Chapter 134.

(Leah POV)

I was in the Ready room when We got hit from something.

"Red Alert, Captain to the Bridge," Chakotay said. As the Klaxons were Red.

"Report," I said as we got hit again.

"A ship just de-cloaked off our port stern," Tom said.

"Can you ID it," I said.

"They recloaked," Harry said.

As we got hit again.

"That Disruptor blast had a Klingon Signature," Tuvok said.

"Evasive Maneuvers, Hail them," I said.

"No response," Tuvok said.

"They uncloaking again," Harry said as we got hit hard.

"Port Shields Are down to 50%," Tuvok said.

"Harry, ZPM 1 to Shields," I said.

"Already done, Shields back to 90%," Harry said. "They've recloaked again,"

"The Tetryon readings indicate, It's a D7 Class Cruiser," Tuvok said.

"D7, They were Retired decades ago," Tom said.

"If their Technology is antiquated" Tuvok said.

"Perhaps a Metaphasic scan might be able to penetrate their cloak," Chakotay said.

"Bridge to Astrometrics, 7 initiate a Metaphasic sweep," I said.

"I've detected a vessel. Transferring the trajectory to Tactical," 7 said.

"I have them," Tuvok said.

"Fire Phasers," I said.

"Direct hit, They've Lost their Cloak," Tuvok said.

"Target their shields, Fire," I said.

"Their Forward Emitters are offline," Tuvok said.

"Hail them again," I said.

"They're responding," Harry said.

"On screen," I said. "This is Captain Leah McCall of the Federation starship Voyager, Stand down,"

"We will not surrender to sworn enemies of the Klingon Empire," He said.

"I think there has been a mistake, The Federation and the Klingon Empire signed a peace treaty over 80 years ago, If I'm not mistaken it's still in effect," I said.

"You're lying," He said.

"I'm not lying, even if I was, Your D7 no match for Voyager, I suggest we discuss this," I said.

"What is there to talk about," He said.

"The Treaty for one thing, I give you complete access to the Database and you can confirm it yourself," I said.

"Databases can be falsified," He said.

"I have a Klingon onboard my ship," I said.

"Impossible," He said.

"She's my Chief engineer," I said.

"I will meet this chief engineer," He said.

"We'd be honoured to have you as our guest," I said.

XXX

"You're safe here, you have my word," I said.

"Forgive me if I don't find the word of a human very reassuring," Kolhar said.

"I'd Like to know what you're doing in the Delta Quadrant," I said.

"I'm not answering any questions until I see the Klingon," Kolhar said.

"Captain Kolhar, Lt Torres our chief Engineer," I said.

"You're with Child," Kolhar said.

"That's what the Doctor Tells me," B'Elanna said.

"Did you conceive during the holy month of Naypoq," Kolhar said.

"I have no idea," B'Elanna said.

"It would have been 14 or 15 weeks ago," Kolhar said.

"That sounds about right, Not that it's any of your business," B'Elanna said.

"I must return to my ship," Kolhar said.

"Aren't you interested in learning about the Treaty," Tuvok said.

"Here's a Copy of the Khitomer Accords," Chakotay said.

"I must return to my vessel," Kolhar said.

"Not without you assurance that you won't fire on my ship again," I said.

"You have my word," Kolhar said.

"Tuvok, Escort Captain Kolhar back to the Transporter Room," I said.

"Aye captain," Tuvok said as they left.

"What the hell was that about," B'Elanna said.

"You asking the wrong person here, B'Elanna," I said.

XXX

"Captain the Klingon Ship, It's core is breaching," Harry said.

"Red Alert," I said As the klaxons went Red. "Hail them,"

"I salute you Captain, You did more damage to our vessel than my Engineer thought," Kolhar said.

"We can send a team over to establish a containment field," I said.

"There isn't Time," Kolhar said.

"He's right, their core is going to breach in less than 30 seconds," Harry said.

"I'm requesting an emergency transport," Kolhar said.

"Captain their crew Complement is 204," Tuvok said.

"Place forcefield around the shuttlebay transport them there," I said. "Tell your people to standby for transport," As he cut the link.

"10 seconds," Harry said.

"If we're still to close when their core breaches," Chakotay said.

"I know, Sorry Tom," I said as I used the chair and took over the Helm. As I got the Warp engines ready.

"5, 4, 3, 2," Harry said.

"We have them," Tuvok said.

"Going," I said as I jumped us to Warp.

"We're clear," Tom said. As I shut down the Chair.

"Harry, Tuvok, go over the sensor logs, find out what happened to that ship," I said.

XXX

I had Tuvok get someone to Bring Kolhar to My Ready room. As He came in as Tuvok was with me.

"You spared us a dishonourable death," Kolhar said.

"Sensor Logs indicate that the Containment failure was not caused by our weapons," Tuvok said.

"You activated a self destruct sequence," I said.

"It was the only way to get us aboard Voyager," Kolhar said.

"Why, why was that so Important," I said.

"It's our sacred duty to be here," Kolhar said.

"Now you've lost me," I said.

"More than 100 years ago, My great Grandfather was part of a sect which believed the empire had lost its way, They discovered a sacred Text, It told them to Embark on a Journey to a distant region of the galaxy," Kolhar said.

"You've been travelling for 4 generations," I said.

"My People have always known the voyage would be long and difficult, But the scrolls said we would be rewarded," Kolhar said.

"How," I said.

"We would find the Kuvahmagh, The saviour of our people, The one will lead us to a new empire," Kolhar said. "The Scrolls instruct us to follow her wherever she goes,"

"What does any of this have to do with Voyager," I said.

"I believe the kuvahmagh is the unborn child of B'Elanna Torres," Kolhar said.

XXX

"You're Joking," B'Elanna said.

"I wish I was, They take their beliefs very seriously," I said.

"Seriously Enough to destroy their own ship," Tom said.

"Couldn't they have just followed us," Harry said.

"Apparently, Their sacred text told them to cast off the old ways as soon as they found this Kuvahmagh," I said.

"They saw their vessel as the last vestige of the corrupt Empire," Tuvok said.

"We could of gotten hold of their sensor logs of what we are coming across eventually," I said.

"Shame," Chakotay said.

"I was hoping our Daughter would be special, But I never dreamed she'd turn out to be the Klingon Messiah," Tom said.

"This isn't funny," B'Elanna said.

"They might be dangerous, What if they want to hurt the Baby," B'Elanna said.

"To them, your Baby's sacred, It's unlikely they would do anything to harm her," Chakotay said.

"200 Klingons pose a significant security threat, I suggest we keep them confined to the shuttle bay," Tuvok said. "until we can find a suitable home for them,"

"There are women and children down there," Neelix said. "We can't just lock them up,"

"Agreed," I said.

"Captain," Tuvok said.

"Assign extra security to every deck, And make sure the Klingons know and abide by the rules," I said.

"The Bridge will have to be off limits, Engineering as well," Tuvok said.

"Keep them out off all restricted areas," I said.

"Despite their reverence for Lt Torres, She should be assigned a 24 hour security detail," Tuvok said.

"Just what I need," B'Elanna said.

"Where are they going to sleep," Harry said.

"We'll double up in quarters, I'll ask for Volunteers," Neelix said.

"I know this isn't going to be easy, But until we can find another place for them, We should do out best to make them fell comfortable. Tom Resume our course for home, Dismissed," I said.

XXX

"Captain, you must try the Gagh," Neelix said.

"Not here for the food Neelix," I said. "but I'm glad to see you're getting into the spirit of things,"

"Well I've been studying the Klingon Database, They're a fascinating people very robust, and uh, they certainly seem to appreciate my culinary skills," Neelix said.

"It looks like everything is running smoothly," I said.

"Uh, not quite everything, some of the starfleet people have been complaining about the smell," Neelix said. "Personally I find it appealing, A kind of Musky aroma,"

"Maybe we can adjust the environmental controls to filter out the musk," I said.

XXX

I was in my quarters finally. As Chloe and Clara Hugged me as I walked through the door.

"Hey Kiddos," I said.

"Hey Mum," Clara said.

"Mummy, your back," Chloe said.

"For now Kiddo," I said.

As we went over to the sofa. As They snuggled into me.

As the door opened again as 7 walked in.

"Hey," I said.

"Hey," 7 said. "Could of started without me,"

"I'm only just home," I said.

"Everything is nearly done anyway," Clara said.

As the Replicator beeped.

"Never mind, Just finished," Clara said. As She got up and went over to the Replicator.

"Come on, Let's eat," I said.

As we got what Clara had to ready for us. Which was Steak Pie, Roast Potatoes and gravy.

XXX

After we were done.

We ended up back on the Sofa. With Clara, Chloe, Me and 7. As my girls were Snuggled into each other and Clara into me. As I pulled 7 against me. As Clara went and put something on which ended up being a Movie. Clara ended up putting on. Garfield 2. As soon as the movie was over. Chloe was fast asleep and Clara was almost ready to drop.

"Come one, Kiddo, Bed time," I said. As I lifted Chloe up as Clara and I went into their room and put Chloe down on the bed gently as Clara got in next to her as Clara gently pulled Chloe against her as I got the duvet over them. "Night, Night, Baby girl's,"

"Night, Mum," Clara said. As I kissed her and Chloe's forehead.

As I headed back out to the main part where 7 was still sitting down.

"Wanna go to bed," I said holding my hand out. As 7 grabbed my hand as I pulled her up. As we went into our room. As we let go of each others hands as I went and had a shower before putting on my Purple fluffy PJ's on. As I headed back out. As I saw 7 already in Bed. I went and got in Next to her and Laid down as I pulled 7 against me. "Love you,"

"Love you too, Leah," 7 said as I Kissed her as I felt the Alcove underneath the bed come online as we fell asleep.

XXX

When I woke up. I saw that 7 was still asleep. As I slipped out and went for a shower. After I got showered and into my Purple underwear then my Catsuit. As I headed out. As I saw 7 up and Already dressed.

"I never heard you get up," I said.

"I noticed," 7 said.

As I started to get my uniform on.

"When are you getting off," I said.

"1900 hours," 7 said.

"Meet you here then," I said.

"You got it," 7 said as she came over and kissed me. "I love you,"

"Love you too, 7," I said.

As 7 left. Just as I finished getting my uniform on.

As I went and got myself a Coffee.

"Computer, Time," I said.

"The time is 0800 hours," Computer said.

As I went to check on my girl who were both still asleep.

As I left and headed for the Bridge. As the Turbolift stopped and I walked out.

"Captain, All repairs are complete," Harry said.

"Any thing during the night," I said.

"Nothing, Not even a star system," Harry said. "We should be expecting the next datastream from Earth in another week,"

"I'm counting on it, Right now we really need some R and R," I said.

"I'll keep my eyes open," Harry said.

"I'll be in my ready room," I said.

"Yes Ma'am," Harry said.

As I headed into my ready room.

XXX

I was heading down to B'Elanna and Tom, Something is going on with the Klingons and only B'Elanna can help fix this. As I got to their quarters and Rang the bell.

"Come in," Tom said.

"Captain," B'Elanna said.

"Sorry to bother you but I need your help," I said. "10 of the Klingons have started a hunger strike, They say they won't eat until you agree to meet with their council of elders,"

"That's ridiculous," B'Elanna said.

"Their faith is obviously very important to them," I said.

"They think I'm something I'm not," B'Elanna said.

"Just talk to them, Hear what they have to say," I said.

"We could be with these people for a while. You can't avoid them forever," Tom said.

"I can try," B'Elanna said.

"If it'll make you feel any better, I'll go with you," Tom said.

XXX

"You honour us with your presence," Kolhar said.

"Look at her ridges, Morak was right, Your blood is not pure," He said.

"No, My father was human," B'Elanna said.

"Couldn't you see this for yourself," He said.

"Yes, But," Kolhar said.

"Why didn't you tell us," He said.

"It wasn't important," Kolhar said.

"Not Important," He said. "We destroyed our ship because you said she was the mother of the Kuvahmagh,"

"Show me where it's written that the Kuvahmagh must have pure Klingon Blood," Kolhar said.

"The Prophecy wouldn't lead us to a mongrel child," He said.

"Hey, take it easy," Tom said.

"Who are you," He said.

"I'm the Father of that mongrel child," Tom said.

"More human blood," He said. "Your Kuvahmagh isn't even half Klingon,"

"I've spent my life interpreting the scrolls, And I say that all the signs of the prophecy are here," Kolhar said.

"Liar," He said. "You've led us to a false savior," as he left.

As we headed out.

"I told you this was a mistake," B'Elanna said.

"Lt, I need your help," Kolhar said.

"Any more help from me, and you're going to have a holy war on your hands," B'Elanna said.

"That's what I'm trying to prevent," Kolhar said.

XXX

"My baby's just a baby," B'Elanna said. "She's not a savior,"

"Perhaps you're right, But we must convince my people that she is," Kolhar said.

"Why," I said.

"We've travelled more than 30,000 light years in search of this savior. and in more than 100 years, we've found nothing, except hardship and isolation, When I saw Lt Torres that she was with child, I didn't know If I was looking at the mother of the Kuvahmagh or not, but I did know I was looking at an opportunity to end this wasteful journey," Kolhar said.

"Then you don't believe in the prophecy," Tom said.

"What I believe is that my people have suffered enough, If they accept your child as the Kuvahmagh, You'll hold great influence over them," Kolhar said. "We can find a suitable planet, you can tell them it's their new home, and they'll follow you there,"

"I'm not going to lie to them," B'Elanna said.

"What's the alternative," Kolhar said. "My people staying aboard your ship draining your resources,"

"I agree with Lt Torres, I'm not comfortable deceiving your people," I said.

"Perhaps your won't have to lie to them to convince them," Kolhar said.

"What are you suggesting," B'Elanna said.

"If you study the scrolls with me, we may be able to interpret them in a way that appears consistent with the events of your life," Kolhar said. "Then we'll bring those consistencies to the attention of the council,"

"So you just want to stretch the truth a little," Tom said.

"It is possible that the sacred scrolls were scrawled by a madman in a cave, or perhaps they really were divinely inspired, Either way, they've guided us for over a century, If my people start to believe that the sacred scrolls have led them astray, there may be violence," Kolhar said.

"Is that a threat," I said.

"Merely a fact, You're doing everything you can to get your people home, Captain, That's all I'm doing for mine," Kolhar said.

XXX

"What was I supposed to say," Tom said.

"How about no," B'Elanna said.

"They were all watching there would have been a riot if I refused," Tom said.

"So you're going to get yourself killed," B'Elanna said.

"What makes you so sure I'd lose," Tom said.

"Oh please," B'Elanna said.

"Look, I have no intention of fighting anyone to the death, But wasn't the whole point of this to get them to believe that we are the parents of their savior," Tom said.

"Captain this has gone too far, Put a stop to it," B'Elanna said.

"I intend to," I said. "Tuvok," As Kolhar and that guy came in. "Gentlemen, I'm afraid Lt Paris had no authority to accept this challenge, There will be no death Matches aboard my ship,"

"I told this pahtk was not the true father," He said.

"Lt Paris is perfectly will to fight you, T'Greth. I'm the one not letting this happen on board my vessel," I said.

"The father of the Kuvahmagh wouldn't let a woman speak for him," T'Greth said.

"T'Greth, There is precedant for an honourable compromise," Kolhar said. "A non lethal bout fought with blunted Bat'leths, the victory goes to the first warrior to knock his opponent to the ground 3 times,"

"A coward's rules," T'Greth said.

"Was the Emperor Mur'Eq a cowards, He was the one who instituted these rules to insure that his warriors would kill their enemies and not each other," Kolhar said.

"If you agree to these terms, I'll allow the match," I said.

"I'll see you on the field of Battle," T'Greth said. As he left.

"I assume you have a suitable holodeck training program for this Lt," Tuvok said.

"He'll be ready, I'll train him myself," Kolhar said.

XXX

"I didn't think you approved of this kind of competition," Neelix said.

"I don't, I'm here in an official capacity," Doc said.

"Well you do know they're fighting with nonlethal weapons," Neelix said.

"You'd be surprised to what a blunt Bat'leth can do," I said.

"Warrior's Assemble," Kolhar said. "Let honour guide you, Tagh,"

As they was only circle each other.

After a few minutes T'Greth just fell down. Tom never had to hit him.

"Doc," I said.

"It's begun," Kolhar said.

"What are you talking about," Doc said.

"He's dying," Kolhar said.

"Typically, I'm the one to make that kind of prognosis," Doc said.

"It's the Nehret," Kolhar said. "It kills all of us who aren't fortunate enough to die in Battle,"

XXX

"It's a retrovirus, that destroys the cells by attacking the cytoplasmic membranes," Doc said.

"Shouldn't our bio filters have detected it when we transported the Klingons from their ship," I said.

"This is an insidious virus, It lies dormant, Disguising itself as inert genetic material, until it inexplicably activates," Doc said.

"The Nehret always comes without warning," Kolhar said.

"I've reviewed my scans of the other Klingons, They're all carriers," Doc said.

"Why didn't you tell us your people had a disease," I said.

"We've never thought of it as a disease," Kolhar said. "It's more like old age,"

"Is it contagious," I said.

"Only to Klingons," Doc said.

"If you'd give us some privacy, I'd like to examine Lt Torres," Doc said.

"Do it," I said as Kolhar and I left.

"Phaser fire in transporter room 1," Tuvok said.

"Bridge to Chakotay, Chakotay respond," I said. "Tuvok,"

"They just beam off some of our people off the ship down to the planet," Clara said.

"Forcefields," I said.

"Already have," Clara said. "It's stopping them locking on,"

"Captain, I'm detecting multiple transports some of our people are being beamed down to the surface," Tom said.

"Cut power to transporters," I said.

"Mum, I can't I'm locked out," Clara said.

"Bridge to Engineering , shut down the transporters," I said. "B'Elanna respond,"

"There's no one in engineering," Tom said.

"Arm yourselves, if they beam up here, Stun the whole lot," I said.

As we took positions. As I got to Clara as they beamed in and grabbed my phaser. Stunning one of them. As I got another one.

As Tom and Clara got the other 2.

"Grant me a warrior's death," T'Greth said. "I beg of you,"

"Sorry, No mercy killings on my Bridge," I said. "Get our people back,"

"Yes Ma'am," Tom said.

XXX

"Why am I not in Sto Vo Kor," T'Greth said.

"Because you are healthy as a targ," Doc said.

"The Nehret," T'Greth said.

"Gone," Doc said.

"We have B'Elanna Torres' child to thank for it," Kolhar said.

"The Fetus has hybrid stem cells, they contain Klingon and Human DNA," Doc said. "I used them to synthesize an antivirus,"

"The Child cured me," T'Greth said.

"I was the one who devised the treatment," Doc said.

"Doc," I said.

"Yes, of course the child cured you," Doc said.

"The Kuvahmagh has healed all of us," Kolhar said. "She truly is our saviour,"

As Kolhar and T'Greth left.

"So Both B'Elanna and her kid is safe now," I said.

"Yes, Captain, they are both safe," Doc said.

XXX

"Captain's Log Stardate 54529.8, While we're helping the Klingons into their new home, Life aboard Voyager is gradually returning to normal, We have beamed more than enough supplies to keep them going for a long time, As we are preparing to leave orbit in the Morning. End Log," I said.

That's all for this chapter.

More to follow.

Stay tuned and safe.

Love Y'all

PEACE!
