/==/ Chapter Four /==/

Glynda awoke tired, and emotionally drained. Her normal rather calm sleep broken with startled wakings. While she couldn't remember exactly why she kept waking up, she assumed it was due to the tension she was feeling. The choice before her was monumental for herself and Jaune. It was something Jasmine had told her to do years ago, but Glynda had been afraid, and balked at the suggestion; but now... she knew she had to bite the bullet so to speak. All that mattered was Jaune's safety and security. Her own comfort was secondary; yet still she was hesitant.

After getting showered and dressed, noticing that Jaune's door was still closed; signally that she was still asleep. Glynda retrieved her scroll and thumbed through her fairly extensive list of contacts. While many would just have their listings in alphabetical order, Glynda preferred her method of organization. While it was still alphabetical, it was by grouping, not individual name. Her thumb tapped a group labelled "Family". She scanned through the list of names and selected the one she was seeking. She waited seated on the couch, holding the scroll comfortably, but also allowing the camera to see her. It rang twice before being answered.

"Glynda!" the happy smiling mature face framed with a literal mane of golden blond hair; greeted the worn and tired Combat Professor. "You look like shit. What's wrong?"

"Been a stressful few days, and I'm not sleeping well."

"Is it Jaune? Is she acting out? Being unreasonable?"

"It's partly Jaune, but not her behaviour, though she did give a pole dancing show to a fellow student."

"Oh that's too delicious!" the other woman laughed, the sound almost musical.

"Jasmine what possessed you to allow her to take those classes?"

"I looked into them... and yes I'll admit it's a little raunchy, but it is great for promoting flexibility, and core strength. Did it get her an admirer? A date?"

"Yes, in a way. They're testing it out to see if there is something; at least that's what it sounded like when I spoke to her last night about it."

"I do hope it works out. She's had so few chances to really meet anyone with how things are in Ansel. Family name and all. But all that aside... what's bothering you Glyn?"

"It's Jaune... I think... I'm worried... I don't know."

"Glyn it's me. You can tell me anything, you know this. You are part of this family, and we have your back... always and forever. Arc's word."

"I'm worried... really worried. There is just so much going on with this situation, and it's hard on her. I see it."

"This was your suggestion Glyn... but IF it is too much for either of you... Nat and I will step in. You know we have the resources to keep her safe. With three sisters as Huntresses, plus the other things we can bring to bear if needed."

"I'm starting to feel it would have better for her to have stayed in Ansel, and learned to control this power. She would probably have been happier and more content."

"Then that's that. I'll start making the arrangements today."

"It's not that simple, Ozpin..."

"Fuck Ozpin."

"Jas!"

"Well you think that stuffy old coot is going to stand before my family's happiness and safety you have been away too long. If he tries raising a stink... he may find himself out of a job."

"Jas, you can't!"

"Fuck you I can't! I see the wear and tear on you Glyn... and if you're in that type of shape it's time for you and Jaune to BOTH come home. Screw Beacon, and anything else. Family first... and that statement has ALWAYS included you."

"She still needs training. Shes a danger to herself and anyone around her if she looses control."

"That is why, you are BOTH coming home. You can train her with whatever this is, and while you do that... Nat will make sure anyone who has anything in way of objections to this decision... to shut their fat fucking mouths."

"Jas, I'm not going to start letting you and Nat act like Jacques Schnee."

"Fuck him too. Nat knows more than that backwater douche could ever hope to dream about. Glyn, I keep telling you... family first... and that INCLUDES you. Your happiness and comfort is more important to us, than anything anyone has to say."

"I..."

"There's something else, isn't there? Something you're not telling me."

"There is a lot I can't really..."

"Are you in danger?"

"No, not specifically."

"And what is that supposed to mean?"

"It's more emotional... I think it's time... but...I..."

"I'll be there in two days, sweet heart. Two days. Can you hold on for that long?"

"I..." Glynda felt the tears starting to well up in her eyes.

"Glyn... this is long overdue, but you know that... but also remember you are part of this family... You are NOT alone. Nat and I will not let you go through this alone. That is a promise. You are not and will never be alone."

"Thank you." Glynda managed to squeak out in a rushed whisper.

"We love you Glyn. We do. Me, Nat, and all the girls... love you." Jasmine gave Glynda a warm, motherly, comforting smile, "Two days, Arc's word."

"Thank you." Glynda managed to say once again as she reached up with her free hand and wiped at the tears starting to roll down her cheeks. "I mean it thank you."

"Love you sis."

"Love you too."

The called ended shortly after that, and Glynda quickly before Jaune rose, moved into the bathroom and fixed herself up. She had looked like an emotional mess, her make-up smeared with tear tracks, and her eyes a little red. A little cool water, some long and slow breaths followed by some touch ups, and her nearly complete emotional breakdown was wiped away.

/=/

As soon as the call was ended Jasmine Arc was in motion. She was on her scroll making travel arrangements and in the middle of speaking with the Arc family receptionist, she paused seeing her second youngest Blanche walk into the living room.

"Honey?"

"Yes Mom?" The ten year old replied.

"Go get Violet, Vert and Jade. Tell them Mommie wants them to get packed. She needs them to come on a special trip to go bring Aunt Glynda and sis Jaune home. Okay?"

"Jaune's coming home WITH Aunt Glynda!?"

"Yes honey. Now please."

The young girl whipped around causing her pink flowered sundress to billow out around her, before she took off like a shot. Jasmine her her rapid footfalls as the excitable second youngest Arc raced up stairs to get her older sisters. Jasmine returned to her call.

"Yes can you arrange for one of the shuttles to take me and three of my girls to Vale, along with four VIP passes to Beacon?" Jasmine tilted her head as she listened to whatever responses she was getting from exceptional woman who had served the Arc family for over forty years. "Perfect, thank you so much Rosalie. Let Nat know when your grandson's grad is going to be. We'll do something special for you and your family to celebrate."

As soon as that call was completed, Jasmine was instantly calling a second number. She held her scroll to her ear, as she waited for the call to be answered.

"Saph? It's mom." Jasmine paused listening to her eldest daughter's response. "No everything is fine with me and you father. This is about Jaune and Glynda."

"She's doing it." Jasmine informed her daughter after she had finished asking a bunch of questions. "It's going to be rough on them both. I'm taking Vert, Jade, and Violet with me to bring them back to Ansel, but I would really love it if you, Terra and Adrian could be here for when we get back. You think you could arrange that?"

"I don't know how this is all going to play out, so I want as much family here to surround them as possible. You're the closest to Jaune out of all my girls. She's going to need you... and depending how other things play out I don't want you, Terra or Adrian exposed."

"If they wont let her take time off, tell her to quit. We have similar jobs here she can have." Jasmine tilted her head to the side listening to whatever Saphron Cotta-Arc was saying before cutting her off. "Saph I need you, and I know you'll need your family by your side. Make it happen, however you have to. Now I need to make some more arrangements and tell your father what is going on. Will you be here?"

"Thank you honey. Love you." Jasmine waited as Saphron ended the call, before she thumbed the scroll contact for her husband. The sound of three sets of booted feet stomping down the stairs, caused her to look up and watch as her second eldest, and the twins enter the dinning room she was making her calls from.

"Mom what's going on? Blanche said you want us to get packed for a trip." asked Violet her second oldest.

"Yes girls. I want the three of you outfitted in your gear. We're going to Beacon for Jaune and Glynda."

"Should we be expecting trouble?" asked Jade, while her twin Vert bit her nails, as she stood beside her.

"Maybe, but this is more a show of family solidarity. Can I count on you girls?" the trio nodded in response. "Thank you, now go get ready, we're going to be leaving soon."

/=/

Pyrrha was nervous. JNPR, sans Jaune and RWBY had been in a deep discussion, in regards to the missing blond. After the session with Professor Goodwitch, Blake had let it all out. What she and Ren had noticed about Jaune, and then seen. No one had any real answers, but they were all of a similar mind. As soon as Jaune returned to them, they were going to get answers; regardless of if he wanted to give them or not. From there the discussion fell into everyone hind-sighting Jaune's behaviour. The consensus was that Jaune was in trouble; and while each one of them had their own reasons to want answers and to help... the unity was there. They were going to help.

But as the seven hunters-in-training continued to discuss the missing team leader in hushed tones; Pyrrha received a summons on her scroll. A summons directly from Headmaster Ozpin himself. So after informing her companions that she had been called to see the Headmaster, she started the trip to his office in Beacon's tower. It wasn't really a long trip, and it seemed to the nervous champion that it had been completed even faster than she thought it would have taken. She fidgeted in the elevator as she rode it to the top floor. When the doors opened she stepped out and into the large space that served as the Headmaster's office.

"Ms Nikos." he greeted her.

"Headmaster."

"Please have a seat, as I have several things I would like to discuss with you, and this will take more than a little bit of time. So please make yourself comfortable. Would you like something to drink? Tea perhaps?"

"No I'm fine Headmaster. I just finished breakfast with my friends." she replied as she took a seat in one of the plush arm chairs situated before his desk. "So you wanted to speak with me?"

"Yes, I do Ms Nikos. But you don't need to be so anxious. You are not in trouble, in fact it is the opposite."

"Opposite?"

"Yes I wish to offer you a unique opportunity. So I invited you here to discuss the particulars."

"Okay."

"So, before we get to the meat of the matter, I have a question to ask. Do you mind?"

"I guess it's okay."

"You don't have to be so nervous. I was just going to ask what your favourite Fairy Tale was?"

"I really, didn't have much time for stories because of all the training I was doing. So I don't know?"

"I see, well mine is the Story of the Seasons. Do you know of it?"

"I think I heard of it, but I'm not sure I remember it.."

"Well it is a fabulous story about how four young women, showed kindness an old recluse and changed his heart so much that he revealed to them he was in fact a wizard; and as a thank you for their kindness to him."

"He gifted each one the powers over one season, is that right?"

"It is. So you do know it." Ozpin gave her a warm smile.

"Once you started talking about what it was about, I remembered it." Pyrrha replied.

"What would you say Ms Nikos... if I told you that story is in fact true account of an event that happened hundreds of years ago?"

"I..."

"Unbelievable right? Because if that one was true, what about the other tales mothers and fathers read to their children at bedtime? They would have to be true as well, wouldn't they?"

"I... I guess."

"Well you would be right. The Girl in the Tower is a true accounting of another event from before our known history as is The Warrior in The Woods, and The Grimm Child."

"But that can't be possible, could it?" Pyrrha paused as the Headmaster looked at her expectantly. "That would mean magic was real."

"Magic is real, as are the maidens. Which brings me to what I wanted to ask of you." Ozpin responded as he clasped his hands before him on his desk. "How would you like to receive a power that would truly let you save lives; and I don't mean a few... I mean hundreds, possibly thousands."

"I don't know what I would say. That type of power doesn't seem possible, and how would you give it?"

"It is possible, and I do have the means to gift you this power. So what would you say? I'm offering you access to abilities that would make you even more superior than you already are. You would, with the proper focus and some training be leaps and bounds above even the best huntsmen and huntresses Remnant has to offer."

"I'm sorry... it just seems too unreal, too unbelievable."

"Well you can believe it, and it is real. Ms Nikos. If you PROMISE to heed my words, and advice I can give you access to the powers of what is known as the Fall Maiden. You would become a very force of nature. A Huntress of such quality that you could defend the innocent from the oldest and most powerful of grimm."

"What do you mean, heed your words?"

"Just how it sounds. If you accept my offer I'm asking that you listen to what I have to say about things. To take my advice and use it to the best of your ability. To not do what others have done... ignore me or assume I don't know what I am talking about."

"And the current Fall Maiden? Does she have a say in this?"

"Unfortunately not. She was attacked several months ago, and has been in a coma ever since. There is in fact; according to the multitude of doctor's that have examined her no chance of her ever recovering. Her injuries are too severe."

"She was attacked?"

"She was, and to be honest if you accept this gift... you will become a target for those that had attacked her."

"This is..."

"A lot to digest, and is a life altering choice. One that I don't want you to take lightly. So I would like you to think about it."

"How long, can I consider this offer?"

"I would prefer if you made a decision in a couple days, but I know that is unreasonable and would be pushing it; so how about we meet again in a week's time?"

"So I have a week to make a life altering decision?"

"No, you have a week to think about what I have said, and when we meet again I'll answer whatever additional questions you have, and we will discuss the offer in further detail." Ozpin unclasped his hands and spread them out before him. "This is like you just said, a life altering decision. I don't expect you to make a choice for or against this offer in such a short time. If you do, that is fine, but in a week we'll talk again. Is that fair?"

"Yes, Headmaster."

"Good, and one more thing Ms. Nikos."

"Yes, Headmaster, what would that be?"

"This conversation is only between us. No one else is to know about what we really discussed here, Understood?"

"But..."

"There is no but for this condition. Regardless of if you take the offer or not, no one else, including your team needs to know about what we have discussed. I mean no one." Ozpin clasped his hands before him on his desk, "If you really feel that you do need to discuss this with someone other than myself, you can speak with Professor Goodwitch, but only her. Is that understood?"

"Yes, Headmaster."

"I will also add, if you feel that you need time away from your studies and training in order to consider this offer, just let myself of Professor Goodwitch know, and we will have you excused from lessons. You may leave if you have no further questions, for me."

"Thank you, Headmaster." Pyrrha replied again, before standing and exiting the office via the elevator. Ozpin waited for her to leave before sighing and leaning back in his seat.

"For such a talented young woman, she is really spineless." Ozpin groaned. "Barely any questions, just accepting of everything I said. This is why I need you Jaune... if only you and Glynda would see the bigger picture."

Leaning forward, he placed his hands flat on his desk, and pushed. Rising stiffly from his chair, he grabbed his cane, and picked up the battered leather tome her had been reading. Putting the tome under his arm he made his way to the elevator. He waited for the carriage to arrive and after stepping inside, tapped a very specific sequence into the panel. He felt the carriage start to move, and just waited. When the doors finally open he was looking out into an expansive mainly empty room. Stepping out, he made his way across the metal floor, his cane clacking in time to his steps. He reached his target in in a very short span of time.

"You didn't deserve what happened to you, Amber." he spoke to the girl secured in one of two tube like pods, as he set his cane and the book aside on a nearby metal table. He moved to check the monitors in the false hope that there was some improvement, of course there was none. Taking one last look at her, he turned his attention to the book he had carried down. Opening it to the page he marked with a sharpie; he began to once again for the tenth time review the instructions enclosed in the leather bound pages.

With the book in one hand, and the sharpie in the other he walked some distance away from the pods, and began to draw on the smooth metallic floor. He took his time, as he knew he had to make every symbol, every mark perfect. If it wasn't the ritual would fail to transform Jaune, or worse; possibly mutilate her. Ozpin had weighed the pros and cons of this action, and compared to body twisting continuous agony; this was the best option for hiding Jaune in plan sight.

/=/

Classes had ended and Jaune was standing nervously at the statue near the entrance of Beacon. She had driven her Aunt almost insane with repeated wardrobe changes, while trying to find something cute, but not sexy to wear. It had gotten so bad that Glynda had gone into Jaune's on closet and pulled out an outfit for her. Jaune felt like she was five years old again; reminded of the many times Glynda had chosen her outfits to wear to school, or on special occasions. With the outfit decided on Glynda had left for her session with Ren and Blake, leaving Jaune to pace back and forth in the apartment.

Sixteen checks of the light amount of make-up she was wearing, followed by continual adjustments to bun she had pulled her golden waterfall of just past mid-shoulder length blond hair. Then of course there was the heels, well not really. Jaune had known she was going to wear her stilettos before she even considered the rest of her outfit. So decked out in black five inch stilettos, a calf length charcoal pencil skirt, with a white blouse, and a charcoal waist coat she scooped up her scroll and made her way to the designated meeting place.

So there she was, fidgeting, and trying to corral all the nervous energy flowing through her. She kept telling herself in her mind that everything was going to be fine. That is she could give Coco a faux-striptease, she could sit and have coffee with her. But she couldn't help it. The last time she had been on an actual date with someone she liked was just after she turned fourteen and discovered that she was attracted to women. It hadn't ended well, and she vividly remembered the hours she spent crying while Saphron consoled her. Her stomach rolled. No this wouldn't end like that. She wouldn't think that way.

"You waiting for someone, Angel?" came a voice from behind that caused her to instantly stiffen up. Turning her head just enough to be able to look over her shoulder, she saw the owner of said voice. Coco stood there with a sly grin a pair of disposable coffee shop cups in her hands.

"Yes..." Jaune cleared her throat in an unladylike way, "Yes I am."

"Wasn't sure what you like, as I forgot to ask," Coco gave Jaune a sheepish grin, "So I got a pair of iced caps. That okay?"

"Yes, it is." Jaune replied as she moved towards Coco and took the offered cup. She took a quick sip, and then let her eyes drink in Coco's form. Jaune liked Coco's outfit, it was casual but sporty; though she was on the fence about the sunglasses and beret. "Thank you."

"No problem, Angel."

"Angel?"

"I figured I'd call you by something other than your name, just in case." Coco whispered as she leaned in. Jaune heard her take a deep breath, and could feel her warm moist breath on her ear. "Is that okay? Also you look really nice."

"Just nice?" Jaune asked.

"Fishing for compliments, are we?" Cocco asked as she leaned away from Jaune, a flirty smirk on decorating her face.

"Always." Jaune responded, giving Coco a warm smile and a wink. "

Should we find somewhere to sit down, or do you want to walk around?"

"Let's walk a little."

"You sure? In those heels?"

"What's wrong with me heels?" Jaune pouted.

"Nothing, just thinking about if your feet get sore in those things?"

"Not really."

"Not really?"

"Sometimes, but only if I'm on my feet for hours..."

"Angel, I get why you like them. I like seeing you in them, but can you try wearing something less high?"

"Maybe."

"Please?"

"What do I get if I do?"

"I don't know." Coco gave Jaune a smirk, "What do you w..."

"That's the bitch!" shouted a voice that did make Jaune actually visibly shiver. Brown and blue eyes turned towards the source of that voice; finding the whole of team CRDL leering at them.

"Winchester." Coco hissed. "Want to tell me why you crawled out from under your rock?"

"Stuff it Adel." Cardin replied with a sneer. "You had no right to interfere with my boy getting to know that skank. We wanted to run into you in the cafeteria, get an apology... but out here works just as well. So let's hear it?"

"You any good in a fight?" Coco asked Jaune under her breath.

"No. I'm bottom of the board. No wins, not even a draw." Jaune replied in her own whisper.

"Not a chance Winchester. I ain't apologizing to a knocking that fuckwit out." Coco dropped her cup to the ground as she closed her hands. Four on one was not odds she could handle. But she knew she could keep them busy enough for Jaune to get help.

"Coco?" Jaune asked as she stepped slightly behind her date.

"You think we can't make you? Without that fucking handbag cheat you carry around... you're nothing but another stupid dyke that hasn't gotten a real dicking to know she's wrong."

"I want you to run and get help." Coco whispered, "When I set this off, you run... get your Aunt or anyone. But you run."

"Saying good bye to the skank?" Lark asked his voice dripping venom. "You should be. Once we're done getting an apology, I'll be showing her a real good time."

"Fuck you!" Jaune screamed as she hauled off and beaned Sky in the face with her mostly full drink.

"Fucking bitch!"

Coco moved slightly making sure she was directly between Jaune and CRDL. This wasn't winnable, and she knew that, but she'd be damned if she didn't try. She wasn't going to let the racist bastard waste of a huntsmen team anywhere near Jaune. Coco tightened her fists and brought them up as CRDL started to fan out around the pair. She could hear Jaune's feet moving, and she was desperately hoping that she was getting ready to bolt, and not taking a fighting stance.

"Alright boys... let's show them how you treat and abusive slut." Cardin snarled, as his meaty hands coiled into fists.

"Hey asshats!" came a new voice. One that Jaune instantly recognized.

"Yang." she whispered as she turned her head just enough to see behind her. She felt relief in seeing the blond brawler. With Yang here, maybe CRDL would back off.

"Back off Xiao Long. This has nothing to..."

"Shut it Cardin." Yang snapped back as she walked forward and took a position next to Coco. "If you don't want to wait for the next combat class for me to force feed you your teeth, I'm fine with throwing down now."

"So you're throwing in with them are you? A dirty bitch of an animal lover, and a dyke?"

"Keep talking Winchester..." Coco growled.

While they threw barbs back and forth Jaune, hidden from view by Coco's body had pulled out her scroll, and tapped a very specific number. She didn't lift the scroll to answer it, she just held it so everything that was being said could be heard.

"I'm going to be real interested to see if you can still tough talk after I put your head up Russel's ass." Yang snapped as she adjusted her stance. Feet and fists ready.

The sextet of fighters grew quiet, each and every one of them adjusting their stances. Jaune was doing her best to hold it together. She never wanted to deal with shit like this. This was what Violet, Jade and Vert liked to do. They were the fighters, she was a dancer; but she couldn't leave Coco and Yang to deal with this alone, she just didn't know what she could do to really help aside from praying her call had been answered.

She had her answer less than a minute later, when Cardin was suddenly launched with rocket like force into the nearest wall. It was an instant knock out, as he slid to the ground in a limp heap. The rest of CRDL stood there in shock, and then they all heard it. The clack of heels on stone. Jaune almost started to cry, when she saw her. Hair wild, no glasses, and riding crop in hand.

"Holy shit she is pissed!" Yang commented as Glynda snapped out her crop and a second member of CRDL, this time Sky suddenly flipped into the air, and crashed face first into the ground. Russel and Dove instantly knew this was something they wanted no further part of, so they did the only smart thing they could think of. Both dropped to their knees, and laced their fingers together on top of their heads.

"You called your Aunt?" Cocco asked in a whisper.

"I couldn't let you get hurt, because I can't fight, and I wasn't going to run and leave you alone." Jaune replied, moving so her shoulder touched Coco's back.

"You alright?" Yang asked the pair as she dropped her fighting stance and watched wide eyed as Professor Goodwitch forced the two still conscious members of CRDL onto their stomachs while pulling out her scroll. "I thought she was scary before..."

"Adel!"

"Yes Professor?"

"Escort my niece back to my apartment. Ms Xiao Long."

"Yes professor?"

"Please confirm if Mr Winchester is still breathing."

/=/

Glynda had a headache, and her heart was thumping in her chest like a sledge hammer. She sat in one of the plush arm chairs across from Ozpin's desk., The Headmaster sitting behind it, his hands clasped before him. Glynda knew she was in trouble. She had done the inexcusable, and being honest with herself; for Jaune she would do it again without any hesitation. So there she sat, thinking about her actions as the Headmaster just regarded her with complete silence.

"I don't...: Ozpin started to speak, "need to tell you that you have caused a serious incident. You openlu attacked a student Glynda, one of your own students. A student that normally you would have protected. All because of Jaune."

"She needs to be protected, and I told you before this insanity started that I would be doing just that."

"You did, but this is more than you just protecting Jaune. Mr Winchester and Mr Lark are both lucky that even in your compromised emotional state you tempered your attacks. The potential for career ending injuries was very possible."

"So what happens now?' asked Glynda her voice tired and shallow, "Obviously after such an incident I will be dealing with a Disciplinary Tribunal, not to mention a suspension."

"You are correct on both those fronts, in addition to possible criminal and civil charges."

"Criminal and civil charges?"

"The Winchester's are an fairly influential family. They may push for more severe punishments in regards to your actions against their son." Ozpin paused before continuing, "As of this moment you are under an indefinate suspension. All of your classes, and scheduled appointments will handed off to other members of the staff and faculty."

"Anything else?"

"You are to have no contact with any member of team CRDL. Your access to staff only sections of the school is now revoked. Any questions?"

"How are Mr Winchester and Mr Lark?"

"Stable, recovering , and facing their own Disciplinary Tribunal."

"Because of this incident?"

"No, though it was the lynch pin that set off the process. They will be held accountable for all of the incidents revolving their conduct of themselves and their treatment of fellow students. There are enough complaints and incident reports to justify it." Ozpin unclasped his hands and used them to help push himself to standing. He moved to one the high arched windows and looked out of the Emerald Forest. "There is one silver lining in all of this mess."

"And that would be?"

"You now will have unrestricted access and time to work with Jaune in mastering her powers, and possibly Pyrrha Nikos as well."

"What do you mean possibly?"

"The offer has been made. She didn't jump at it as I thought she might, but she is interested, and with the right nudge..."

"Don't you..."

"Glynda, you need to stay calm and rational. I will not be forcing Ms Nikos to take up the mantel of the Fall Maiden. She has been given the choice and opportunity, the final choice will be hers." Ozpin turned his head to regard his former Deputy Headmistress, "The nudge will be to force Ms Nikos to make a choice. For or against, it doesn't matter, she just needs to make one."

"And if she chooses not to?"

"Considering your current situation Glynda, that is no longer any concern of yours." Ozpin turned about fully. "You will be given access to a reserved private training room. I expect you to put a considerable effort into getting Jaune competent with the use of her powers. Understood?"

"Understood." Glynda's shoulders dropped, and the once proud woman took on an instant air of complete and utter defeat.

"Go spend some time with Jaune, I would dare say you both need it." Ozpin offered. Glynda just nodded, and slowly rose to her feet. "And Glynda."

"Yes?"

"This isn't the end of the world." Ozpin returned to gazing at the emerald Forest as he listened to the clip of heels against the floor slowly recede, to vanish completely shortly after the ding of the elevator doors opening.

/==/

So another chapter down, and closer to my goal of bringing the revamp up to the same number of chapters of the original, Thank you for all the support with this project.

Now for a couple of notes:

I have a re-write for Chapter 3 that has Ozpin being a little less "evil", but (hopefully) still keeps the vibe that the bigger picture is more important to him than smaller details. Still on the fence as if I should upload it.

I am bringing the Arcs (at least a few of them) to Beacon in support of Jaune and Glynda, and I hope the rather "hostile" nature of Jasmine is acceptable given how the story is unfolding.

I'm a little "ify" about the confrontation with CRDL. As in if it works or feels too tacked on.

Anyway feel free to let me know what you think, either in the comments/review section or through a PM. I do check and ready all the comments, and genuinely consider the advice given. So thank you to EVERYONE who is taking the time to offer support or pointing out issues.

Sincerely;

Jeremy
