This is important so read this!
With the help of a good friend who's a massive Tensura nerd I made some changes to the story such as fixing up and rewriting Sivert's skills and abilities.
It won't change the story though, this is just fixing several mistakes she found within his skills and just the story itself.
She also suggested a lot of things to which I'm very grateful for.
One thing I changed was replacing the Cryptid Sivert found with two young Direwolves.
Since she believed a cryptid was just unnecessary boost in his power, also because it goes better with Sivert's title as the 'Young Wolf.'
Shiva and Fenrir are the two Direwolves names.
Another thing I changed is Sivert's race.
He's no Longer Human but more of a Majin in a way. This is due to him being exposed to the extreme dense and powerful magicules within the Underworld.
There's no physicals appearance changes. This also allows Sivert to become stronger then he could've been when he was still a human.
Those were two changes, I won't list all the changes since it'd take up the entire chapter but most of them are just on the past chapters.
The story is the same I just fixed it up for new readers.
There's still some mistakes but I'm working on those.
There will be an update on Sivert's ultimate skills at the end of the chapter and a list of his current abilities.
Now for the custom guardians.
Enjoy!
Chapter 20, Lightbearer's and Monsters
Jura Forest, Tempest
The stares..
They hurt, but he kept walking.
He could feel their fear..
It broke his heart.
His new friend and boss noticed this and stopped walking.
"Don't worry about it. They'll get used to you in time." Rimuru said to comfort him.
The Hunter had no response, he only stayed silent, watching the reconstruction of the center of the town where he caused most of the damage.
"Hm.." Rimuru needed to think of something that'll cheer him up or just change the subject at least.
"Say, what's it like dying a lot?"
An awkward silence was born from those words.
Sivert stared at the slime with a slightly uncomfortable expression.
'Ah.. I did it again.' Rimuru mentally cursed himself.
This is what he gets for talking too much.
"It hurts, Sir." Sivert replied in a quiet tone as he stood tall.
Rimuru snapped his fingers and pointed at Sivert.
"Stop it. Stop all of that."
Sivert raised a brow, giving a confused look. Did he do something wrong?
"Don't call me Sir or Lord. Just call me Rimuru. There's no difference in how we speak to each other. I want to be friends, not master and subordinate." Rimuru explained as he forcibly fixed the Hunter's posture.
He was acting like a soldier and Rimuru hated that.
"I only did this because you wanted to be punished for what you did."
Sivert was silent.
He did..
And he intended to serve his 100 years.
"Now. You've been in that cell for some time. I bet you stink." Rimuru turned around and marched down the street.
Sivert quickly followed him.
A Few Minutes Later
He slowly sunk in the warm water.
It felt good..
Really good.
Sivert loved this hot spring.
There was no denying it, he loved this Nation already.
Rimuru was in here with him, floating on the water in his slime form. Secretly admiring Sivert's perfect and well-built body.
He was jealous..
Rimuru let out a small sigh. "So Sivert is there anything you want to do other than protect Tempest?" He asked.
After all Rimuru didn't want Sivert standing guard all day every day at the borders.
"Um.. I'm not sure.. all I ever do is protect and fight." The Hunter answered.
Rimuru couldn't help but feel sorry for him. Even after seeing those memories he still couldn't even imagine how much it hurt.
So much running, fighting and dying.
It was a process Sivert kept going through for years.
Rimuru looked down at the water, thinking..
He wanted to help Sivert, to hopefully turn him away from that path.
To stop that process..
He had an idea but first he needed to ask a few more.. personal questions.
Like who Sivert was before he was resurrected..
Another few minutes later
Sivert's eyes widened in amazement at the sight before him. So much food on this one big table.
It looked so good..
All of it.
Oh how he missed being human..
The feeling of hunger and then satisfying that hunger after.
It was amazing!
At least he can still eat though!
Some of the dishes here also looked similar.
Sivert gently sat down on the floor and waited for the others to leave. It was just Rimuru and Sivert in the room.
"Rimuru your Japanese right?" The Hunter asked, these dishes looked really familiar.
"I am. Just like Shizu-san" Rimuru replied before he started eating.
Well there was no denying that, at least to Sivert.
Some of these dishes looked similar to what Shizue made when she could.
They tasted amazing..
Sivert couldn't wait to stuff his mouth!
He reached out for the fork.
"Wait."
His hand stopped at Rimuru's orders.
"I have a question Sivert. I'd like you to answer it before you eat."
Rimuru gave him a serious expression.
Sivert pulled his hand back, awaiting the question.
"What did you do in your past life? Before you became a Guardian."
And of course Sivert didn't expect that..
"Guardians have no memories of their past lives.." He said as he played his hands.
"Hm. Have you ever tried to learn who you were? You are powerful so maybe you could find those memories."
Sivert was silent.
He was avoiding Rimuru's gaze.
"You don't want to?" Rimuru guessed.
"No.. I would love to know who I was before I became a Guardian but memories come with heavy risks. Depending on who I was.. I could change in a good way or.."
He didn't finish.
"A bad way.." Rimuru quietly finished for him and gently rubbed his chin with two fingers as he delved deep into his thoughts.
"I don't want to harm people just because I was curious on who I was.." Sivert told him.
It was a big fear of his.
Taking in those memories and then becoming someone new..
With evil intentions.
"You have a strong mind though don't you? I'm not encouraging you but the chances of you changing are really low."
Sivert became silent once again. Rimuru was right, his mind was powerful. Especially when he inherited the Witness's abilities.
His mind became far larger and stronger..
Mental damage is basically a joke to Sivert.
Still it doesn't mean he can't change.
The Hunter took a deep breath, "I'll think about it."
Rimuru gave him a light nod.
"Now. You may eat."
A smile formed on Sivert's lips, he rubbed both his hands together. Ready to try out this food.
As he ate, Rimuru asked a few more questions.
Like 'What do you do when your not fighting?' or 'Does he like animals.'
Rimuru is trying his best to find something for Sivert, a new hobby.
There wasn't much luck except from one answer from one of his questions.
The question being. 'Do you like making things? Or inventing? Or trying new things?' to which Sivert replied with…
"Yeah, I do. It brings me joy when I discover something new because it reminds me that the universe is so big, even if I'm not from here.. There are so many wonders and dangers.. it's beautiful and I hope one day I can experience it all."
Rimuru couldn't help but chuckle a little.
From that answer he forged an idea with the help of his unique skill.
"Well how about making something new? Like.. a new drink, food or maybe even a device of some sort. Invent something that could bring joy to people."
Rimuru asked while he mentally praised himself.
Especially when he prevented himself from suggesting to create a new 'weapon.'
No..
Rimuru wants to keep Sivert away from that subject as best as he can.
Sivert on the other hand had one idea.
"I did want to try and brew my own wine but I never found the right fruits for such a beverage."
Rimuru snapped his fingers. "Great! A new type of wine. Recently we became close with the Beast Kingdom of Eurazania you can see if there are fruits there to your liking or that you think will make a good drink."
Sivert raised a brow, "Really?"
Rimuru crossed his arms, smiled brightly and nodded.
"Yup! I'm confident that you can create something good, let me know what you need and I'll invest as much as I can for you create a new type of wine."
Sivert shrugged, "Alright.. I'll see what I can do."
It's a first step but Rimuru is also confident he can help Sivert master other things except fighting and killing.
With that over the two finished their food and Sivert must admit, it all tasted amazing..
So many types of different dishes and Sivert ate most of them.
It was the best!
He has to show this to the others!
"!"
That thought sparked realization within him..
How would the others react to him serving Rimuru?
"Uh oh…" The Hunter whispered.
He fixed a glance at Rimuru who was taking a sip of his drink.
"Hey uh. I don't believe I told you yet but.. there's more guardians."
Those words forced Rimuru to spit out his drink.
"Huh?"
Sivert nervously chuckled.
"Yeah.. there's a few more of us. Around twenty.."
Rimuru had no idea how to comprehend this.
'More immortal warriors?!' he thought.
At least the numbers were low and for that, he let out a sigh of relief.
He just hopes he doesn't get on their bad side.
Then a thought came from the depths of his mind..
It scared him.
"Sivert.. your not their leader right?" he nervously asked.
"That's what I was about to tell you. I'm their leader."
'Of course.' Rimuru thought.
This was bad!
Really bad!
"Don't worry. I know what your thinking. I'll make sure nothing happens to this nation or you. But I need to tell them.."
Rimuru let out another sigh of relief..
"I agree.. do you think you could invite them here? To show that I do not intend to use you for tyrannical purposes and only to keep my people safe."
Sivert gave him a light nod. "I can."
The Hunter really hopes nothing bad will happen.
He doesn't want to but if it came to it he'll kill them.
"Great. Well it's late. I prepared a room for you until your house is finished. It's next store."
Sivert raised a brow, "Pardon?"
Rimuru stood up from the floor. "A house in a nice secluded area of the forest. Not to far from Tempest, it's being built just for you. I'm also going to add a hot spring just for you."
The Hunter immediately showed a shocked expression. How could he not?
The Nation he attacked is building him a home..
He can get away from the Temple!
He loves it there but he can never get some peace and quiet..
"Thank you so much! I swear in the name of the Light I will protect you and your nation for eternity!" Sivert shouted as he prostrated before Rimuru.
"Heh.. please don't do that.."
Rimuru forced him to stop prostrating.
Seeing one of Shizue-san's student's prostrating before him made him really uncomfortable, and feel really horrible.
"Alright I'll see you in the morning Sivert. Goodnight."
Rimuru gave him a small wave before walking out of the room. Once he did a few goblins came in to clean up the table.
Sivert walked out once they did and towards his room in the next building..
He couldn't wait to show the others the amazing things of Tempest.
Several Hours Later
The Warlock Aurora was nervous, not just her, her entire fireteam was.
Why?
Well when their leader Sivert suddenly woke everyone in the Temple up early in the morning and forced them to put on regular clothing and!
Lead them into the Jura Forest with no weapons..
They couldn't help but be nervous!
They had their light but having a weapon in their hands made them feel more safer.
"Sivert.. uh where are we going?" she finally built up the courage to ask..
She wasn't one to question orders, especially from Sivert.
She was devoted to him..
Just.. When you're walking into the most dangerous forest in the world it really has her raise suspicion.
Was he going to kill them all and bury their bodies here?
Or was he going to feed them to monsters so he could be the only guardian left in existence?
So many theories.. so many questions. She made sure to push the crazy ones out of her mind for she was loyal to him.
Sivert turned around. "Tempest. A Nation of Monsters." He casually answered.
Aurora and rest of the Guardians stopped in their tracks..
"I'm sorry did you just say a Nation of monsters?" A Striker Titan who goes by the name Lion asked.
"Yup! I know it sounds crazy but trust me! You guys will love it!" The Hunter encouraged.
Most of the Guardians trusted him but.. a few were cautious..
"Oh if you harm anyone here I'll kill your ghost and rip you apart."
Those words caught everyone off guard..
He's never spoken like that.
Sivert turned back around and continued walking down the path. The Guardians slowly followed their leader..
Now as they got closer to this.. 'monster nation.'
Most of them were preparing for a fight.
But once they got a good view of the Nation all of that stopped.
"Oh my god.." Lyra whispered in amazement.
A Town full of all sorts of monsters!
The streets were filled with them, they all had bright smiles and emitted bright and strong aura's..
She's done her research and she immediately knew all these monsters were named due to their magicule levels.
"Welcome to Tempest! Go and have fun! You all deserve a vacation like this!" Sivert shouted.
They were all silent..
Sivert sighed. "Don't worry they won't hurt you. Now you all better go. Guardians get to try out all of the food for free for this one day."
He pointed at the entrance before them.
"Oh! And they all speak Japanese! Hope none of you forgot how to speak it." He told them.
Or else spending three months to teach them the language was a big waste of time..
"Free food? Well don't mind if I do." Lion jogged past Sivert and towards the streets of Tempest.
His fireteam soon followed him.
Eventually more of the Guardians started running past Sivert and towards the streets of Tempest.
Except Aurora's Fireteam, it's not that they didn't want to. It's because Sivert stopped them.
"I need to tell you guys something and introduce you to someone." He told the six Guardians.
Aurora was glad he said that because she really needed to speak to him.
They just discovered the Scorn's presence in this world not that long ago yet Sivert hasn't spoken about it..
This is not what she expected..
A Nation of monsters was one thing but Sivert entering the service of this..
Of this little slime?
Aurora had no words. Neither did her Fireteam..
Well except Sim and Ivory who burst into laughter at the sight of the slime.
Aurora was just glad he had a good enough reason. He attacked them, their leader..
Blinded by anger, now he's serving his punishment.
"Jeez if your still alive then that means Sivert held back." Lyra pointed out to everyone as she walked closer to Sivert.
Rimuru mentally agreed with her..
He noticed during their fight that Sivert was holding back by a lot.
"How come?" Lyra asked the Hunter.
"I uh.. wanted to make him feel a lot of pain by killing him slowly."
The Warlock never thought she'd hear that from Sivert..
To her he was a big teddy bear. Hell he even acts like one. She did sleep in the same bed with him not that long ago since she wanted to know what cuddling felt like.
He so was harmless!
She crossed her arms and shook her head.
"Well.. knowing you there's no changing your mind."
Lyra turned back around to face the others.
"Wait you were being serious when you said you were serving him?" Sim asked while pointing at Rimuru..
"Yeah you thought I was joking?"
Sim's cheeks puffed as he tried his best to hold in another laugh.
"AHAHAHA!" He couldn't hold it in, neither could Ivory.
The two laughed away as Rimuru stared at them silently..
He didn't mind because he would've laughed if he was in their shoes.
He's just glad none of his subordinates are in here. Or else a fight might break out..
"You two. Your being disrespectful."
A women with short black hair and gradient red eyes wearing black warlock robes grabbed the two guardians by the collar of their shirts.
This was Kaguya..
She matured.
Well she was already matured mentally just not her body.
Kaguya looked more like a young women unlike before when she was just a teenager.
She was mostly quiet but very perceptive and analytical.
She knew how powerful Rimuru was just from looking at him.
Kaguya was also the only other Darkness user in the Temple and the second strongest.
Still an enlightened but her power is equal to a newborn Saint.
"Apologize now." She dropped the two and they quickly headed her orders.
"Were sorry your Majesty." The two said in unison.
"No! No! It's fine.. and please just call me Rimuru." He quickly assured them.
The two Guardians stood up and bowed as a way to thank him for his mercy.
"Thank for giving mercy here to Sivert. As long as you treat him well and with respect. I have no problem with this whatsoever." Kaguya told the slime.
The others nodded in agreement with her.
"I will and besides. I'm not taking him away from you. He can still work with you guys. All I want him to do is protect my Nation and my people, and try new things.."
Hearing that brought relief to the fireteam..
Without Sivert to lead, the Guardians in the Temple would split and go their separate ways.
Their all loyal to him..
"Alright. Thanks again. Were going to go and check out your Nation." The Hunter Astraea turned around and walked out of the office with the others following behind except Aurora and Lyra.
"We need to talk.." the two warlocks whispered to Sivert in unison.
"Uh.. right. Rimuru I'll be back."
The friendly slime morphed to his human form. "Yup."
He gave him a small wave.
Sivert walked out of the office with Lyra and Aurora in tow.
"So what's up?" he asked the two as they walked down the hallway together.
"The Scorn problem." Aurora spoke first.
"And my growth rate." Lyra spoke after.
They both had different reasons.
"Right.."
Sivert forgot about the scorn.
"Alright let's go."
He grabbed the two by their arms and the three were engulfed in blue sparks of lighting before vanishing.
Suddenly they arrived within the Temple, in Sivert's office.
"I hate that.." Aurora whispered.
When Sivert uses spatial transportation on her, it makes her nauseous.
"So did you find them?" Sivert asked Aurora as he sat down on a chair.
Lyra sat down on the chair next to him, holding her right arm out.
"No. We were going to leave today until you surprised us with this information." The Warlock gently sat down on Sivert's desk.
The Hunter pulled out a knife and cut a small wound on Lyra's wrist.
"Oh. Well I'm sorry but I never expected that any of this would happen.."
Sivert healed Lyra's wound and took a closer look on the blood that was dripping from his knife.
He increased his sight.
Looking beyond human sight and towards a cellular level.
There it was again..
Sivert spotted small traces of Light within the blood cells, red blood cells, white blood cells.
Hell all of the cells within the body!
All enveloped in Light.
He also noticed it on her skin and there was probably more deeper such as in the bones.
It's like her whole body was made out of Light..
"So? When do you want us to leave for the peak to find that Scorn cave?"
Sivert stayed silent for a moment as he returned his vision to normal and cleaned his knife.
"You won't. I'll go and try.. I want you guys to relax and have fun for a while." He replied.
Aurora never thought she'd hear that word from her leader 'Relax and have fun.' Then again, Sivert was different from Commander Zavala.
In fact, everything was different.
No city to defend, no humanity to defend.
No hostile alien forces to fight.
Hell humanity in this world was doing way better, just not technology wise.
Still she couldn't just let him go alone.
"At least take someone with you. How about Vince? He's been complaining about how bored he is."
Sivert shrugged, "If he doesn't mind coming with then sure."
Aurora gave him a small nod. "I'll ask him then.."
Now that their conversation was over.
"So?" Lyra wanted answers..
"I'm not sure Lyra but there is Light everywhere within you. It's like your whole body is made out of it. That could explain your growth rate."
Her growth rate..
Lyra's body has been maturing fast..
And it got faster ever since she reunited with Sivert.
"Kaguya had the same issue but when I checked her a few days ago it was all gone. Her body returned to normal. The same thing might happen to you."
Kaguya's growth rate stopped once her body matured.
"So your saying I'm not going to become an old women in 4 years?"
Sivert shrugged once again. "Maybe, maybe not. We'll wait to see what happens in the next few months. Now, there's no pain right?"
Cause then if there was, Sivert would remove the Light within her body by force using Darkness if he had to..
"No.. I feel normal. I don't mind growing faster, beats being a child. But I don't want to look like an old women when I'm 14 year's old!" she shouted.
The room became silent..
Lyra let out a low sigh.
"Sorry.."
Sivert shook his head. "Don't worry about it. I'll do what I can to prevent that.."
Hearing that brought a little relief to the Warlock.
"Mind sending me back? I'm hungry."
Aurora asked the Hunter, he nodded and Aurora was warped away, back towards Tempest.
Sivert stood up from his seat and looked down at Lyra. She had a pouty expression.
"Don't worry. I'm confident you'll stop maturing at such a fast rate when within a few months. And I'm very confident you'll turn out beautiful." He rubbed his right hand over her head, petting her.
Lyra looked up at him.
"Thanks.." she whispered.
Sivert gave her a thumbs up. "Let's go back to Tempest.'
Lyra shook her head. "Hold on.. your getting your own house right?"
Sivert gulped, he cursed whoever told her.
"Yeah.."
Lyra crossed her arms.
"Let me live with you."
"No way."
The Warlock raised a brow. "Why not?"
"Because you already have a nice room here."
Sivert said which earned him another sigh from Lyra.
"I know but I.. I don't feel comfortable here. It sounds stupid and makes me look like a child but I want to live with you because you make me feel comfortable. You're the only person here I know... the only one I trust."
Those last words surprised the Hunter.
"You don't trust the others?"
The Warlock shook her head. "Not as much as I trust you."
Well that made sense..
He knew her since he was a new light.
She was resurrected not to long before him and became a good friends with Sivert.
The Hunter sighed this time..
"Ah screw it. Fine.. you can live with me.."
Lyra pulled him in for a big hug once she heard those words.
"Were roomies now!"
Sivert rolled his eyes..
"I miss the old you. Your not as serious as before."
Before Lyra was a serious women, kind of like Ikora in a way.
However she was quite possessive with Sivert, showing him off to other guardians and saying he and her make the best team and their unstoppable.
Yeah those words birthed multiple private crucible matches.
To which they all won.
"I am serious. I'm just glad were still sticking together. Just wait until I fit into my armor again. We'll wear matching colors and look cool!"
Sivert swore she sounded like Aria..
"Alright. Well I'll let you know when the house is done. Go back to Tempest."
He sent her away with spatial magic before she could say any more.
Sivert plopped back down on his chair.
"Times are changing."
He didn't want to admit but.
He was scared..
Not for him or Aria.
But the Guardians.
They don't know the true horrors of this world.
Sivert will do his best to protect them but he can only do so much..
Hours Later
The Hunter gently opened the wooden door and entered. He closed it behind him once it did.
He spotted three Titans knocked out on their chairs in a corner.
The only person awake was an old friend.
"They drank too much." He heard her voice along with a slight giggle.
The dryad Treyni appeared on the opposite side of the counter.
Cleaning a glass cup.
"Nice to see you again Treyni." Sivert immediately recognized her.
He walked over and sat down on a wooden stool.
"Indeed it has. You've changed a lot since we last met Sir Light. Your hair grew longer and your face matured some more. I must say you lost some of your charm though." Treyni said with another light giggle.
Sivert placed both his arms on the counter.
"Yeah.." He whispered.
"But that's not all that's changed."
The Hunter was silent, she already knew.
Treyni let out a small sigh, "Your no longer human. Much has happened to you hasn't it?"
Sivert only responded with a light nod.
"Your body has been tainted with powerful magicules. That you couldn't even handle. I won't ask how this happened though for it is not my business."
Treyni poured some wine in a small glass and placed it in front of Sivert.
He stared at the glass.
He saw a reflection of himself.
There was no difference but..
Sivert was no longer human.
He was a Majin..
It was all his fault..
That damn Demon Lord.
Sivert would kill him next time he saw him..
Not only did he kill Aria with that trap.
He made Sivert into a monster.
But luck was on his side.
He was able to become more stronger thanks to this transformation.
And the Hunter continues to get stronger as he continues to hone his abilities.
"You're not as bright as before but the Spirit Queens love is still strong for you." The Dryad mentioned.
Sivert couldn't help but smile a little, the little Demon Lord appeared in his thoughts once he heard that.
Her tricks and proud personality.
"Little brat.." he whispered as he drank a little of his wine.
God he missed her presence, she brightened the mood wherever she went.
"Pardon me but who may you be referring to?" Treyni overheard and asked.
"A friend.."
Sivert took another sip of his wine.
"I see."
The bar was empty and quiet.
Sivert liked it this way..
He's glad Rimuru mentioned this place to him.
"Did those two Greater Spirits leave you Sir Light?"
The Hunter shook his head.
Treyni smiled and clapped her hands.
"Wonderful! It shows how much they love you. No matter what you are."
A tint of red appeared on Sivert's cheeks.
He took another sip of his wine.
Treyni reached out and pushed back a little bit of his shirt sleeve on his right arm.
It revealed a black bracelet on Sivert's wrist.
"You have not used her gift for some time? How come?"
She referred to his Holy Spirit Armor he acquired once he became a True Hero.
That's what the black bracelet was.
"There hasn't been a situation where I needed it."
Treyni could not help but giggle a little.
"You've grown so much." Treyni whispered before getting back to work.
"Feel free to stay as long as you like."
Sivert would..
This place is what he needs to relax.
And talk with Treyni.
She's a good listener after all.
"Hey.. if you're here. How come you didn't intervene and stop me from harming Rimuru?"
It was a question he wanted to ask once he found out she was here.
"Your presence.. filled with Dark Luster. It was poisonous and harmful to me and my sisters and you poisoned part of the forest so we had to fix that."
Sivert scratched the back of his head. "Sorry about that.."
Treyni shook her head. "Do not worry about it. No one was harmed. I'm glad that you settled things with Great Rimuru. Now I have many questions about your foreign abilities."
The Hunter couldn't help but gulp, she wasn't the only one who asked about the Light and Dark..
Sivert will answer what he can but won't say much.
The Titan Vince walked silently through the night streets, both his hands were in his pockets.
He wore just a simple white shirt and black pants with boots.
His fireteam were out drinking and celebrating this sudden 'vacation.'
As much as he loves the wine and food here he wanted to explore more of this strange but beautiful nation.
"Hm?"
He heard a loud noise.
Like the sound of a hammer striking something.
Vince followed the sound, as he did it got louder and louder.
He came upon a medium sized shed and entered.
Inside was a lone dwarf forging a sword.
Vince's eyes watched with intense curiosity in them as he watched the sword be shaped.
"Interested?" the Dwarf asked him but did not turn around.
"Yes.."
The Dwarf chuckled. "There's a chair in the corner, feel free to watch for as long as you want."
Vince would do just that..
He watched the Dwarf form a rare grade sword using magisteel.
He wondered if..
If he could perhaps do that as well.
Forge weapons and armor.
Suddenly Vince felt his Light pulse..
He looked down at his hands as small solar flames burned on them..
His eyes widened in amazement.
Then he heard the voice..
And he felt a new power awaken within his soul.
Vince would use this new power to help his friends..
Jura Forest, Hours Later
The cold wind blew against his face.
He made no movement.
Just staring at his right hand.
There..
The green energy was back.
Faint.
But he could still see it.
He increased his focus.
As he did his eyes turned emerald Green.
(I know a third eye is supposed to appear but I thought it'd be cooler if the eye color just changed.)
Sivert looked up and around..
Threads.
Everywhere.
Like a massive web..
"Can you see them Aria?"
His ghost floated silently next to him.
"See what?"
He was right.
Only he could see them.
Sivert tugged on a string, manifesting it.
The same rope dart he used before appeared on his hands.
He swung it and cut several trees in half.
It was powerful.
But he knew this was only a fraction of power this new ability had.
It'd take time but he'll be able to master it.
"Write notes!" Aria shouted which broke his focus.
The energy disappeared and Sivert pouted.
"Yeah I know.." he sat down on the log behind him and picked up his small notebook.
He'd study this new energy.
It's definitely Darkness, a type of psychic energy.
Once again Sivert was filled with joy as he discovered something new.
End!
Here's the update on his skills.
