Thanos and Kevin stood atop a grassy hill during the dead of night. Despite the moody setting, the Mad Titan's drip faintly lit, casting a soft ray of light on his sidekick's face. The maniacs stood together, staring at the island above. Kevin asks, "Thanos, we need to do something."

The Mad Titan smiles and quips, "we're in no rush. I can do this all day."

Kevin points his hand at Thanos and screams, "we got no time to stand around!"

"Well, actually, we do," Thanos admits, before rotating his hand clockwise. Glowing green hues channel in his arm, scattering sparks in the air, and a colored vortex forms. He unleashes it in the air, and the time tornado swallows Angel Island, yet, just as it finishes engulfing the floating civilization, it assimilates into thin air. The titan looks at Kevin and explains, "the island's suspended in a time hole tangent to the Earth's rotation around the sun."

Kevin mutters, "English, please…"

"I froze the island in the air."

"Now that makes sense. Alright, what should we do now, kill that kid? He sounds like an easy target."

Thanos sits as flashbacks dwell in his mind palace. Thoughts of sacrifice shine; thoughts of Gamora, his adopted daughter who was thrown to her death in exchange for the Soul Stone, danced in front of God. He looks at Kevin and stutters, "that kid, he places a lot of weight on love, just as we do."

The angsty teen freezes up as Thanos lets out a soft sigh, and in a somber tone, he monologues, "There doesn't need to be much more to any of us than love, so I can assume we share the same weakness: hatred. Pure, vile hatred. When I sacrificed my daughter, I promised her death wouldn't burden me, make me disgusted by the thought of loving another person. I wouldn't fight for order, for good, for evil… I fight for… love… And in order to kill someone like Steven, we have to destroy him emotionally, tear down his shields, and only then can we eliminate him. And once my purpose is fulfilled, I will bring everyone back. Including her…"

Kevin nods along to the titan's ramblings and pats him on the back. Then, Thanos breathes intently, and after releasing a long exhale, he chuckles. He looks at Kevin, then back at the island. He then announces, "I got it. I know our next step."

Kevin asks, "what?"

"Turn into a Thanos-sized cannon blaster and I'll work on it from there."

Thanos stares at the clear night skies, inspecting the star alignment patterns. He validates what he's assumed all along: the island runs perpendicular to Mars. The teenager starts forming into a cannon, bitching, "look, I know the boat worked but it was impractical. But as you say, our fates are inevitable, right?"

The Eternal smiles, "yeah, as long as my trigonometry's up to standard." Suddenly, the titan could hear familiar sounds of rapid fire footsteps. He looks at Kevin and says, "wait, I got some unfinished business… Stay put." Thanos then starts dashing towards the noise. He uses the time stone to freeze everyone except himself. After some prancing, he finds what he expected: the blue bitch himself, running with what appears to be a fanny pack strapped on his waist. He then looks above to find the spidey menace supported by a web connected to a tree. Thanos walks up to Sonic. frozen in time, and punches him in the face multiple times. He then looks at his bloody face and smiles. Under his breath, he mutters, "that's for taking the stones without consulting me." Then, with the Infinitrix Gauntlet, Thanos turns into Swampfire and scorches the hedgehog. He raises his voice, "that's for letting that kid go." Next, he turns into Humongosaur and carries the carcass over his chest, arm to arm. He then tears the hedgehog clean in two- blood suspending in time. He screams, "that's for rendering my daughter's sacrifice null." Finally, he channels the suspended blood and compresses it into a hammer and smashes the two pieces of hedgehog meat back into the ground with the new utensil of destruction. He laughs maniacally, however, in this state of ecstasy, he failed to notice an extending web targeting his right hand. It drops down and yanks out his Infinitrix Gauntlet. Suddenly, time resumes. The overcooked hedgehog platter slams into the earth, and Spider-Man, from above, slams the gauntlet onto his right hand and laughs as the overbearing power infuses itself into his DNA. On the ground level, Thanos notices the hedgehog's hand twitching, then he looks at the teenage menace.

Spider-Man instinctively twists his arm around and hurls fire at the titan, screaming, "FINALLY YOU FUCKER, THIS IS ONLY A FRACTION OF YOUR PUNISHMENT. OVER TIME I WILL MAKE YOUR ETERNAL MISERY WHOLE, AND THEN, IT WILL NO LONGER BE A PART OF ME."

Thanos responded to the threat appropriately, by using his secondary gauntlet to form a pink shield around him, blocking any and all heat from entering. From above, Spidey tears apart his rope and hovers. He nods as the red stone emanates a faint glow. Then, he drops down through the flames and pierces through the shield, and with the power of the red Reality Stone, he warps the little area surrounding Thanos into a dank yellow-orange tinted palace bound in brick walls. Spikes grow from the floor, each topped off with duplicates of the Mad Titan's head. Thanos, shocked at the kid's ability, responds with a flick of the wrist. Suddenly, the world around them warps again, and the lights dampen. Spider-Man doesn't even react to the sudden blindness, yet his Spidey-Sense recognizes that they don't share the same space as mortals anymore. He screams, "YOU MAY HAVE TELEPORTED US TO HELL, BUT I DON'T NEED TO SEE YOUR DEAD BODY IN ORDER TO BE SATISFIED. ALL I NEED IS A SCREAM." Spidey then uses the mind stone on his gauntlet to trigger the dead heads to scream, thus lighting up the area ever so slightly. They begin rising from their spikes and hone in on Thanos at the pace of speeding bullets, but one by one, the Titan tears through them with a single punch- after all, his secondary gauntlet still has a power stone. One by one the heads drop dead. He grabs one face off then tears it straight in two. However, the heads become too much for Thanos, and they slowly cover his body, nibbling away at his body. Spidey takes a second to laugh whilst staring at complete darkness. However, a sense of denial pushes him to walk closer. He first feels some skulls lying down and then SLAP! A whip wraps itself around the kid's neck and starts choking him. A sense of nausea develops in him as he feels a slight moisture creeping around his face. He looks to his right and screams only to look at crudely wrapped bits of tongue tied together to form a chain. While he gags, Thanos tightens his grip on his macgyvered rope.

Meanwhile, in reality, below the island, Spider-Man appears to choke himself while Thanos is smiling. Kevin runs up to the Titan and notices all the carnage. He slaps Thanos. Nothing. He then punches his face. Also nothing. He then hears rumblings from above. "Damn," he mumbles to himself, "the island's surely gonna crumble." He tries shaking the two down, but they are both intoxicated by dueling reality manipulations. He scrambles to find someone, and eventually stumbles upon the miniature crater, and kneels at the sight of Sonic's corpse. "Dear lord… not you too…" Kevin slams his hands on the floor and breaks down into a pool of tears.

Inside hell, Spider-Man crosses his arms and shoots out two webs. They cling onto parallel brick walls. Then, he straightens his arms. The webs tear off the structures and slam them onto the Titan, stunning him. The whip loosens its grip, and Spider-Man uses it to pummel some fists into his face. At the same time, Kevin sniffs his nose and stares at the carcass. Its two parts slowly crawl towards each other. Kevin, confused, takes a few steps back. He looks at the looming collapse of Angel Island.

At the Hidden Palace, Knuckles wakes up, feeling startled by rapturous quakes. He tightens his eyes, hoping that this is just a nightmare. After some hesitation, he opens his eyes and stares at the remains of his legs, then at RoboBlart. He utters, "I designed you to protect us, and you failed." The robot approaches him stoically. Coldly, he affirms, "I have a purpose, and I believe I fulfilled it. This body of mine isn't my first, and chances are it won't be my last. After all, I didn't choose security. Security chose me. And security knows no boundaries, not even death." RoboBlart pauses and kneels down with Knuckles as they embrace the tremors.

Meanwhile, in hell, Thanos brushes off Spidey's attack and runs up to him. He uppercuts the Infinitrix Gauntlet wielding menace, then grabs his wrists. He crushes off Spidey's web blasters and taunts, "you really think you can fight me! I've killed you millions of times, I know your every weakness."

Spider-Man laughs and screams, "I DON'T NEED WEB SHOOTERS, WHEN I GOT… SPIDER-MONKEY!" In a swoop, Spider-Man slams on the Infinitrix Gauntlet and turns into Spider-Monkey. He then sprays web out his tail, trapping Thanos to the wall. He then crawls up through the roof and towards Thanos.

Kevin looks at the carcass as its flesh sows itself back together. He throws up to the side. What surprises him most, however, is how the arms seem to elongate and develop. It's too muscular to be a hedgehog's arms. After a bit, the right hand crawls into its fanny pack. It unzips the pack and pulls out a pokeball. It clicks the button on the front, and suddenly Dialga rises. Kevin stares in astonishment at the beast, but then he looks back at the corpse. Its entire body seems to be reshaping itself into a human form. And suddenly, just as Dialga spots the island, the reanimated corpse opens its new pair of eyes and rises up. Kevin walks away from the slender man. The man takes out the second Pokeball and summons Palkia. In a nasally voice, the man screams, "Dialga! Palkia! Team up and suspend the island." Kevin looks at the resurrected man and asks, "who… what… are you?"

The man smiles, "Oh, you must be confused because of my disguise. Well, I'm Cashew Disguisey. Nice to meet ya."

Spider-Man-Monkey crawls towards Thanos. His mouth's slowly drooling. He creeps closer and closer to the titan, ready to savor the kill. He licks his lips and screams, "ANY LAST WORDS?"

Thanos smiles and says, "I'll think of them later." Eager to land a blow, he instantly tears off the web and pulls off the world's dopest backflip. His feet smash Spidey's neck onto the wall, then he twirls midair and delivers another spin kick before recovering on the floor. Spidey attempts to scream, but instead of expelling sound vibrations, immense amounts of blood spew out his body and shower Thanos's head in a crimson rain. Next, Thanos stares at the wall he was trapped against and punches it so hard it tears down completely, exposing an open burning pit of magma. The ceiling starts leaning towards the lava, and Thanos starts stalking towards the opposing wall. He shatters it instantly, and the ceiling drops down onto the titan. Using the Power Stone, he supports the cieling with his left gauntlet, and punches Spider-Man with his right hand. He smiles as he drops the gauntlet. He screams, "BYE BYE INFINITRIX GAUNTLET, GUESS YOUR DAUGHTER'S SACRIFICE WAS NAUGHT." But Thanos didn't budge. With his left arm, he pushes the ceiling carrying Spidey 90 degrees counterclockwise, and the gauntlet falls snugly into Thanos' hand. He smiles as hallucinations recede and the two snap back to reality. Peter drops on the floor and passes out, all the while Thanos stands tall. Instinctively, he looks at Angel Island, but to his shock, it's suspended in the air. He then sees two monsters staring intently at the island. He runs up to the two.

Thanos notices the out of place schlub and asks, "who the hell is this nerd?"

The Master of Disguise replies, "I'm Cashew Disguisey, but you may know me as the guy you tore in half."

"Wait, you're telling me that a scrawny kid like you can morph your entire body, survive scorching flames and mutilation, then reform yourself back together? Impossible… unless…"

Kevin interrupts Thanos by explaining, "unless you know Reverse Phantom Pain… Which judging by our circumstances, we can only conclude is true."

Thanos chuckles, "well I'll be damned. Looks like you all had a plan…"

Cashew chimes in, "it was my idea, and speaking of, where"s Sonic even?"

Thanos tightens his face and ponders, "wait, Sonic's in on this?"

"Yes, yes, he was… He should have teamed up with Peter to negotiate with you?"

"Does negotiating mean stealing my gauntlet?"

"No? Of course he went off script… Uggh… Well, we have external forces keeping the island up so you can help us help you. We know you're out for someone, so tell me, who is it?"

Thanos hesitates for a second. After looking back at Peter's passed out body, he smiles and replies, "we're gonna kill Steven Universe and anyone who stops us… he will die finally supporting the cause he masqueraded behind. He will die... in the name of love."
