Going to the park, Sarah brought a book, and her ear buds with her. Deciding to sit on the swings as she read a new book. Once she got there, she found herself a swing, and headed over to it. Sitting down, she started moving a bit as she started reading the new book.
It was a bright and beautiful day. It was a weekend, so she didn't have to babysit till tonight if her dad and Karen had a date night planned out for tonight. She would find out later. So, right now, she was just enjoying the peaceful day.
Sarah's going to need another paying job soon. She wanted her own money. She liked having her own money when she worked at the fair. She wanted to save up for things she wanted for her own. But that meant that she gets another job. Something that she can juggle with school and other activities in her teen life.
Closing her book with a deep sighed, she couldn't focus on the book in her hands. She was busy thinking things over. But then she stopped and smiled. She was having normal teenage girl problems.
No Goblin King problems!
The shit that Karen gave her has helped her so much with the nightmares.
Sarah put her book away in the bag she brought with her here to the park and headed around the park. She saw that they were going to have the Carnival soon. She was excited and couldn't wait. She loved the carnival.
Maybe she could go ahead and see if her friends want to order unlimited passes for the carnival? She smiled and texted everyone, even taking a picture and sending it to them. Hoping that they all can go when it arrives.
Sarah started walking back home. She listened to music as she walked. She started singing along to a song called I Wanna Be Like You by Bear Ghosts. She had a little extra pep in her step as she went on her way.
She looked up and saw a bird. An owl. It was him.
She stopped walking, even took one of her ear buds out, her eyes widening seeing him there watching her. She knew it was him, cause a wild owl wouldn't be this close willingly. She took a step back. The owl tilted his head at her.
She gulped and put the ear bud back in and crossed the street. Luckily there was an ice cream shop there, so she could pretend that she wanted ice cream, not scared of the owl in front of her before.
She got herself a cone of chocolate peanut butter ice cream with sprinkles. She got a application, and paid before going out of the store. Walking on that side of the road, she saw the owl was gone, but was on her side now.
It really was HIM, and he was following her. It was obvious. She wasn't having him in her dreams anymore, so he is probably angry. She would need to look up things about having to keep Fae's away. That's what he was right? A Fae?
Sarah got home safely and headed to her room after washing her hands of the chocolate from her hands. She went to her desk and started her computer to look things up on google and such.
She was definingly need a job if she wanted to get things to protect herself.
Jareth had been trying to get to Sarah in any way shape or form. But he hasn't been able to. Whatever was stopping him from getting to her dreams, is keeping him from getting to close into the real world.
He thinks he knows what was given to her, and by who. He just had to wait for it to ware off and stop them from giving it to her again. He was going to have Sarah, and no one can stop him no matter what they try to do.
He will murder ANYONE who tries to stop their future life together. By now he didn't want to harm family, but if they didn't let fate happen, then he will retaliate. All for the love of His Sarah.
