Next Morning when Callie woke up she felt a weight on her stomach and it took her few seconds to realize what has happened. She looked towards the source of the weight and her face split into a broad smile when she saw the blond hairs sprawled on to the pillow and a pale hand was lying on Callie's waist
Gradually, the scene from last night started flashing in her mind and she took a deep breath filled with gratitude. Finally, she had the peace she was looking for, finally, she was at the place she meant to be all along. Arizona was here, in her bed, lying next to her… she was finally here and now she finally feels complete. With overflowing emotions, Callie couldn't help but stare at her. She didn't dare to move a muscle as she was afraid it will break the spell she was in and as if on cue her phone started to ring from the side table. Callie quickly moves to silent the disturbing tone before picking it up and glanced towards the sleeping blond to check and make sure that the ring did not disturb her.
Torres! Clyde exclaimed enthusiastically.
"Sshh! Use your morning voice" Callie whispered.
"Why are we whispering? Where are you?" Clyde replied with the same enthusiasm as before.
I…umm...I am in my room" Callie replied still whispering
"then why are you whispering?" Clyde asked again
"umm- Sofia is with me" Callie lied and immediately slam her palm on her head realizing the flaw
"Sofia? Isn't she in summer camp?" Clyde enquired
"Um,... yeah… umm… Clyde… I will call you back" Callie said forgetting that she was supposed to whisper which made Arizona grunt and stir in her sleep.
"Torres! What the hell is happening..." Clyde asked in confusion "Cough twice if you are held against your will" he added jokily
"oh I am being held… but no way it is against my will" Callie looked towards Arizona again and thought with a smile.
"HHEELLOO!" Clyde shouted from the other side of the line.
Knowing that there is no way she can get rid of her stupid best friend, Callie reluctantly got out of the bed, very carefully lifting Arizona's hand off her stomach. She then tip-toed out of the room to talk.
"Yeah! Now tell me why you called at-" She glanced at her watch "-7 in the morning?
"Now she speaks! What the hell was that? Who was there with you" Clyde enquired?
"Well- I was not alone in the bed- soooo…" Callie replied.
"You sneaky bitch, you slept with someone?" Clyde exclaimed in horror.
Callie gave a nervous chuckle "Look who is drunk in the morning"? and tried to pass it as a joke
"WHAT?! Torres!.. here I am rooting for you and Arizona and there you are sleeping with someone else... I thought… I thought you and Arizona and were going on date… don't tell me you screwed that up already…I mean Callie why are you so afraid" Clyde exclaimed.
"First of all HUSH! Take a breath and let me speak for God's sake-" Callie tried to talk but Clyde cut her off
"Don't give me that Torres, tell me who that is? Tell me! Tell Me! Tell Meeeee! Wait I thought you and Arizona were working on your relationship again… Oh My God! Did you guys break up again? What did you do Toress! Don't tell me you freaked out and did something stupid…. wait! is it Arizona? Oh Yeah, It's Arizona isn't it… you already did the deed? Alright, Go Torres! " Clyde rambled excitedly over the phone.
"Oh My God! Will you ever stop talking? Calm down for a second and let me speak will you?" Callie shouted over the phone to stop Clyde's verbal diarrhea "Fine IT IS Arizona" Callie replied and heard the gasp from the other side so she continued fast as to not get interrupted "and before you say anything… no we did not sleep together… I mean we did sleep together but not like that… we just slept with each other…Holding each other…Nothing else"
"Oh that's hot, I hope you guys used protection," Clyde said sarcastically.
"Oh! Get out of here, it was amazing and intimate, and….." Callie took a deep breath.
"All right! All Right! I get it you had a most amazing …sleepgasm last night get over it!" Clyde replied in mock condescend.
"Did you call me for mocking me and my relation or you really had something to talk about?" Callie said in mock annoyance.
"Well... I was thinking that you and Arizona-" Clyde started to explain the reason for the call but got interrupted by some sound on the other side of the line
"Hey," Arizona said coming out of the room. Rubbing eyes sleepily
"Hi! Good morning" Callie replied with a wide smile.
"Who are you talking to?" Arizona asked
"Oh it's just Clyde," Callie said.
"Just Clyde? I am JUST Clyde?" Clyde shouted loud enough that Arizona heard that too, which made her chuckle.
"You Shush!" Callie said to Clyde
"Is it Arizona? Let me talk to her" Clyde replied
"What? Why?" Callie replied sounding scared
"What do you mean why? Because I want to talk to her that's why?" Clyde replied
"No, she doesn't want to talk to you" Callie replied and mouthed "I'll tell you later" to Arizona who was looking at the scene in front of her with a curious and questioning expression
"Come on Toress, don keep me hanging! Let me talk to her" Clyde was still shouting over the phone
"Shut up! And bye CLYYDDEE… talk to you later… I loooovvve you" Callie replied and before Clyde could say anything she hung up the phone
"Hey, Good Morning," Callie said as she walked up to Arizona and after a little fiddling decided to give her a small peck on the cheek which made Arizona smile.
"Good morning," Arizona said with a blush
"How did you sleep?" Callie asked with a little uncertainty
"Great…. You?" Arizona replied hesitantly
Callie was trying to decide if she should play it cool or answer honestly "I ... Umm… it… was..." finally deciding to be honest she replied "to tell you the truth, it was the best sleep in a long time… I can't even remember the last time I slept so soundly"
Arizona smiled beamingly "Me too… I slept like a rock" which made Callie smile widely
"Coffee?" Callie asked
"Oh God yes!" Arizona replied enthusiastically
After having breakfast where they didn't talk much as they were feeling a little awkward and shy from the last night, Arizona got up to leave.
"You are leaving?" Callie said sounding disheartened
"Umm... Yeah, I need a shower and then I have to go and pick up Nicole... Need to visit the clinic as well… too much to do" Arizona replied.
"oh... Okay," Callie replied meekly.
"Hey don't be like that" Arizona said "We will hang out soon"
"When? Tomorrow" Callie replied with childlike enthusiasm which made Arizona chuckle.
"We will see" Arizona replied.
"I know what "we will see means" " Callie said with a pout
"Seriously Callie! A Pout?" Arizona said while laughing, the scene in front of her was way cute for Arizona to contain her laughter "Sometimes I get confused who is the kid, you or Sofia?"
"Fine go... Do your work" Callie replied in mock frustration.
Arizona chuckled and shook her head at Callie's cuteness before going into the room to change.
After changing Arizona left for her house, leaving brooding Callie behind
"So what should we do now?" Callie asked to an empty house.

Arizona had a busy day after coming back from Callie's, she quickly showered and arranged the documents for the site visit. Around 2 PM Nicole's Flight landed at JFK and Arizona went to pick her up at the Airport. After the usual meet and greet of two women directly went to the site where Arizona explained the design flow of the clinic. They were equipped with 2 OR and 5 rooms as of now for any emergencies, other than that, they had made the association with some prestigious hospitals around New York for their overflow and other emergencies which might require some extra help.
Other than the medical care they were also going to train new doctors for this specialty. They have started the process of accreditation a few months ago and were waiting for approval. All in all the clinic was ready to start in the next few weeks.
After the site visit and documentation which took almost a whole day Arizona and Nicole head towards the diner for the dinner. Due to the busy day, Arizona didn't even get the time to check her phone and when she did check her phone she found a message from Callie
Callie: Hey, I know you are busy. I hope everything is going well there. I just messaged you to say… I miss you:-D
Upon reading the message Arizona's lips form a smile that big, that could power up the whole block. Arizona was gushing over the message and did not hear what Nicole was saying as she was busy replying to Callie.
Arizona: Everything went well… thank you for asking… and I missed you too.
"Robbins, did you abandon the blind lady in a diner, so you don't have to pay," Nicole said humorously but still didn't receive the answer, so she tried again a little louder this time "ROBBINS!" startling Arizona.
"Huh?" Arizona came back to her senses and looked up "What? What Happen? Why are you yelling?" Arizona asked.
"Seriously? I was talking to you for the last 3 minutes and you didn't reply and now you are asking me why I am shouting" Nicole said laughing.
"Oh! Sorry, I got distracted?" Arizona replied with a blush.
"Hmm! Were you ogling some lady in the diner Robbins?" Nicole said in a teasing tone.
"What? No … I… um… I was replying to some message" Arizona said still blushing.
"umm… hmmm," Nicole said, making a face "I will have to take your word on it Robbins. I hope you are not taking advantage of my blindness" Nicole teased Arizona.
"What!? Nicole… God No" Arizona replied with a shock
"Okay okay, no need to cry… I was just kidding" Nicole replied
"I am not cr… you know what forget it" Arizona replied shaking her head and just then a ding came from her phone again
Callie: I am glad it went well… so I was thinking that lunch tomorrow…? I'll cook.
Arizona looked at the message with a shit-eating grin and before she could reply, another message came.
Callie: I mean… Sofia is coming this week so this will be our last weekend where we can be free…because you know after that we may not get time… but I will understand if you don't want to… I mean if you want a break.
Arizona chuckled at Callie's rambling which did not do unnoticed by Herman and before Arizona could reply, Nicole asked "You are seeing someone aren't you?"
"What!? ... um NO" Arizona replied stuttering.
"Don't lie to me Robbins I am blind, not stupid… I can feel you blushing from over here" Nicole replied.
"Fine! Yes… I am seeing someone but it's very new, so I didn't want to tell anyone" Arizona replied
"I understand" Nicole replied with a smile "Hang in there, you seem to like this person a lot"
"I do," Arizona said lightly.
After that Arizona sent the quick text to Callie confirming the lunch tomorrow which got a reply with like 10 smiley face emojis from Callie.
Once the dinner arrived Nicole and Arizona discussed their business plan in little more detail than Arizona dropped Nicole at her hotel before calling the night.
At home, when Arizona went to bed her mind drifted back to the day before and a sudden realization hit her "It's our third date."

I hope everyone is fine and healthy and not hating me for abandoning this story for such a long time.
1st of all I am sorry about that… a week after my exam… I met with an accident in Feb and broke my arm (thankfully it was only my arm and nothing major) so for the next few weeks, I could not type at all, couldn't go to work as well. It took some time to recover and then work got me good… I tried to write but did not get the time at all. I am up and about now.
I know this is a small chapter than usual, but I was determined to post something today.
