright well.. I'll hold it to you." The others nodded in agreement.

It became silent.. no one knew what to say now.

Well except for Sivert who was staring at Kaguya's ghost.

"You said your ghost was killed.. is that the same one or a different one?" Sivert had to ask!

It was really bugging him.

"No, it's the same one. I found him wandering the Jura forest a few years ago when I ran from the Empire.." She casually answered..

Sivert was so confused..

"Then how is it.. still alive? If it was killed?" he asked again, not understanding.

Kaguya shrugged and turned to look at her ghost floating next to her, she tapped on his shell, pulling him from his thoughts.

"Oh, sorry. Uh.. I don't really know how I got here. All I remember is dying then staring at a black void for I don't know how long. But then a bright hand reached out towards me and I was suddenly surrounded with trees and I saw that I was in a big forest."

Sivert was in deep thought..

Could it be the Light? He mentally asked himself..

It could've revived the ghost in someway.. or some other party could be involved.

"Oh well. I'm just glad there's other guardians here and hell.. there could be more out there." Sivert said with a small smile, the others nodded in agreement.

It was a good thing but also a bad thing..

Some could've been captured and enslaved. Or worse, they could be working for dangerous nations.

Like The Eastern Empire..

Sivert closed his eyes, he just hoped there wasn't any guardians serving such a force.

"So now that were all here. How about we make some foo-" Aria stopped herself..

She felt Darkness and it was close.

Not just her, Sivert also felt it.

He stood up from his seat and looked around with his Universal sense, there was nothing.. but he still felt powerful Darkness nearby.

"Are you alright?" Lyra asked, noticing his worried expression.

Sivert ignored her.

No.. the Darkness wasn't here.

"Your Throne World!" Aria shouted in realization as soon as she did Sivert got another headache!

Thanks to Sivert granting her a lot of access to the pocket dimension. She can also see what's going on when they're not there.

After all, the throne world is connected to the Ascendant plane since he has yet to find a way to detach it from there and It doesn't hurt to be safe.

"Throne World?!" the others shouted in unison.

"I'll explain later."

Sivert held out his right hand and created a portal made out of Light that led to his throne world.

"Now hold on a minute. I know that expression.. your about to go fight something." Lyra stopped him from entering by standing in the way.

She was really intuitive, especially when it came to Sivert.

"Possibly.." Sivert tried to enter his portal again but she grabbed his hand.

"Let us come! We haven't had good action in a while." She told him.

The Hunter turned and looked at the others, they nodded in agreement.

"Alright then, come on." Sivert entered the portal with the others following.

The Hero's Garden

They arrived on a cliff that overlooked the large sea surrounding the large island they were on.

The island was the only land in Sivert's large throne world since he didn't know what else to make in it other than a beautiful field of flowers that covered most of the island and a large house similar to the one in Ingrassia.

The ocean surrounding it spread out for miles..

"Woah.." The others looked around in amazement.

It was beautiful!

Sivert focused his eyes at the end of the sea out in the distance.

He spotted a small crack in the border of his Throne World..

It suddenly grew extremely large.

Until eventually a large green portal formed in the middle of the crack.

It was a Hive Portal.

"Hive." Aria muttered in surprise, "But how?" she asked Sivert. The Hunter shook his head.

"I don't know but it doesn't matter right now." Sivert held out his right hand and summoned his glaive.

"Hey.. wait a minute. Isn't tha- never mind. Why am I even asking.." Lyra stared at the Disciples Glaive in Sivert's hand.

She wasn't even surprised that he was wielding it.

Sivert's body was soon enveloped in his holy spirit armor as he quickly chanted the spell.

"My god.. a lot has changed.." Lyra whispered in surprise..

'How much stronger did he get?!' She asked herself mentally. Even though he told them he got much stronger this was still a surprise!

She was afraid of what he was capable of now..

The others were also amazed.

Sivert's black hair blew with the wind as it shifted around him.

Aria noticed this.. her guardian was ready for a fight!

Sivert on the other hand was thinking back to his conversation with the Witness. It warned him of Xivu Arath's attempts in trying to invade his throne world by using the Ascendant Plane.

It could also be the reason he's been receiving headaches nonstop since the throne world is connected to his mind.

"I swear.. I always get involved with these siblings and their children." Sivert mumbled in a little frustration.

First Oryx and his Four children, Crota and the two deathsinger sisters. Then his other son Nokris.

Then it was Savathun and her children!

Now It's Xivu Arath…

Why can't poor Sivert catch a break..

As the Green portal grew larger, Sivert started to detect a large amount of Hive coming from the other side.

There was Millions!

However, it didn't worry him.

"Alright you guys. Get ready." He told his fellow guardians.

"Hive huh? It's been a while." Sim cracked his knuckles, him and Vince were ready!

"Wait, how are we going to fight them? I can't swim by the way.." Ivory asked due to the large ocean separating the land and the portal.

Sivert stayed silent and walked off the cliff.

"Is he.." Astraea and her Fireteam watched Sivert casually walk on air..

"Look. I've known Gua- I mean Sivert for a long time. So you guys will be surprised.." Lyra told them with a smile of her own.

They only nodded while still watching in shock.

Sivert snapped his fingers, as soon as he did a large white bridge formed across the ocean. It connected from the portal to the large island he was once on.

He was welcoming them.

Once the bridge formed, hordes and hordes of thralls ran out from the portal.

Sivert couldn't help but feel nostalgic after hearing their loud and unnecessary screams.

The hordes of thralls ran on the bridge and towards the land.

"There's a lot… maybe a nuclear cannon would do." Sivert nodded lightly, agreeing with himself.

He let go of his glaive and it floated next to him. The Hunter held out both his hands and aimed the palms at the bridge below him.

An orange energy formed around his palms, Sivert fired the nuclear cannon once without chant and the result was amazing!

With just one blast, Sivert wiped out thousands of Hive. Halting their advance and forcing them to run away from the blast radius.

"What the hell.." Ivory whispered in disbelief. How could anyone wield such power?!

Lyra smiled at the sight. She didn't expect this kind of power from him. She really couldn't wait to see what else her best friend was capable of.

Sivert fired the Nuclear Cannon a few times, killing thousands and soon millions of Thralls.

"Hey! Don't kill them all!" Vince shouted at Sivert.

The Hunter forgot that they wanted action..

"Um.." he looked around trying to find a good spot for them to fight.

After all, they'd get caught in his nuclear magic if they just ran straight at the Hive.

Suddenly fleets of Hive Tombships along with dreadnaughts and Warmoons started to come out of the portal.

Not only that, the many thralls down below were being joined by Acolytes, Knights, Wizards and Ogres.

"There's a lot.." Sivert whispered in amazement. The others were also amazed by the huge number, even lowering their morale a little.

He couldn't help but finally understand how the mighty Cabal lost their home world 'Torobatl' to Xivu Arath. Especially after hearing the explanation from Empress Caital herself.

They were simply outnumbered!

There was millions here!

"Alright then, give me a few minutes and we can drop down." He told them, the two titans pouted while the others continued to watch in amazement.

The Hunter turned his attention to the large incoming army..

"Which one should I use.." Sivert wasn't worried though.

Nuclear magic was a good deterrent for such a large army.

"Gravity Collapse, I haven't used that one in a while."

Gravity Collapse was a forbidden large scale extinction type magic. It could wipe out millions depending on the casters focus and power.

Sivert clapped his hands together, a small black orb slowly formed as he separated his hands.

It was an Abyss Core.

The Hunter launched the Core at the incoming swarms of Hive.

The Core landed in middle of the swarms of hive.

As soon as it landed it exploded and grew larger, creating a super gravitational field or in other words An artificial black hole.

This supercharged gravitational field crushed anyone caught inside into the size of a small pebble.

The Swarms of Hive were caught off guard from this sudden explosion.

With no warning whatsoever gravity began to flatten them.

Millions and Millions of hive were pulverized, unable to bear their own weight. With just one blast of this magic Sivert wiped out a huge portion of the Hive's forces.

As more came through the portal they were soon caught in Gravity Collapse's field and joined in on their fellow Hive as they were crushed.

Not even the fleet of tomb ships and Dreadnaughts or Warmoons were safe. They were soon sucked in and were crushed along with the ground troops.

Eventually the spell wore off and there was nothing left but the small remains of lots of Hive.

"Huh.." Sivert crossed his arms, he was satisfied with this.

"Ok…" Lyra wasn't smiling anymore..

This power was ridiculous! That one spell could destroy the Last City!

She just hoped Sivert was still the same nice and caring Hunter she remembered..

While Sivert did wipe out millions that wasn't all of them.

Once again more hordes of Hive came, however there were many larger ones this time.

Large Hive Knights and abnormal sized ogres supported the smaller knights and acolytes in attacking.

"Alright then. Let's go." He told them, Sivert dropped down from the air and landed on the bridge while the others jumped off the cliff and landed next to him.

The hordes of hive spotted them.

The Hunter held out his right hand and formed an Arc staff while the others prepared their weapons and Light.

They slowly walked towards the incoming army with Sivert in the lead.

Once they were in range the ogres and other ranged troops started firing their weapons.

All these attacks from a ton of Hive were enough to wipe out legions of guardians.

However, Sivert simply nullified them with the palm of his hand.

With another display of his power, the others couldn't help but shiver at the thought of trying to fight him.

They picked up their pace and started running towards the horde of hive.

The Hive kept firing only this time Sivert used his staff and deflected the attacks back towards them.

The Hunter took out a few hive acolytes and knights as he ran towards them.

Once he was close enough the hive switched formation and allowed the large knights along with smaller ones carrying swords to go and combat Sivert and his new allies.

"I'll let you guys take care of them!"

Sivert quickly shouted before jumping high up and landing in the middle of the horde.

He was too fast..

There was only a trail of arc light as Sivert cut through all of them faster then the speed of sound.

Not a single hive could react quick enough or even realize what just happened before getting decapitated by Sivert's Arc Staff.

"Come on.." Sivert whispered in disappointment. This was no fun!

These were just simple ground troops!

Meanwhile..

"Oh…. maybe we should've stayed at the cliff.." Kaguya couldn't help but mutter as five large sized ogres towered over them.

They were also backed up by a lot of knights.

"What are you talking about? That wouldn't be fun!" Vince and Sim cracked their knuckles.

Sim was enveloped in arc light, he was a Striker Titan while Vince was enveloped in solar flames.

A small flaming hammer formed in his hands.

He was a Sun breaker.

The two titans charged the large ogres.

"This is why Titans are so troublesome. Wait no I take that back, their useful. It's just these two knuckle heads are troublesome." Ivory walked forward and was enveloped in Arc Light.

Ivory was a Arcstrider. She formed an Arc Staff and rushed in to assist.

Her fellow Hunter Astraea held out her left hand and formed a Void bow with her void light.

She was a Nightstalker.. She rushed in to help her fellow guardians as well.

Aurora looked down at Lyra and Kaguya who in turn looked up at her.

She took one big sigh..

"I guess I'm babysitting again." She said in slight frustration. After all Lyra and Kaguya are still young so they aren't able to draw out the full power of their light.

They are also both Warlocks along with Aurora.

Aurora led the two young warlocks into the battle while keeping a close eye on them..

Sivert jumped up and slammed his Arc Staff down on the ground, sending a powerful shockwave and pulverizing the hundreds of Hive surrounding him.

The rest of the Incoming hive halted their advance after witnessing his power.

Well except one.

A single large hive knight with a large battle axe walked forward from out the crowd.

Sivert looked up at the knight as it towered over him.

The Hunter held out his left hand and snapped his finger.

With the use of his ultimate skill Lord of Darkness, he created a shockwave that destroyed the Hive Knight and turned him into ashes.

Sivert was disappointed..

"Were the hive always this weak and fragile?" He whispered with a bored look on his face.

"No.. I'm just to strong." He whispered in realization.

The difference in power here was so large..

Sivert was strong enough to wipe out planets no.. systems in total.

"Tch, whatever. I'll just clean you guys out."

The Arc staff in his hand slowly dispersed and he reached out his right hand towards the horde of hive.

He took a quick glance at his fellow guardians who were far back fighting off hordes of Hive.

They were at a safe distance.

The Hunter turned his attention back to the Hive he was fighting.

"Burn in hell you monsters.." he whispered.

Sivert was never a fan of the hive, though this did change a little after finding out they were tricked by the Darkness and tricked into forming a endless blood pact but still…

Such bloodthirsty monsters deserve to die.

From the deepest darkness, a black flame was called forth.

The flame was condensed to the size of a fist. Shone on the palm of Sivert's hand.

It was an abyss core, a very hard to control type of hellfire. But Sivert crushed it into his hand with ease.

Sivert whispered two words as his cold dark eyes glared the hive down.

"Death Streak…"

The abyss cored crushed into Sivert's hand became a black light that shone across the surrounding area. It had the property of penetrating through almost all types of matter.

When it passed through a living being, it directly affected their genetic sequences, forcibly rewriting their genes to kill almost anything it encountered.

It was a horrible and cruel magic, the epitome of pure evil and capable of destroying souls.

The light bore down on the Hive, destroying their very bodies and souls..

Millions and Millions more Hive were killed and their bodies disintegrated after the destruction of their souls.

As the light sored through the bridge and made it's way towards the portal more hive were caught in it and immediately killed without even realizing what just happened.

This was Death Streak a nuclear magic that Guy taught Sivert.

One The Hunter swore to only use on sick and cruel individuals.

Once the light dispersed and the spell was over. Not a single hive walked out from the large portal.

Not even Tombships or any other type of vehicle came out.

The millions and millions of Soul's of the Hive he just killed were absorbed by him using Darkness. He turned those souls into raw power, making Sivert stronger.

Sivert crossed his arms and sighed.

He fixed a glance at his fellow guardians once again.

He focused his vision and saw them fighting large ogres along with some large knights.

"Heh.." they looked like they were having fun.

Sivert uncrossed his arms and walked towards the portal.

He didn't even bother on avoiding the messy remains of the dead hive.

Sivert looked down at the ground and spotted a surviving Worm squirming.

He stepped on it, crushing and killing it.

They all deserved to be stepped on.

Sivert walked towards the hive portal.

His white cape blew with the wind as he increased his speed.

"Come on.." still not a single hive came out of the portal.

Sivert refused to believe he killed all of them. From what he's learned from Eris after studying the hive.

They reproduce like crazy, which meant their numbers were large.

Possibly in the billions.

"Aria." He called his ghost's name.

"You killed around fifty seven million. I couldn't count the ones that came out of the portal late or the ones who were in the tomb ships and dreadnaughts but there could've been a few more million in there." She casually answered, knowing what he wanted.

Aria would usually count how many Hive Sivert's killed back then since he was always curious in how many there were. Before it was hard for her to count but after doing it so many times it's gotten easy.

Sivert balled his hands into fist. Where were they?!

He sensed Darkness coming from the other side..

"Finally.." Sivert cracked his knuckles and waited for the millions more of Hive that rushed out to come closer.

"Oh?" He noticed a single Hive Knight with a large sword covered in green flames lead them into battle.

The Single Knight halted it's army and stabbed it's sword into the bridge.

"Lightbearer! We meet at Last! I've waited a long time for this moment. Today is the day I will do what my two weak older siblings could not!"

The Knight had a feminine voice, similar to Savathun.

She pointed at Sivert. "I Xivu Arath God of War will defeat you and prove that I am the Sharpest blade to ever exist!"

Sivert smiled, he found the leader.

He held out his right hand and summoned his Frostbite Sword.

"Come! Wielder of Light!" Xivu Arath raised her sword and charged at Sivert.

The Hunter did the same and eventually their two blades clashed, sending a shockwave throughout the area.

Sivert moved fast and used his small size to his advantage.

However, Xivu Arath was good with the sword.

She was able to counter this speed and keep up with him using different movements.

The Sword Fight lasted a few minutes, neither gaining ground.

When the other guardians were done with their fight, they rushed over to Sivert and watched the amazing sword fight.

They watched the Hunter move at fast speeds and move smoothly as he battled Xivu Arath's large sword.

"Hm?" Lyra focused her eyes on Sivert..

The way he was fighting, she noticed something..

"That bastard.." she smiled a little.

He was holding back! By a lot as well!

"Stop Holding back and kill her already! I'm tired!" Lyra shouted at her best friend.

A small smile appeared on Sivert's face.

"Well.. I was caught. It doesn't matter though, I got the information I needed." Sivert whispered.

He was only testing out her sword skills, he was satisfied with what he's learned from his analyzing.

Xivu Arath swung her large blade down and Sivert quickly cut through it with his own, shattering the blade and destroying it.

This move shocked the God of War and her army.

Sivert raised his left arm.

"Hey."

He caught Xivu's attention and he threw a fast and powerful punch at her face that launched the God of war towards her remaining forces.

She crashed and plowed through them, killing a lot of them and finally stopping.

"That's better." Lyra chuckled and crossed her arms.

The God of War slowly stood up..

"Impossible.." she whispered, blood began to spill out from her mouth and body.

She looked down at her wounds, they were severe.

"A completely failed invasion." She heard Sivert say, she looked up and saw him standing there with his new allies standing with him.

They all glared at Xivu Arath.

"No.. I will not die here! I will... I will survive!" She quickly turned around and used her remaining strength to run.

If she could just survive! She could rebuild her forces and attack again! After all, she doesn't have any troops left so no one would know what happened.

Xivu could easily convince the rest her brood back in her throne world that it was a draw or that she forced him onto the retreat but lost a ton of troops.

"I'll go after her.. stay here." Sivert told the others.

"Yeah.. you do that. We need a break." Ivory and Astraea both dropped down on their butts, panting heavily.

They never took on so much Hive at once!

"See you in a few." Lyra dropped down as well, her young body wasn't used to this power.

Sim and Vince surprisingly decided to stay back along with the rest.

They were all exhausted.

It's not every day they fight thousands and thousands at Hive at once.

Especially large ones.

Sivert gave them a small wave before following the retreating God of War.

The Hunter followed her inside the portal and was met with deepest parts of the Ascendant Plane.

There was no doubt that it wasn't. The Darkness he felt here was strong, very strong.

And..

"Shit.."

He cursed this situation.

There was a fleet of Pyramid Ships floating in the distance. At least a few hundred.

Sivert spotted Xivu Arath frozen in place a few feet ahead of him.

Staring at the Black Fleet.

"Ah.. marvelous!"

She shouted, suddenly Xivu Arath was dragged into a small taken portal in the blink of an eye.

Sivert recognized the way she was dragged inside.

She was Taken..

The Hunter stared at the Black Fleet, he felt so much nostalgia run through him after staring at them.

This time though he wasn't scared..

He was confident in himself and in his abilities.

This was a perfect opportunity to go all out for the first time with this new power to get revenge for the Sol System.. and avenge the Last City.

A Taken portal that took the shape of a triangle appeared in the distance.

Walking out from the portal was a familiar face..

The white smoke that emitted from it's head and took the form of many faces was so weird..

"How does that even work.." Sivert whispered in curiosity.

The tall humanoid figure slowly walked forward, "We have seen enough. It is time we eradicate you." It said..

Sivert couldn't help but chuckle.

"Eradicate me? Ha! So who are you going to send this time? Another one of your disciples? Or how about you yourself.. Witness. Either way I'll erase all you from existence."

The Hunter pointed his sword at the powerful Darkness user..

His jet black sword made from the True Dragon Velzard herself glowed in a cold blue color.

The sword was able to draw power from Velzard herself.

Which is why it's so powerful and why Sivert uses it more than his glaive but Sivert doesn't plan on using this swords full power or else the True Dragon will sense him..

And because he might do a little too much unnecessary damage.

"All of us.." The Witness answered and spread both its arms, raising them.

As they raised, hundreds of taken portals appeared behind the Witness.

Sivert's eyes widened in horror once many taken figures emerged from the portal.

"You bastard." He clenched his teeth in anger and glared at the Witness.

Aria was horrified from this sight.

Standing behind the Witness was an army of Taken Humans, those from the Last City.

From regular citizens to guardians and..

"Zavala, Ikora, Saint, Crow, everyone.." Sivert immediately recognized them, standing at the front of the large army of taken humans.

"Now, you will be torme-"

"Forgive me.." Sivert whispered and interrupted the Witness.

In the blink on an eye, the entire army of Taken Humans was wiped out with only a trail of Light being seen in their place.

They were freed..

The Witness was met with Sivert's up close glare.

He stared into his dark eyes..

"Beautiful." It whispered..

It quickly disappeared into a taken portal before Sivert could cut it down.

"Tch."

The Hunter looked around and spotted the Witness reappear in a different place.

In the blink of an eye, Sivert appeared right in front of the Witness.

He swung his sword down but it vanished once again.

He destroyed the ground that it stood on.

Sivert turned around and the Witness reappeared in the distance.

"I'm amazed you can counter my speed.." Sivert said with a small smile, not even Guy or Velzard could keep up with him without having trouble.

The Witness stayed silent, it quickly raised it's right arm and shot a series of taken energy formed in the shape of a balls at Sivert.

Hoping to corrupt him and his light.

The Hunter held out his left hand, answering his call, raging solar flames enveloped his hand and formed a golden gun.

He fired three shots through the incoming taken balls, destroying them.

Sivert was amazed.

The speed of those taken projectiles was no joke, if he had drawn his golden gun any slower they would've hit him.

Sivert fired another shot from his golden gun at the Witness whom simply nullified the shot with its left hand.

"Bastard..." Sivert cursed him, his Golden Gun dispersed along with the solar flames.

The Witness spread it's arms once again, a large number of taken portals appeared from behind it.

A large number of different humanoid figures that ranged in different species appeared from the portal.

They were all powerful in the use of Darkness.. some wielded glaives while others wielded different types of weapons.

These were the Disciples of the Witness..

"Really?" Sivert chuckled, a Taken Xivu Arath that snuck up on him was quickly cut in half by the Hunter.

The Witness knew it wouldn't work but still tried anyways to see his magnificence.

"Come, Sivert Light. Child of Light, Child of Darkness! Defeat our Disciples and us! Conqueror us! And Claim your throne as most powerful and sharpest blade to ever exist!"

The Witness shouted for the first time.

Today was the day it would fall..

It knew that there was no winning against such a force, it was never the one who fought but the one who had others fight for it. It was more of a manipulator. So it knew it was no match for Sivert.

However the Witness did not care.

All it wanted to see was the full strength of the Light's Trump Card.

To even think the Light could even create such a powerful warrior who can not only wield the full power of the light.

But also the Darkness.

These two powers were tools, except the Dark was a tool only the strongest could wield or else they'd fall to corruption.

However there's not a single bit of corruption on Sivert, and there'll never be..

He's too powerful..

If only The Witness could've convinced him to follow his ways, things could've turned out so differently.

He could become his strongest Disciple.. might even replace him.

"Come so we may reward you with more power. Enough power to make you truly immortal, unstoppable. Enough power that no one will be able to stand in your way." The Witness whispered.

If it was going to die, it would leave it's secrets, knowledge and abilities to the one who slew it. So they make take it's place.

Today is the day where the conflict of Light and Dark ends.

Where one will bring the two powers together under his control and stop the Death the two sides cause with their fighting.

Only one could pull of such an act.

A Hero..

Sivert smiled, he closed his eyes.

His Frostbite glowed.

"It'll be my pleasure."

Sivert opened his eyes and raised his blade.

It glowed brighter and brighter..

Soon the blade was enveloped with Arc Light and Stasis.

Light and Dark flowed through the sword.

Sivert dashed towards the army of Disciples they responded and charged towards him.

It was a massacre..

One by one they were cut down or either frozen by the stasis and obliterated by the arc light that enveloped the frozen victims.

Not a single disciple could keep up with Sivert's speed.

He was fast..

To fast!

Eventually Sivert utilized his Ultimate Skill Lord of Darkness.

He created shockwaves and unstoppable explosions that shredded through the Disciples and turned them into nothing but bloody mists..

Sivert cut down more Disciples and soon..

With it not even lasting a minute.

The battling stopped..

It became quiet..

Surrounded by the corpses and bloody messes was the hunter himself, his white cape blew with the harsh winds of the Ascendant Plane as he stood still.

Sivert glared at the Witness as it stared in fascination of the massacre he just caused.

"Truly beautiful.."

This sight was beautiful, he looked like a God..

No!

Greater..

Much Greater!

He was someone who slew God's..

A Powerful and Unstoppable Warrior of Light and Dark..

Sivert was truly magnificent and the Witness would not stop admiring him.

The Hunter moved in to try and strike the Witness down once more but was interrupted when the ground they stood on shook.

He looked down, "What the hell…" Sivert quickly jumped far away from where he stood.

As soon as he did.

A very large worm like creature sprung from the ground. It was huge! It could easily take out the Last City with just it's size alone!

Sivert recognized it's mouth.

Xol had a similar design..

There was no doubt about it.

This was a Worm God!

The ground shook once more and Sivert looked down.

"Your kidding me.." He whispered in disbelief. Two more Worm Gods sprung out from the ground.

"Yul The Honest Worm, Ur The Ever Hunger, Eir The Keeper of Order. Your foe lies before you." The Witness calmly stated.

Hearing their order, the three worm God's opened their mouths and fired a beam of green fire from their mouths that was capable of wiping out armies.

"Oh.." Sivert's worries vanished..

He finished analyzing the three worm gods. "I've really become stronger.." He whispered in amazement.

The Hunter casually nullified the combined attacks by the Worm Gods with a swipe of his left hand, shocking them and instilling fear within them.

He raised his blade and the Stasis enveloping it dispersed along with the Arc Light.

A White Fire flowed through Sivert's arms and onto the blade.

Light..

The Light was bright and powerful!

Sivert lowered his blade and launched himself at the Worm Gods. They prepared for his attack.

The Light enveloping Sivert's rapier grew brighter and brighter.

This was an attack used for eliminating Darkness users like these Worm Gods and killing them.

Sivert didn't really name it but Aria on the other hand gave it a name which he used.

It was called the Hero's Strike..

He swung his sword, sending a powerful and large wave of Light at the Worm God's.

They didn't expect this power!

The Light easily destroyed their hard and tough hide and scales along with the rest of their bodies

The wave of Light purified their Darkness and pulverized the three Worm Gods with ease.

The Light dispersed and there was nothing but ashes of the Worm Gods..

Sivert stood there, his face was serious.

His white cape blew with the wind as he stood there, glaring at the Witness.

"He looks so awesome..!" Aria whispered. Her guardian was the best!

The Witness was also gazing at Sivert..

It never thought it'd see the day where Light defeated Darkness..

Too caught up in it's gazing, the Witness was impaled by Frostbite from behind.

Rendering it immobilized.

"An Illusion.." it whispered in surprise as the Sivert it stared at slowly faded away.

"This is the end." It heard Sivert whisper from behind. He twisted the blade, adding more pain.

The Witness looked up, it felt pain for the first time in billions of years and it felt good..

"Yes.."

The end of conflict between Light and Dark..

"You are truly a beautiful and Sharp blade.. Sivert Light. You are the perfect existence we envisioned." The Witness said, it didn't even care that it was stabbed.

It was not worthy of existing.. This is what it's wanted..

For one to defeat it.

"The Fleet belongs to you.. do what you wish with it along with our knowledge and abilities. We are to weak.. You have conquered us. We are not worthy of the Final Shape."

Enveloped with Light, the Witness looked down at it's hands. The Darkness that enveloped it's body was purified..

"To think the light would create such a sharp blade.."

The Witness spoke it's last words before exploding, leaving trail of light in its mist and leaving it's final gift to Sivert.

Power... more power.

Sivert lowered his sword and closed his eyes..

"it's over." He whispered..

Sivert reopened his eyes and they took a new color, his two eyes became a dark golden color.

They represent the powerful mix of Light and Dark within him.

He felt Darkness run through him at levels never before. It was Witness's power. Sivert quickly took control of it and made it his own. He felt more powerful then ever..

He could take on a True Dragon with no problem now..

Aria was quietly cheering! She knew her guardian would win!

He's unstoppable!

Sivert turned around and walked towards the large Hive portal, he fixed a glance at the Fleet of Pyramid ships behind him…

"Hm." He had an idea for later, Sivert walked in the portal and it closed as he did.

Hero's Garden

Lyra sat there, legs crossed. Staring at the portal..

Her eyes widened in joy once she saw him!

Sivert walked out from the portal and it closed.

"Took you long what hap-"

Sim and Vince halted their greetings. Their joy vanished and they raised their fists while the others aimed their guns at the Hunter.

"Who are you?" Lyra asked in anger.

This wasn't Sivert..

The Darkness surrounding him proved it!

It was poisonous, even causing their ghost to feel ill. It could kill them if they got any closer.

And his Golden eyes.. he's never had such eyes.

"Oh sorry.."

Sivert forgot about the Darkness leaking from him. He quickly got rid of it and replaced it with a normal bright and pure feeling.

Lyra and the others eyed him with suspicion.

"I did it! I killed the Witness!" Sivert cheerfully shouted, the area became silent..

Lyra continued to eye him with suspicion. She stared into his eyes..

Despite their new color..

They were the same.

"Heh.. you just made your promise an hour ago and already fulfilled it." Lyra lowered her small sidearm Aurora gave her and chuckled.

"Wait.. is it really him?" The others asked her.

"Of course, I don't know what's up with the powerful Darkness that surrounded him earlier but I do know that this is Guardi- I mean Sivert." She had to get used to his new name…

It was a good name though.

"I mean, he probably took The Witness's powers or something. It's Sivert for crying out loud! The one who slew Crota, Oryx, Savathun, Xivu Arath and now the Witness! He's unstoppable!" Lyra shouted.

The others lowered their weapons.

"Sorry.." Sim and Vince apologized. "No, it's fine." Sivert tried to get them to stop but the others also apologized non stop.

"So? What happened?" Lyra ran up to him and asked. Sivert was about to answer until the others ran up and asked.

Their eyes were full of curiosity..

"Uh.. Mind if I explain later? I want to do something." Sivert asked, they all pouted and agreed.

The Hunter snapped his fingers and they all vanished.

They reappeared on the cliff from earlier much to their shock.

"Hey.. is it me or.. did this place get larger?" Sim couldn't help but ask while looking around.

The others also looked around.

"I guess that supports Sivert's claim of this being his throne world and defeating the Witness." Aurora crossed her arms and told them.

"When one who owns a throne world kills powerful entities. Their throne world grows larger." She kindly explained to the others, they finally understood.

"So, did you get any new powers?" Lyra walked up to Sivert and asked. He smiled and turned around.

The Hunter cracked his knuckles.

"Let's find out." He looked at his new throne world well not new.

Just really large throne world, it grew tremendously just like Aurora said.

Sivert held out his right hand towards the edge of the sea and the border of his throne world.

A large triangle shaped taken portal formed..

Aria materialized next to her guardian, "What are you doing?" she asked In curiosity as the others watched.

"Bringing a Pyramid here.." Her guardian casually answered.

The area became silent once again.

"My god.. no one even say anything. There's no point. He's going to surprise us more."

Lyra raised her hand, halting the other's words that were about to escape their mouths.

They stayed silent..

A singular large Pyramid ship slowly came out of the portal.

"How did the Witness control all of these at once.." Sivert whispered in amazement.

This was hard!

Sivert had the Pyramid station above his ocean and sit there. The Taken portal behind it closed.

"Well.. I'm glad we got revenge.. though I wish we could've saved the Last city before they were taken.." Aria whispered so the others couldn't hear. Her guardian was so powerful.

But while he may be powerful and wield a dangerous power that could corrupt it's wielder, he was still a kind and nice individual..

And..

So Adorable.

Sivert noticed Aria staring at him, "Hm?" he turned to face his ghost.

"Sivert! I love you so much!"

Aria flew into his chest and knocked the Hunter down into the ground.

"You're so gentle and adorable and so nice! Please promise me you'll never change!" Aria shouted.

Sivert smiled softly at her.

"I promise." He was glad he had Aria as a ghost. She was the best Ghost ever!

"She didn't change either…" Lyra whispered with a small smile on her face. She remembered watching Aria praise her guardian nonstop back then and even show off to other ghosts how much better he is.

There wasn't a day that Aria didn't talk about Sivert and his accomplishments.

Sivert laid there for a few minutes gently petting her shell before sitting up.

"We have a lot of work to do."

He placed his hands on his hips and told her.

"Yup!" Aria couldn't wait to see what her guardian would do next.

She was like a fan girl…

Every move he made would make her excited.

Sivert turned around and looked at his new allies.

"So. Anyone want to go back to earth?" he casually asked.

Lyra's eyes widened, now they were all allowed to be surprised.

Sivert didn't know how it worked but the Witness was able to cross dimensional space by using it's black fleet and by using the Ascendant plane as a bridge.

To think such technology existed..

Sivert was going to try the same thing though and hopefully it'd work.

Two Days Later..

Earth, The Last City

The singular black Pyramid floated over the destroyed city..

The wind was all that could be heard as it was quiet..

They stood on the remains the of Tower courtyard.

Sivert and the others looked at the destroyed city in the distance..

The sight brought so much nostalgia..

It was quiet though, he missed the sounds of guardians chatting or Lord Shaxx cheering guardians in the crucible through a monitor.

Now it felt like a ghost town..

His ghost, Aria was floating next to him.

Also looking at the destroyed city..

"Can… can we leave?" she asked her guardian. Aria missed this place but.. she hated seeing it like this.

It hurt so much..

"Yeah.. hold on I just want to check something." Sivert told her, he didn't like being here either.

"I'll meet you guys here in a few minutes. Go ahead and.. do what you want." Sivert told the others.

They only nodded..

Still silent from this sight.

It pained their hearts..

They couldn't do anything anymore. The Last City was destroyed, they all felt like they failed in being it's guardians.

Sivert turned around and walked away from the others.

He walked around a little longer before walking down some stairs..

"Please.." he whispered in desperation..

Sivert walked through some hallways and soon came face to face with a large door..

"Yes!" he shouted in joy.

He quickly ran to the large, sealed door, though it normally required a code to open.

There was no power..

So Sivert grabbed the large door handle and ripped the door open with his monstrous strength.

His eyes teared up in joy after looking inside..

"YES! WOOOH!" Sivert ran inside the vault.

It was clean! Like nothing ever touched it!

It was his vault!

And everything was still here!

"Oh! How I missed you guys!" Sivert grabbed a few rare guns and hugged them tightly.

"Fatebringer you sexy beast your still here.." Sivert gave the Handcannon a big kiss.

He was so glad!

"Oh I can't wait to bring you guys back home with me." Sivert had the perfect place for them!

"Gjallarhorn.. you beauty!" Sivert hugged the beautiful rocket launcher tightly.

"Oh I don't know why I'm happy to see you Thorn but you're the original one so you're so rare! I missed you so much you damn killer!" Sivert picked up the dangerous Handcannon and gave it a big kiss.

"Look. All your armor is still here to." Aria who was exploring the vault pointed out.

"This is great! You should build an armory in your throne world." Aria told her guardian.

Sivert nodded, "I think I will."

The Hunter was so glad all his weapons were still here.

He worked very hard for each and every one of them.

Not only that, they would serve as a reminder to who he was and let others know who he truly is.

A Guardian!

After collecting the weapons and storing them aboard his Pyramid ship Sivert also found a few of his sparrows inside the vault while unloading.

Once he collected those as well he met back up with the others and as soon as they spotted him they asked to leave.

For the sight actually hurt them too much.

He understood but still encouraged them to look for their vaults if they could and bring any belongings they missed.

They did and Sivert assisted them in looking for their vaults.

Sadly the only one who had no chance of finding their vault was Kaguya. It was definitely cleaned out..

Sivert was currently walking around with Lyra.

"It's probably destroyed.." The Warlock pouted! She missed her juicy weapons and armor to..

Sivert stayed silent, lifting rubble and looking around.

Lyra crouched down and peeked through a crack..

"I found it!" she shouted, Sivert ran towards her and helped her get rid of the rubble concealing the vault.

"Oh.. but the code!" She pouted once again. There was no power.

However...

"Woah!" Lyra ducked, avoiding the large door that Sivert ripped off.

She was about to scold him but stopped after seeing her the inside of her vault..

It wasn't touched! Even after her death.

But it made no sense! It should've been emptied especially when she's been dead for a year after the fight against Rhulk.

"I um.. convinced Zavala to let your vault remain here." Sivert said, noticing her reaction.

Lyra slowly turned to face her best friend.

Tears began to spill from her eyes..

"You bastard.. making a girl cry." She punched Sivert in the stomach while hiding her blushing face and tears.

"Heh.." The Hunter smiled.

He led her inside the vault and they began to unload it.

"Hey.. remember this?" Sivert picked up a white warlock helmet and showed Lyra.

"Hood of Exile.." she reached out and took the helmet.

Lyra stared into the visor..

"The rest of the armor is still here to.. man I remember how cool you looked in this."

Sivert murmured, he picked up the robes and remaining parts of the armor and placed it in the large black floating crate behind him.

It was from the Pyramid and proved useful in unloading the vault.

"Yeah.." Lyra smiled and placed the helmet in the crate.

They finished unloading the vault and Sivert marked the storage box by coloring it with Lyra's name on it.

Once they sent it off to the Pyramid ship Sivert and Lyra found the others.

It was crazy luck but they managed to find their vaults as well along with them being untouched. They opened the doors by breaking them down much to Sivert's surprise.

He helped them unload as well and once they finished.

Sivert built a monument made out of light for the Humans of the Last City in the middle of the city.

The second Sivert finished building the monument he apologized with the others..

Over and over..

For not being here to protect them..

To help them..

Of course they didn't expect forgiveness but still.

They apologized..

Once they were done they returned to Sivert's Pyramid Ship and to the Ascendant Plane where he used it to cross dimensions using his new unimaginable power.

So that him and the others can return to their new home..

Tenma.

End!

This is the end of Sivert's story.

Of course it's not the end of the whole Fanfiction, it's just time to begin a certain slimes story.

The reason I set it up like this is pretty simple.

To give you guys a rundown on Sivert and his story here and how he got so powerful.

Before I started the story I was in a serious civil war with myself on deciding whether to just Start the story with a Man from another world (Destiny) and he was super strong and fell under Rimuru's service through some events.

But then I was like.. nah.

So I created this!

These 18 chapters were all about Sivert Light, Prized Student of Shizue Izawa and Lightbearer.

I don't know how long I plan on making this story to be honest because I have a lot planned for the future of this story.

Anyways that's all I have to say.

The Next Chapter is just going to be a timeskip along with many new friends.

And perhaps a meeting between a Hunter and a slime.

See ya next chapter!
