"Well you only buy ramen so don't blame me when I eat it." She chuckled. "Next time we go to Ichiraku's, I'll pay." She smiled. She stretched out her arms yawning her tail sticking straight out, "I think I'll crash here for tonight. Dibs on the bed." She said before flopping on his bed.

"Hey! Where will I sleep then?" Naruto complained as he stood at the side of the bed.

"Well I suppose I could use a extra pillow." Yamo smirked as she grabbed and pulled him down while laughing. "I got you dunderhead!"

"This isn't funny!" He yelled back.

Chapter 4: The Bell Test

Yamo woke up to the loud snoring of Naruto who had at some point worked his way beside her, "Come on wake up Naruto." She pinched his face.

"OW OW OW!" The blonde squinted at her as he sat up. "That hurt you..." He blushed as he looked away. "Um your shirt..."

Yamo looked down and found that the front of her shirt was slightly open, "I don't get you guys, embarrassed by the smallest things. Come on we have to go meet up with Sakura and Kakashi sensei." Yamo said as she fixed her clothes.

Soon the two of the were dressed and making their way to the field where Kakashi wanted to meet with them, Sakura was just arriving at the same time as they did.

"At least your on time." Sakura said as we settled by three poles stuck in the ground.

And there they waited for hours. Yamo was throwing a kunai as high as she could and catching it. Naruto sat atop one of the pole annoyed as Sakura sat muttering that she would have preferred Ino as a teammate.

The sun was approaching the highest point in the sky and Yamo was face down in the dirt. "I'm hungry..." She groaned. Her stomach growled loudly shaking the ground around her.

"That can't be healthy." Sakura commented as Naruto poked Yamo with a stick.

"Sorry I'm late. I got lost on the path of life." Kakashi said as he walked up to them.

Naruto and Sakura turned on Kakashi, "That's not an excuse!"

Kakashi ignored them, "Well, let's get the test started." He smiled behind his mask, in his left hand he held two silver bells. "You have till noon to get these from me." Kakashi said as he held them out, "Oh and one thing come at me like you want to kill me. Those that get a bell will be allowed to eat."

"Sir there are only two bells! Even if we get both one of us will go without food." Sakura noticed.

"That will be for you to figure out." Kakashi smiled with his one visible eye. "Oh and one more thing if you fail you will be sent back to the academy."

"Hey that isn't fair!" Naruto and Sakura yelled.

Yamo snapped up to her feet, "Oh no, I'm not missing my lunch!"

"That's what you're worried about?" Her two teammates asked.

"I got this one!" Naruto rushed the Jonin first. Stabbing at the man with a kunai before trying to kick him. Kakashi side stepped the knife and jumped over the kick.

But as he was in the air Yamo jumped on Naruto's shoulders as her hands made different symbols. "That's..." Kakashi said as he recognized what she was doing.

"Yamo what are you doing?" Naruto asked she pulled her head back.

"Fire Style Jutsu: Wyvern's Breath!" She brough two fingers to either corner of her mouth as a spiral of flame escaped her mouth engulfing the area in front of her.

"You got him Yamo!" Sakura cheered.

"Damn right!" Yamo said as she stood straight on Naruto's shoulders. "I may as well be made a Jonin already."

"Water Style Jutsu: Water bomb Jutsu!" Kakashi called out as he fired an attack right at Yamo from the tree branch above her. Her and Naruto were slammed into a puddle "Substitution Jutsu." Kakashi as the smoke cleared revealing a burning log in a charred patch of grass. "One is as dumb as a rock and the other is arrogant as all hell."

Yamo stood up pushing her wet hair out of her face. "Lucky shot. But I'm just ahhhhh!" She cried out as Naruto pushed her off his back making her fall over and back into the puddle of water sending a splash up as she landed on her back side.

"I'm coming for you! Art of the shadow Doppelganger Jutsu!" Naruto yelled out as he created a few copies of him.

Two rushed Kakashi throwing punches and kicks as the Jonin pulled a book out of his pocket. "Really, your reading at a time like this?"

Kakashi only looked up from his page as he dodged the attacks. "Don't worry I'm more then capable of managing you while I read." One of the Naruto clones threw two shuriken at Kakashi who easily avoided them, but the weapons were transformed Naruto clones who threw their own kunai at the midair ninja.

Kakashi grabbed one of the shadow clones and used him to catch the knifes. "Now..." Kakashi said as he looked at Sakura giving Yamo a hand up.

"Sakura take these and I think you know what to do with them. Straight from the Uchiha's compounds store room." Yamo smirked as she handed something off to the pink haired girl.

Yamo rushed past the multiple Naruto clones as she made the same hand gesture as Naruto did when he made the clones. "She can make them as well?" Kakashi said as Yamo charged him, but the multipronged attack didn't come as he foot came and she kicked him square in the sternum, the impact sent him skidding across the clearing till he hit another tree. "Damn arrogant but smart." Kakashi said as he looked at her.

"Now Sakura!" Yamo cried out.

Kakashi looked around and realized the tree he had hit was covered in five explosive paper tags. "We really should have taken those away along time ago." He said as he crossed his arms as they all exploded. "Damn it..."

"Let's go Naruto!" Yamo said as she grabbed a Naruto and with all her strength launched him at Kakashi. "You transform!" She said as she pointed at a Naruto, and two more ran over to Sakura.

The Naruto that was launched at Kakashi Was quickly slammed into the ground and vanished in a puff of smoke. "Okay, Yamamoto is the..." He said as Yamo was on him again swinging a sword with a orange wrapped hilt. He ducked under the swing and leapt back to make space. "Where did..."

Yamo set her stance and launched into a series of rapid attacks. Kakashi easily avoided them but he couldn't break away from her attack. "Kenjutsu, she's full of surprises." He observed.

On the final downward strike Yamo called out. "Now!" Her sword transformed into the real Naruto who was being swung down with all her might by his ankles, his fists clenched on the handles of two kunai.

From the edge of the clearing Sakura and the two shadow clones threw kunai with explosive paper tags at Kakashi.

"Substitution Jutsu!" Kakashi called out, in a explosion of smoke he took Yamo's place, Naruto just had enough time to reverse his grip on the kunai him his hands as the were slammed down on the crown of her head, she drops to the ground clutching her head. The three kunai flew over their heads and exploded.

Kakashi landed in a squat behind Naruto with his two hands clasped over his closed book. "Forbidden Jutsu:" He said.

"Naruto run!" Sakura yelled out. "He's going to..."

"Thousand years of death!" Kakashi finished the name of the attack ramming his fingers up into the orange clad Ninja who made a face of pain before being launched over Yamo and landing face down.

"Two down, one to..."

"I'm not done yet." Yamo said as she looked up at Kakashi right in his eye.

Suddenly to Kakashi the genin were gone and standing across from him was a woman in red garb but she was fuzzy and parts over seemed to fade in and out. "I'm your opponent now." She said.

"She is the Devil of Genjutsu's daughter. Kai Release!" Kakashi broke out of the illusion just in time to be tacked by Yamo around the waist She grabbed and threw her hand back letting go of something before stopping and getting off Kakashi.

Sakura and a Naruto clone picked two items off the ground. The bells. "I doubt you brought enough food for me." Yamo said as she fell back wards holding her head. "I'm just gonna take a nap."

"Well, congratulations. You pass." Kakashi smiled. "I'll be back with the food.

As he turned away from them he spoke to himself. "They only passed because Yamo was able to get them to work together after her solo attempt failed. She immediately reassessed and used her teammates to her advantage, even if she didn't realize that was what she was doing."

This time he was much faster as he brought the trio food. "Here you go." He said as he set two lunch boxes in front of Naruto and Sakura and three in front of sleeping Yamo. Who quickly woke up and started eating. "Just like Jikama." He said to himself.

"Hmm... what was that?" She asked Kakashi.

She stopped eating.

"This monument has the names of some of my closest friends and great heroes for the village." Kakashi explained.

"What kind of hero, I want to..."

"Naruto, my father's name is on there." Yamo said as she look down. "It has the names of ninja who have fought and died for the village."

"O-oh... sorry..." Naruto looked to the side.

"Yes, Yamamoto, he is on here. I was on the battle field with the nine tailed fox when I saw him die. I would be dead if it wasn't for him." Kakashi said as he looked at the half saiyan, her tail flat on the ground. "You have that same strength as he did, that same determination."

"What were his final words? Mother never told me them." Yamo looked up at him.

"It was a rallying cry for the Shinobi. He called for them to keep fighting." Kakashi half lied.

"What did her father do to hold the Nine tailed fox back?" Sakura asked.

"Sheer, brutal strength. He wasn't a ninja, but he inspired many ninja to this day." Kakashi said.

"I wish I had the chance to meet him." Yamo said. "Mama loved till the day..."

Kakashi turned towards and patted Yamo on the head. "Keep your head up, I'm sure you are making them proud."
