The rouge ninja was beaten to the ground. Yamo dropped down next to Naruto as they walked towards, Iruka. "Naruto come here, and both of you close your eyes." Yamo and Naruto closed their eyes and waited as Iruka did something. "Okay your open your eyes." Iruka said and as they did, Yamo saw that Iruka had taken off his head band and put it on Naruto. "Naruto Uzumaki, you graduate."

Chapter 3: Team 7

Yamo ran out of the Uchiha compound, the reason to her excitement was simple. Today was the day they were assigned to their team as genin. And she was ready to prove herself, fighting her way up the ladder. She ran right into the Ninja academy leaping over the other students as she launched herself into her seat. "You're exited for this." Shikamaru said as he took his seat behind me.

"Of course, we're getting assigned to our teams, that means we will soon be able to fight other ninjas. And I can prove that I'm not just the strongest in the leaf but of all the ninja villages." Yamo smiled.

"Don't be ridiculous, you aren't the strongest in the leaf, the Jounin aren't going to fight you seriously." Shikamaru rolled his eyes. "Hmm Naruto, what are you doing?"

Yamo turned away from Shikamaru towards the front of the class only to see Naruto squatting on the desk in front of her. "Naruto this is only for people who graduated!" Sakura yelled at him. Yamo turned to yell at the pink haired girl but...

"Hey what's going on?" The student in the seat in front of Yamo stood up and bumped into Naruto knocking over. "Oh sorry..."

"THEIR..." Ino yelled out.

Naruto and Yamo stared at each other, eyes closer then they had ever been, lips on the others as the whole class looked at them. A rather loud squeak from Hinata in the corner of the classroom.

Naruto was the first to react, he jumped back yelling out in shock. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean..."

"NARUTO! YOU PERVERT!" Ino and Sakura jumped the whiskered boy. "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!"

"IT WAS A ACCIDENT!" The poor boy yelled out.

And only now Yamo moved, lifting a hand to her lips, "He had ramen for breakfast." She said annoyed... but not upset. She then stood up and pulled the two taller girls off Naruto. "Enough."

Sakura was the one to speak up. "But he stole..."

"He didn't steal anything, it was a accident. Now stop beating him up. Now up you get dunce." Yamo pulled Naruto into a seat, and sat next to him.

That's when Iruka sensei walked in. "Alright it's time to assign you to your teams." He started to go down the list. "...Ino, Shikamaru, Choji. And team seven is Sakura Haruno, Naruto Uzumaki and Yamamoto Uchiha."

"Sensei, why am I teamed with those two?"

"Sakura, you had the highest academic grade, Yamamoto had the highest practical grades and Naruto was dead last in everything, we had to balance the teams." Iruka explained.

I looked over at Naruto and smirked. I knew he had more in him now, especially with his new jutsu. "Sakura. We are here to be ninja. You have to trust your partners."

"Hrmmm... Fine." Sakura said.

After the teams were assigned Yamo sat outside waiting for Naruto. She had a box full of blue berry jam sandwiches. "Yamamoto..." A quiet voice spoke up. Yamo looked up as her tail curled around her.

"Oh, Hinata. Why are you here?" Yamo asked her.

The purple haired Hyuga looked to the side as she interlaced her fingers. "It's..." She blushed as she shook her head. "It's nothing." She said before running off.

"Well... huh? That was weird." Yamo said between bites as Naruto came running down the road.

"I gotta go!" He yelled.

"We he has to go... I guess." Yamo said as she swallowed a sandwich whole.

In Naruto's house stood two people, one was the third Hokage, and the other was a white haired man with one eye covered by his eye, in his hand he held a carton of milk. "It's expired, if anyone drinks this they will be in the toilet all day." He said.

The next day team seven was waiting past all the others for their Jounin team leader. Yamo was busy stacking shuriken in a tower by their points. The stack was now well over three feet tall.

"Where do you keep that many shuriken?" Sakura asked as Yamo one more.

"Don't worry about it." Yamo said as she pulled a kunai and moved to top her tower with that. "Now shhh I need total concentration."

"WHAT'S TAKING HIM SO LONG!" Naruto yelled making Yamo flinch and over correct her movement.

Yamo just slowly turned to Naruto kunai in hand, but the blonde wasn't paying attention to her as he was sticking a chalk board eraser and chuckled to himself. "This will teach him for showing up late."

"There is no way that will work Naruto." Sakura scolded him.

Yamo sighed and started to pick up her shuriken off the floor.

Just as she finished the door opened, and Naruto's booby trap hit it's mark, a puff of dust coming off his white hair. He wore the typical Jounin gear, his nose and mouth covered with a mask. And his ninja head band covered one eye.

"It worked!" Naruto and Sakura yelled with two very different versions of surprise.

"I haven't fought him before..." Yamo said as she tilted her head to one side.

"You three seem to be the most hopeless group of students I've ever had." He said as he looked us over. "Now, lets go somewhere more open."

"Wait, why were you late?" Yamo asked.

"Ah, I got lost on the path of life." He said.

"Understandable." Yamo nodded.

"That isn't a good excuse!" Naruto and Sakura yelled at the two of them.

Soon the four of them were on the roof of one of the many buildings in Konoha. "I suppose introductions are in order. I'm Kakashi, and I don't like failure."

"That's it?" Sakura asked.

"I'll go next! I'm Yamamoto Uchiha, I love fighting and I want to get strong enough to avenge my clan." Yamo smiled widely, "And after I do that I want to become the strongest warrior this world has ever seen."

"I see, at least you know what you want, next is..." Kakashi said as he looked at us.

"Me, I'm Sakura Haruno, I want to be the first ninja from my clan known far and wide. I hate Naruto and tolerate Yamo." She said as she smiled.

"And I'm Naruto Uzumaki, I love Ramen, cooking and eating ramen. And I want to become the next Hokage!" Naruto smiled.

Kakashi just looked at them. "You three... are a interesting group..." He said. "Well tomorrow I have a test for you, show up early and don't eat breakfast before hand or else you will be throwing it up." Kakashi said.

The three genin nodded.

After he dismissed them Yamo went with Naruto to his house, where she made him cook for the two of them. "You ate almost all of my ramen!"

"Well you only buy ramen so don't blame me when I eat it." She chuckled. "Next time we go to Ichiraku's, I'll pay." She smiled. She stretched out her arms yawning her tail sticking straight out, "I think I'll crash here for tonight. Dibs on the bed." She said before flopping on his bed.

"Hey! Where will I sleep then?" Naruto complained as he stood at the side of the bed.

"Well I suppose I could use a extra pillow." Yamo smirked as she grabbed and pulled him down while laughing. "I got you dunderhead!"

"This isn't funny!" He yelled back.
