Chase woke up and stretched well.

He was feeling weird this morning. Good in the sense that he felt happy.

He didn't know why, he just knew. It was as if a warm embrace was flowing through him.

He jumped out of bed and decided to go to breakfast. He whistled as he walked past doghouse that led to a room at the bottom of the base.

The door in front of us opened and Zuma came out. She stretched and then saw Chase walking towards her.

He didn't know why, but he smiled at her. And she didn't know why, but she smiled at him.

- Good day. he said at last, feeling his heart beat faster.

- Good day. she said shyly.

She woke up feeling better than normal.

This morning there was this strange, joyful, happy feeling.

She actually chuckled when she yawned.

- So you wanna come to breakfast with me? he asked timidly, looking down at the ground.

- Uh ... okay ... she said shyly and played with her paws ... unless you're mad at me.

- Why should I be angry with you? Chase asked.

- Well, we argued yesterday, she said sadly.

- Oh yeah, about that ... Chase said, scratching nervously on the back of the head ... I'm sorry.

- No, I'm sorry ... she said looking at the ground ... She shouldn't be so mean to you. And you are not preoccupied with yourself.

- What? He asked .

- Well, yesterday I said you were too obsessed with yourself to notice anything else ... she said, still looking down ... but that's not true. Sorry.

- Well I'm sorry too ... Chase said ... Sorry I said you had a big ass

Zuma quickly looked up.

- You ... you said my ass was big? she asked, hurt.

- Uh, well, yeah, but I didn't mean that ... Chase said quickly knowing that he made Zuma feel bad ... I was just mad at you. I really don't think you are fat or anything. Actually, I think you have a really nice body.

The moment he lowered his mouth, he felt the blood rush to his cheeks and his heart speed up.

Zuma felt her cheeks flush and bit her lip, trying not to smile. Can dogs even blush?

- Oh… well, thank you… she said, unable to make eye contact with him. She knew he felt very embarrassed saying this, and she couldn't stop smiling. Finally she looked at him and said ... So you want to go to breakfast or what?

- Okay. he said, still feeling frustrated.

Zuma closed the door and they went together to the common room.

- Um, can you pass me a napkin? Zuma asked Chase.

- Sure ... he said quickly, grabbing one and handing them ... But I don't think you need it, you're always so neat. As he handed her the napkin, their noses touched, and a shock was sent through their systems.

- I'm not that neat. she giggled zuma and looked away as she had a napkin in her paw.

- It's not a bad thing ... Chase said smiling ... Hell, I'd like to be as neat as you are.

- Are you doing? ... she asked with a smile ... Well, maybe someday I'll teach you. She blinked her eyes, not knowing it, and wiped her mouth with a napkin.

- I wish ... Chase said looking at her with soft eyes that made Zuma almost melt.

- If you want we can go to your doghouse after breakfast and I'll show you how to arrange it ... she said, pretending to eat but only moved the food around the Bowl ... I mean, if that's alright.

- Yes, that sounds great ... Chase said ... Well, I'm done.

- Me too. she said and got up quickly.

The two quickly headed for Chase's doghouse.

Everyone else could have sworn they heard them both laughing and giggling as they ran away.

From time to time, the rest passed by doghouse and heard the screams, laughter and random thuds.
