"This was supposed to be a 20 minute presentation," I said.
"I was trying to be thorough, I could shorten the report," Icheb said.
"That won't be necessary, You obviously know the subject matter, Congratulations Cadet, you have just passed early Starfleet history," I said.

"I would've failed him," Someone said. "Kirk may have been a lowly human, but at least he had pizzazz, That report made him sound about as exciting as a Vulcan funeral dirge,"

"Tom, Get us out of here, Now," I said.
"I can't Warp drive's offline," Tom said.
"We're venting plasma," Chakotay said.
"Reroute power to aft shields and return fire, Hit them with everything we've got," I said.

"We've defeated the Borg Before, We'll do it again," I said got a phaser.

As we got hit.
"Weapons are offline," Tuvok said.
"I'm losing thrusters," Tom said.

Then Everything changed. And we weren't at Red Alert. As Q showed up.
"We were just getting to the good part," Q2 said.

As I headed down there and no one was home as I went and got the bath filled up. As I got out of my uniform, as well as my catsuit and underclothing. Before getting into the nice warm water. As I laid back and relax which only lasted almost 10 minutes as Q showed up.

"Your brilliant plan didn't work, I smothered the boy with attention, Spent every waking moment with him, but things only got worse," Q said.

"I told him he could shift as many continents as he liked, as long as no one got hurt," Q said.
"You're not going to do your son any favours by indulging him, You need to make him understand that there are consequences for his actions," I said.

"I think that's long enough," Q said. As he brought out his son.

"Sounds unpleasant," Q said. "I'm sure you'll do whatever you can to avoid returning to that petri dish,"

After a few minutes. I headed down to my quarters as I started setting everything up. Before I went and got out of my Uniform so I was just in my purple catsuit before headed back out to the brand new kitchen. Where I had gotten it all ready and put it on. As It was almost ready the door open as 7 came in.
"Am I here on time," 7 said.
"It's almost ready," I said. As I went over and kissed her. As She kissed me back.

"Well it is comfortably," I said. As We headed over just as I saw it was ready. "Talk about timing. It's ready," As I started to dish it out. As 7 headed over to the table as I pushed her in. Before Grabbing the plates and set them down before I kissed 7 again. As we started to eat it.
"Wow. Definitely the same," 7 said.
"Told you so," I said.
As we kept on eating. But once we finished.
"I never though I would taste that again," 7 said.

After I got it all tided up, Both 7 and I ended up on the sofa.
"I've missed this," I said.

We stay on the sofa snuggled into each other until Chloe and Clara Came home and went to bed before we went to ours and fell asleep in each others arms.

"The Delta Flyer is powering up," Harry said.

"I can't the Flyer's shields are up," Harry said.
As we rumbled. As the Klaxons went Red.
"They just blew the Shuttlebay doors," Tom said.
"Tractor Beam," I said.
"Got them," Harry said.
"Pulled them back to the bay," I said.
"They're opening some sort of Spatial rift off their port Bow," Harry said.
"It's disrupting the tractor beam," Tuvok said.
"Compensate," I said.
"It's too late we're lost the Tractor lock," Harry said. "They're heading for the rift,"
"Get another Tractor beam on them," I said.
"I can't the Rift is jamming our sensors I can't get a lock," Harry said.
"They're gone," Tuvok said.
"Bridge to Astrometrics," I said.

"7 any idea what that rift was," I said.
"I have nothing yet, I'm already analyzing the sensors logs but it will take time," 7 said.

"I'm detecting another rift forming, Approximately 5,000 kilometers directly ahead, A vessel is emerging," Tuvok said.
"It's the flyer," Harry said. "They're hailing,"

"Oh before I leave, I did a little homework for you," Q said. "Consider it a thank you for everything you did for Junior,"
"Not that I don't appreciate it, but this will only take a few years off our journey, why not send us all the way," I said.
