Izuku POV: Saika and I went home in silence, and Kacchan was already waiting for us at the table.
"What took so long?!" He yelled, with Saika unfazed as always.
"Izuku was just helping a visitor with directions. But now we can eat." she answered, sitting down.
After saying thank you we started eating. Tonight we were having my favorite and I love how Kacchan made it. If he didn't want to be a hero so much he could definitely become a chef. When we were almost finished Saika spoke up.
"About the UA entrance exams. I've got you guys all signed up. They'll be around the end of the school year."
"Okay, thank you so much." I responded, but Kacchan only nodded.
"Which means you both need to really focus on training and grades. While this exam will mostly be about your skills concerning your quirks, they will be looking at your grades as well." she said, finishing her food.
"And you're going to start joining us?" Kacchan asked.
"I'll observe, but the only time I'll actually train with you is the day before." I sighed inside from that.
She got up and started on the dishes, with Kacchan and I following her. The rule about the dishes is that everyone took care of their own. After cleaning up I went to my room. It was covered in All Might merchandise and I headed to my desk. Saika must have cleaned up my notebooks because the desk was nowhere this clean.
I pulled out my most recent one from my backpack and started writing some stuff down. I still can't believe that All Might has a secret like that. But he's still really awesome of course. I guess I just need to keep an open mind.
Finally after studying for a bit I went to bed.
The day of our exams was tomorrow and we were down in the training arena. Kacchan was waiting impatiently, and I was stretching some more. Saika was going to test us today and she was late. That was usual for her, being the one who was always early.
"Why is she late?!" Kacchan suddenly screamed.
"I-I don't know." I answered, but he didn't hear me.
"I'm going to find her! Stay here!" He yelled, and started walking towards the door.
He just hit the button right when I was about to say something. The doors opened and Saika was standing right there. We all just stood there for a few moments then,
"What the heck!" Kacchan yelled, jumping back.
She stepped out and said, "Were you about to go look for me?"
"Yes! You were taking so long!" He yelled at her.
But she just patted him and the head and said, "Sorry, something unexpected happened at work."
He was caught off guard and she walked away from him.
"Can we get started?" I asked, rubbing the back of my head.
"Of course." she answered, with Kacchan joining us.
We prepared ourselves. Saika told a long time ago that her quirk allows her to use the air around her to increase all of her natural abilities, but she was also very well trained in martial arts. Making her the perfect person to train us.
Kacchan launched himself first and used an explosion next to her head. But she backed up in time and grabbed his arm. Throwing him aside, and I pulled myself towards her at the same time. I punched her in the shoulder, but that barely didn't anything. Kacchan launched himself again and she tried to use me as a shield. However, he grabbed my shoulders and kicked her in the head.
She loses her grip and Kacchan pulls me out of the way. He tries an explosion on her again, but she already regains her balance and jumps to the side. I use my quirk to hold back her arms, which works. Kacchan prepares another explosion and goes in for an attack. But she falls back into me and kicks away Kacchan's aim. Which makes the explosion hit the wall.
She grabs my arms and throws me to Kacchan. He catches me, but she kicks me in the stomach and knocks us both into the wall. She came an inch away from my face with a punch.
She chuckled and backed off. Letting us fall to the floor.
"You both are getting stronger." she said, helping me up.
Kacchan jumped up and said, "As if. You wiped the floor with us!" I couldn't tell if he was angry or not.
She laughed and said, "But you use more of a strategy than just your quirk. And Izuku, you are starting to think more in the moment. You both are more than ready for your test tomorrow."
Yes. If Saika can say that after fighting us then it must be true.
Saika POV: They both looked excited as we went back upstairs, though Katsuki tried to hide it. It's good, they need the energy for tomorrow. It will be a big day. Especially now there won't be any trouble.
*Flashback to earlier that day*
In a back alley around fifteen villains were gathered, and all of them were ready to jump at each other. But they were waiting as patiently as they were capable.
"Well, are we ready?" the first villain asked, leaning against.
"Does it matter? We're going to get those heroes and wannabes when that stupid starts." another villain responded, sitting on the ground.
"Do you want to go?!" The first villain yelled, charging up his quirk.
The second one stood up, quirk ready, and they were about to start fighting when a hooded figure walked into the alley. Causing everyone to go silent.
"Hey, get out of here." A third villain snapped, glaring at them.
They laughed deeply and said, "Nah. I think I'll stay."
That statement grabbed everyone's attention. And got them all angry.
"You think we're some kind of joke?!" the villain yelled, getting right up in their face.
"Well, a little bit. Since you're all planning to attack the UA entrance exam tomorrow." that made the villain shiver.
"How do you know that?" the first villain asked, now scared and trying to back away.
However, they grabbed his arm and gave them a deadly glare, "You should have just stayed home instead."
Two police officers, responding to several complaints about consistent loud noises, only to find the villains all unconscious on the ground. They began to cuff them and called for back up.
Saika sat above them, sitting up on the roof, and watched all of this. She checked her phone for the time once they were almost finished.
I'm going to be late for training. Katsuki is probably going to freak out about it. Oh well, better late than never.
She stood up and walked after.
