"Alright, just stand still, and let the Ultimatrix do its work," Ben 10 commanded Perry the Platypus as he kneels down to his height. "Ultimatrix scan: complete. You know, I've never seen such an animal on my home planet."
Kevin cracks wise, "Yeah, so you're telling me you've never seen a platypus before?"
Ben snaps back, "well, excuse me for not keeping up with my null void biology."
"No, Ben's right. There's just no platypuses in our Earth...'" Gwen chimed in.
Ben looks back at the platypus and speaks, "Well, thanks for the directions, Perry. Now we can get out of this crater-"
"The crater YOU got us into if your omnimatrix didn't deactivate mid-flight'" Kevin quipped.
"Kevin's right. You should find an alternative source of energy or get it upgraded. It always seems to turn off right when we need it most," Gwen reasoned.
Ben grunts, "Hey, quit rubbing it in, miss Sorceress of Reason!' Now, as I was saying, those smoothies won't drink themselves!"
The gang walks away, leaving Perry behind. Perry snarls. Kevin notices and looks back at the marsupial and comments, "hey, I think he's trying to say something?"
Gwen's eyes lit pink. "Yes, he is. He wants to show us something."
"Oh, and what makes this Platypus important?" Ben asks.
"Some species have more power than most are led to believe. I just have a feeling he will help guide us to that alien…"
"Yeah what if he's wrong?" Kevin ponders.
Gwen replies in a soft voice, "Well we'll be no closer nor further from avenging Professor Paradox…" Then, Gwen kneels down to carry the platypus, but Perry stands up. He looks at Gwen's confused face and stares east. He dramatically points towards the evil building standing tall over the Tri-State Area, and Perry stands, waiting for Ben and Kevin to read his dramatic instructions.
"Uh, is this normal for a platypus?" Ben asks.
Kevin replies, "not any I've ever seen…"
"Come on guys, let's go…" Gwen commands the gang to follow that crazy platypus...
