" Anchors 1-6 are reporting they are fully ready to begin repairs when needed and several long-range radars have been brought up by ONI and two Moncton-class orbital weapon platforms and a Hospital ship are confirmed to be operational after being delivered by slip space tow". The AI in question was bright green and was wearing MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Mark V he was Delta(AN: From red vs blue).
" What about the weapon emplacements planetside"? Jack asked the AI.
" We have 12 M71 Anti-Aircraft Guns, 17 M95 Guided Missile Weapon Systems, 5 surface-to-air missile launchers, 14 Type-27 Anti-Aircraft Cannons, 13 Type-38 Anti-Aircraft Cannons, 16 Type-56 Shrikes and multiple shade Stationary Guns deployed". Delta informed Jack who nodded at the AI. " Also you have several research projects that we have at the lab". Delta said and a window opened up in front of Jack.

Planet Freedom Upgrades/research
Jack looked over the upgrades he could do for this planet and it is classified as an garden World. The first upgrade was for the population and 2 phoenix class colony ships and the world to have adequate housing, education, roads,medical care, hospitals etc. The next upgrade was a planetary defense force or a PDF the defense force at level one was 1500 with 140 vehicles and 60 aircraft he upgraded it to level 5 and he had 5500 PDF infantry with 240 vehicles and 160 aircraft. The defense fleet had two marathon class heavy cruisers, ten Paris-class heavy frigates, Two ORS-class heavy cruisers, six Halberd-class destroyers, and four SDV-class heavy corvettes. Jack decided to add 8 CRS-class light cruisers, 3 CPV-class heavy destroyers, five DAS-class storm cutters, six Stalwart-class light frigates and ten Gladius-class heavy made several more upgrades/research for Freedom. Next came several upgrades for the navy,army and all the current territories he had and now he was low on funds again. That was about to change.
" You should also be aware that ONI has requested we capture more ships then destroy them if possible". Delta told him as he was in agreement on that. " Agreed and master Yoda's Consular-class cruiser Charger c70 retrofit variant has entered the system and is requesting landing permission". Delta said and Jack looked over and told Delta to tell them to dock at Anchor 3 and send orders to the three member spartan team that had arrived earlier today. Escorting Yoda to Rugosa where he sent a Sahara-class heavy prowler and several Paris-class heavy frigates with two CCS-class battlecruisers that could arrive at the system in fifteen minutes when things went downhill now he had to get on that pelican.
Third person POV Consular-class cruiser retrofitted Rugosa approach
Jack stood behind master Yoda the little green jedi kept asking questions about things Jack told him it was need to know and he didn't need to know. The three other Spartans were the infamous Red team Jerome-092, Douglas-042 and Alice-130. He saw the clones were keeping an eye on them and well four armored death machines could do that and two AI's. Tex came with him and Isabel for Jerome so far Isabel had slowly been copying the data from the ship well it was more along the lines of anything useful but it was not much.
" General the Toydarians beacon is active on the moon but all of our transmissions are being jammed". The clone pilot said.
" Hmm". Yoda hummed out.
" I can feel an Ambush". Jack said and was already prepared.
Then Munificent frigates came out of nowhere and fired at us. The ship shook from the fire and the warning sound came on. The ship's pilots evaded the gunfire the best they could.
" We're losing our shields".
"Too late it sprung is the trap". Yoda said.
" No, shit see why I said we needed a bigger ship but nooooooo mister green gremlin knows everything". Jack said and the ship rattled more and he was ignored.
" Are there any republic vessels nearby to call"? Jerome asked the clone.
" No, and the separatists' ships are jamming our transmissions". The clone pilot said.
" This is why you should bring an escort we should have and tell the Jedi to deal with it". Alice said as the ship shook from the shot by the Munificent-class star frigates.
" I must get you to safety General". The clone captain said.
" Retreat you must on the moon is my mission there I must go". Yoda said and the ship shook some more.
" Yoda, if you have a plane now, would be the time". Jack said and didn't want to die here.
" Reach the planet's surface we must". He said and started to move to the escape pods.
" In an escape pod sir"? The clone asked shocked. " The enemy will fire at anything we lunch".!
" Then launch all of them you will hmm". He said walking to the escape pods". He said and the clone, spartans and jedi quickly got into one and it shot out with the other ones behind them. The red bolts went right past the and started to destroy the other escape pods but they missed. After a few moments, the clone shock trooper spoke.
" That was a close one". One of the clones said.
" General , I think we are outta range". The clone lieutenant said.
" I agree but entering another trap we are". He said and the clones looked at each other.
" Are you sure"? The clone next to him asked.
" A disturbance in the force there is". He said.
" Nothing is ever simple is it"? He asked.
" No, it is not". He said
" Tex looks like you get to have fun". She said to the AI that showed up in my shoulder.
" Can't wait". Tex said.
Then They land HARD.
Third-person POV Rugosa surface Toydarian party
" Master Yoda's warship has the fled system. What further evidence do you need as a sign of the Jedi weakness". Ventress said and stressed weakness then the King's com-link went off.
" This is King Katuunko speak". The King said to the clone.
" Master Yoda would like to talk with you, sir". The clone said.
" A pleasure it is to hear your voice, your highness master Yoda of the Jedi Council this is". Yoda said, looking at the king.
" Master Jedi, I thought Count Dooku had frightened you off". The king said.
" Delayed I have been but not too far away am I now unaware I was count Dooku invited to our meeting". Yoda said.
" The count invited himself, he assures me in this time of war his droids can offer my world greater security than your Jedi". King Katuunko said as master Yoda clearly unconvinced that was Dooku's only reason.
" A matter of debate that is". Yoda clearly disagrees with that statement.
" Your majesty might prefer more than words". Ventress said.
" What do you have in mind"? King Katuunko asked.
" If master Yoda is the Jedi warrior you believe he is, let him prove it, allow me to send my best troops to capture him, if he escapes join the republic but should my droids defeat Yoda consider an alliance with the separatists". Ventress said.
" I didn't request master Yoda's presence here to text him in battle". The king said to the dark Jedi.
" Accept the challenge. I do your highness arrive by nightfall I will". Yoda said and then the king spoke.
" Master Yoda, before you arrived and Dooku's hand I was approached by another party who told me they could not only protect my system but our trade ships and a fleet as well and it would answer to myself and whoever else I decided". The king said and off his ship four Sangheili came off and three Zealots uncloaked with Vostu-pattern carbine, Nakata'vho-pattern rifle, and Okarda'phaa-pattern plasma rifles. Three of them had highly ornate armor red-and-black combat harnesses that were adorned with glowing orange panels on their helmets, forearms, and shoulders. The last one had on an ornate headdress, which covered most of his face and extended far behind his head and the armor is a pearlescent white in color.
" The empire of Reclamation seeks a trade partnership outside our borders even if the republic has a base on Toydaria we would still trade but why should they be dragged into your war by having a base of yours in their system when they can make a safer choice of the two when the king can make a much safer one.'' The Sangheili High Councilor said.
" He has a point master Yoda, out of the two the third I can easily not have to worry about an invasion of what side I ended up not picking." The king said.
" What the fuck why are you guys here". Jack said he was not left out of the loop but had to play the part.
" Apologies my lord but the council has ordered me and two other groups to find trade allies outside our space this is only a coincidence lord". The Sangheili High Councilor said.
" He is a lord that a filthy mercenary is a noble". Ventress said in anger at what happened to her in the past because of what Jack did. The Sangheili growled and their hands twitched and reached for their blades. Ventress maybe a dark jedi but the Honor Guard's were the most skilled of warriors and were hand-picked for the duty of protecting high ranking members of the High Council and others from any dangers the Honor Guard were adept and one of the highest-ranking combat units in the empire. The Sangheili High Councilor is one of the highest positions attainable by a Sangheili warrior, whether it be militarily or politically. Sangheili High Councilor's are extremely skilled warriors in almost all forms of armed and hand-to-hand combat. As Sangheili are ranked according to the numbers of kills obtained, Counselors have had to serve in the military long before achieving their title; it didn't help that all three had Okarda'phaa-pattern plasma rifles and Domotos-pattern energy swords and energy staves. Ventress may have been trained by Dooku but she has less experience then the low ranking Sangheili there. Now that's not saying she is unskilled or she'll get railroaded but she would not be walking away from this fight under her own power.
"He is a part of a noble house that been around since the founding of the empire. You will show respect whore". The Sangheili High Councilor growled out and Ventress bristled at being called a whore. Her hands reached for her lightsabers, the Sangheili did the same thing but they stopped when King Katuunko shouted for both sides to stop and it worked for now anyway.
Third person POV Republic escape pod crash site
" There has to be a whole battalion in their probably packing armor too". One of the clones said as he saw the C-9979 landing craft start landing. The spartans were already checking their weapons the three heavy weapons two M6 Spartan Lasers and M41 rocket launcher and and the other weapons a custom MLRS-1 Hydra missile launcher, a BR55 battle rifle, two M7 SMGs, one MA5D assault rifle, M90A CAWS and a BR85HB battle rifle. Jack had also put several M8 ADS or Wolf Spider turrets, three MA5D assault rifles, four M57 Pilums, and three BR75 battle rifles with ammo and grenades and C12 charges. His storage power was already known to the spartans so they were good with what he was doing.
" We'll have something for'em". One said with a mini-gun rotating. But he looked at the Spartans' weapons. " But now I feel underdressed".
" No, we pull back into the forest of coral those tanks can't follow us in their easy we pick off their infantry forces the standard CIS Battalion is 784 battle droids, 24 AATs with support droids odds are the dark jedi will sends them all in and she'll stay near the king". Jack said already planning how to deal with them.
" We still are out gunned and numbers on their side are a full battalion of clankers with armored support. You think we can beat that with just us"? The clone heavy trooper asked and Jack shook his head.
" No, it's not about beating them, it's about getting Yoda to the king before nightfall. The mission takes priority that means if it comes to we distract the droids and Yoda makes a b-line to the king". Jack said and the red team agreed the clones understood but Yoda's ears showed his displeasure.
" Left behind no one will be". Yoda thought Jack would obey what he said and he shook his head.
" No, our job is to make sure you proceed unhampered trust me the most the droids are going to do is slow you down to where the bald bitch is going to off the king the first chance she gets so if I were you I'd Hussle double time and we'll give the seps a hell of a welcoming party". Jack said looking at the jedi master who was displeased about not being listened to. The fact was Yoda had another reason for this. The mercenaries were complete unknowns and the Spartans were voids in the force he was unable to detect them the rest of the ones he were similar except for Jack who still had a force signicher but it was quite muted. Yoda was not the only jedi greatly concerned with this, many on the council were as well. Trust them he does not, he was sure if Dooku approached them then they would most likely accept they would and the war would get very bloody if the separatists hired them on a permanent contract. He didn't like what this war was doing to the order.
"Listen, you must try to preserve all life's needless sacrifices, necessary they are not". Yoda pointing his cane at the spartan.
" Learn better grammar you should". Jack said back and Yoda was not amused. Thankfully this was cut short by the fact the droids were closing in.
Meanwhile from an unknown POV
The blue skinned and red eyed figure looked at the site where he saw the escape pod landed the group in white armor and a small green thing came out first followed by mass armored individuales with equal weapons he was easily able to see they were slug throwers. The sniper rifle's scope scanned the area and he was able to see everything below him, even the ship that came down from orbit. He had been trapped here for a month and his supplies were running low. He watched as the two groups went apart and one group was getting ready to face the force that was approaching them. Then what did cause him a shock was when several box-like things appeared out of nowhere. They were being placed in an overlapping field of fire formation.
" Smart". He said to himself as he saw them taking up firing positions where the enemy should come from. He was able to recognize the machines he fought them in space before. Poorly build and program their advantage was in their numbers he was easily able to exploit that with their fighters. He still remembers Picket Force Two and the ships he fought against. For now he would observe this battle and perhaps he could find what he sought. Preparing for the arrival of the Far Outsiders.
