he wanted to tell her he was sorry but he was happy with her. she was so beautiful and cute. he was a father now and it made him feel so special. he began humming at her and rocked her in his arms. slowly the princess her eyes closed and all he could hear was her soft breathing and her little heart thumping.

he should place her in her crib. yet he didn't want to let her go just yet. he simply sat down in a big armchair in her room holding her close. he looked out the window seeing the red sky.

hearing screams seeing fire here and there and he even saw blood flying and death bodies. little wars and such. he took a look again at his daughter. "alright i am sorry to bring you into this world. but you'll be safe here with me and your mother i swear it. no harm will come to you."

he waved with his hand and let her curtains close. "ill keep you from the ugliness of this world as long as i can dear one." he got up and placed her in her crib gently kissing top of her head he left the room closing the door a little. "dabbles." he called again for his servant.

"yes your highness." lucifer gave his orders. "you can give out the news that princess charlotte is born today. and will be my official heir the the throne of hell. as with her birth i enact a new rule in the palace. all curtains must stay closed at all times for as long as i deem necessary.''

The imp looked as if he didn't understand it. "excuse me sire did you say all curtains to stay closed even during day time ?."

"like it even matters you hardly see the difference here between day or night. but do as i say i am king my will is law." he let out a growl. "yes your highness understood your highness." and the imp ran off scared. lucifer then went to check on his wife she was sound asleep.

he smiled he had two important loved ones now. he soon joined his wife in bed she woke a little.

"our daughter ?" she asked. "safe and sound in her little crib. oh and i made a new rule in the palace."

lilith was now more awake wondering what kind of a new rule her husband has made.

"what is it."

"i am keeping all the curtains closed for the time being." lilith found it a bit weird.

"but ….why ?"

"my beloved wife i cannot let our precious daughter see all the slaughter and horrors of this world. i wanna keep her from that as long as i can." lilith thought for a moment.

"i dont really think sheltering our child is such a good idea….but i do understand your concerned for her well being ….and so am i..so for now ill go along with it. but luci if i see it affects our daughter the wrong way. i might break that rule." lucifer could help but smirk at that last bit she said. "oh luci" she kissed him deeply. and he kissed her back. he tried fighting for dominance but that was impossible. his wife was the dominant one in the bedroom. but honestly he didn't mind it one bit.
