Okay then, another chapter, another chance to improve. Now as I've got my writing groove back together, the chapters are now back on schedule. Last time, questions and answers are being hurled one by one, as the group finds logs linking to the situation, and they're having trouble trying to cope. But with some questions answered, some still remain. What happened to Scarlett? Who are the other two mutants? Where will this take our group now? These will be answered in the future, in the group's Second Chances…

Aztec 13: Very informative, I see. But you should know that earthquakes frequently happen in Yellowstone. And also, this will not be a parody. The legends will make their appearance in the story.

This chapter will not have many mysteries and focuses more on the reactions of our group.

5 Minutes Earlier

We cut into the central building, where Heather, Duncan, Shawn, Jasmine, Chef and Chris were sitting inside.

"What do you think we should do?" Shawn asks the group.

"Don't ask me." Chris states.

"Oh, no one asked for your opinion." Heather states. "I thought you've learned that through the torture to made us go through."

"The choices we have depend on the situation. If we are still in our era, we just find a way back." Duncan states.

"But what happens if we actually are in the future?" Jasmine brings up the important question. "What are we even gonna do?"

"We try as much as we can to survive, I guess." Duncan states.

"And how are we supposed to do that?" Shawn asks. "Even if this isn't a zombie apocalypse, it will still be hard to survive due to our large number."

Heather begins to think for a bit, and remembers the email in the device.

"Hey guys, what about this?" Heather states as she picks up the device.

Heather activates the device and taps on the email. As she inspects the email, some of the group were surprised by the tech.

"An interactive hologram? Even I don't have anything like that." Chris states.

"What are you even checking?" Chef asks.

"There might be something here we can use…" Heather still tries to find something. "Aha! I know what to do."

Heather looks around the room and picks up a flare gun.

"A flare? What are we gonna do with it?" Chris asks.

"Just follow my lead." Heather states.

Chapter 3: Where Reality Settles In

We then cut back to the present, with everyone waiting outside after Heather has shot a flare.

"What is your plan for shooting a flare?" Courtney asks.

"Just trust me. This might do something." Heather states.

"And that something is?" Gwen asks.

"Look, can we just agree that the flare might signal some help?" Heather states.

"Or we might attract unwanted attention." Cameron adds.

"Oh shut it." Heather snarks.

10 Minutes Later

We cut back to the base, and after waiting for a while, everyone else just did their own thing again. It was already getting dark.

"You seriously think what you did will send help?" Gwen asks.

"Hey, it was worth a shot." Heather states.

"By the way, what were you even reading back there?" Duncan asks.

"Just be quiet." Heather says.

Suddenly, Dawn stands up, appearing to be sensing something.

"Hmm…?" Dawn looks around, seemingly hearing something. "Do you guys hear that?"

Gwen also begins to hear something, something vaguely unfamiliar, and stands up too.

"Yeah, I hear something too." Gwen states.

"What? What do you hear?" Trent asks.

"Cars?" Tyler asks.

"Discount announcements?" Lindsay asks.

"Zombies?" Shawn asks.

"No… no… it seems oddly familiar, but I've also never heard it before." Gwen states.

"What are you guys talking about?" Heather asks.

After a while, both Gwen and Dawn look in a certain direction, towards the outskirts of the mountainscape. This caught the attention of some others as they turned towards the direction.

"What the fuck?" Courtney gasped.

"Am I seeing things?" Stephanie asked.

"This can't be real." Harold gasped.

They see three small sized jet looking vehicles flying towards them. Some thought these were planes, but they seem too strange to be one. The color palette and the shape of these vehicles are reminiscent of jets found in sci-fi.

"Um… Junior? Stay back." Dwayne says as he moves his son behind him.

"Guys, follow my lead." Heather notifies her comrades.

"That doesn't sound good." Gwen states.

"Just shut it! Why would I betray you at a time like this?" Heather states.

"Yeah, just follow her, guys." Alejandro states.

"Coming from a guy that's biased by the situation?" Duncan raised an eyebrow. "Look, let's just see if her instincts get us anywhere and we act accordingly."

"You better not bitch around, Heather." Courtney glared at her.

"Guys, they're getting closer, can you please shut up." Leshawna tries to lower down the noise.

"Yeah, we're being too noisy." Owen states.

"Just shut it and follow my lead." Heather says.

The jets slow down as they near the base and begin their descent. As they near the ground, their landing gear protrudes and they land in a line next to the base.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Dave says.

The backs of the jets open, and troops of soldiers walk out cautiously. The suits were like a mixture of camo clothing and hazmat suits, with glowing blue visors.

"Yikes!" Brick was caught off by this.

"Oh no… nonono!" Mickey was horrified by this.

"Guys, just calm down, I'll try to handle this." Heather states.

The soldiers surround the group, with rifles at hand. The group then put their arms in a surrender position.

"Any reason why you have trespassed an IMC base?" The leader asked in an aggressive tone.

"Uh… well, we heard about the urgent evacuation and decided to travel there, by foot." Heather began to talk, which began to confuse some of the others.

"What?" Gwen muttered.

"What the fuck is she talking about?" Courtney whispered.

"I don't know…" Duncan whispers.

"Have you noticed that this area is owned by the IMC?" The leader asked some more questions.

"Well, if this was owned, why aren't there people here? I'm pretty sure actions like this can be a breach in security." Heather states.

"...but it seems to be working." Duncan adds.

"As a matter of fact, you're breaching security right now." The leader points out.

"Okay, listen, we're all very tired." Shawn speaks up. "We just needed to signal you guys to reach our destination."

"That still doesn't explain why you guys have trespassed." The leader says.

"Yeah, well think of it as a test of security…" Heather states. "...that one of your commanders failed."

A stray soldier approaches the leader.

"There seem to be no corpses of our men here. We've also run a check for weapons and there are none here other than IMC grade weaponry." The soldier does a report.

"So you mean that no soldiers were here?" The leader asks.

"There are no dog tags or signs of battle. It seems they all just abandoned the base." The soldier adds.

"Ah, well. Get Lieutenant Marks on call, he's gonna have a talk about this." The leader ordered. "As for the lot of you. I'll let this slide, since all civilians should report to the dock. We're moving all civilian assets to the planet Solace." The leader adds.

"Ugh…" Shawn's jaw drops in hearing this

This caused incredible tension between the masses. Knowing this would happen, Heather took a menacing glare at the crowd, signalling them to quiet down.

"So, will you help us get there?" Heather asks.

"Well, we were ordered to bring all civilians we can find." The leader states. "But we have to take you in groups."

"Well, can't argue with that." Gwen states.

"Who will go first then?" Noah asks.

Group 1: Gwen, Courtney, Duncan, Heather, Owen, Alejandro, Zoey, Mike, Cameron

We cut to the inside of one of the jets. The passenger area feels really crowded with 9 people inside. With many of the worries out of the way, they can finally let the reality of the situation settle.

"So, we're really in the future, huh?" Duncan lets the idea truly sink in.

"Well, yeah. But for some reason, every cell in my body still tries to deny it." Zoey states.

"If I still had my alters, they all would probably deny this happening, including Mal, and that would be saying something." Mike states.

"I don't even have time to admire the tech here. I miss my mom." Cameron states.

"Yeah, I also miss my family." Gwen states. "Mom and Aaron. I just can't get them out of my head now that they're gone."

"I remember I have annual family reunions with mi familia back at Barcelona." Alejandro states. "I still remember our soccer matches."

"Man, I wish I could sympathize with you guys, but I was pretty detached from my family." Heather states.

"I heard her parents were excited to make her move out of her house." Owen states. "That's rough."

"I don't really think much of them. But now you brought that up, I'm starting to feel glad they're gone." Heather states.

"Anyways, there is still something I'm concerned about." Courtney states. "How did you know what to do in that situation? Back there, with the negotiations."

"Well, remember back at the facility when I told you guys we came across an email?" Heather asks.

"Well, yes?" Gwen didn't know what to answer in this situation.

"I decided to read it, and it turns out that humanity has expanded itself to a group of planets they refer to as the Outlands." Heather explains. "They're moving all civilians here to Solace so they can harvest materials here on Earth."

"That… doesn't seem peaceful." Cameron found the idea odd.

"Hey, we don't know the history that has passed. There might have been a big war 30 years ago for all I care." Heather snarks.

"What do you think we should do in the long run? We have over 80 people in tow, and things will get bloody if we don't get this right." Courtney states.

"Who knows. Maybe some grand luck by God will be granted to us." Gwen states, not having a good time thinking of the consequences.

"How about we agree to lead together?" Owen suggests. "We need some way to help our group survive, and leading alone will cause some problems."

"That's actually not a bad idea." Gwen states. "So, is everyone here interested?"

Everyone in the area raised their hands.

"Then it's decided." Gwen states.

Group 2: Brick, Jo, Staci, Dakota, Scott, Dawn, Lightning, Anne Maria, B and Sam

In another jet, the next group, consisting of the rest of the Gen 2, sat down and tried to ease out the tension.

"Hey, Dawn. Aren't you even a little worried about the situation?" Brick asks.

"Don't worry, I know my animal companions were taken care of by Mother Nature." Dawn says.

"What about the claims of other planets?" Brick asks.

"That's just proof that nature herself has expanded. It's the cycle of life." Dawn is still her cheery self.

"I don't care about those claims, I just feel uncomfortable by the lack of hairspray." Anne Maria states.

"I'm just thinking of the fact that I'm not Dakotazoid anymore." Dakota frowns. "Wrestling in the ring gave me a sense of purpose, more than my modeling career."

"Aw, Dakota, I'm sure we can figure out something we can do." Sam says. "Hey, even if you're not a mutant anymore, you're still my Dakotazoid."

Dakota smiles at this, but immediately frowns again.

"How do you think our families reacted to us disappearing? Dakota asks.

"Oh my, I haven't really thought about that." Brick states.

"Wait, if we're in the future, then my daddy died?!" Lightning began to panic.

"Well, yes. That's how time travel works." Staci states. "Well, at least how my great great grandfather's cousin thought of it."

While the group feels bad for their lost loved ones, Jo thought on the more general side of things.

"Wait, Dawn, you can sense auras, right?" Jo asks an important question. "Who do you think are the other two mutants?"

"Hm…" Dawn thought for a bit. "I know who the mutants are, but… I don't want to cause any more tension."

"Hey, either tension for only two of them or tension for all of us." Jo states. "Just give me the answer."

"Well, I don't want to say it. I just feel like it is wrong to cause someone stress by making them know they're a mutant." Dawn states.

"Agh! You know…" Jo lost her temper for a bit. "...ugh, I can't really argue with your logic. Ah well, it's time for me to feel bad about my loved ones."

Group 3: Noah, Emma, Kitty, Geoff, Bridgette, Brody, Devin, Carrie, Dwayne and Junior

Another cut later and we see another group in a jet. And just like the last time, the scene was solemn. Everyone was just sitting quietly.

"Hey, try and look on the bright side. Maybe…" Geoff tries to get everyone, but immediately begins to stutter. "Um… maybe. Ah damn it, I can't think of anything." He then gives up. "You got anything Brody? Bridge?"

"Nope." Bridgette says.

"I've got nothing." Brody adds.

"Wow, you really know things have gotten to shit when even the party boys can't think of anything to lift spirits." Noah states. "How are we even gonna go through with this?"

"Okay, look. Maybe the others are thinking on our next plan of action. Maybe once we can meet up, we can work on what to do." Dwayne states.

"Well, that would be a good idea. I'm just not in the mood to think right now." Junior states.

"But I have been thinking for the past few minutes." Emma begins to speak up. "Here's my take. They're taking civilian assets to other planets, right?"

"Well, yeah. I'm just not buying the planet part." Noah states.

"Well, planet or country, it would still be unethical to just leave us there without anything to help us survive." Emma continues. "So, they're probably gonna give civilians compensation for the operation, something worth the trouble of moving."

"I… guess that makes sense?" Carrie slightly agrees.

"But what if that's not the case?" Devin asks.

"Um… Emma?" Kitty also began to speak up.

"Oh look, here comes another Trump's Wall joke." Noah rolled his eyes.

"What? No, I think my ponytail is stuck between the metal, can you remove it?" Kitty asks, while showing her hair stuck in the walls.

"Okay, fine." Emma then helps her sister.

But as Emma removed Kitty's ponytail from the metal, a random spark shot from her hand into the wall. Though this seemed small, Emma could see it clearly, and it also janked up the systems of the jet a bit, causing a flicker in the light and the jet to shake for a second.

"Damn it Albert, I thought you recalibrated the systems of this thing?" A female pilot was heard from the cabin.

"I did! I really did, Margeret!" Albert was heard denying the claim.

"That's what you said last week, and the systems were fucked." Margeret berated. "No wonder you were called Albert Fingernoodle at boot camp."

As the two pilots begin an argument, some of the group couldn't help but snicker at the conversation.

"Heh, Albert Fingernoodle." Brody snickered.

"That is a dumb nickname, brah." Geoff also snickered.

"Heh, Fingernoodle." Junior also snickered.

"Now this is what I like to see. When in a difficult situation, a bit of laughter can be a great help." Dwayne states.

"Heh… yeah." Emma says in a concerned manner before looking at her hand, almost like she realised what happened.

"Hey, is there anything wrong?" Noah asked, noticing her demeanor.

"Oh, um. Nothing really concerning." Emma then tries to hide her truth.

"Hmm… you seem skeptical. You're trying to hide something, aren't you?" Noah says.

"What? What do you mean?" Emma asks, slightly sweating due to nervousness.

"Okay look, I know you're thinking of your family and worrying for your sister at the same time. One thing's for certain, we've got each other's back." Noah smiles.

"Well, that's nice to hear." Emma says, trying to forget about the small but changing moment.

Group 4: Leshawna, Harold, Beth, Lindsay, Tyler, Trent, Katie, Sadie, Cody, Sierra and DJ

The scene was less solemn in this group, everyone was just thinking about the matter. Well… almost everyone.

"Ugh, why is there so much dust here?" Lindsay asks.

"Linds, I don't think dust is the main issue here." Tyler tries to console her.

"Yeah, how else are we supposed to think of what to do?" DJ asks.

"Hey, why aren't you phased by the loss of your momma?" Leshawna asks.

"Well, even if she's long gone, I still feel a strong spiritual connection with her. And that is enough for me." DJ states.

"Wow, that's some willpower DJ." Sadie admired the inner strength.

"I know, right?" Katie added.

"Well willpower isn't gonna cut it. We still have a lot of options on our hands." Trent states.

"Hey Harold, any plans?" Leshawna asks.

"I haven't gotten any, mostly because I was thinking of my family, and the other planet we get to go to." Harold states.

"Oh please, you really buy into that bullshit?" Cody asks.

"I'm just a curious guy, all right? Gosh." Harold states.

"Just keep your imagination to a minimum for the time being?" Trent asks.

"I really wonder what would happen if that was the case." Sierra states.

"Well, if that really is the case, then I say we're fucked." Cody states.

Group 5: Izzy, Ezekiel, Eva, Justin, Shawn, Jasmine, Rock, Spud, Chet and Lorenzo

Amongst the slightly solemn state of the 5th group, one person shines and contrasts with the feeling of the group.

"Wow! I wonder what planets we might go to. Maybe a desert planet like Tatooine!" Izzy excitedly runs around.

"Maybe there might be giant sandworms we can defeat." Lorenzo was caught by the chaos radiated by the redhead.

"Guys, focus. We need to think of a plan. I'm sure everyone else is doing so." Jasmine states.

"It's gonna be rough since we are in the future." Shawn states.

"Wait, we are in the future?" Spud, with his Chinese bootleg brain, asked.

"How many times have I gotta tell you, dude?" Rock asks.

"Wow, since there are now other planets inhabited, I sure hope I'm still the prettiest one." Justin states.

"Hey dumbass. Why aren't you reacting to your long lost family?" Eva asks.

"Hey look, I can't really sympathize with you guys. I didn't really have much of a childhood." Justin states.

"Oh come on guys, just be positive! It always works!" Izzy was still in high spirits.

"You know? I kind of agree with your optimism." Jasmine states.

"It's kind of my thing, along with blowing stuff up." Izzy states.

"Right…" Shawn was a bit skeptical.

"Because I'm an agent of chaos." Izzy states.

"Right…" Shawn was a bit skeptical of this.

Group 6: Sky, Dave, Amy, Sammy, Max, Rodney, Topher, Ella and Beardo

There was a bit much going on with this group. Almost no one was planning. Amy and Sammy are at each other's throats, Rodney, Topher and Beardo are having a beatbox battle, Ella is trying to dull down the situation, and Max is off doing his own thing. Among the chaos, we notice something interesting.

"Hey, Dave? Can we talk?" Sky asks.

"Yeah? What is it?" Dave asks in a monotone voice.

"Look, I know we got off on the wrong foot. But since I'm in the wrong, I just want to make it work again." Sky states.

"No, it's not completely your fault. After some thinking, I realised my own mistake too." Dave says. "With all the pressure and stress and germs, especially the germs, from the show, I didn't have good choices to cope with, so I just bottled it up. When the veil was lifted, and your intentions were revealed, I only wanted to release a little stress, but it all came gushing out, like a waterfall."

"Oh yeah, I've been there before. Mostly due to my cousins. Now I miss them." Sky states, slightly frowning a bit.

"Yeah, I also miss my family." Dave states.

"So, ready to start anew?" Sky asks.

"Yes." Dave smiles.

"Now, how about these guys? How do you think we can help protect them?" Sky asks.

"Hmm…" Dave thinks for a bit. "Maybe we should meet up with the more leader types, like Shawn or Courtney."

"That's not a bad way to start." Sky states.

Group 7: Don, Ryan, Stephanie, MacArthur, Sanders, Jacques, Josee, Leonard, Tammy and Sugar

With the next cutaway, we see the next group. There were some lingering vibes around. Not by sadness or by chaos, more of hatred, mostly emitted by MacArthur and Josee. Other than that, there was not much going on. Mostly everyone was just sitting down, letting the reality of the situation truly sink in.

"Hey Don, how are you feeling?" Ryan asks. "I know you probably don't have many close friends, but I'm wondering how you feel about this fiasco."

"Well, I'm having mixed feelings, but I am feeling slightly uncomfortable due to those two." Don says, referring to the Ice Dancers.

"Eat shit, Don." Josee snarks. "Fall off this jet."

"Hey skater girl, don't push your habits on other people, that's disrespectful." MacArthur smirked in saying this.

"Is this really necessary to do, guys?" Sanders raised an eyebrow.

"I bet almost everyone is creating some sort of plan of action." Stephanie adds.

"As much as I hate to admit it, I agree." Jacques states.

"Oh, you're taking their side now?" Josee asks.

"We literally have nothing to our name now. Any fame or possessions we have are long gone. How do you think we're going to survive by acting on our grudges?" Jacques asks.

"All I can think about is the new cuisines in this future." Sugar states.

Don then turns to the LARPers, wondering what they think.

"Hey you two. How do you feel about this?" Don asks.

"Oh, we don't really mind the change." Tammy states.

"We simply just see it as another opportunity for adventure." Leonard states.

"So you don't have earthly possessions?" Sanders asks.

"Nope, those hinder a wizard's progress and sense." Leonard states.

"So you're not attached to fried chicken?" Sugar asks.

"I don't but they taste pretty good." Leonard asks.

"So, Sanders, any game plan?" MacArthur asks.

"I'll try to think of some. Ask the others for ideas." Sanders states.

"Alrighty." MacArthur obliged.

Group 8: Crimson, Ennui, Ellody, Mary, Mickey, Jay, Tom, Jen, Laurie and Miles

The next cutaway, and it's still pretty bleak. I'm running out of ideas on what to put in these sets of paragraphs, so just read.

"Do you guys see any medic supplies?" Mickey asks the group.

"I'll try to find some." Jen says.

"Thanks. I'm not sure how long we might last without them." Jay states.

"Well, you did compete in a race show without… well, relatively severe issues." Tom states.

"That is right, but seeing that the state we are in is permanent, you might still need monthly check ups and medications." Mary states.

"But seeing the immense tech displayed in the first few hours, I say that might not be an issue." Ellody states.

"So, Goths, what do you have to say about this situation?" Laurie asks.

"Eh, we don't really have anything to say." Ennui states.

"Well, as for us, we're curious about what this new future has to offer." Miles states.

"We're also curious. Maybe we can see something awesome here." Jay states.

"I for one would be interested in the new fashion trends in this place." Tom states.

"Hey, Twins, do you guys need betadine and nasal spray?" Jen asks while scrambling through

"The spray is good, thanks." Mickey states.

Group 9: Chris, Chef, Topher, Blaineley, Gerry, Pete, Kelly and Taylor

Yada yada yada, solemn sight, quiet atmosphere, letting reality set, you know the drill. Just read.

"I can't believe I was dragged into this shitstorm." Blaineley groaned while rubbing her nose bridge. "I knew that one moment in the aftermath would lead me to something fucked, but I can't really say this was expected."

"Well, we're not strangers to these situations." Gerry states.

"Yeah, I still remember this dumbass accidentally got involved in a car chase by being shoved onto the top of the suspect's car. They rode 4 kilometers before the suspect swerved into a dumpster." Pete jokefully states, referring to Gerry. "The face he made on the news still lives in my head rent free."

"Heh, not as crazy as that one time you were stuck on a random school roof for three days." Gerry states.

"Ugh, man, this jet is getting me nauseous." Taylor groaned. "I know this isn't like a standard plane, but this nausea caught me off guard."

"Does anyone have a tissue?" Kelly asks while patting her daughter's back.

"This is such a bummer. Everything I own, trophies, coupons and KFC gift cards." Topher says.

"Damn it, why do I have to be degraded to the cargo hold? With these peasants?" Chris asks.

"Chris, shut it, your bodyguard protection and contracts won't help anymore." Chef tries to keep him quiet to protect him.

"Too late, I heard everything." Taylor stood up, annoyed.

"Ah crap!" Chris yelled.

Taylor jumped at Chris, beating the crap out of him while everyone in the group looked.

"Taylor, be careful, you might-" Kelly tries to pacify the situation before-

Sounds of vomiting were heard as everyone looked in shock. You know what had happened.

"Agh! Dang it!" Chris shrieked.

"Whoa! Heh, that was nasty." Gerry states. "Reminds me of my college bathroom."

Chef just rolled his eyes at this, knowing that was coming for him.

Later that day…

Cut to midnight. We then see a large crowded dock looking area where the humongous ship was docked. The size was reminiscent of the Titanic, and has the design like a cargo ship with blue and white stripes. There were multiple areas for maintenance and the mass crowd waiting for transport to the planet Solace. We then turn to the TD group, sitting around the docks. Most of them are already sleeping, as it's already midnight. Some were still awake, wondering what to do.

"So, let's run that by again. We just go with the plan to go to Solace, and whatever compensation we get, we can try and use it to survive. Is that it?" Gwen asks.

"Yes. We can maybe split up to find more places to stay." Cameron states.

"How about for jobs? We are going to do this in the long run, right?" Duncan asks.

"Well, that would be a problem." Courtney says. "We can worry about that later. Let's just try and go through the customs."

"And maybe then we can truly rest up." Mike says. "This day has been terribly exhausting."

"Okay, tomorrow, we will explain the plan to the group, right?" Zoey asks.

"Yeah, we should at least give some sense of stability." Heather states.

"Okay, now that we finally have a plane, we should get some rest." Courtney states.

"Good, maybe then I have a chance to think about my powers." Gwen states. "Maybe I can give it some importance."

"Okay, I'll go check with the other 1st generation campers. Maybe they need cheering up." Owen states.

"I'll come with you buddy." Noah states. "I'm still not yet tired, so I need something to do."

"Okay, good night." Gwen states as she lies down on the floor.

We then cut to the Sisters lying down with the group. Kitty has already fallen into deep sleep, but Emma was still up, unable to sleep due to the incident that had happened.

"Could that be? No, this can't really be happening. It can't be me." Emma states.

Emma holds up her arm and snaps her fingers. This causes an electric spark, which startled her.

"Ah shit!" Emma jumped a bit in surprise. "Oh no." She gasped a bit.

This commotion woke up Kitty, and she was slightly confused.

"Emma? Why are you still up? It's already past midnight." Kitty asks, slightly dazed.

"Um…" Emma bit her lip, knowing she would cause her sister worry if she told her.

"And what's gotten you so jumpy?" Kitty asks.

"Well… I thought I heard something. Nothing to worry about, just go back to sleep." Emma says, trying to calm down.

"You've been acting erratic since the jet ride." Kitty states.

Emma gulped a bit, knowing that she's onto her.

"Eh, I'll find out tomorrow." Kitty says before dropping back to sleep.

"Oh crud, what am I supposed to do?" Emma asks as she sits down.

As Emma places her hand on the floor, a spark emitted from it, creeping across the floor before reaching…

"Ah!" Josee jumped up from sleep in pain. "Gah! Something stung me!"

"Heh, must be karma biting you in the butt. Quite literally." MacArthur laughed.

As Josee tackles MacArthur and they both go into a fight, Emma looks silently. After looking at her hand again, she quickly lies down and goes to sleep, not wanting to be involved in the fight.

Okay then, chapter 3 done. As I've said, this chapter focuses on the characters' reactions to the situation. Some hopeful, some falling to sadness, new matters have been brought up. With the future of the group unclear, how the leading group's plans will unfold and Emma having a crisis with newfound abilities, uncertainties fill the air. The next chapter, the group will finally go to the planet Solace. One can imagine what will happen with the group's very uncertain Second Chances.

Dame Da Ne
