Selfish?
After learning about the first battle against Diaboromon, Sora felt selfish for abandoning her allies out of nothing but resentment for a questionable gift. Her guilt made her stay away from the group.
Jo noticed. He asked. She explained. In response, Jo explained that he was no better: he was taking a test. Sora dismissed the comparison, Jo was working towards his future.
A bitter chuckle escaped Jo's mouth. He had performed horrible, it had been a waste of time.
As much as she did not want to, Sora laughed.
Despite being the punchline, Jo was glad to hear it.
