He approached cautiously.

"Naruto?"

There was no response but the crying stopped.

"Naruto?!" he yelled a little more frantically.

This time he answered, "S-Sasuke?"

His voice was unusually high pitched. Sasuke ran into the house and saw a much younger Naruto. His shirt was way too big now and was hanging off of his small frame. He was staring up at Sasuke with wide eyes.

"Sasuke?"

Sasuke stood speechless.

"Sasuke, what happened? Why are you so old? Where am I? Where's Iruka Sensei?"

"Uh, um. You . . . I'm uh, well you're at my house, um and Iruka is probably at his house. And . . ."

What on earth had Itachi done to him?!

"Look Naruto, I don't really know what's going on but let's get you to Kakashi Sensei. He might know what to do."

"Who?"

"Oh um, a nice man who reads horrible books."

He grabbed Naruto's hand softly and led him out of the house. They walked for a couple minutes but Naruto was having trouble and Sasuke was growing restless. Sasuke scooped up the small Jinchuriki and started running to Kakashi's house.

"Sasuke! Put me down! I can walk by myself!"

The Uchiha ignored Naruto's pleas and continued. Pretty soon they arrived at Kakashi's house. Sasuke knocked on the door. They waited for almost five minutes before the door opened. Kakashi stood there looking tired and like he had just gotten out of the shower. His hair was wet and he was slouching. He had the book in his hand and scanned Sasuke up and down before noticing the content in his arms.

His eyes got wide, "Sasuke? What happened?"

"If you let me in I'll tell you about it. Or are you going to let Naruto catch a cold?" Sasuke replied, annoyed.

Kakashi stepped aside and motioned for them to come in. Sasuke set Naruto down and led him into Kakashi's house. It was surprisingly clean aside from a few dishes in the sink and some clothing here and there. Sasuke had expected a lot less from the lazy Jonin.

"Sorry it's so messy. I wasn't expecting visitors." Kakashi said bashfully, "Want to explain what happened?"

"Itachi happened. He hit Naruto with a new Jutsu and long story short he's like this now."

"I see. Has it affected Naruto any other way than physically?"

"His mind seems to be back in the state of whatever age this was."

Kakashi knelt down in front of Naruto who was staring at the two of them talking.

"Hey buddy, I'm Kakashi Hatake. I'm here to help you."

Naruto crossed his arms, "I don't need help! I'm Naruto Uzumaki and I'm gonna be the next Hokage!"

Kakashi glanced doubtfully up at Sasuke who just shrugged.

Naruto unfolded his arms and his gaze turned curiously to the book in the Jonin's hand, "Is that the terrible book Sasuke was talking about? What's it about?"

Kakashi ignored the question and looked at Sasuke, "How do you plan to fix this?"

"I was hoping you could." Sasuke muttered.

"Well, I'd have to give him a thorough investigation of his Chakra and how this Jutsu works, but I would probably be able to fix it."

Sasuke nodded, "Okay."

"Alright then! Let's get started. I'll need a proper place to work. Can you book a hospital room?"

"I, uh, don't think that's how it works. But I can try, I guess." he added after receiving a disappointed look from Kakashi.

"Okay. Naruto, you're gonna come with me." Kakashi turned around to face the child, "Naruto? Oh no."

Sasuke's face was overcome with sheer horror, "He's gone?!"

HellCat180 : I frankly feel like everyone should have seen this coming lol

Naruto : I feel like I would do something like this if I was annoyed that everyone was ignoring me.

Sasuke : Oi Naruto . . . .

Kakashi : (Doesn't even know whats going on because he's reading his book)

HellCat180 : Yo Kakashi, what chapter are you on?

Kakashi : Hm? Oh. Uhhh Chapter 17 page 4.

HellCat180 : (Grabs my copy of the book opens it to that page.) Got it.
