Everything was absolutely calm and natural for all the people living on the planet known as Earth. The sun was shining down on all of it's landmarks, countries and states to help everyone get more active.
In one giant city located within the USA, every thing was seeming peaceful in it's borders and the people were enjoying their days. But then, an explosion rang out from the distance and two colourful blurs, one blue and one red, appeared on top of a skyscraper and were moving at an incredible speed.
A closer look revealed the red blur to be a white hovercraft vehicle with a man riding inside. He had neat brown hair, a brown moustache, a pair of flight goggles, a red flight suit and a pair of black shoes.
The blue blue was revealed to be some kind of strange humanoid creature that had the appearance of a hedgehog, blue quills, a pair of red and white running shoes, and a small brown sack bag hanging behind his back from a brown leash.
As the blue hedgehog was running through the city and avoiding the hovercraft's laser blasts, the entire scene suddenly halted when an explosion appeared behind the hedgehog.
"So, I know what you're thinking. Why is that incredibly handsome hedgehog, which just so happens to be me, being chased by a madman with a moustache from the Civil War?" The Hedgehog asked, apparently narrating the entire scene.
The scene then unfroze and the hedgehog continued running away from the madman riding inside the hovercraft through the streets, dodging many laser blasts that were launched at him.
"Well, to be honest, it feels like I've been running my whole life. Oh! My name's Sonic, by the way." The hedgehog, who was know identified as Sonic, told the audience. "Say, is this too much? Am I going too fast? It's kinda what I do. You know what? Let's back up."
The entire scene began to reverse back to where this entire story first began. To the day when Sonic The Hedgehog came to Earth.

It all starts on a lone island located on a far away world from our own. It contained wide grasslands, hundreds of wide tracks, small beaches, many waterfalls, huge loop-da-loops, and certain blue someone living on it.
"This is the island where I'm from." Sonic told the audience.
Speaking of the speedy hedgehog, a much more younger him was currently running his way across the grass tracks and crossing many obstacles along the way. Falling platforms, loop-da-loop structures, enormous jumping gaps, etc.
It seemed like there was no stopping this energetic creature from speeding his way across all sorts of lands, and that was something Sonic will never let go of.
"It had everything. Sandy beaches, cascading waterfalls, public access to loop-da-loops." Sonic explained. "And I never had to catch a school bus because I could run across the entire island in less than two seconds. Also, there was no school. I know, pretty sweet island, right?"
"Yeah!" Young Sonic cheered enthusiastically as he leaped high into the air.
He then speeded back onto the ground and ran through a large canyon with bridges in it.
"I was born with extraordinary powers and was told to keep them secret." Sonic narrated. "And like any kid, I did the exact opposite."
Young Sonic arrived at a small hut on a nearby cliff in the forest and rolled inside it as a tucked-up ball, jumping onto a sleeping female anthropomorphic owl with brown and white feathers and a golden chest armour piece.
The owl woke up with a surprised expression as Young Sonic uncurled and laughed playfully.
"That's Longclaw. She took care of me." Sonic said. "She was basically Obi-Wan Kenobi. If Obi-Wash Kenobi had a beak and ate mice."
"Sonic, someone could have seen you." Longclaw told the blue hedgehog in concern.
"No one saw me. I'm too fast!" Young Sonic assured. "And, I wanted to bring you this."
He pulled out a small sunflower and presented it to Longclaw, which made her smile in gratefulness. But then, she saw a group of anamorphic tribal people with spears and arrows standing on the tree branches and aiming their weapons at Young Sonic.
"Get down!" Longclaw shouted before grabbing Young Sonic and quickly slamming the door short.
The attackers fired their arrows at the hut and their arrows made dents in it's wooden walls. One arrow even shot through the window and stabbed Young Sonic's flower.
"Turns out with great power comes great power-hungry bad guys." Sonic admitted. "And I led them right to us."
As the attackers entered the hut through the windows and scowled menacingly at their targets, Young Sonic shivered in fear while Longclaw glared hardly. Then, the owl guardian flew right through a nearby window and started flying away with Young Sonic in her talons.
The attackers started firing arrows at Longclaw and she avoided all of them, but then one arrow managed to stab her in the gut and make her grunt in pain before crashing down to the ground with Young Sonic. When she stood back up, Longclaw placed the blue hedgehog on his small feet.
"Listen carefully, Sonic. You have a power unlike anything I have ever seen." Longclaw told him. "And that means someone will always want it. The only way to stay safe is to stay hidden."
Longclaw then pulled out a small golden ring from a brown mini-bag and tossed it, making a swirling rift portal that showed a world that was completely darkened by the nighttime appeared.
"This world is on the far side of the universe." Longclaw explained. "You should be safe there."
"I don't wanna go without you!" Young Sonic replied with a worried expression.
"You must." Longclaw said, handing Young Sonic her bag of rings. "These rings will be your most important possession."
Suddenly, Longclaw gasped when she saw the tribal attackers charging out of the bushes and heading towards them with their spears in hand.
"If you're ever discovered, use one." She instructed, moving Young Sonic towards the portal's entrance. "Never stop running. Now go!"
Young Sonic ram straight through the portal and arrived at the planet Earth. But when he looked back, he saw Longclaw guarding the portal and preparing to face the attackers by herself.
"Longclaw!" Young Sonic called out fearfully before dropping his bag of rings on the ground and running towards his guardian as fast as he could.
"Goodbye, Sonic." Longclaw said with a soft smile.
"NO!" Young Sonic yelled before the portal suddenly vanished into partials when he reached it. "NNNOOO!"
When Young Sonic stopped running, he panted and looked on in sadness and depression. He was now alone in a world he knew nothing about. What was he going to do, now?

10 years later…
Things were very normal during a sunny day in the USA. Birds were chirping as they flew above the heads of others, flowers were blooming in the sun's energising rays, and many different creatures were living their lives the best they could. Not a single major event was taking place around the landmark.
Within the large city of Los Angelos, the streets and pavements were being crowded with tons of people who were attempting to make it to work it other important locations, and vehicles that were stuck in a lot of traffic. But, there was someone special who had a much different daily routine for her days.
At a small supermarket with a green roof and a medium-sized parking area, the automatic doors opened up and out stepped a teenage Thai-American girl who was about 13 years old and had light-brown skin, bushy brown hair, and a slender build, holding two shopping bags in her left hand. She was wearing a white t-shirt with pink sleeves and an orange flame symbol, a yellow jacket that was tied around her waist, white socks, and a pair of purple and white shoes.
This girl's name was Anne Boonchuy, someone how has seen some unordinary things during a few months of being away from home. In fact, it was somewhere that wasn't even on Earth. Anne was in fact teleported into a world filled with talking frogs named Amphibia.
When she was first alone in Amphibia with no experience in survival, Anne had lots of trouble living in a world that was inhabited with giant carnivores insects. Fortunately, she was eventually found and taken in by a small frog family called The Plantars. Overtime and with the Plantars' help, Anne turned from an irresponsible rule-breaking teen girl into a caring and selfless warrior who never gives up on anyone or anything.
But Anne wasn't the only human who got trapped in Amphibia. Her two best friends, Sasha Waybright and Marcy Wu, were transported along with her at the same time on her own birthday. Sasha ended up with the toads, and Marcy was left with the newts. Some complicated stuff happened between them, but they still managed to reunite after so many days.
Unfortunately, things only got much more worse when they found out that the ruler of Amphibia, King Andrias, actually plans to use the music box that got Anne and her friends trapped in Amphibia to conquer his world, Earth and many more worlds. Anne and the Plantars successfully made it to Earth during their battle against the king, but Sasha and Marcy got stuck in Amphibia.
So right now, they're working really hard to find a way back so they could help Anne's friends, the fellow residents of Amphibia and defeat Andrias before he could arrive on Earth with his army of robot frogs.
As she heard a buzzing noise in her pocket, Anne reached into it and pulled out her mobile phone. She instantly recognised the called and answered it, holding the phone to her ear.
"Hey, mom. Yeah, I'm totally fine." Anne said with a smile. "Just stopped by at the city's store to pick up a few things. Sprig and the others didn't try anything to blow their cover, did they?"
Words from Anne's mother, Mrs Boonchuy, were heard from the other side of her phone and she sighed in relief.
"That's good. I don't want them leaving after the whole incident with that Mr X guy." Anne commented. "Well, I'll just let you know that I'll be home in time for dinner. Can't wait for some of your Thai Beef Stir-Fry."
But as she was talking on the phone, Anne didn't see a speedy blue object move past her. She quickly felt the the strong wind behind her and the Thai-American girl turned around to see nothing.
"Huh, what the heck was that?" Anne asked herself before she noticed something weird on the floor.
She picked up the small object and it was revealed to be some kind of blue quill, which was radiating some kind of electrical energy.
"What is this? It's super weird." Anne admitted before she quickly went back to talking to her phone. "No, mom, I wasn't talking about you. I just felt something really fast move behind me. Anyway, I'll see you when I'm back home. Love you, too."
.
As Anne placed her phone back into her pocket, she then approached her scooter, which was parked next to the shop, and started riding it back to her house outside of the city. Meanwhile, a green turtle was slowly making it's way to the other side of the road, while no one seemed to notice it.
But then, a car was beginning to drive up towards the turtle and it looked like it was about to get run over, until the same speedy blue object caught the reptile just in time and made it's way out of the city where no one would see it.
As the fast object stopped moving, it was soon revealed to be Sonic The Hedgehog himself, now ten years older than he used to be and wearing a pair of worn-our shoes on his feet.
"Whoa, buddy! You almost got yourself killed, out there!" Sonic told the turtle. "What are you, some kind of adrenaline junkie? It must be rough being slow all the time."
The blue hedgehog then thought of something and smiled at the turtle.
"Tell you what. Today is your lucky day." He said.

Later on, Sonic was seen racing through the roads outside of Los Angelos and was carrying the turtle in front of him, which smiled widely from the strong air pushing against it.
"Whoo hoo hoo hoo! Have you ever felt so alive?!" Sonic asked enthusiastically as he held the turtle higher. "This is great! You're doing amazing!"
But then, the turtle flew right out of Sonic's hands.
"Oh, geez!" Sonic panicked before rushing straight back, returning with the turtle safely in his hands and kept on speeding. "Good recovery!"
The blue hedgehog continued speeding down the streets and made sure to stay clear of any vehicles with people driving them so he wouldn't be seen. He cheered loudly in enthusiasm, leaving a trail of blue behind him that quickly faded away.

The scene then changed to Sonic arriving in a large forest, where he placed the turtle on the ground and left it shaking.
"Let's keep this our little secret, okay?" Sonic asked. "You never saw me. I was never here."
Within a nanosecond, Sonic ran away and started racing his way through the entire woods before he arrived at a small hole and entered through it. He then landed inside a cave that was filled with all sorts of Earth properties.
After rolling off a beanbag, the blue hedgehog began doing all sorts of random things like using a hairbrush as a microphone to do singing, practicing some sweet dance moves, pretending to perform some Rock 'N Roll with an inflatable guitar, and played some jump rope with himself.
"So what were you expecting? A dirty little hedgehog eating berries and struggling to survive?" Sonic asked as he went back to narrating. "Think again. Because I am living my best life on Earth. I've got a library…"
Sonic was seen reading a bunch of superhero comics at an insanely fast pace.
"A home gym…" The blue hedgehog continued.
He was then seen running in the center of a washing machine to do some exercise.
"And a state-of-the-art security system." Sonic finished.
Finally, the blue hedgehog was wearing a white Chinese bandana and skilfully practised with two pairs of nunchucks. But when he started getting the hang of it, one of the nunchucks whacked him in the face and he collapsed to the ground with a shout of pain.
Sonic decided to play some table tennis with himself on a table made from a street sign. The blue hedgehog made a 'bring it on' gesture to himself and raced to the other side before hitting the ball with his racket, repeatedly hitting the ball at both sides with his unmatched speed.
But when he tried hitting the ball from the side, he accidentally smacked his small bag and made it spill out some rings and a map when it fell on the ground.
"Oh no!" Sonic gasped worriedly before he scooped up his rings and placed them back inside his bag.
The blue hedgehog grabbed the map and it showed many different worlds on it, including Earth and his original home world.
"And If I'm ever discovered, I'll follow Longclaw's instructions and use my rings to escape to a new planet." Sonic explained. "A nice, safe world filled only with mushrooms."
Holding up a ring from his bag, Sonic tossed it and it created a portal that was filled with nothing but ginormous mushrooms. It had absolutely no life forms or food on it, too.
"Gross, smelly mushrooms." Sonic added.
"I hate mushrooms." The blue hedgehog grumbled to himself.

Back outside and on the edge of a cliff, Sonic zoomed by and he looked down on the entire city of Los Angelos. To be more specific, he was eyeing a small town with a few locals in it.
"But let's not worry about all that." Sonic narrated. "This is Los Angelos, the greatest place on Earth."
Within a few minutes, Sonic zoomed down to the town he was watching and made sure to hide behind the corner of a nearby house so no one would discover him.
"These are my people and, dare I say, I am their lovable space creature." Sonic said. "So what if they don't know I exist?"
As he's looking around town, Sonic then spots Anne riding her scooter towards her family house and she parks next to the garage.
"Hey, guys! I'm home!" Anne called out, walking to the front door with her shopping.
"My favourite person is the Frog Princess." Sonic told the audience. "She's all about breaking rules, doing the most extreme stuff, and is always super awesome at all of the other things she does best at. A few days ago, she and two of her best female human friends, Hangout Queen and Clumsy Brains, vanished from town and they've been missing for a bunch of months. But then, Frog Princess showed up and I was super happy to see her again. Still wish I knew what happened to Hangout Queen and Clumsy Brains."
As he quickly made his way to the Boonchuys residence, Sonic looked inside and he saw two human adults inside.
The man had bronze skin, short dark-brown hair, a yellow polo-shirt with three red lines and a blue shield-like symbol on the center area, as well as three more red lines at the back, a pair of blue jeans, and white socks.
The woman beside him looked almost like Anne, but she had a few light wrinkles on the side of her eyes, a purplish-blue sweater, a pair of light-grey jeans, greenish-yellow earrings, and pink crocs.
These two were Anne's parents, Mr and Mrs Boonchuy.
"Frog Princess lives with her parents, Mama Cooker and Papa Wheels." Sonic said. "Mama Cooker usually works at this food building called a 'Thai Go', and Papa Wheels is usually driving his tiny two-wheeled car or the actual thing to other places. They were just as happy as I was when Frog Princess came back to Los Angelos."
"Honey, where did you put the sweet chilli sauce?" Mrs Boonchuy asked as she was working in the kitchen.
"Try the top cupboard." Mr Boonchuy replied.
"I already did." Mrs Boonchuy told him. "You misplaced it. Again."
"Uh… sorry?" Mr Boonchuy said with a nervous smile, causing his wife to roll her eyes annoyingly.
Sonic watched the two parents have a small feud and only chuckled in amusement, leaning his chin against both of his hands. After a little while, the blue hedgehog, zoomed to the other side of the house and saw three more individuals settling in the living room. But the difference between them and the Boonchuys was that none of these three were really human. They were some strange frog creatures.
The first one was an elderly frog with orange skin, wrinkles, four-fingered hands, two-toed feet, and white tufts of hair on the side of his feet. He wore a trench coat, a pair of slip-on shoes and resting next to him were a fedora and a pair of red glasses that included a fake noise.
The second was coloured reddish-pink, short orange hair and two-toed feet. He was wearing a maroon jacket underneath a pale and dark-brown striped shirt, black shorts, light-grey and white shoes with dark-blue stripes, and next to him was a dark-green beanie and an ivory face-mask with a cat's mouth imprinted on it.
Finally, the third and last one looked more like a tadpole with small legs and tiny arms than an actual frog. She had dark-purple irises and wore a blue fisher's hat with baby-blue stripes, a raincoat, rain boots, and a wig.
These three were Hopediah 'Hop Pop' Plantar, Sprig Plantars and Polly Plantar. They all came from another world, just like Sonic.
"Also living with Princess Frog is Long Tongue, Geezer Toad and Baby Face." Sonic narrated. "As you can probably, they're not humans. They're a group of weird talking frogs that don't come from my old home. And as a matter of fact, I once saw them without their funny disguises and I was pretty much shocked to learn I wasn't the only creature from another world who was living on Earth. Still wish I knew where they came from, though."
As the Plantars were watching a game show on the house's TV, Anne walked into the living room and gasped when she saw them.
"Guys! What're you doing without your head disguises?!" She questioned. "You'll get exposed if someone looked in the house!"
"Relax, Anne. Nobody would ever wanna peek inside someone else's home." Sprig said reassuringly.
"That would be very rude and creepy." Hop Pop added.
"You worry too much, girl." Polly commented while waving her tiny hand, making Anne roll her eyes. "Nobody's gonna peek inside like a weirdo."
"Anyone but this blue boy." Sonic whispered to himself with a smirk.
(Linebreak)
The scene then changed to outside, where Anne, Mr Boonchuy and the Plantars were greeted by a middle-aged man with a white beard, a white long-sleeved shirt under a brown vest, and blue jeans.
He showed them a very horrifying and crude picture of Sonic to them. Anne and her dad chuckled in response, while the Plantars simply tilted their heads in confusion.
"There is one person in town who's actually onto me." Sonic admitted. "He calls me the Blue Devil."
"I almost caught him, last night." The old man told Anne, her father and the Plantars.
(Linebreak)
"Say hello to Crazy Carl." Sonic introduced.
In the woods at night, Crazy Carl was seen running through the trees and shined his light through the dark. Suddenly, a speedy blue blur ran around him and started setting off traps that were laid on the ground by the old man.
"We have fun, together." Sonic said.
As he quickly ran ahead to catch the 'Blue Devil', Crazy Carl accidentally got caught in a leg trap and was hanging upside down.
"I KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE! AND I KNOW YOU'RE REAL!" Carl shouted into the dark woods.
"No, I'm not!" Sonic called out from a distance.
(Linebreak)
Later on, the Boonchuys and Plantars were all in the living room and resting on the couch, preparing to watch a movie.
"Movie night is my favourite." Sonic said.
The blue hedgehog appeared behind the window and was crossing his fingers tightly.
"Please, please, please, please." He whispered before slightly opening one of his eyes to see the movie on screen was Speed. "Yes! Keanu! You are a national treasure."
The movie scene changes to Jack talking on the phone.
"When I find you…" He growled angrily.
"Pop quiz, hotshot. There's a bomb on the bus." Howard Payne said on the other side.
"Pop quiz, hotshot." Sonic said to himself, making a chef kiss. "It's a classic line."
Anne and the Plantars chuckled while watching the movie, while Mr and Mrs Boonchuy simply smiled and said nothing.
"Wow! This Earth movie just amazing!" Sprig remarked.
"So much action and violence!" Polly added with a wide grin.
"Glad you guys are enjoying it." Anne replied. "It's not gonna last forever when we take our trip back to Amphibia."
"And make sure the evil Newt king doesn't invade your world. We know." Hop Pop said, making the others laugh lightly.
"You got that right, HP." Sprig told him.
Sonic was watching them to and he chuckled in a humorous way.
"Basically, we're like a family." He said. "Even though we haven't met, yet."
(Linebreak)
Inside a therapy room, Sonic was dressed as a psychiatrist with glasses and was holding a clipboard and pencil in both of his hands.
"You don't zink your prolonged isolation is making you a bit crazy, perhaps?" Sonic asked himself in a German accent.
He was then seen laying down on a smooth couch, pretending to be a patient.
"Crazy? Me?" Sonic questioned with a chuckle. "No way, Doc. You got me all wrong."
"And despite all these so-called friends of yours, deep down…" Psychiatrist Sonic said before he took off his glasses and went back to his normal accent. "You're still rather lonely?"
(Linebreak)
Sonic began to walk away from the house, but then he took one last look inside and watched the Boonchuys and Plantars had a laughable time watching the movie.
"Perhaps afraid you'll be alone, forever?" Sonic asked himself sadly.
As much as he wanted to actually meet the people he got to know on Earth very badly, Sonic knew that wasn't an option for him. Staying secret and away from anyone who wanted to steal his powers was his only priority.
With a sad sigh, Sonic looked down to the ground and took his leave from the Boonchuys residence to return to his cave and get a bit of shut-eye.
