Aqua sneezed loudly as she lay in bed under two blankets.

- Bless you. Everest said, coming in with a tray, carrying a bowl of soup.

He carefully placed it on the cupboard next to the bed before sitting on the edge of it next to her.

She gave him a soft smile and tried to sit up. She just didn't have the strength to do it.

He gently helped her sit up straight, placing a few pillows behind her for her to lean against. He picked up the bowl and began to feed it. Spoon after spoon the soup was gone.

She complained a little.

- How are you healthy?... she coughed... I'm sorry ... I mean ... I'm glad it's alright, but you were there with me and yet you didn't catch anything.

He crawled onto the bed, took all the pillows behind her, and lay down so she could rest her back and head against his body.

- I was living in a bloody winter taiga. Getting cold and getting wet was my daily routine.

She leaned back and coughed again.

- Maybe…

He felt her temperature. She was hot.

- Your fever is still there. I'm glad it doesn't get any worse.

She shifted and lay on her right side. Her head is resting on his belly.

- You don't have to sit here, you know? Although I like it… You have something more important to do, right?

Everest frowned and gently placed his left paw on her left side.

- There is something very important, yes.

She was quiet for a long time in which, she just caressed her side.

- So why are you still here? she asked. He laughed again.

- Because it is very important here.

Her ears twitched as she looked at him.

- Nothing is more important to me than you.

She smiled softly again and snuggled closer to him.

- Who needs sweets when I got you? she giggled, closing her eyes.

- Exactly. he smiled as he watched her as he slowly fell asleep.

He placed a gentle kiss on one of her ears.

- Sweet dreams ... Then he sat up, caressing her side and watching over her.
