It's been a couple of months since unicron and lot has happened MECH ripped out bumblebee t-cog and was going to use it for something not even my contacts knew what.
Turns out starscream started working with them.
We didn't find out what MECH was up to until day
Tonight we were racing RC car just having a good time when we got a call from fowler.
"Prime do you read me." Fowler said
"I'm sorry agent Fowler, optimus not here." Ratchet told him
"Then I'll take that as confirmation that he's currently trying to run me off the road." Fowler replied
"Agent fowler that doesn't seem likely." Ratchet told him
"Tell that to my burning treads." Fowler said in a hurry
Me and team prime went to investigate and a dark red and navy blue truck was driving away with Fowler's car hanging off the bridge Bumblebee jumped off and caught Fowler
Bulkhead and arcee transformed "Look like Optimus." Bulkhead said confused
"Primes didn't run." Arcee said then transformed and chased after the look a like.
I Shadow traveled to the ground and bulkhead jumped over the bridge when Fowler went over "Arresto momentum." Stopping Fowler's car for a moment giving bulkhead time to catch him.
"You alright in there?" Bulkhead asked
"At ease soldier." Fowler replied than the airbag hit him square in the face
After a minute or two we didn't hear anything from arcee bumblebee want to go check it out and it looked like she was hit we groundbridge back to base to let ratchet check her out
"Yes that's it follow the light" ratchet told her
"wait, what" arcee said in a hurry "not the best choice of word ratchet." she said a little scared.
"Arcee, are you alright?" I asked
"sure except being blindsided by Optimus." she reported
"Didn't I tell you." fowler said
"That doesn't make any sense, Optimus wouldn't even allow Fowler to bler his horn when we met..." I realized something at the end.
"what jack?"raf asked
"MECH, ziggy bring me the Pensieve projector." i called out a silver bowl with blueish silver but this one was special. It projected a memory that got put into it and I pulled out my wand "do you know how these agent fowler".
"Yes jack." he replied. I nodded my face and put my wand to his temple and pulled his memory of the event.
A memory came up fast forward to the part we need. A black truck hit Fowler making him spin out "that no road rage someone trying to bump me off." the black truck got closer and Fowler got a good look at the grill. It had an autobots symbol "prime."
I stopped right there "does anyone notice something weird about this optimus."
"Yeah the symbol has something wrong it looks like rusted." miko saif
"the gill looks the same" raf
"too top it all the hail is dark red and navy blue, looks great for night time opts but it's not optimus." arcee said
By the time we finished talking Optimus showed up, "is something wrong."
"We were wondering where you have been?" arcee asked
"We haven't been able to reach you?" bulkhead said
"I have been outside our communication range" optimus replied reaching for something behind him and everyone brought out their weapons "in a subterranean energon deposit" showing us an energon crystal they bots didn't lower their weapons.
"Come on it's clearly our guy cat you tell." i said
The bots lower their weapons "were umm… sorry."
"didn't blame them prime i was attack tonight out on the open highway truck with a striking look to you."
a few minutes later fowler got a call from "what's thats not possible" the person said on the other side "I can you sure as there fifty stars on my star spangled shirt it's not him" he hung up and told us Aldan military base is under attack by Optimus prime."
"The truck?" I asked
"The bot." Fowler replied
The bots went to fight this freaker but returned a few minutes later.
"No general bryce Optimus prime didn't attack our boys." The general said something on the other side "because I was with prime when I got the alert." Again he said something "yes sir the autobot where their at your base but only to respond to the attack." Fowler looked like he got some bad news "but sir… yes sir"
"So how bad is it?" I asked
"All military personal are under strict orders to destroy any and all bots." Fowler replied
We gave our protest but it made little difference.
"Those unfortunate, the military order changes nothing our imposter prose a great threat to humanity."
"A thirty foot transforming imposter." Fowler replied
"They did it, they managed to crack the code those butchers actually managed to crack the code."
Optimus only said one word but it was all we needed "MECH."
Ratchet put all the pieces together "MECH abducted breakdown and took him apart from head to toe."
"I was there." Bulkhead said sommaily
"And we know they recently took starscream t-cog" Optimus said
"Which they installed in a knock off of you." Arcee said
"Which intern scanned an appropriate vehicle form." Ratchet said
"Full the tank up with energon." I said "and say hello to nemesis prime." Miko finished
"So when do we start MECH base could be anywhere." Fowler
"Not necessarily MECH may know a lot about our biology." Optimus said
"They haven't necessarily absorb our technology without a groundbridge nemesis prime would have to used its vehicle form to get around." ratchet said
"So chances are the MECH could be in driving distance of the two attacks." Arcee said
"So what are we wait for lets wreak MECH science project." Fowler said
"Agent Fowler I don't think it's wise to put you in harm's way of MECH robot again."
"Well I don't thinks it wise for you all to do recon with the military gunning for you."
"I have a few spells in mind that would help for a little bit and give me a few minutes and I can narrow down your search." I told
"how?" Arcee asked
"The nose knows MECH has to use something big and have power to control the robot." I said
Bumblebee buzzed something and deaf translated "Would smelling the bumper help?"
I agreed b bumblebee brought me said bumbler I closed eyes and took a deep breath "I smell the desert, gas fumes and…" i took another deep breath "trace amounts of unrefined oil guys you're looking for an oil refinery"
Ratchet did some searching around "there's an oil refinery within driving descent of both attacks" ratchet said he got ready to open a groundbridge.
"Guys." i called out they look to me "as one of the greatness aurors used to say constant vigilance I can not stress that enough, take on that freaker as team you don't know what this can do" they all agreed
At the oil refinery a few minutes later nemesis prime made quick work of team prime except Optimus he was holding his own.
at the autobot base
"if i can isolate the control frequency Silas is implying I might be able to pinpoint his exact position." ratchet said
"Remote link?" Raf asked
"You didn't think MECH the possessed the ability to make a fully autonomous robot did you." Ratchet replied
"I was hoping silas would be oprating the bot from inside becuase one hit from bulkhead and." Miko said then acted like she punched something than was dying.
After a few minutes ratchet locked in on the signal "frequency isolate." He replied
"Than reopen of that bridge." Fowler told him ratchet protested saying that staying at base was for his own safety.
"Look doc, I don't plan on dancing with no bot but there is a human element at play here and In case you no haven't notice I happen to be a highly trained, government grade human." Fowler countered
"Plus silas tried to run him off the road its personal." Miko interjected
"Besides who said he was going in alone I came he knocked out arcee in an unfair fight it's pay back time." I through in my two cents
Ratchet opened the groundbridge feeling better with me going.
When we come out I heard fowler say something about throwing up the breakfast he had in flight school.
"You get used to it here drink it will help settle your stomach." I said handing him a potion "I can say this groundbridging somewhere is better than apparation."
"Thanks jack." He replied when he finished "that stuff taste terrible." A few seconds later "but you're right it does help."
"Some things just cant be helped." I replied I could hear Optimus fighting with his doppelganger.
Fowler got a call from ratchet "copy that, one-hundred meters Dow north." I heard him say than I grabbed him a shadow traveled to the roof where fowler knocked out a guard.
When we got inside I stopped "I have an idea, magic and tech don't mix to well if you can distract him i have spell in mind that's low enough to slow the tech down but not destroy it, to keep from tipping MECH off about the magical world that's all we need magical MECH agents."
"Ok ill distract him you start the spell when we start fighting."
I shadow traveled to the floor OT helped that the place was mostly dark "My robot chassis has all your speed, strength and firepower." I heard Silas say
'boy he really likes the gloat.' I thought "add my extensive combat training and MECH had clearly achieved the perfect mix between man and machine."
'Boy I wish he would just shut up." I thought I closed my eye yo start the spell its fairly simple i close my eyes planet my hands on the ground and push my magic into the earth and create a magic echo it allows me to see everything thats connected to the ground.
"But the key difference between you and me is that my body cant feel pain." Silas said "this is just the beginning, imagine an army of transforming robots MECH no one would against the newly reboot MECH."
"Think again si." Fowler said walking up to him with knocked out MECH agents behind
"Agent Fowler in the flesh at last." Silas said getting up to face him "and I'm pulling the plug on your little video game." Fowler replied, getting ready to fight.
Them two started after Silas got the upper hand by getting behind him and hitting in the back also a wordless spell came from some where tripped him "ex-military?" Fowler asked
"Special techs you?" Silas replied and endee with a question.
"Army rangers." Fowler said proudly getting a couple punches in.
"Retired clearly." Silas said than hit him with a couple of around
House kicks to the face "I would to introduced you to my associate."
A man came out of the shadows in green and brown robes with a mask covering his face he pointed a wand at Fowler "Where is your friend, the wizard that help you?" He asked
Fowler had "What a wizard?" Fowler asked wiping some blood off his lip.
He pointed his wand at fowler and said "Crucio." After a second or two he stopped "I dont have the time nor the patience to deal with the likes of you creature."
"You'll need to do more than that to get me to talk." Fowler said
"If you won't talk, you're no use to me alive." he said "Avada kedavra" a green spell flow at fowler.
To his and Fowler's surprise an earth wall came out in front of fowler and I walked out of the shadows and fired off five stupefies all but one hit their target.
"so the son of captain Darby comes out of hiding " the figure said
"You knew my dad?" I asked
We started circling each other "oh yes I fact I was the one to kill him and his partner."
"Fowler, can you handle Silas?" I asked
"Yeah sure." He said
I used Tempest and he used Reduction and we got into a temporary Prior Incantato but I broke it
"Expulso." I heard but I blocked it with a wordless
I put in a enough power a "Ascendio" send him into the ceiling.
He apparated back down to the ground and almost hit me with a Confringo. I reversed the spell back on him "you can't block forever." He jumped out of the way he told me.
"I don't need to beat." I replied
Silas gave Fowler another round of house "We just to buy prime a little time."
Silas realized what he was talking about and jumped back on the computer and the combined force of prime and my magic slowed the computer down.
nemesis didn't have enough time to fight back "you have copied Optimus speed, strength and firepower but you'll never have pack mates."
Than nemesis came crashing through the roof. I threw up a shield around me and fowler.
The man apparated to the upper railing "till we meet again creature, next time i'll show the world what a real monster looks like." Than he portkeyed away.
"Till we meet again… hopefully never." I replied
"Jack, agent Fowler." Optimus said, confused
some helicopters came flying in "that would be our boys I advise you to head to base prime, i'll handle uncle sam." Optimus argeed
When we found everyone I casted a notice me not charm on everyone and Optimus called for a groundbridge.
Later that day.
"So how weird was it got someone who looked exactly like Optimus kicking the scrap out of you?" Miko asked
bulkhead sounded embarrassed
"It's a sight I won't soon forget." Arcee answered
Optimus was getting heal by ratchet "the question is if MECH will function without their leader."
Fowler called in at the moment "that's the kicker prime we scripted with a fine tooth comb and Silas couldn't find any Trace of silas."
"My concern is his associate. He is a wizard and was the one to kill my dad."
Just then the temperature dropped "oh no not again." Ratchet grumbled
Three dementors floated in but didn't attack "what's going on elder dementor."
"We'll explain when the vampires show." He replied
Three bats came flying in one was older and transformed into Vlad the Impaler, Eric and alucard "ok now i'm worried will someone please tell me what's going on"
"The dagger of vesuvius has been stolen." eric said spoke up first
