"Thank God, you kicked her out," Alice said to me.

"I didn't kick her out," I said, "She didn't want to stay here, and I think that was a fair decision."

I could totally understand her decision. I mean, why would she want to allow any kind of disrespect to herself from her so-called boyfriend's family?

"Oh, so you still don't plan to break up with her? Wow!" she said.

Well, I didn't plan to, but she might!

She said we'd talk about 'everything' once I was back there. I wasn't sure at the moment what all was included in this 'everything'!

"Why did you marry Jasper again?" I asked. Wasn't he a proven cheater and asshole?

"Jasper really regretted his past mistakes," she said.

"Alice, that's straight from the cheaters 101 textbook," I shook my head.

"We've been meeting since awhile, and he's a totally changed person now," she said.

"That's again from the same textbook," I said.

"Stop being sarcastic," she snapped.

"I'm sorry, but I really have a bad feeling about this," I said, "I've a feeling you're going to get through all the trauma again."

"It's not going to happen," she said, "I said the same thing to Mom and Dad as well. Please don't worry about it! Jazz is the love of my life, and I know him. I want to give him a chance, and honestly, you all should stop judging him, too."

"I don't know," I said. I never really had a good feeling about him, even before the news of his cheating came up. He always seemed like an asshole to me. I had tried to warn Alice about it before, but she never listened.

"Can I be really blunt?" she said.

"About what?" I said.

"It was not really Jasper's fault. It was your girlfriend... She seduced him. She took advantage of him."

"Alice, please!" I glared at her.

"And I see she's done something similar with you," she said.

"Look... I have been going out with her for about a year now, and I trust her enough to know that she was not at fault. Jasper had lied to her, and he had lied to you, too. And he's still lying to you, but I don't know what's wrong with you."

"A year? Really? You've been going out with her for a year? What's wrong with you?" she said.

"I've the same question for you. What's wrong with you?" I said.

"Look..." she said, "Jasper and I want to live a peaceful life now. Please, please keep the homewrecker, aka your girlfriend away from us."

I didn't want to create any drama at Rosalie's wedding, but I honestly hoped I could keep my calm.

"You better stay away from me while we're here," I said to her.
