18. Hope

I honestly didn't expect so many people to want to see the story remain on FanFiction. It kind of surprised me given how much time has passed and it also makes me feel bad as well. Devil Tail is so appreciated by so many, and I haven't treated you guys fairly. Focusing more on other stories, starting new ones and just pushing Devil Tail more and more into the corner. And then after so much time saying that I'm gonna take it down and replace it.

I'm really sorry. That being said, I'll leave it up, and if someone wants to continue this story themselves, they are more than welcome to continue where I left off.

However, I want to stress something about adopting this story.

I've let people adopt some of my stories in the past and all of them said they would continue my stories. Only to not do that. Instead they let the stories die. So, I ask anyone who wants to adopt this story to please be serious about this. A lot of people really like this story and it deserves to be written. I might be burnt out, but that isn't to say other people can't take up the torch.

As a reviewer said, I may have lost hope in myself to continue this story, the story itself has hope to be continued by another. So, I really honestly ask that whoever wants to continue this story to be serious about picking up where I left off.

Seriously, don't let me or the readers down and just let the story die. Don't do what I did. Don't let this story die. It deserves better and it deserves to stay on FanFiction. So anyone who wants to continue Devil Tail should send me a Private Message. I will also be making periodic visits and make sure whoever does adopt the story actually follows through.
