Crash Into Me- Chapter 25
Thank you guys for your patience with this update. I am graduating in the next few days so updates will be more frequent I promise.
Dark Alana: Yes hell hath no fury like a woman scorn.
TeamEveryoneButEdward: After this chapter I feel Jax will definitely have someone watch over Brea and Mya.
Angelicedg: Will Brea get caught up in the cross fire of Tina Lin's revenge…hmmm…this is Sons of Anarchy…and we know no one is safe!
HGRHfan35: I see this a lot in books I read and shows I watch women always go after the other woman. Remember when Tara wailed on Colette? That scene was hilarious.
Running-Wild22: Tina and her daughter are definitely on another level right now with the stalking. We shall see what happens.
LunaEvanna Longbottom: Yep Tina is bitter alright…
India: Tina is mad at Dana not Brea. She just mistaken Brea for Dana in the grocery store.
NatalieLynn: Stay tune….
Otte1978: Tina and Jasmine are certifiable! I'm glad you like the story. Hope you enjoy this chapter.
Brea was a nervous wreck as she tried to prepare dinner for her brother and his wife. Why did she tell him to come over tonight? She should have done this on a day she was off. Jessica tried to help her but she did not want Jessica to push it since she just got out of the hospital.
"I'm not an invalid!" Jessica snapped at Brea.
"Alright….alright. You can set the table with dishes I put out." Brea told her. Jessica rolled her eyes as Brea was still handling her with kid gloves. Anyone could set a table….hell Abel and Mya could do it. Brea stepped outside to check on Jax and the steaks.
"Will they be done soon?" she asked anxiously.
"Babe….you can't rush perfection." He told her. Happy chuckled at his response. Brea sucked her teeth and sulked back into the house. She grabbed a big bowl of salad and rolls and sat them on the table.
"Thanks Jess for helping." She told her cousin who had just finished setting the table.
"No problem. I think I am going to head home tomorrow." Jessica told her cousin as they walked back into the kitchen.
"No…..why? You just got here. What about Happy?"
Jessica smiled at the thought of Happy.
"He's going to come visit and vice versa. I have to get back to my shop. The guys can only last so long without me. Plus you know I have that event with Kat Von D coming to the shop. It is going to be a busy next few weeks."
Brea pulled Jessica into a hug.
"I love you." Brea told her planting a kiss on her cheek.
"I love you too cuz. You need to come and get Jax's name tattooed on you." She said teasing her. Brea rolled her eyes.
"Oh my God Jess! That will be the day!" Brea laughed as the doorbell rang.
"They're here." Jessica gushed with excitement. She could not wait to see the mystery brother.
"Auntie? Can I open the door?" Mya asked running into the kitchen.
"No baby girl. Not tonight. Maybe another time." Brea told her niece. After the incident in the grocery store, which she needed to tell Jax about, she could never be too careful when it came to Mya. Mya pouted and went back into the living room with Abel.
Justin and Idalia smiled at Brea when she opened the door and handed her a bottle of wine as she let them in the house. .
"I just can't believe we are family!" Idalia pulled Brea into a tight hug.
"I know! The world is indeed small."
Brea ushered them to the living room.
"Well hi Mya!" Idalia squatted down ready to pull Mya into a hug.
"Ms. Idalia!" Mya yelled as she ran up to the woman with open arms.
"My have you grown since the last time I saw you." Idalia giggled embracing Mya. "Who's your friend?"
"This is Abel." Abel looked up from the Disney movie him and Mya were watching.
"Hi Abel. My name is Idalia and this is Justin."
"Hi." Abel said shyly before returning his attention back to the movie.
Justin and Idalia sat down on the couch as Justin surveyed the living room and what else he could view of the house to see how an outlaw lived. He could not believe he was in the house of one of The Sons of Anarchy.
"Hello." Jessica walked into the living room.
"Justin. Idalia this is my cousin Jessica. I guess she is your cousin too Justin." Justin and Idalia stood up as they both shook Jessica's hand before sitting back down on the couch.
"Jax said the steaks are almost done." Jessica told Brea as she sat on the loveseat across from Justin and Idalia and proceeded to study Justin. She could see the resemblance in features he had with the family. She could see how he could pass for Latino but he definitely had black features. Justin wasted no time in asking Brea questions just as soon as she sat next to him on the couch. He asked a lot about their mom and asked about his other siblings. She told him about Dana and her two brothers who lived on the East coast. Justin was excited to have siblings, as it had been lonely growing up as an only child. He could not wait to meet all of them. Just when he was about to ask why she was living with a Son, Jax walked into the living room. Brea did introductions and Jax shook Justin's hand and hugged Idalia. Brea saw Idalia blush a little as she gazed upon Jax.
"Foods ready." He told Brea as he smiled down at Idalia working his charm.
As they ate, Justin tried hard not to stare at Jax and Happy. Happy looked so menacing but here he sat munching on a steak right across from Justin. How did his sister end up here?
"How did you guys meet?" Justin asked Jax. Jax smiled as he thought of the first moment he laid eyes on Brea. He relayed the story to Justin and Idalia and watch their faces light up with amazement as they could tell by the story it was by pure chance or fate that brought them together.
"Mya and Brea are one of the best things in my life." He told Justin and Idalia as his gaze met Brea and then Mya. Brea was smiling ear to ear. She loved hearing him say that.
After dinner, Jax and Happy talked Justin in to hang out with them in the back yard and have a few stiff drinks while Idalia helped Jessica and Brea clean up.
"Just like men to leave the women to clean up." Jessica pouted.
"It's alright…..I want Jax and Justin to get to know each other." Brea told Jess as she loaded the dishwasher with more dishes.
"Ummm hmmm…you see that Ms. Idalia her nose is wide open." Jessica laughed.
"He is rather handsome and charming." Idalia smiled as she thought of how it was a struggle at dinner to keep her eyes off Jax. Idalia felt so bad looking at her friend's man like that but she just could not help herself.
"I can see that it worries you that your sister is with me." Jax started as he poured Justin another shot. "You have nothing to worry about. I treat her like the queen she is and I care for her and Mya a lot."
"That's good to know." Justin took his shot. "Idalia and I have always been fond of Brea and I was elated to find out that we are brother and sister so as I am sure you can imagine I would be very upset of anything happens to her or Mya." Justin sat down his shot glass and grimaced a little as the warm liquid traveled down to his stomach.
Jax looked over at Happy as he thought of Mya's kidnapping. "Not on my watch." He vowed.
Idalia took the keys from Justin as he stumbled behind her out the door. Jax and Happy had got the doctor wasted. Jax hoped he didn't have to work tomorrow.
"We had a nice time! Call me later!" Idalia called back as she loaded her drunk husband in the car.
"I will!" Brea called out to her from the front door. She smiled and waved to her brother as Idalia pulled off.
"Well I can say that was a success." Jax pulled Brea into his arms as soon as she had shut the front door.
"I could not have done it without you." Her eyes sparkled as they looked up at her man.
"What about me hookah!" Jessica chimed in as she and Happy started out the door.
"You too…where are yall going?" Brea asked.
"Out…don't wait up." Jessica answered.
"Happy you still got your key?" Jax asked. Happy lifted up his key ring.
"Right here boss." He confirmed shaking the keys.
"Alright kids you guys try to behave yourself." Jax advised.
"Ha! Look at us….do we really look like the type to behave ourselves?" Jessica laughed as she pointed to her and Happy's tattoos.
"You have a point." Brea agreed as she watch them head out the door.
"The kids are knocked out. Looks like it's me and you babe." Jax grabbed Brea's hand and pulled her to the bedroom.
Dana looked at her sister standing at the stove trying to decide how she would ask the question she wanted to ask. She frowned a little and took the plunge. "Brea do you mind if Mya could spend the night with me tomorrow night?"
Brea stopped stirring her chicken gumbo, turned around from the stove, and looked at her sister.
"Isn't Henry staying with you?" Brea asked her sister as she turned around and cut the heat down on the pot.
"I asked him to go stay in a hotel if you let Mya come over." Dana held her breath hoping her sister would say yes. Brea instinctively wanted to say no as Mya hardly was ever away from her but Dana was her mother.
"I don't see a problem as long as Henry is nowhere near her."
"I promise he won't be." Dana assured her.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Jax asked as he pulled Brea closer to him.
"She is her mom and she has been clean for some time now." Brea snuggled her nose in Jax's neck sniffing his clean-showered scent.
"I don't think it is a good idea. Especially after the grocery store incident." Jax warned.
"I think she will be alright. It's just for one night." Brea whispered as she planted light kisses on his neck and smiled when she felt him shudder with desire.
"I still don't like it." Jax whispered as the familiar ache below began to fog his brain.
"Duly noted." Brea whispered in his neck as she climbed on top of him.
"Ok her clothes and pajamas are in this bag. I also have a bag with her favorite snacks. What do you plan on cooking tonight?" Brea asked as she sat the bags down on the couch and watch Dana plant kisses all over Mya's face.
"I was thinking chicken strips, mac and cheese with green beans." Dana looked up to her sister for approval.
"Sounds good." Brea approved. "She needs to be in bed by 8:00 tonight or you will have one cranky child on your hands. Also Happy will stop by later to check on her. It's not that I don't trust you it's just we had a strange incident at the grocery store the other day."
"What happen?" Dana asked looking at Brea and then Mya with concern.
"I think Lin's wife had followed us one day."
"What?!"
"I'm not sure but I think it may have been her so as you can imagine we want to keep Mya safe."
"Of course. I will talk to Henry tomorrow and see what's going on. We will be fine. I will drop her off tomorrow about 2 o'clock. You are still off tomorrow?"
"Yes. I will be home. Mya come give me a hug." Brea motioned to Mya. Mya threw herself in her auntie arms.
"I love you." Mya smiled as she gave her auntie a tight hug and kiss.
"I love you too baby girl. Now be good for your mom."
"I will."
Mya and her mom was having a wonderful day as they made cupcakes together and watched the movie Frozen two times in a row. Dana hugged her daughter tighter and kissed her forehead as the credits rolled on the movie for a second time.
"You want to watch Maleficent while mommy cooks dinner?" she asked as she got up from the couch to put the movie in. Mya shook her head yes as she was excited to watch another Disney movie. After pressing play Dana looked at her phone when she heard the text notification. It was Henry texting her for the umpteen time. He was acting very needy all of a sudden and it was annoying Dana. She could not be there for him all the time, as she needed to build a relationship with her daughter. The doorbell rung jarring Dana from her thoughts. Dana sighed with frustration at the disturbance and looked through the peephole. A little Asian girl holding a book bag stood on the other side of the door. Was she lost? Dana thought as she open the door.
"Can I help you?"
"Yes you can." Henry's wife appeared behind her daughter. She had stepped to the side where Dana could not have seen her through the peephole.
"What do you want?" Dana said in an exasperated sigh. She did not need this shit today. Dana glanced over at the empty hatbox that sat on the small table by the door. She had removed and put up her gun just before Mya showed up. She wished she had it close by.
"I just want to talk." Tina reassured Dana. Dana stepped out and shut the door so Mya could not see or hear them.
"Lift up your arms." Dana instructed. Tina sighed as she did as she was told.
"I'm not carrying." She told Dana as she begun to frisk her and Jasmine. Dana opened the child's book bag and checked for any weapons. She just saw books, snacks and a Gatorade bottle.
"If I speak to you Tina you have to promise not to bother me anymore."
"I promise."
Dana slowly open her door to let them in. She had a gut feeling she should not deal with Tina at all but Dana was sick of her constantly stalking her and it seems her daughter too so she needed to answer any questions and convince her to leave her alone.
"5 minutes." Dana stated as she ushered Tina to the kitchen table. Tina eyed Mya as she walked past the living room.
"Can I sit with Mya and watch a movie?" Jasmine asked hopefully.
"That's fine." Dana told the little girl before she hopped into the living room. Mya looked up from her movie and smile when she saw Jasmine familiar face.
"Hi! Remember me?" Jasmine asked the little girl. Mya eyes lit up and she shook her head yes.
"Tina didn't you kick Henry out? Why are you here?" Dana asked as she sat at the table across from Tina. Tina had her dark hair pulled back in a tight bun. She was a beautiful woman Dana thought as she looked at Tina's features. However, Henry was not in love with her anymore.
"I want to know how you can sleep at night knowing you broke up a marriage of twenty years."
Dana crossed her arms and sat back in the chair eyeing Tina.
"I sleep just fine. If it makes you feel better, I did not know Henry was married when we first got together. He hid that little fact for a year and about the time I found out, I was pregnant. You have to understand I was a junkie at the time." Dana tried to explain.
"It doesn't explain why you continued to see him after you found out." Tina's face slowly started to turn red. Dana shrugged her shoulders at the question. She didn't really have an answer to the question that would not bring more pain to Tina.
"I guess because he was taking care of me and I fell in love with him." She confessed as she watch Tina cringed when Dana said she loved her husband.
"You want to try some of my juice Mya?" Jasmine asked as she pulled out the Gatorade bottle.
"Sure." Mya grabbed the bottle and took a sip. It was sweet but tasted a little funny.
"It taste funny." Mya grimace as she handed the bottle to Jasmine.
Jasmine chuckled as she took a little sip.
"It's good….drink more….it will make you strong like me." Jasmine urged handing the bottle back to Mya. Mya did want to be strong so she drunk more of the juice.
"I want my husband back. You have to let him go."
"Tina I know you know he does not love you anymore."
Tina shook her head in denial.
"He still loves his family and I need you to let him be with his family."
"He is with his family…..you had your chance with him Tina. You are the one who needs to let him go."
As Mya drunk the last of the juice her and Jasmine heard shouting coming from the kitchen. Mya tried to get up to check on her mom when the room started to spin and she had to sit back down. Jasmine looked down at the little girl with a wicked smile. Her spiked juice should permanently move the little snot out of her life. Even though she wanted nothing to do with her dad there was no way this little girl would have him. Jasmine looked up from Mya as Dana and Tina walked into the living room shouting at each other. Tina was so mad that she started to curse Dana out in Chinese.
"Speak English bitch!" Dana shouted above Tina's explicit words.
"Mom let's go!" Jasmine grabbed her mom's arm to pull her out the door.
"Don't come back here again!" Dana shouted to Tina and Jasmine as they rushed to their car. Dana seethed as she slammed the door shut.
"Mommy." Dana heard her daughter's soft voice call her.
"Mommy's here." She called to her as she walked to the living room and found Mya lethargic on the couch.
"I don't feel good." Mya groaned just before she threw up all over herself and passed out.
M/N: Dana….Dana….come on did Brea not warn you about Henry's wife? I could punch Dana right now for being so naïve. Letting them in the house put her daughter at risk. How will Brea, Happy and Jax handle this?
