"Captain's log Supplemental, It's been over an hour since the shuttle disappeared from Sensors, End Log," I said.
As I got to the Bridge.
"I'm not detecting any debris," B'Elanna said.
"Maybe the shuttle was tractored or transported somewhere," Chakotay said.
"Scan the region, Look for plasma emission or EM displacements," I said. "Anything that might indicate another ship,"
"Nothing out of the ordinary, Hydrogen, helium, Space dust," Harry said.
"There has to be something out there," I said. "Shuttles just don't vanish into thin air,"
As we got hit.
"It's a Gravimetric shear," B'Elanna said.
"Source," I said.
"Unknown," Harry said.
"Red Alert," I said As the Klaxons went red. "Helm full ahead," I said.
"We're caught in some kind of subspace sinkhole," Harry said. "It's pulling us in,"
"The Gravimetric shear's increasing," Chakotay said.
"Go to warp," I said.
"I can't establish a stable field," B'Elanna said.
"Then Transfer ever we got to Impulse Engines," I said.
"That won't be enough, We've got to find a way to counter the Gravitational pull," B'Elanna said.
"B'Elanna Went 3 million isodynes of Plasma from the Nacelles, Chakotay Reverse shield Polarity," I said.
"What the," Kat said. "Gravimetric shear,"
"Yeah, And it's pulling us," I said.
"We're Clear," Harry said.
"Move us away, Stand down Red Alert, Secure all stations," I said. As Klaxon went normal. "I'd say we have a pretty good idea now what happened to that shuttle,"
As we got to Astrometrics as Kat was on the Bridge.
"The anomaly is approximately 600 meters in diameter," 7 said.
"It's out of phase with normal space," B'Elanna said. "Even after recalibrating the sensors, it barely registers,"
"The Distortion circumscribes a subspace zone that includes a Type G sun and 3 planets," 7 said.
"Any sign of the shuttle," Chakotay said.
"No," 7 said.
"I'd say it's time to break out the multispatial Probe," Chakotay said.
"Agreed," I said as we got hit. "What the hell is that?"
"A vessel approaching off the port bow, They've locked a tractor beam," 7 said.
As we got to the Bridge.
"I'm only going to say this one more time, Disengage your tractor beam sir," Kat said as we got there. "We appreciate your help but we didn't ask for. Captain this is Mr. Yost,"
"Supervisor Yost, Renovation Team Nova," Yost said.
"Captain McCall of the starship Voyager," I said.
"Until tomorrow I suggest you stay at least 2 million kilometers from the distortion," Yost said.
"Why," I said.
"The rift will be closed by then," Yost said.
"Some of my crew are trapped inside," I said.
"I am sorry," Yost said. "We have lost 11 ships to the distortion over the last year. It must be sealed,"
"What about your people," Chakotay said.
"Even if there were survivors, there's no way to rescue them, The Best we can do is to prevent others from being trapped," Yost said.
"We can't abandon our crew," I said. "If you could delay your mission,"
"My orders are to seal the rift by this time tomorrow, If you want to attempt a rescue between now and then, The risk is yours to take, But I wouldn't advise it," Yost said. As he cut the channel.
"Launch the Probe," I said.
"Aye Captain," Chakotay said.
"Work with B'Elanna and 7 to enhance the sensors, Do whatever you can to find Tom and Tuvok," I said. "Kat. We'll look for a way to counter those gravitational forces,"
"I'll do it in Engineering at least I can run Sims down there," Kat said.
"Okay, I'll be in my Ready room," I said.

Not long later. The Door Bell rang.
"Come in," I said.
As Chakotay came in.
"I've been brushing up on sinkholes, Quantum singularities," I said.
"Any luck," Chakotay said.
"All the data leads me to the same conclusion. They're mono-directional phenomena, what goes in, doesn't come out," I said.
"Well, if it's any consolation, Something's coming out of that anomaly," Chakotay said.
"What is it?" I said.
"Telemetry from our probe," Chakotay said. "We've located the shuttle's distress beacon on a Class D Planet,"
"Vulcan, Human, Alien Lifesigns," I said. "At least we know they're alive,"
"Keep reading," Chakotay said.
"The Hell," I said. "There's astronomical data here covering a 3 month period, Time differential,"
"That would be my guess," Chakotay said.
"How big," I said.
"It's difficult to say, But every hour that passes for us, could mean weeks, even Months for Tom and Tuvok," Chakotay said.
"Months trying to survive in a Class D Environment, And more than likely they've assumed that we left them behind long ago," I said.
"Ready for the Bad news," Chakotay said.
"Please Tell me you are Fucking with me," I said.
"Afraid not, The Gravitational stress is increasing, 7 believes the sinkhole is on the verge of collapse," Chakotay said.
"What happens when it does," I said.
"Everything inside will be crushed," Chakotay said.
"Tell B'Elanna, Harry and 7 working on a way to Beam them out," I said.
"Already are," Chakotay said.
"Then let's hope it's soon," I said.

"We can use the Multispatial probe as a transporter Relay," 7 said.
"It'll take a little time to reconfigure the targeting scanners, But with a little luck it should work," B'Elanna said.
"Any reason we can't use the same relay to send a Com signal," I said.
"I don't see why not," B'Elanna said.
"Good, Let them know that help is on the way," I said.
"Captain to the Bridge," Harry said.
As we got out there.
"Harry," I said.
"They've started ahead of schedule," Harry said.
"Hail them," I said.
"Yes," Yost said.
"It was my understanding you wouldn't begin for another 6 hours," I said.
"We're ready now," Yost said.
"We're aren't. We need at least 2 hours to make a rescue attempt," I said.
"I'm sorry, "Yost said. As he cut the link.
"How long until they seal the rift," I said.
"Approximately 30 minutes," 7 said.
"Then that's all we've got," I said. "B'Elanna,"
"On it," B'Elanna said.

"We're ready to send a message," B'Elanna said.
"Try hail them again," I said.
"No response to our hails, Captain," Harry said.
"At this rate their anti graviton beam will seal the distortion in approximately 29 minutes," 7 said.
"Transporter Status," I said.
"I've completed the reconfiguration, but we're only going to be able to relay one transporter beam through the Probe," B'Elanna said.
"We'll have to get Tom and Tuvok, Within a 2 meter radius of their distress Beacon," Chakotay said.
"Harry," I said.
"I've Opened a channel," Harry said.
"Voyager to Away Team, A transporter beam with a radius of 2 meters will activate at the coordinates of your distress Beacon in exactly 30 minutes, Be advised we've detecting a Temporal Differential between our 2 positions, According to our calculations the Differential Ratio is .4744 seconds per minute." I said. "Keep repeating that Harry,"
"Done," Harry said.

"Time," I said.
"The Rift will be sealed in less than 2 minutes," 7 said.
"Move us into Range," I said. "Stand by for transport,"
"Yes sir," B'Elanna said.
"We're in Transporter range," Chakotay said.
"Link up with the probe and relay the signal," I said.
"Stand by," B'Elanna said. "I've got a lock on their beacon,"
"They're supposed to be ready for transport in 32 seconds, Let's hope they don't stand us up," I said. "Begin a 20 second countdown on my mark. Now,"
"20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1," B'Elanna said.
"Initialize transport Sequence, Now," I said.
"We've got them," Harry said.
"Helm, Get us out of here," I said.
"Aye Captain," Helm said.

"Captain's log Stargate 52438.9, We are en route to a friend of our away team's home world, But We did manage to get our people back and The Doctor, Who has given them a clean bill of health, As B'Elanna completed her Diagnostic of the Doctor, Who is fine also. We getting ready to go to Warp. Just waiting until it is Time, End log," I said.
