LITTLE FREAK
ii . inner thoughts
being lost isn't the same as being nowhere.
- unknown
THE THREE GIRLS stood outside a white, grayish house with rough textured tiles that began to rip up as their youth started to fade. They walked up with Caroline leading up the path, she knocked the door lightly. Opening the door revealed Lucy Bennett, who welcomed them into her home.
They all moved to a dinner table as Lucy pulled a map face open for the three girls to see. Lucy grabbed a red mark as she circled three points on the map, "These are the spots, I was able to easily find. Mystic falls, New Orelons, and London."
Caroline sighs knowing it just happened to be those two places that they will try to avoid. Katherine really wanted to scream as was not ready for any confrontation. Bonnie looks at her two girls who had an unpleasant look, "But there is more?"
Lucy nodded as she marked the map, "Yes but is hard to find but for now you will start in London and from there spread to the other two locations on the map. I don't know much that you all do but you all three should be fine."
The girls nodded as Lucy gave a soft smile knowing that they have a lot of pressure on their shoulders and there isn't much information besides what they can get from the ancestors and from what they know from the world they came from plus the extra information Caroline has from being there longer than the other two girls.
Caroline glances at the map and closes her eyes as memories hit her like plague, trying to make her remember that the memories will never go away.
"Sweet Sweet Caroline."
Caroline glances up to see the man with dark hair giving her a sinister smile. She tried to remove the cuffs, but they just created hot friction on her wrist.
He touched her thigh as he placed a little cut with a needle, she blamed herself since her clothing was being damaged when they were a fresh set compared to the ones that she had on before. The ache rushed up her arm like lightning.
He got a hold of her shirt and ripped it as he moved the knife into the neck. He got a hard grip of hair, "This toture session could be all over if you just give up and join us."
Caroline tried to keep a calm face as the pain became unbearable, "Never."
The man laughed as he got another needle as he injected a sudden drug into her. She shuddered. It exploded within her head, blinding her with whiteness. It caused her to feel dizzy.
It made her feel dizzy. The pain felt like alcohol-soaked needles penetrating her body, as if her arm had been replaced with ice and lightning had been plugged directly into her spine.
"Sweet dreams, Caroline. We will have more fun soon."
"Caroline."
"Caroline you are alright?"
Carline immediately snapped out of the memories as she eyed Katherine and Bonnie who held a worried expression on them. Bonnie gave her a delicate smile, "You okay, care?"
Caroline nodded as Katherine scoffed, "Don't lie to us."
Caroline let out a little chuckle, "I'm fine. Lucy, is there anything we should do here?"
Lucy shook her head, "Nothing here that I know of but I will keep an eye out, but London should be where you three should go first."
The three girls nodded at her words. Lucy pointed to the old wooden stairs, "Up stairs down the hall there are three open rooms."
Katherine immediately stood, "Thank you luce-luce."
Katherine went up the stairs as her hand slid up the ripped wallpaper as the rough texture against her hand felt a slight sting which she loved a lot. Entering the first room in her way, as a white and gray bedding appeared to her at first sight.
Observing the room was in a vast room. The flooring was constructed of fragmented colorful stones, while the walls were made of stone, offering further glimpses of the Lucy's luxury in taste.
Sitting on the bed she stared at the big window that showed the blur of pink and purple swirl together as the light orange blend into the pastel color as they start to set down as the starlight comes through the dark blue sky, making it have this lavish, extensive look.
Katherine closed eyes as she felt tears prinkle her eyes trying her best not to let it out because Katherine Pierce is a survivor and will not let the tears out. But there is only so much one person can handle without letting it go.
Elijah. Gosh, did she miss that man who did not deserve her love. She loved him, truth be told she still does but she doesn't want to get hurt again. But like she thought before, if fate is a thing then maybe they can work it out.
But she couldn't go to him not until everything was over. She has spent five hundred years on the run but that was just her running and her surviving— she can't run anymore.
She can not run anymore no matter how hard she wants to. She has to somehow pull this off without her or any of them breaking.
It was hell in there. A sudden chill entered her spine as remembrance of the time in their; it was haunting. Never has she ever experienced something like that, because in there her survivor skills were actually put to the test.
Back here in real world she can't hide like she would. She has to confront the pain and betrayal to pull this off if not they are all screwed. This is bigger than anything she has ever imagined in her entire existence.
Because for once Katherine Pierce can not be selfish, the price of her being selfish is too high. Is time to face the reality of whether she is ready or not.
At least she is not alone, she has her sisters in everything but blood with her.

Bonnie was currently trying to sleep but she couldn't. Everytime she shut her eyes nightmares invaded her. Bonnie tried to move positions, so she was on the left side of the bed, stretching her neck.
She begun rub her eyes that were so tired they had begun to burn and itch. She was really tired but her mind was too awake, with all thoughts consuming her.
Bonnie never felt this weak before in her life. Normally she is always fixing the problems but that is it. She is so used to everyone using her for magic; she forgets to take care of herself.
If it wasn't for Caroline or Katherine who help her realize the truth of how her life in mystic falls was, then she would have never seen the truth.
Because the truth is Bonnie was being used, over and over because of her magic. Not once did she get thank you for risking her life multiple times. The only person who ever said thank you was Caroline.
A tear came out of her. She treated Caroline terribly when she first turned. She knew how much Caroline loved being a vampire all Bonnie can do is be for her now, since she is not a vampire anymore.
Her mind drifts to the Silas incident as she almost played part of wiping an entire vampire line; almost committing genocide.
She almost committed genocide and almost played part of Kol's death but thankfully he is alive. She really owes him an apology because hatred aside he did not deserve any of that since he never did anything to her.
Shaking her thoughts she thought of what the three of them become. The three of them were something stronger than anyone who ever saw coming.
They were powerful in their own way and it is time for everyone else to see it because the three of them are risking their lives for the fate of everyone else, because this is bigger than anything before.

Caroline felt her observing the different neon luminous lights drag across her tiny room. Lighting up the small twin bed near the wall that had a floral wallpaper began to slowly shred as Lucy had mentioned that the house will be renovated.
Her heart felt herself closing as felt overwhelmed with how hard adjusting to the real world, compared to the world she came from. But is not the world that haunts is the people that first got her, as they tortured her, it took awhile but she escaped and learn to adapt to that world.
Now of course she is completely free, no longer forced to drain the life of hapless victims, and no longer is being held captive— but life is still hard.
Life is nothing but full of disappointments and undeniable pain no matter how hard one tries to avoid it.
Moving herself to sit in a corner bed set once again admire the colorful neon lights. There was something so comforting but exeriallting the lights brought to her.
Thoughts of life invaded her as to why the universe was so cruel to her and others. There is always something behind the scars and punches that life does, but what does it mean for her? Was it supposed to be a lesson for something and maybe she is just not grasping it?
If only she could have control of her own life and grant a peaceful life somewhere far away from all this pain and suffering. A home away from everything, somewhere in mountains isolated with nothing but her and nature.
But only if the universe or fate will allow her to do it and experience a peaceful home.
There was no concept of time, air, or rain. Nothing pure, nurturing, undemanding, or free. But she is free but at what cost?
She has to somehow pull this off because if not the price is too high.
Her thoughts drifted to Klaus. The one person that saw her for who she truly was. She wishes she would have just gone with him anytime he made a moved on her. But she was young and dumb. Her morals were so vain as life is beyond than what she thought.
The truth is she loves him. Is weird how the emotions come to her, it is like no one ever understands the sudden emotion until the cause of that feeling is gone. He told her that she was full of light but her light is dimmed now.
Will he still want to be part of her life after he realizes how broken she is? How her kindness and light is on a thin line— so close to shattering.
She just hoped that he will be there after she finishes this. Because no matter how hard she wants to run into his arms, he comes second.
What she, Bonnie, and Katherine are doing is stronger than anything she and they ever could imagine. It wasn't fair that it was on their shoulders but it is.
Still would he even want her after everything? After she almost gave up and ended her own life because she couldn't handle the pain anymore?
But he made her keep fighting, his stupid adorable dimple smile, his charms, his dark but lovable aura, his gorgeous eyes, and his heart. Because he had one, of course not many saw it but she did. Because she loves him.
Of course she wants to be a part of his world, everything he does but that all is on hold. Because the fate of everything is at stake.
Because truly even though a part of herself wants to leave this world, there is also that inner struggle that she is not ready to go just yet. There is so much she wants to do with him.
But for now, it is time for the three of them to pull this off.
