"Hi, I'm Edward Cullen. Looking forward to talking to you."

I was thinking of removing 'Not looking for anything serious' from my profile as my profile was getting matched only with the douchebags, but that's when my profile got matched with Edward Cullen.

I took a quick look at his profile.

He was 30, worked as a Product manager in one of the top companies.

He was interested in books, music and movies.

His wife passed away a year and half ago, and he hadn't been on a date ever since.

I looked up his Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn profiles.

After my experience with Jasper, I preferred to do thorough research on everyone. I knew I could never be sure about everything, but at least doing this gave some peace of mind.

None of his profiles seemed to have updated for a year and half, probably since his wife passed away. All the information he had mentioned here seemed genuine.

Oh, his wife seemed to be pregnant at that time. That's really sad, I thought.

But anyway, he didn't seem like an asshole at first glance.

I guess I could take a chance, I thought.

"Hi, I'm Bella Swan. I'm looking forward to talking to you too."

We kept chatting through the text for some time, mostly on the casual topics, and he didn't seem too bad. I guess it was a good profile to get my dating life back on the track.

"I want to make something clear right at the beginning," he said, "I'm honestly not looking forward to having any serious relationship right now. I know your profile says something similar, but I still want to make it clear, so you can stop it right here if it's a red flag."

I wasn't looking for anything serious either. And he seemed really honest, which was a good thing.

Yeah, I should definitely give this a try.

"I'm not looking for anything serious either," I said.

"Good to know that." he said.
