Disclaimer: I don't own Amphibia, Sonic The Hedgehog or their characters, but I do own two OC's in this chapter

As Sonic went back to his secret burrow in the woods, Anne Boonchuy was currently upstairs in her room and typing in some stuff on her laptop. Her expression seemed to be very focused at the moment.

"Come on, there has to be more stuff about people finding weird frog objects from another world." Anne said quietly. "One piece of info would be super helpful."

The Thai-American girl kept searching through the website, but found nothing that involved news related to Amphibia or other worlds.

"Ugh! I can't believe how useless the internet's been for me, lately!" Anne complained. "Why the heck did I even bother doing this before dinner?!"

"Having some trouble, Anne?" A voice asked as Anne looked to see Sprig entering her room.

"Obviously. I've been trying to find some info about anything that looks like it's been from Amphibia, but I've found absolutely nothing." Anne explained with an annoyed sigh. "Sometimes, the internet can be a real pain in the butt."

"On the bright side, it's got a lot of cat videos." Sprig reminded, trying to cheer his best friend up.

"Heh. True to that, my froggy friend." Anne chuckled as she managed to put on a small smile.

"Anyway, Mr and Mrs B just wanted me to let you know that dinner's almost ready." Sprig said.

"Sweet! I can't wait to have some noodle soup!" Anne stated excitedly.

Just then, Anne's laptop made a buzzing sound and she saw that someone was calling her on it. After she read the caller's name, she gained a huge smile.

"No way! It's them!" Anne remarked.

"Them?" Sprig repeated in confusion.

When Anne answered the call, she was greeted by the appearances of two young Thai-American individuals. The first one was a female who looked to be sixteen years old with the same coloured skin as Anne. She had chocolate-brown hair styled into a wavy ponytail by a green elastic band and a gold ring piercing on her left ear. She was wearing a white tank-top with three green lines, a lime-green beaded bracelet on her right wrist, white straight trousers and a pair of white flip-flops with a small green flower on both of them.

The second Thai-American was a young boy who seemed to be younger than both Anne and the other girl, around seven years old to be exact. He donned short brown hair that was slightly messy, a blue t-shirt with arctic-blue short sleeves and a front image of a Penguin surfing, a pair of light-brown shorts, white ankle socks and blue and white running shoes.

"Hey, cous!" The girl said kindly.

"Hello there, Anne!" The boy greeted.

"Davika! Jason!" Anne said with a big smile. "Man, it's so awesome to see you two!"

"Same here!" Davika replied. "I wish we could've called you sooner, but we've been really busy on our side of the country."

"Relax, Davs. I understand." Anne assured.

"Uh, Anne? Who are those humans in your magic box?" Sprig asked quietly.

"Oh. They're my cousins, Davika and Jason Chen." Anne answered. "They used to live in Los Angelos with me, but then they moved over to a place called San Francisco."

"So, how are Uncle Bee and Aunt Oum doing?" Davika asked. "They weren't themselves after you and your two best friends vanished."

"It's true." Jason agreed.

"They're completely fine, guys." Anne said reassuringly. "Everything's been going pretty well for us these past couple of days."

"That's great to hear." Davika replied, giving her cousin a wink. "By the way, have you heard about this weird frog superhero who did a bit of heroic saving a few days ago? He was like a knockoff version of Spider-Man."

"He even battled this weird man with a robot arm." Jason explained. "But he definitely wasn't Doctor Octopus."

"Yeah, I heard." Anne said, shooting a glare at Sprig.

The frog boy only chuckled nervously in response as he slowly moved away from Anne.

"Also, I'm guessing Crazy Carl is still talking about the 'Blue Devil' back in town?" Davika asked with a smirk, making some mocking signs with her fingers.

"Like you wouldn't believe." Anne chuckled.

"He's so funny!" Jason said with a humorous laugh.

"Yeah. One-Eyed Wally crazy." Sprig agreed quietly.

"Well, we should probably go now." Davika admitted. "Just make sure Aunt Oum doesn't end up divorcing Uncle Bee like our mom wants her to."

"I'll make sure." Anne replied. "See you later, guys!"

"Goodbye, Anne!" Jason said, waving to his cousin before Davika ended the call.

"Well, those two seemed nice." Sprig commented.

"Yep. They're the coolest cousins I've ever had." Anne said in agreement.

"Anne! Dinner's ready!" Her mother called out from downstairs.

"Coming, mom!" Anne stated.

She got out of her chair and raced downstairs with Sprig, arriving at the family table with Polly and Hop Pop already on it.

"You all set for some dinner, Anne?" Hop Pop asked.

"I sure am! Bring on the chow!" Anne said with an eager grin.

Bee and Oum then arrived with plates of Thai food for their daughter and house guests.

"Someone's in a good eating mood!" Bee joked. "Here you guys go!"

"Thanks, dad!" Anne replied. "Also, mom, I had a chat with Davika and Jason and they just told me to make sure you don't divorce Dad like your sister wants you to."

"Ugh! Is she still going on about that?" Oum asked while pinching the bride of her nose.

"Apparently." Anne answered.

"She just won't let it go, will she?" Bee asked with an annoyed sigh. "I just don't get why she hates me so much."

"It's just one of them things with marriage." Hop Pop replied.

"You don't know the half of it." Bee said. "Anne's aunt has hated me way longer than we've been married."

"She must have issues." Polly muttered.

"You have no idea." Oum said.

"So, Anne, have you been preparing to go back to Amphibia to stop that evil Newt King?" Bee asked in curiosity.

"You bet I have!" Anne replied confidently. "I'm gonna march into that castle and smack Andrias in his big old tail!"

"We will destroy him!" Polly shouted with a malicious grin.

"Calm down, Polly." Hop Pop told her. "We've still got plenty of time to practice on that."

"Fine." Polly grumbled under her breath.

As Sprig was poking his fork into his dinner, who soon made a soft sigh and turned towards Anne.

"Anne, I've been thinking." He said.

"Thinking what, Sprig?" Anne asked.

"Do you ever stop to think that maybe you should try telling any of your other friends about the coming invasion?" Sprig questioned.

Anne was very surprised to hear this thought about it for a moment.

"I don't know." She admitted.

"We're gonna need all the help we can get if we wanna save your world, Anne." Hop Pop told her with a soft expression.

"Well, I guess that's true." Anne said as she rubbed her arm in a nervous way. "But, we don't want to cause a panic or anything."

"Chill, girl. They won't freak out about a crazy king wanting to travel to Earth so he can destroy your whole planet." Polly replied.

"Jeez. That's really reassuring, Polly." Anne said in sarcasm, making the young tadpole pout in annoyance.

"Say, why don't we start your explanation speech tomorrow?" Sprig suggested.

"Well…" Anne said with a thoughtful look before she smiled at her best friend. "Okay. Sounds good to me."

"Just don't say something that'll make people think you're a crazy woman." Polly instructed.

"Kind of hard to do that." Anne admitted.

"I'm sure you'll be able to come up with something understandable, sweetie." Oum assured kindly. "You always do."

"What your mother said." Bee added.

"Thanks, you two." Anne replied.

"Look on the bright side." Hop Pop said with a smile. "There's no possible way things could get any crazier for you."

"Yeah. That's true." Anne agreed.

The next morning, the scene showed Anne in her room and facing in front of her with a calm smile.

"Thank you all for coming to my house." Anne said. "Now, I've been thinking a lot about this and it's time I told you the truth. I was actually stuck in a world full of talking frogs, I got to make friends in a bunch of different places, I later reunited with my two best friends so we could work together to find a way home, we found out the king of the frog world is evil and plans to invade Earth, and I now need to get back so I can defeat him and save us all. So, does that all sound understandable to you guys?"

The scene then showed that Anne was talking to… a stuffed panda that was sitting on her bed. Anne was silent for a few seconds before she sighed.

"Well, it's a start." She said to herself. "Now I just need to try and tell my story to somebody who isn't a stuffed animal."

The Thai-American girl looked away from her stuffed panda and she looked out her window, staring at the clouds in the sky.

"Wonder what other crazy surprises I'll be introduced to, this year?" Anne said.

While Anne Boonchuy was busy doing her own things, Sonic The Hedgehog was hiding behind a tree and watching a baseball game that was taking place outside of town.

"Whoa, the playoffs!" Sonic whispered in excitement.

The blue hedgehog watched a kid in the pitcher area bat a ball that was thrown his way and it was successfully able to go over the metal fence, making it a Home-Run. Sonic zoomed underneath the visitor stand and witnessed the boy who scored the Home-Run for his team dash around all three basses and arrive back to his teammates, giving them all high-faves.

Seeing the boy having so many friends to celebrate with made Sonic open his mouth in complete amazement. Having some friends to hang out with and do so many fun things is exactly what he's wanted for the past ten years.

Later, when it once again reached nighttime and everyone left the baseball field, Sonic walked onto the grass and examined the entire area with a smile on his face.

"Wow! So cool." Sonic said quietly before noticing some baseball equipment.

The scene then changed to Sonic wearing a red pitcher's helmet and holding a bat in his hands.

"Bottom of the ninth, tie score, and exactly who you want at the plate with the game on the line, Sonic!" Sonic said enthusiastically, pretending to commentate for himself.

He then speeded over to the thrower's area and was now wearing a green cap.

"But, staring him down from the pitcher's mound is the most fearsome southpaw in Los Angelos, also Sonic!" He said before becoming the pitcher, again.

"Okay. Focus, Sonic." The blue hedgehog whispered to himself. "If you win this game, you'll be the most beloved kid in Los Angelos."

Sonic then sped to one of the catcher positions and he did a bunch of good-luck motions like gently slapping his cheeks and making armpit farts.

"Hit it to the guy in left!" Sonic called out. "He's a real space case!"

Moving to a different position, Sonic stared up into the sky and blue out some bubblegum like an idiot before becoming the thrower again, rolling his eyes in annoyance.

"Ugh. I can't with that guy." He muttered.

Sonic once again sped to another position, this time as the catcher.

"Hey, batter Sonic. Hey, batter Sonic." He said while making finger signs. "Suh-wing, batter Sonic."

Once again becoming the thrower, Sonic tossed the baseball straight forwards and quickly shifted to the pitcher area before knocking the ball away with all his might.

The scene shifted to Sonic as another guy in the catching field, sitting on the ground and sniffing a nearby daisy. But when he spotted the baseball flying above him, he gasped and quickly got on his feet.

"I got it! I got it! I got it!" Sonic shouted as he attempted to catch the ball, only got him to slightly miss. "I don't got it."

As the pitcher, Sonic threw away his bat and started to run around the basses while the fielder Sonic grabbed the ball and tossed it straight at the playing field, slightly missing pitcher Sonic by the head.

"Go home! Go home!" Sonic called out as the coach.

"Come on!" Catcher Sonic taunted.

Pitcher Sonic jumped straight at the home base with a shout before he successfully made it before Catcher Sonic could slam the baseball he caught onto the base.

"Safe!" Sonic yelled as a referee.

As Sonic skidded across the dirt, he soon stood back up with a victorious smile on his face.

"Yes! Yes, yes, yes, yes! I did it!" Sonic cheered. "Did you see that?! I did it! I did it.

He held his hand open for anyone to give a high-five… only to realise that there was no one else around. He was still alone, just like he has been for the past ten years of living on Earth.

Looking around in silence, Sonic soon became saddened and depressed by the fact that he's got no one to be with. No friends. No parents. No siblings. No guardian. Nobody.

"I really am alone." Sonic said while closing his eyes in sadness. "All alone. Forever."

Throwing his red helmet onto the ground, Sonic started running across the entire field with blazing speed and slowly picked up more speed as time went by. He kept on circling around the feeling and gained an intense expression on anxiety, but he didn't notice that he body began emitting a large amount of blue electricity.

Finally, after reaching his top speed limit and realising a loud cry of anguish, Sonic blasted out a pulse of powerful blue lightning that reached throughout the entire land of Los Angelos and beyond. It even managed to hit a satellite from in space. Everything that was run by electric power was immediately shut down and this left everything in a pitch-black state.

Having finally calmed down from his little stress walk, Sonic noticed what he had just done and looked around with a nervous expression.

"I'm sure no one noticed that giant blue explosion, right?" Sonic asked before he quickly fled the scene.

But what he didn't know was that this was only the beginning of something special for him and a certain human girl.
