THE TRUTH BEHIND THE CURTAINS
charlotte was running around the palace even though she wasnt suppose to. she was eight years old now. and right now she was trying to shake of her guard dogs.
for her it was nothing more then a fun game. but for the hell hounds it meant life or death. lucifer would kill them if they lost charlotte even though she couldn't get outside the palace the doors were always locked ever since she could walk. but still the hounds were concerned today was extermination day. they really had to keep her safe today. her father was with the over lords at this moment and her mother was trying to do some paperwork. to lighten the work on her husband. "where did she go she ran in this hallway didn't she."
"she cant be far. the doors are all locked and she has no keys. lets not panick just yet."
charlotte stopped running she had done it she had lost her guards "hehe yes finally some freedom." she skipped trough the hallways. then stopped and looked over to the big long and dark curtains. for as long as she could remember she always saw those curtains but never what was behind it. she remembered her father telling her she should never ever look behind the curtains. she wasn't really the one to disobey her father she loved her father. but she did go and ask her mother if maybe she could give her permission to look behind the curtain her mother had simply shook her head no. saying "your father has his reasons to forbid you for looking there sweetheart and as long as it doesn't hurt you in any way i wont go against your fathers wishes." it was all big grown up talk to her wich she did not yet understand.
she had just given a pout at it and didn't bring it up again. she even one time asked why she could never go outside the palace. again they both told her it was for her safety.
they did explain she was a princess the one and only child of the king and queen of hell.
and that they had enemies that could try and hurt her.
charlotte couldn't really stop herself as she walked closer to the curtain. her father wasn't even inside the palace now and her mother was working in the study. her guard dogs weren't there either. whenever would she get a chance like this again. she had made up her mind. it was now or never. she gripped the side of the curtain with her tiny hand and moved it aside. illuminating the hallway with the red light of the red sky of hell's pride ring.
at first charlotte was at awe at what she saw. but that quickly changed when she saw something truly terrifying. and it only went worse. as the being she saw had ripped apart a body blood spilling everywhere. the being that did it saw the little girl looking and grinned at her wickedly. ripping apart the body more and more.
charlotte was shivering and frozen in place. after what seemed like forever. she screamed at the top of her lungs the whole palace was filled with her screams.
lilith shot up from her chair hearing her daughter scream. "oh no no charlotte CHARLOTTE."
charlotte was grabbed away from the window as the curtain fell back in place.
somebody holded charlotte close. as she was still screaming and even began to kick she though the monster had grabbed her
"charlotte"
