I took Minako to the quirk doctor, she was very anxious about going for some odd reason. Once we entered and started the examination, she was more scared and odd. The doctor finished assessing her and brought me the news, surprising me.
"I'm sorry to say, but she's quirkless," The doctor says.
"Poor Minako, I never knew," I say, holding her in my arms.
"You won't give me away just because I'm quirkless right?" She says worriedly.
"I would never give you up, you're too precious for this world."
I understand now, she was happy that I was happy to still have her. We left to go back to my small house, and while walking I had a thought in mind.
"Wait a moment Minako," I say, both of us stop during a setting sun and on the street,
She turns to look at me, this position that we were in was the exact moment that I was. Being gifted by Queen Kimoto, and now I stand in her position. I take a breath, as I bend down to her level, thinking about how to phrase my words for a bit.
"Minako, I want to give you something that I want you to take," I say, using my powers to create an energy of light.
"This right here is the Knight's Vow. I give those who deserve it the powers like mine. However, only the purest can take it and wield it to make their own. As your father, I want the best for you. Will you accept?" I asked, my words exactly like Queen Kimoto said to me.
"Yes I will, thank you, dad," She absorbs the Knight's Vow, and we lock in on a hug.
She started to cry, I was about to cry too. At that exact moment, the memory that I had lost has come back to me. That day, and today. We started a new hope in the world, I can feel her power growing already. She'll be strong, but I'll have to guide her powers. Hopefully, this is enough to make Queen Kimoto happy.
-Years Later-
I was at my archeological site, I was investigating more of the headquarters room that was revealed. Looking at the old maps as well as some of the soldiers' logs in here, there were some things I wasn't sure of. What or who created the Northern Army, and why would they attack us? I wasn't sure, but it was nearly time to clock out at 2:25. Then probably a bit of hero work, I should be able to arrive home at 4 this time. I feel bad for leaving Minako on her own, but she manages without me. She's grown quite a lot over the years, she has excellent grades and proper manners. I was expecting to at least have a childish side, but I presume she took my personality. I grab the satchel and say my goodbye to Ken. I take off and make it to my house without a sweat. I put my stuff away, it was Hero's work time. This life gets interesting day by day, after leaving my house and arriving in the city. An attempted assassination was put on me, how fitting. I didn't know until something scratched my armor, I turned to see a man with a knife. He was scared, seeing that it didn't do anything, and attempted to run.
"Light Whip," I say, lassoing him and dropping him off at the police station.
Wasn't a problem, I noticed the sound of explosions and rumbling. I run over in that direction in my speed form, seeing a giant villain rampaging the city. Hearing the people's cries for help, no other hero was here. I stood in front of the giant villain, and people recognized my help.
"It's Endure, the Crypt Knight!" One yelled, everyone, looking back to see how I stood against this giant villain.
The villain swings, and I speed past the attack to go closer to him. He swings his leg next, me jumping and changing my form to airborne mode. I was able to fly in the air and I dive for his head. Charging a light punch to the face, knocking him back a bit. He tanked my attack head-on, and he swung at me.
"Shield!" I yell, blocking the attack and now pushing toward the ground.
I hold the giant's villain fist onto my shield, grunting a bit from trying to not injure him badly. I changed forms to be heavier and tanky, I slowly pushed forward with the strength of tons against me. If I were to go all out against a weakling, I would destroy the city. I hold back as much as I can, getting a plan and twirling around his fist. Changing forms and flying into the air, above him. I charge up my fist with a bit more force, this time imbued with my energy. Hitting him on the forehead, and smashing him into the ground. A light beam lights the sky, and then fades as I have defeated the giant human. Unscathed too, I didn't expect him to match my power adequately. The crowd cheers at my remark, and the huge man is knocked out cold. The police force came by to see how I dealt with the situation, thanking me for the help. I bowed, and someone approached me. It was my daughter, Minako. She watched the whole thing, while the police dealt with restraining the giant man.
"Good afternoon father," She says, holding some books in her arm.
"Well hello Minako, I presume you watched the whole fight?" I say, she nods her head.
"Yes, it was amazing to watch."
"Thank you, let's go back home. I'm sure the last day of Highschool Senior must be a dream come true," I say, we both walk back to the house while we talk.
"Honestly, I do kinda miss my high school."
"Really, well now."
"Um, hey father can I ask you something?"
"Yes, go right ahead."
"So, I want to enroll in U.A College. And I want you to train me for the Recommendation Exam."
"Oh yes, I don't see a problem at all. It is close to the house I'll be honest, but are you prepared to become a hero?"
"Most certainly, I wanted to be like you as a child."
"Alright, we'll start tomorrow." This grew a smile on my face, as her father, I want what's best for her.
Although she can have independence, she chooses to stay with what I tell her. The Exam starts in November, and right now it's March. So that makes 8 months to train her, that's plenty of time. I had to train for under a month and I became the strongest, so the next day rolled by for our training to start.
