Cesar or Tempest here. Finally kept my word. I said this chapter would come out soon and here it is. It's also the longest in a long time. So without further or do enjoy.
Carnus P.O.V
"So what are you doing in a hole in the ground?" She looked at me with an eyebrow raised. Beatrice had been even more reclusive since Jaxson left. Makes me feel bad as they were in such an early part of their relationship.
"Well would you believe me if I said I was checking the gas pipes to the camp?" She continued to stare at me. "Fine you got me. I was looking for buried treasure." Another unimpressed stare.
"Tell me the truth, Burns." I'm almost flattered she remembers my last name.
"Well we should probably go somewhere more private then." I can trust Beatrice. Especially since she and Jaxson were practically dating.
"We'll go to the shore." She turned and left. She could've at least given me a helping hand. I quickly climbed out of the hole and caught up to her. It was already dark. I swear I was only there for a little bit. How is it already dark? We reached the shore where the waves crashed on the rocks. "So explain to me what you were doing down there?"
"I was looking for ways to find Jaxson and the others. That's the place where I got this." I lifted up my arm showing her the bracelet. "It hides my aura and makes me seem like a normal human.
"You do know that place is not natural." She responded.
"Well I expected that when the hermit living under there has an apartment with a talking couch."
"What?" She looked absolutely dumbfounded.
"There's a hermit living under the camp that has an apartment and a talking couch." I repeated again more slowly.
"Were they the one who gave you that bracelet?" She asked.
"Yeah. Apparently he makes things." A short pause. "Don't tell anyone yet. I don't want any unwanted attention especially with the Hunters still here."
"I understand. If you find Jaxson can you let me slap him first?" She asked. I could see why he liked her so much.
"No promises. Me or Lou might accidentally beat the shit out of him. Hey, can you sense the Hunters?" She shook her head.
"Not unless they are near me. Otherwise no. And that only goes for my tree as well." I forget Dryads have trees.
"Speaking of your tree, we've never seen your tree." Her face flushed red.
"You're not supposed to see my tree. That's a private thing you don't show your tree to anyone." Oh so that's how it is.
"My fault didn't know that."
"It's okay just don't ask any other Dryad."
"Don't worry." I assured her. "I'll see you later. I need to get to my cabin. Have a goodnight." She nodded.
"You too." I left the shore and went back on the trail. I wonder if Lee is wondering where I am. I'm supposed to show more of the bracelet today. My peaceful walk was sadly ended by a Huntress.
"Name and Godly parent!" I heard her to the left of me. I could hear the bow string. It was too tense, definitely a recent recruit. Or archery isn't her specialty.
"Carnus Burns son of Apollo." I sighed. This shit is already getting tiring. And they've barely been here.
"Password?"
"Lighthouse." So many passwords and gates to go through.
"You're breaking your curfew." She walked out of the trees.
"I had permission from my counselor."
She nodded.
"So where were you?" By Zeus's name. Everytime I run into these huntresses I get interrogated.
"I was at the shore. I like going to the shore when I can't sleep. It helps me relax." Another nod she threw her bow on her back.
"I'll take you back to your cabin."
"No need. I think I know the way."
"Wasn't asking." Nice. Usually I liked being bossed around by women. But they take it too far. Well I continued walking with my new companion.
"So why are you guarding the woods? Thalia's tree protects the camp." No answer. I bet if I was a kid or girl I would get an answer at least. I didn't try talking after that. I reached the cabin where Lee was waiting outside. "Hey Lee."
"Hey Carnus. Did you get in trouble during your nightly routine?" I shook my head.
"He was past curfew. It doesn't matter whether or not you're a Counselor if you do that again I will have to report you. For now you get a warning."
"My fault ma'am. Just trying to keep things normal." Lee answered.
"Just watch yourselves." She walked off. Lee waited until we were inside the cabin and she had left before he said anything.
"Jaxson where the fuck were you!" You were supposed to meet us again today. He paused. "Thunder."
"Lightning. I'm sorry I was working on the bracelet." He shook his head.
"Just don't pull this shit again. We're meeting again on Friday." I nodded as I went to my bunk. Will was already fast asleep. He was quite a heavy sleeper anyways.
I layed down looking at the bracelet on my wrist. I caressed it looking for any gaps or mistakes but it was smooth. Eventually I fell asleep.
I was on top of a hill. It was warm, sunny and I could see birds flying around. But I could hear marching. An army of golden soldiers marched in silence as they're spears pointed to the sky. They towered over me as they walked past. Not sending a glance my way. As they continued their march they began to disintegrate into golden dust.
The scene changed. It was a dense forest. I heard rustling and chirping all around me. As I could feel the mist hit my face. I took a couple steps crunching leaves along the way. Before I took another the Forest went silent. Then rustling. The birds began to fly away as deer rushed past me. Followed by wolves. Then all the other animals ran past me. Boars, foxes, rabbits and bears. None cared for me. They ran in fear as the rustling continued until once again it was silent.
The scene changed again. Three statues cried blood as they played on harps. It was enchanting to see their fingers move elegantly. No movement was wasted. The blood began covering the marble floor. They continued bleeding until they stopped playing their harps. A Phoenix emerged from one of their bodies. It cawed as it flew into me.
I woke up in a cold sweat. It was still dark but I could see my father's chariot rising. I decided I'll start my day early and headed towards the arena. Hedge was already beating straw dummies with his bat when I arrived.
"You're getting slow Hedge." I said to him, grabbing two wooden spears.
"Well unlike you cupcake I haven't had my beauty sleep." He stopped and turned to me. For his size he was quite intimidating at times.
"What were you doing watching your Chuck Norris DVD again?" I asked jokingly.
"I wish." He sighed. He must've watched those DVDs hundreds of times.
"So what happened then?"
"The council had us meet before the sun was up. Apparently they received orders all satyrs forty two years old and older have to go searching for more Demigods. So I'll be leaving in the next couple days for Nevada."
"Could be worse. You got Vegas, maybe you'll win something." I answered dismissively. I'd always wanted to gamble in Vegas.
"You wouldn't mind helping me pack up right now would you?" He wants to talk.
I nodded as I put my spears away. Well it seems I'll have something to report. We walked side by side. Glancing side to side.
"So Hedge. Did you ever get approval to build a gym?" He had been wanting a gym built for some time. For his own personal use mainly.
"No I haven't. The old horse said he'll look over my claims soon. That was a couple months ago."
Most campers don't ever see a Satyrs home. Very similar to the Tolkien Halflings they live in hollowed out hills. They hollow out the entirety of their hill to limit the smell of monsters so I hear. Which is why their floors always have cement or some other barrier. They're other homes Satyrs have. Such as the traditional huts of reeds the Elders live in. Hedge's home was somewhat messy. With posters of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Chuck Norris and Rocky Balboa on every wall. His TV constantly played repeats of old Mike Tyson fights.
"What's up Hedge?"
"Something's starting Carnus. We had the cleansing today as well. The smell of monsters is seeping into the camp. And we've been seeing more movement outside camp and all across the East Coast. The West Coast has been silent apart from some whispers in the Sierra's. But still something is happening."
"Do you think it has anything to do with the disappearance of the campers?" Hedge nodded.
"Most definitely. Something definitely happened to them. Especially to Callestan. You need to be careful Carnus. The Gods have been silent for a reason. Chiron hasn't been protesting either. He's been missing classes and Mr. D has been disappearing at times. Chiron and the Gods wouldn't be silent to see their children disappear. But, it's something serious for the Hunters to be here." He grabbed the remote off the table and increased the volume. He motioned to me. I leaned over to him. "They say the monster activity has grown even larger. Hyperborean Cyclopes traveling South alongside Laistrygonians. Apparently the Cyclopes have elected a new King, the first since Apollo's decimation of the Elder Cyclopes. Things are very wrong."
We stood there in silence. Cyclopes, Giants marching South. The disappearance of campers. The silence in Olympus. More of a reason to find Jaxson and the others. "We should get you packed. Don't want to disappear for too long."
Well shit. I left Hedge's home and went back into the woods. I should probably let Lee and Cee know about the Cyclopes and Giants. I wonder if Beatrice knows if anything is going on outside of camp. Maybe the Naiads can tell me something. Everything is so dull now. It's surprising how much time I spent at the club. Camp just feels wrong without it. Not to mention I can't even walk around without feeling like I'm being watched now.
I went over to the archery range where Lee was instructing some of the younger campers. I forget there's little kids here. Most of them are either abandoned by their parents, runaways or survivors of a massacre. I wonder how the kids feel about everything. Seeing people they've known and seen disappear everyday must be tough.
"Hey Lee." I walked up behind Lee. "I got some information for you." I whispered.
"Carnus. You mind showing these kids how to shoot a bow?" Why does he do this shit to me? Even though I'm a Child of Apollo I prefer fighting with spears.
"You're telling the one Child of Apollo that doesn't practice archery to shoot a bow. You're so cruel." I picked up a compound bow off the ground. I lined myself up before putting the arrow on the shelf. I pulled back using my index and midday finger before I took a deep breath and fired.
"A nine. Not bad Carnus." It was barely off. Guess I still got it.
"Well I was just checking up on you guys. Keep on practicing and maybe you guys can beat me."
Lee began to laugh. "Hey Courtney, split his arrow for me please." A short girl walked up to where I was standing. She looked nervous till she put the arrow on the shelf. She fired and split my arrow. "Sorry to burst your bubble, Carnus."
I guess they do more practice than me. Should've expected this honestly. "Nice shot Courtney."
I left the range. Well time to go let the others know now. Man there's a lot of running around. I'm glad I got a good schedule. Some people have such shit schedules. Nothing fun just work. Like Ancient Greek class. Them Athena kids scare me sometimes. They are insane at anything to do with learning. From languages to math. And they're extremely tidy too. Wait. I don't even know their schedule. Where am I even going? I looked around. I was in the middle of a forest. How the fuck did I get here.
I could hear birds chirping. Speaking of birds, I wonder what happened to Jaxson's Crow. "I'm right here." What the fuck was that. A little crow flew down from the tree's to the floor. "Hi Carnus. How've you been?"
"Wait, you can talk?" I'm really talking to a bird right now.
"I mean all Crows can talk. But I'm talking to you telepathically at the moment. Since you're a child of Apollo."
"Wait what. Why didn't I hear you before?"
"Jaxson had me covered with mist. And I didn't really have to talk to you then. I wish Jaxson was able to hear me. It was almost like I was being restricted from talking to him."
"So what's going on… I'm sorry, what's your name again?"
"Silence."
"So what have you been doing Silence since Jaxson disappeared."
"Well I flew back here and have been staying with the old Satyrs. They kept me fed since then. I miss the food Jaxson gave me though."
"Wait where were you before. Why did you fly back here? Didn't he disappear from here?"
"No? Didn't you all know. He took me and went with the guy with the Scar. Then we met this guy with a turtle and drove to a city that's where they were." What the fuck.
"So he left with Luke to a city then disappeared."
"No he stayed here we left with the guy with the turtle. And we stayed at this huge building for a bit then Jaxson disappeared. So I decided to look for him in the city. But I couldn't find him so I just came back here."
"That changes everything, Silence! So they weren't taken, they left themselves and went to I'm guessing New York then he disappeared in the city. Holy shit."
"What did you think happened? He just disappeared from here and that's it?"
"Well we didn't have much to go on."
"So what do I get for telling you all this."
"What do you mean?"
"Well I think I deserve some kind of reward since I've told you such valuable information."
I sighed. "Here, get on my shoulder. You can stay with me from now on till Jaxson comes back."
"Nice." Silence flew up on my shoulder. "So now what?"
"Well now I have to find my way back. You don't happen to know the way back to camp do you?"
"You do know Jaxson taught me some things before we left. I'll be back in a second."
Silence flew up out of the forest. I waited for a minute before he returned. "Just keep on going straight. There's a trail leading back to camp a little ahead. By the way, you owe me a steak now."
I walked out of the forest with Silence still on my shoulder. It was getting close to the end of breakfast now. We went to the tables where many were already done with their breakfast. Lee was glaring at me. I should really try to put less attention on myself.
I sat down on the bench and ordered. "Three pancakes and one small medium rare steak." It appeared on the table and me and Silence began to eat.
"Hey Carnus, why do you got a crow with you?" Will asked.
"Well I found him in the woods and he started talking to me. So now he's staying with me. You mind saying hi?"
"Hi." Silence said. The entire table took notice.
"What's its name?"
"Odin." I blurted out before Silence could say anything. Don't say anything please Silence
Luckily it seems Silence caught on and went by the name Odin. After finishing breakfast quickly much to the disappointment of Silence.
I decided against letting Cecil, Lou and Julia know I had found Silence and some key information till tomorrow. During lunch I could already see a lack of Satyrs. Many had already left, leaving the already quiet tables even more quiet. The rest of the day went smoothly. Spending some time doing my daily chores before I went to bed.
After an uneventful night today was the day we'd be facing the hunters in Capture the flag. A perfect chance to talk to Lee about Jaxson and Luke. During breakfast there was talk that more Huntresses would be arriving including their famed lieutenant. With that knowledge the counselor's rushed everyone's breakfast. All the cabins rallied around Zeus' first to decide our captains and where we'd take the flag.
"Let's get the first captain out of the way right now. Percy should be first captain." Lee said.
It was an obvious choice with no rejections.
"So why don't we place the flag next to the lake? That way we can get the most out of Percy." Another obvious choice from one of the Athena kids.
"We need to set up decoy flags. That way the entire huntress force doesn't show up at once. And we need archers to be set at the main camp with guards protecting the flanks." Nods of approval. Annabeth was the youngest counselor elected for a reason after all. "We need fake flags and traps set up in the decoy spots. Then we need at least five campers at each spot. Most of the Apollo cabin should be at the real flag along with the Demeter, Dionysius and some of Ares' cabin. Meanwhile the Hermes kids will be scouting for the flag. Once we know where the flag is Clarisse will be leading the remainder of our forces to take the flag. Objections?"
So I'll probably be in the strike force considering I don't use bows. Hopefully I get grouped up with Shepard.
"Alright go to your counselor to figure out where you'll be stationed." Clarisse instructed. The counselors set up lines and gave everyone their stations. I went to the back of the Apollo line so I could talk to Lee longer.
When the line finally got to me Lee pulled me aside away from the rest of the counselors. "So what do you got for me, Carnus?"
"I got you a witness to Jaxson and Luke leaving camp."
"Where are they?" Lee asked, surprised.
"He's on my shoulder. Say hi Silence."
"Hi Lee."
"Wait. That's Jaxson's crow isn't it?"
"Yeah you got that right." I confirmed. "Silence tell him what you told me."
"Holy shit! So they weren't taken, they left on their own?"
"That's what Silence says."
"Silence. Do you think you can take us to where you and Jaxson went?" Lee asked.
"I probably can. I don't know where it is exactly but I can recognize the building." Silence answered.
"That's good enough. I'll be letting the other counselors know. Thank you both." Lee walked away.
"You owe me another steak, Carnus."
"Don't worry I'll get it for you." Wait. Lee didn't tell me where I'm stationed. I'll just go with the main strike force.
I walked over to where they were stationed. I saw Shepard sitting on a log cleaning a gun. "Hey Shepard, you ready for this?"
"You know my answer. They're making me use a pneumatic non lethal gun. They said I either use this or I have to get a different weapon."
"You were better off with a bow." He shrugged.
"So were you. Since you're a son of Apollo and all."
"Maybe but here we are… So do you think we'll win this time?" I asked.
"Probably not. These Huntresses always have some way of beating us. Even if we have Percy we still lost some good fighters like Luke. And that guy you used to hang out with would be extremely useful against the Huntresses." That's true he would be extremely useful. He could probably steal the flag by himself.
"You're right but I have a good feeling this time." I answered optimistically.
"Well I sure as hell don't. Nice bird you got there. One of your dad's animals isn't it." He was right Crows are an animal of Apollo.
"Yeah his name is Odin." I gently petted Silence much to his delight.
"If only they would let me keep a dog around. Shit I'd stop using guns if I could get a dog." Pretty bold claim considering the amount of time he's placed in collecting guns and shooting them.
"Might have to find a way to sneak a dog into camp."
"Alright Strike team. We'll be waiting for a runner to arrive before we begin to move out. We'll be moving in three strike groups. Each strike force will contain archers and shield bearers. No exceptions. We've faced the Huntresses before we know most of them don't like engaging actual fights. But the ones that do are the ones you should be afraid of. I'll be leading the main force cutting through the center of the forest. Sherman will be leading the right flank and Shepard will be leading the left flank. We'll converge on the center, trapping most of the hunters in-between our forces. Now even out the forces."
A little bit of movement from the strike force and now Shepard was inspecting everyone under his command. "Hey Odin, can you scout out and find the Huntresses' flag?"
"Yeah. But you know my price." Silence answered.
"I'll get you your steak." With that Silence flew off.
Silence P.O.V
Maybe I should try something other than a steak. I know chicken is really good. I really want to eat something more bloody. That would be really nice. I could see the flag in a thick part of the forest. The pole holding it up was reflecting the sunlight. There was nothing special about the site. I should probably check to see how many are guarding the flag. I swooped down and landed on the flag. No one was there. Strange usually some people are here.
"Well hello there little Crow. What are you doing all by yourself?" I heard a soft female voice. Another child of Apollo?
"Where are you?"
"Behind you." I turned and there she was. A red headed girl kneeled in front of me. "You're very young aren't you. But so smart."
"Why thank you. It's been awhile since I've been complimented."
"Does your master not compliment you? After all, he did send you here." She asked. Well does Carnus really count. And I don't see Jaxson as my master. I'm indebted to him more than anything.
"I'm no one's servant. I work for myself."
"I see. Well why don't you work for me why don't you? After all we are hunters before anything and birds as intelligent as you are quite useful."
"Enticing offer but I'll pass."
"Worth a try. Fly off then. I'll see you soon hopefully."
"Bye bye." I flapped my wings and flew off. I definitely don't want to go through that again.
Carnus P.O.V
"Thanks for the warning Odin." A Huntress knew he was working for someone that means they must already be prepared. A firework launched up through the sky. Signaling the start of the games. Now for the waiting game.
Some time had passed and not a signal runner had arrived yet. We were all starting to get fidgety. "Hey Odin, you sure there's nothing for us to distinguish where it is?"
"I got nothing for you other than it's toward the East deep in the forest." Shit. Any longer the game might end before we can move.
"Sherman! Take your team and go support Percy and the rest. Send a runner when you make it there." Clarisse ordered.
"You heard her, let's move." Sherman jogged off with the rest of his team. That would definitely help the defense significantly but now we've lost a key part of our force.
"Shepard take five of my shields and move east. We'll be circling around. Remember to stay in a circle of shields if you get any confrontations let some of your fighters out of the circle to handle it." Well there goes my optimism. We're going to get destroyed again. Then there was rustling from the East. "Get ready!"
A runner emerged from the forest. He was gasping for air and covered in dirt. "I found their flag… please give me some water." Maybe we'll do fine after all.
With the runner refreshed he began leading us through the forest. The force was very tense. Most of us have fought against them before. And obviously got our ass's kicked. What's so different this time? Other than the fact we have someone who beat Ares in single combat on our side. "Alright you can divide here and reach the flag."
"You heard the runner divide." Clarisse ordered and we separated off into our strike forces. Then we continued our short march. Nothing. Not a single arrow. No movement in the forest.
"Odin tell us how far we are." Silence flew up and returned quickly.
"Almost there just a couple more minutes." Silence answered.
"We're almost there." I called out.
"You heard him, let's finish this off quickly." We continued marching in silence.
"Flag's in sight." Someone from the front called out.
"Stop! Someone go run and get it. Quickly!" Nobody moved. To be expected. Who would want to run out there in the open. "Carnus go get the flag." Fuck.
I moved past the shields and walked out into the open with Silence on my shoulder. I walked over to the flag and as I reached it and was about to grab it a voice came from behind.
"Well hello little crow. I knew I'd see you soon." I turned and saw the ginger huntress unsheath two short swords.
"Well let's get this over with shall we. Silence, you should fly away."
"You're telling me." The crow flew off my shoulder. I stretched my arms and got into my stance.
Breathe in. Breathe out. Clear your mind. No distractions. I focused on the Huntresses in front of me. She was smiling before she threw something on the ground. Smoke surrounded me as I heard Shepard in the background.
"Break Formation! Archers stay center, and blades surround the flag." As the smoke cleared, four Huntresses now surrounded me.
"I thought we were going to have a fair fight?" After I said that the forest became absolutely carnage. Arrows flew from both sides. Fighting could be heard all over the surrounding forest. Well first I have to get out of this shitty situation. I dealt with the Huntress in front of me first. I need to have my back safe. I rushed her without even attempting to knock her out and tackled her to the floor and got up immediately. Now with the threat of being shot from behind gone I could start.
Two Huntresses came at me at once while the other helped the one I tackled up. They were slow. Not used to using melee weapons. I deflected the first blow and hit the Huntress' back turning her toward her sister before kicking her into her. Then I hit both of them in the head with my spear. "That was a little too easy."
The next two walked up. I moved back into stance. Both came at me at the same time. I used both my spears deflecting their attacks. But it didn't stop one of the hunters from throwing a hook at my face. Then an arrow hit my left arm knocking out my spear. The Huntresses took advantage and began attacking me furiously. Using both hands on one spear I was trying to fight them off. But I was in an uncomfortable position. And I could tell from the that we were losing this battle. I pushed them back with my spear before throwing it at one of them knocking her out. "Finally a one on one."
I was able to get into my hand to hand stance before the Huntress attacked. I kicked her in the shin as she was moving forward before hitting her with an uppercut. She began stumbling backwards as I continued to pummel her with punches before she fell. I was able to walk over to the flag in peace and I lifted the flag out of the ground. As I turned I noticed everyone had disappeared. Only Shepard and a few others remained. Shepard discarded his gun and walked over to me. "Let's get the fuck out of here."
"Yeah I'm not trying to stay any longer." I handed the flag and went back to retrieve my spears as I heard rustling in the forest. The Huntress attack party was successful in retrieving the flag. "Well shit." The Huntress from earlier appeared from the forest as well.
"Take you for welcoming our recruits. I hate having to be the first to show them what a real fight is. But now you should probably return the flag. Otherwise me and Zoe here will have to gut you." There she was the famed lieutenant of the Hunters. In dear embroidered leather armor and carrying our flag. Shepard handed the flag to one of the Hermes kids as he popped his neck.
"I've always wanted to fight someone older than my dad." Shepard said with the flames of Ares in his eyes.
"I assure you I'm much older than your father. And considering he lost to the son of Poseidon I am a far better combatant." The lieutenant replied.
"Then let's see shall we." Well shit. I threw my spears on the floor again. If he's going to go bare knuckles, so am I. The rest of the remaining campers followed by dropping their weapons and removing their helmets.
This is when I first noticed the presence of the Hunters. It was like someone was staring at you from all sides. That your every move was being watched. I looked around and saw glimmers of silver in the woods. "Might as well go down with a fight." The Hermes kid who received the flag was still holding it. Maybe in the confusion we can get him through. But we'll each be fighting multiple Hunters at once. "Get ready."
"Break a gap in-between the line and be prepared to grab the flag." Shepard said quietly to us. "On me! Let's fucking win!" Looking back it's not the best way to start a brawl. But it definitely worked this time.
We ran straight at the center of the Huntresses, the kid with the flag was at the very back. Shepard was leading the charge. As he attempted to tackle the Lieutenant, failing to bring her down. Meanwhile I was fighting two Hunters again. Jab, hook, jab, uppercut. That's all you need. Hedge taught me that one. I was getting hit hard. Their punches felt backed by steel. Causing me to recoil after every hit. I could see in the corner of my eye the kid with the flag made it through. And Zoe beating the living shit out of Shepard. I ran away from my fight and threw myself at Zoe knocking the flag out of her hand. As Sherman used the last of his strength to grab the flag and throw it at the flag bearer. Before Zoe got up and hit me so hard I lost a tooth and ate a mouthful of mud. A couple seconds later Shepard was in front of me Zoe's foot on his head as his face made an indent on the mud. "Did you really think that would work? By the Gods you are fucking stupid just like your fathers." That's the last thing I heard before seeing nothing but darkness.
Would you look at that. The best bird is back. The Hunters are badass of course. I had to make sure they destroy the campers while also setting up the rivalry between the Campers and the Hunters.
Noticable changes. No none of the Hunters speak Shakespearean English. Sorry but to me it didn't make sense as Zoe should be able to adapt to English quite well. As the Gods and other old monsters do. And yes the Hunters are like a police force as well as other things. Yes Crows are one of Apollo's animals and just like how Percy can talk to horses and fish Canrus can talk to crows.
Carnus is probably going to be the main lens for the Camp point of view. Don't worry I have something planned other than the Sea of Monsters for these poor characters. Speaking of the Sea of Monsters we'll be getting to that part of the story soon.
But before we get that it's time for the first teaser in a while. The first true antagonist is going to appear very soon. As you can tell there is no real antagonist in the story yet. Just a bunch of characters doing normal things. The first completely original arc will arrive soon. And with that Cesar or Tempest out.
