Chapter 159

Michelle's True Face

WILLY'S POV

After taking another long trip on the train, I finally arrived at Clover Town. It was a pretty small place close to the mountains, and had a forest also surrounded it. I've also heard from Fairy Tail members that the masters from numerous guilds sometimes came here to discuss things about their guilds. Not only that, but in the past, a powerful demon from the book of Zeref named Lullaby rampaged here once, before Natsu and the others took it down.

When I departed the train, I surveyed my surroundings. The air also smelled fresh, like I was close to the sea. It made me feel that I was back in the town where we had to capture Geese for his bounty. However, this wasn't the time to reminisce. I looked around, trying to see if there was a body of water close by. Then I came to a particular building that was tall, amber-brown, and looked like a castle of sorts. Beside it, was a small river that ran along beside it. '

I walked over to it and then dipped my hand into the water while closing my eyes. Then, I used my Aqua Sense spell. In my mind, I could see the river flowing alongside the town, eventually reaching the other part of the forest, until it led to a large body of water.

"Perfect. All I need to do now is follow it until it leads me to the lake. This part of the river is a bit shallow, so I'll have to walk, then I should be able to swim for the rest of the way."

I walked along, following the river until it led me outside of Clover. There was nothing but trees as far as I could see, with only a few birds and animals here and there. A few of the animals were a bit curious seeing me, while others ran away with fright, not being used to humans. However, I tried not to pay any mind as I continued on my mission. I soon noticed that the river had grown a bit wider and deeper as a strong smell wafted into my nose.

Then, I saw it. Just ahead of me was the large lake that surrounded the town. It was pretty big and spacious, almost like the ocean, and the atmosphere felt pleasant. I looked around, making sure that there was no one around, then I took off my mask, so I could see where I was going when I swam. Then, I dove into the water. It was a bit cold at first, but I didn't mind it, as I pumped my legs and forged ahead.

The lake was a bit more spacious than I thought as I made my way. There were lots of fishes roaming around and a few other creatures as well. This would be a pretty ideal fishing place if I ever decided to come here again. I only wished that I could be here under different circumstances. I had been swimming for quite a while until I noticed an opening just ahead of me that was a bit narrow, which led me to believe that was the entrance to the river. I swam towards it, and the water grew shallow. I went upward I jumped out of the water onto dry land, and then put my mask back on.

"I should be around the area where that church should be. All I need to do is locate it."

I placed my hand on the ground and used my Aqua Sense again, trying to find any signs of life or anything suspicious. In my head, I could see the various animals that lived in the forest, but nothing else thus far. Then, I felt a strong surge of magic power that appeared to be coming from the right, some yards away from my location.

"That must be where the church is! And from the looks of things, it sounds like someone's already arrived!"

Not wanting to waste any time, I shot into the trees and hopped from one branch to another, dashing as fast as I could while maintaining stealth. As I jumped through the trees, I heard the sound of a loud and familiar yell, followed by a loud explosion.

I soon came to a clearing and stopped in one of the trees, peering through the leaves. Sure enough, I could see the church just up ahead, but that's not all I saw. I also saw the source of all the noise. Natsu and Elfman were fighting against the bear creature of the Oración Seis, while Lucy and Michelle watched from a few feet away, and Byro watched on from on top of a cliff.

"Looks like I got here a bit too late. Natsu and the others seem to have beaten me to the punch. But what's with this team on Natsu's side? It looks so random. Then again, that bear guy from the Oración Seis and Byro being a team is a strange alliance in of itself. And I don't see any sign of the other members, which means that I've got an opportunity on my hands. However, I'm going to have to wait until the battle finishes for me to pull off my plan. Let's hope that Natsu and the others don't lose to those guys."

NO POV

Natsu, Lucy, Elfman, and Michelle managed to make it to the church as per Cana's divination. However, when they got there, they quickly found out that Byro of the Legion Platoon, and Jackpot of the Oración Seis had been waiting for them. Natsu and Elfman were quick to charge in, gunning straight for Jackpot, the fire dragon slayer unleashing a breath attack from his mouth, and the male Strauss member using his Beast Arm: Black Bull, ready to punch.

However, Jackpot defended himself by using a strange type of magic called Slot Magic. He pulled the lever on his side, and the reels spun rapidly until they stopped all three, showing a popsicle symbol. Right then, a giant popsicle materialized from the air and hit the ground, intercepting Natsu's Fire Dragon Roar, which upon contact immediately melted, created a heavy mist. Elfman couldn't see and ended up smacking Natsu square on the head, much to his annoyance due to the mist.

"What's the big idea?!" Natsu snapped. "You're supposed to punch him, not me!"

"Whoops! My bad!" apologized Elfman.

"Guys, calm down! We can't beat him like this!" chided Lucy. "We need to work together to beat this guy with teamwork!" She then took out one of her Zodiac keys and gave it a wave, and in a flash of light, one of her spirits came forth. The spirit was a man with a blue striped shirt with black pants, tanned skin, and hair braided cornrows resembling pincers. He also wielded a pair of scissors. "All right, Cancer! Mind lending us a hand?"

"I'm on it, baby!" acknowledged Cancer. "Just leave it to me!"

Natsu, Elfman, and Cancer then charged at Jackpot, Elfman ready to punch again, Cancer snipping with his scissors, and Natsu preparing to unleash a Fire Dragon Wing Attack. But once again, Jackpot pulled his lever, and with a roll of reels, they all revealed a picture of an iron steel wall.

"Oh, yeah! I'm really on a lucky streak today!" Jackpot crowed. "Let's see how you fare against my Steel Walls!"

At his command, steel walls came falling from the sky, and hit the ground surrounding the three and trapping them inside. Because of the steel walls intercepting Natsu before he could finish his spell, the spell backfired, causing Natsu's fire to burn not only him, but Elfman and Cancer as well.

"Natsu! What's the big idea?!" yelled a smoking Elfman.

"Are you trying to cook us or something?!" a frizzled Cancer also yelled.

"It's not my fault!" Natsu shot back.

As the steel walls disappeared, setting them free, Elfman then noticed that Cancer was staring at him intently, which made him defensive and angry.

"What are you staring at?!" Elfman barked. "You keep looking at me like that, and I'll have to bash your face in!"

"S-Sorry, baby! I want to cut your hair!" said Cancer. "Your hair looks like it could use a trim!"

"Would you two stop screwing around and help me?!" Natsu snapped. "Here I am trying to kick this guy's butt, and you're all talking about hairstyles?!"

The three then started to argue, much to Michelle's surprise and Lucy's disdain.

"Well, that didn't work out at all, did it?" commented Michelle. "They don't really make a good match of a team, do they?"

"I know, but Cana created this team using her Divination Magic," said Lucy. "They're supposed to be a good match for each other and their destinations, so she's usually right on about these kinds of things."

Jackpot pulled on his lever for the third time, and this time, his slots revealed a bolt of lightning on each of them. "Looks like I got a lightning bonus!" he cried wildly. "So, have some lightning!"

A strong crackle of lightning came shooting down from the sky, striking at the ground with a mighty clap. Natsu, Elfman, and Cancer jumped out of the way to avoid it, while the force of it blew Lucy and Michelle back as they hit the ground.

"Have you had enough, or do you want some more?!" Jackpot taunted. "You haven't seen how powerful my Slot Magic is, so if you want to keep your losing streak up, then come on! Let's play some more! I can't wait to see how rotten your luck can get!"

"Oh, shut up!" Natsu barked. "I'm getting really sick of you yapping!"

"We have to figure out a plan of attack," grunted Elfman. "Otherwise, we'll never be able to beat this guy!"

"I've got a plan, and it's a great one!" Natsu growled. "And it's the only plan we both know!"

Natsu and Elfman then faced Jackpot again and then charged at him.

"WE KICK HIS BUTT!" Elfman and Natsu roared.

"That's not going to work, you idiots!" Lucy snapped shrilly.

Jackpot activated his Slot Magic, making his reels each show a large brown ball of wool, and then larger balls of brown wool came raining down from the sky, encasing Natsu and his party inside it. However, Cancer knew just what to do. With a quick swipe of his scissors, Cancer cut through the wool, setting himself and everyone else free. However, Jackpot was quick to retaliate as he summoned forth an array of large washtubs, forcing everyone else to dodge once again. Then, it began to rain, which started as a drizzle until it turned into a downpour.

Lucy then had an idea. "Cancer! I'm going to close your gate!" she told her spirit. "Why don't you take a break?"

"No problem, baby," said Cancer. "I'll try to do better best time!"

And with a flash of light, Cancer retreated to the Celestial World. Lucy then took out another key, and dipped the end of it into a puddle.

"OPEN! GATE OF THE WATER BEARER, AQUARIUS!"

Upon her command, a huge spout of water erupted and from that spout emerged Aquarius, another one of Lucy's spirits. However, Aquarius was not happy, as she got up in Lucy's face, scowling angrily.

"You better have a good reason for summoning me!" Aquarius snapped crossly. "And how many times do I have to tell you not to summon me from some puddle on the ground?! You're must be looking for a good reason to reap you a new one, missy!"

"Y-Yeah, sorry about that!" Lucy gulped nervously. Then she quickly snapped out of her fear as she pointed at Jackpot. "But if you're looking for someone to blame, it's that creepy robot teddy bear's fault!" she snapped back. "So quit threatening me and do something about that silly old bear!"

Aquarius then looked at Jackpot and snickered. "You know, you always seem to summon me whenever you're having a crisis you can't handle, and when I'm on a date. Got an inferiority complex, or are you jealous?"

"That's not true, and you know it!" Lucy said indignantly.

"Well, since I'm here, let's get this over with!" the mermaid spirit said as she aimed with her urn. "Have a taste of my Bubble Shot!"

A powerful torrent of bubbles erupted from her urn, but as she did, Natsu and Elfman dashed towards Jackpot, both of them wanting to get a lick in. But Jackpot using his Slot Magic once again countered, his reels revealing pictures of u-turn arrows, causing Aquarius' Bubble Shot to redirect towards them instead. The bubbles hit Natsu hard, sending him crashing into Elfman, and then two went crashing into Aquarius, knocking all three of them to the ground in a heap.

"Wow! What a hot payoff!" cackled Jackpot. "Just goes to show that the house always wins!"

"What the hell, Elfman?!" Natsu barked. "Why are you getting in my way?!"

"Me?! You're the one that's getting in my way!" Elfman shot back.

Aquarius then clonked Natsu and Elfman on their heads with her urn. "Would both of you shut up?!" she snapped."You're both ticking me off!"

"Come on, you guys! Can't the three of you work together?!" Lucy complained. "This isn't the time to be fighting!"

"They're completely out of sync, and can't seem to work together at all," sighed Michelle. "I'm starting to think that Cana might have made a mistake with her divinations!"

As much as she hated to admit it, Lucy had to agree. "Yeah. Cana's fortune-telling backfired on us," she said. "But how could she have messed up? Cana's never been wrong!"

Aquarius then got up, clearly having enough nonsense. "That's it, I'm out of here!" she said. "If anyone needs me, I'll be getting back to my boyfriend, Scorpio." She glared menacingly at Lucy. "So, don't even dare to summon me, or else! Got that?!"

Aquarius then disappeared.

"Damn, it all! I'm so pissed now!" Natsu roared with fury. "Why the hell is it so hit a talking slot machine?! Wy don't you quit using that crappy magic and fight us head-on, you coward?!"

"Natsu, hold on a minute!" Lucy cried. "We need to stop charging in and think this through!"

"Manly Attack!" Elfman roared, as he switched his Beast Arm: Black Bull to Iron Bull.

Both men, for the umpteenth time, charged at Jackpot, not listening. Jackpot then summoned a bolt of lightning, which electrified and shocked the two with a powerful boom, causing hefty damage. Then, Jackpot used his magic to make his reels show pictures of boxing gloves. Numerous large blue boxing gloves materialized all around the two and relentlessly and rapidly pounded them, until one more glove sent them flying with a finishing, devastating punch.

Elfman fell to the ground with a thud, unconscious and out of the fight, while Natsu managed to regain himself, landing on his feet, and skidding to a stop.

"Well, it looks like you're still raring to go," commented Jackpot. "I would have thought my last attack finished you off."

"Sorry, Freak Show, but I'm still standing!" Natsu spoke with confidence. "And I'm going to keep on fighting until you and that Octo Geezer go down!"

"Natsu, wait a minute!" Lucy cried. "I think that Cana's fortune-telling was wrong about our team! We need to regroup and think of a plan!"

"Who cares about backfire! I've got some front fire, and I can't wait to use it!" Natsu barked. "Besides, even if we wanted to leave, it's not like Octo Geezer, and that lousy bear isn't going to give us a chance! And either way, we still got to take these chumps down! Once we do, we'll make them tell us where the Infinity Clock is, and Willy, too! You with me, Luce?!"

Lucy then smiled. "You're right," she said with enthusiasm. "Whenever Cana divinations were right or wrong, it doesn't change the fact that we have to take these guys down!"

"Now, you're talking!" Natsu smirked. "Let's get 'em, Lucy!"

Lucy gave Natsu a nod, and then she turned back to Michelle. "Just make sure you stay back," she warned her. "I'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe!"

Michelle didn't answer. She simply stood there being quiet, not saying a word. But then, as Natsu and Lucy prepared to fight against Jackpot, they suddenly heard a commotion that came from the church. In the distance where they saw the church, a large squad of soldiers marched straight towards it.

"Those are soldiers from the Magic Council!" pointed out Lucy. "And they're heading for the church!"

"Oh, man! Things are happening so fast now!" said Natsu. "What the heck is going on?!"

Jackpot then gasped. "Oops! I just remembered!" he said. "I was having so much fun playing with you, that I completely forgot about my mission! Sorry, got to run!"

And with a hop, skip, and jump, Jackpot gunned straight towards the church, much to Natsu and Lucy's shock. Then, before the soldiers had a chance to react, Jackpot activated his Slot Magic, his reels showing bombs pictures. Immediately, the church exploded, destroying it and wiping out the forces beside it.

"He attacked the church?!" Lucy exclaimed. "But why?!"

Byro, who had been watching and keeping silent throughout this battle, was shocked as well, and also furious, as he dashed straight towards Jackpot. "This is reprehensible, Jackpot!" he roared. "Curse you!"

He leaped into the air while aiming his staff, charging a great deal of magic power, and then unleashed a magic arrow from it. Jackpot jumped backward, getting out of the way, and as he did, he summoned a strange object that hovered just in front of him. It was a small red dagger that appeared to be made of crystal.

"All righty, then! It's Anti Link time!" Jackpot crowed. "Let's get this party started!"

With a wave of his hand, the dagger was sent shooting into the air, heading straight inside the now-destroyed church. A strong, bright, red light shone from the inside, followed by a scream coming from it.

"What did you just do?!" demanded Byro. "And this wasn't part of our deal!"

"Now, now, Byro. There's no need for you to get worried over things that don't concern you," cackled Jackpot. "All you need to do is focus on your mission like a good little boy. Besides, as you recall, our little deal only applies to the Archbishop, so what I'm doing doesn't apply, nor does it have anything to do with you."

Natsu then came down from above, his fist blazing, ready to plant it right into Jackpot's face. Jackpot seeing him coming, used his Slot Magic once more, attempting to hit the fire dragon slayer with lightning. But this time, Byro intervened by using his Nullification Magic to stop the mechanical bear's assault, allowing Natsu to deck him square in the face, finally scoring a hit.

"B-Byro?! What are you doing?!" demanded Jackpot as he staggered.

"You will suffer the consequences for your sinful destruction!" said Byro. "So, take your punishment and repent!"

Before Jackpot could even try to get back at Byro, Natsu attacked again.

"FIRE DRAGON TALON!"

He landed another hit with a fiery kick of his leg, smashing the reels on Jackpot's chest, shattering them entirely.

Jackpot was horrified as well defenseless. "Look what you've done! How am I supposed to use my Slot Magic now?!" he cried. "You've robbed me of who I am!"

"All right! You finally got a hit on him!" Lucy yelled happily. "Now, finish him off, Natsu!"

"That's the idea!" Natsu smirked. "I hope you're ready, you hunk of tin, because it's payback time!"

The fire dragon slayer leaped into the air, and unleashed a powerful torrent of flames from each of his hands, using Fire Dragon Wing attack to blow the bear away. Then, he took a deep breath and unleashed a powerful Fire Dragon Roar filled with vengeance, the attack incinerating Jackpot with its flames, and knocking him out cold.

"All right! I finally beat that lousy bear!" Natsu crowed. "In your face, sucker!"

Lucy felt happy that Natsu had won, but she felt confused because of what Byro said and his actions. She was about to question Byro, but then, a strange, dark, and unsettling feeling entered her stomach, which made her fall to her knees as she began to tremble.

Michelle quickly rushed to her side. "Big Sister! What's wrong?!" she asked worriedly.

"Something's wrong. I've got a terrible feeling all of a sudden," Lucy spoke tentatively. "I don't know what it is, but it's bad."

"Don't worry, Big Sister," reassured Michelle. "I'm right here with you, and I'll be here no matter what."

At that moment, there was the sound of a loud series of gongs that echoed throughout the landscape. The clouds above the sky had also taken a dark and sinister color of red and purple as thunder crackled, and the rain stopped. Then, several giant gold chains with spikes resembling the symbol of Zentopia on their ends came raining down from the sky, scattering around various locations and piercing the ground. Those chains were connected to a large and gargantuan metal and stone object that floated high above in the sky. The object was large, gold, and resembled a fish, with piercing marigold eyes.

"Oh, man! What's going on now?!" Natsu cried in shock. "And what the hell is that thing?!"

"It would seem that the worst outcome has come true," murmured Byro. "The Infinity Clock has been activated."

"Oh, no! That means we're too late!" cried Lucy as she shot up to her feet. "We've got to find a way to stop it! Byro, you can help us! After all, you've helped us beat Jackpot, and-"

"That was nothing more than a simple moment of weakness. Therefore, you are still my enemies," said Byro coldly. "However, I still have a mission to complete, and that is to take you to the Archbishop, Lucy Heartfilia, and you as well, Natsu Dragneel."

"Say what?!" Natsu exclaimed, feeling puzzled.

"What could he possibly want with the two of us?!" questioned Lucy. "And why now of all times?!"

"I don't fully understand it either," said Byro. "But it is my duty to follow orders, so I would appreciate it if you would cooperate."

"You're not taking us anywhere, Octo Geezer!" Natsu barked.

"Yeah, we could care less about your orders!" Lucy also snapped. "I understand you have your reasons for working with the Oracion Seis, and you're trying to do what's right, but deep down, even you have to realize that this isn't the time to be following orders! Come on, Byro! Forget about your mission and help us stop the Infinity Clock!"

Byro was now silent, unsure what to say or do, but then, a voice came from Jackpot's unconscious body.

"Byro, you're only making this harder on yourself by hesitating. You only need to stay faithful to your doctrine and fulfill your duty."

Everyone looked towards Jackpot, and saw that his body was shifting around, as if something was moving from inside of him. Then, a zipper was undone from his chest, and from inside, a familiar face came out or rather a familiar object. A skull on top of a wooden staff with a crystal ball in his mouth with a headdress of feathers on top of its head.

"Not that thing again!" cried Lucy.

"It's that creepy talking stick!" Natsu growled.

"So you remember me, eh? I'm flattered," the stick said. "But just as a reminder, and seeing how much I love dramatic entrances, allow me to introduce myself again. I am the eighth member of the Oracion Seis as well as one of the brains for this operation, Klodoa."

"Hold on a minute. The eighth?" repeated Lucy. "What do you mean by that? Last time I checked, there were seven members plus you, so aren't you missing a member?"

"Well, I suppose there's no point in hiding truth any longer," said Klodoa. He then fixed his gaze at a particular someone. "The time has come to reveal yourself, now that the Infinity Clock has been activated! Shed that disguise you've been hiding behind and reveal to your so-called friends your true face!"

Natsu and Lucy then looked behind them and saw that Klodoa addressed someone they least suspected to be an enemy.

Michelle.

"What are you talking about?! That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard!" Lucy spoke indignantly. "You're just trying to confuse us! That girl is Michelle Lobster, a girl that's traveled all over to find me, and give me the memento my dad left behind! She's like a little sister to me, and is the only family I have left!"

But Michelle remained eerily silent, not saying a word. Lucy then went over to Michelle and held her by the shoulders, comforting her.

"Don't worry. I won't fall for any of his tricks!" Lucy said. "I know better than to believe anything that stupid stick has to say!"

Then, Michelle gently pushed Lucy away from her at an arm's length, as tears silently began to fall from her eyes. "I'm so sorry, Big Sister," she sobbed quietly.

The girl exploded in a malevolent violet glow, transforming much to Natsu's and Lucy's disbelief. From where Michelle stood, another person took her place. She wore a strapless shirt with a short wide skirt, gloves that went up to her forearms, pouch-like boots, and vines that wrapped around her legs and her left arm, all of which were dark green in color, and covering her right eye was a dark red rose that served as an eyepatch. Her skin was paler in color, and unlike before, she now wore a completely emotionless and uncaring face.

Natsu was shocked, while Lucy was more heartbroken.

"I am not Michelle. I am a member of the Oracion Seis. My real name is Imitatia, the Misteress of Deception," the woman said. "We needed you and your friends for our plans by collecting the clock pieces and assembling them, so that is why I took the guise of Michelle Lobster. It was the only way I could gain your trust. And thanks to you and your friends, you've allowed us to proceed to the next phase of our plans. By attacking the churches, and destroying the network of body links to the Infinity Clock's seal, it has now been released. Now that that's been achieved, we're now ready to proceed to the final phase, and for that, we need you and your friend, Big Sister Lucy."

Lucy was now crying. "H-How could you do this? I treated you like family. You were like a little sister to me." she spoke. "This has to be a trick! A spell or something is controlling you!"

"So, you were lying to us this whole time, Michelle?!" Natsu spoke angrily.

"We're willing to do whatever it takes to achieve our goal," said Imitatia. "And my name isn't Michelle. I told you it's Imitatia."

Having enough, Natsu let out a roar as he charged at Imitatia with a fiery fist filled with anger, while she summoned a strange shield with blades reminiscent of a flower and prepared to fight. But as he was about to swing, Lucy then screamed.

"Natsu, please, stop!"

Natsu then stopped, his fist just inches away from Imitatia's face. Taking advantage of the opening, the petals of Michelle's shield began to spin, and with a mighty and swift swing, while being connected to a vine, Michelle bashed Natsu knocking him out cold in seconds.

"Wow! A critical hit right off that bat!" Klodoa cheered. "Well done, my girl!"

Imitatia then looked across to Byro, who had been remaining silent throughout this whole ordeal. "Byro, finish the task that Lapointe gave you, or did you forget already?" she ordered. "Take Lucy Heartfilia and Natsu Dragneel to him at once."

"You are in no position to tell me what to do!" Byro shot back. "My loyalty lies with the church of Zentopia!"

Then, Imitatia threw an object right into Byro's face, nailing him right in the eye. It was a large gold seal bearing the symbol of Zentopia. When Byro saw it, he knew immediately what it was.

"That's the gold seal belonging to the Archbishop!" Byro gasped. "Where did you get that?!"

"That doesn't really matter, now does it?" Klodoa cackled. "All you should know is that whoever has that seal, wields the same authority as the Archbishop himself."

"In other words, his orders, as well as mine, are one in the same," said Imitatia. "So you have to obey my orders, unless your loyalty is nothing but a lie."

Byro then kneeled, conceding. "Very well, then," he said bitterly. "As you wish."

Then, he pulled out a strange octopus-like creature in his pocket and threw it into the air. The octopus grew in size immediately until it towered above everyone in the area.

Klodoa looked at Natsu, poking him on the side. "I still don't understand why we have to keep these fools alive," he said. "I say we should go ahead and kill them now. After all, showing mercy to our enemies is frowned upon."

"You know as well as I that we have to take them with us alive, Klodoa," said Imitatia. "It's a part of Brain's plan, and they'll prove to be useful hostages."

Imitatia then took out a long sword from behind her shield with a wide blade and rose motif, returning her attention to Lucy.

"Please, Michelle! You don't have to do this!" begged Lucy, still trying to reason with her. "Just talk to me!"

Imitatia responded by striking Lucy in the stomach with the backside of her sword, hard, making the blonde fall unconscious into her arm. Imitatia then hoisted Lucy up on her shoulder and then walked towards Byro, who carried Natsu, and they both hopped on the octopus creature's head. The octopus creature then took to the air towards the large fish-like structure, flexing its tentacles. Klodoa was about to follow suit, but something was bothering him, causing him to look back.

"That's odd," the stick murmured thoughtfully. "I thought that there was supposed to be three of those Fairy Tail wizards here. Did he escape? No matter. We got what we came for. It's only a matter of time before he gets here, so I suppose there's nothing to worry about."

As Klodoa went away, he had yet to realize that his suspicions were correct. Elfman had been hiding behind a large boulder the whole time, having seen and heard everything. Knowing that the guild had to know what was going on, Elfman pulled out a telepathy card given to him by Warren. But as he was about to contact him, he saw something as he peered out. Someone else had taken flight towards the fish-like structure. They wore a black outfit and a white mask, and were using a familiar pair of wings that had changed into a black color.
