Seeing sick and dying Digimon always broke Sora's heart. Whilst she was aware that Digimon are reborn within the Digital World, it didn't make their suffering any more bearable.
So why was she working as a doctor's receptionist in Jo's new Digimon clinic?
Is it because of their deep emotional connection?
Is it because she believes in the cause: her desire to help Digimon overriding her sadness when seeing them suffer?
Or perhaps it's because she's certain that the nurse working with Jo has the hots for him and would seduce him if she wasn't there?
