"So we are going to know our future. Sounds amazing" said Padmé as she looked at the theatre where all the said people were assembled.
Everyone had settled down in the theatre and we're waiting for those Holovids to play.
Padmé instinctively clutched her stomach which was growing big with everyday passing. Sometimes she felt like there wasn't just one child but more than that.
She discreetly held the hand of her secret husband, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker.
"Assembled everyone has. Begin the Holovids shall we?" asked Master Yoda to which everyone nodded.
"Yeah, I am quite inquisitive to know about the future myself" said Master Mace Windu as he took out the first holovid which had written on it " A New Hope for the Galaxy."
He played the first holovid and the screen lit up.
A long time ago in, a galaxy far far away...
"I thought it was about the future" said Anakin and everyone else agreed with him.
"I agree, Skyguy" said Ashoka Tano who was sitting next to Captain Rex.
"If we continue watching it we can come to know what exactly it is all about" said Master Plo Kaan.
A vast sea of stars serves as the backdrop for the main title. War drums and numerous instruments echo through the heavens as a rollup slowly crawls into infinity.
The sudden loud music makes everyone jump in surprise with Rex almost choking on his drink which he was drinking. Ashoka patted his back while trying to hold back her laughter.
It is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire.
"What?? Galactic Empire?? Rebels?" Yelled Anakin in surprise over what he has just witnessed. The other Jedi present shared his sentiment so did the others present in the room.
"Did we lose the war?" asked Shaak Ti as she was clearly taken aback about what had happened to her republic.
"To find the answers, watch these we must" said Master Yoda calmly while even though he too was conflicted.
"Maybe they won and changed the name of the republic to empire" suggested Master Mundi while scratching his chin in a suggestive manner while still trying to come on terms with everything.
The rest of the audience nodded and continued watching the holovid hoping to get to answers soon.
During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the Death Star, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.
Silence. Tense silence. It reigned the theatre as the audience tried to digest the information they just received.
Death Star?
A weapon powerful enough to destroy a planet?
Impossible?
"A weapon which can destroy a whole planet? We have to do something about this." said Mace Windu and the others nodded at his words.
"But how could something like this be made?" asked Ashoka Tano in confusion. She was still trying to digest everything.
"Maybe the separatists were working on it for quiet a long time.." suggested Padmé who had been quiet all this while.
"I agree with Senator, Tano. Dooku and other separatist leaders are quiet crafty. But if they were working on it how come we didn't had any idea about this?" a confused Masted Windu said.
Anakin had been quiet all this time contemplating on all the information. He felt like it was his fault all his fault.
Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Princess Leia races home aboard her starship, custodian of the stolen plans that can save her people and restore freedom to the galaxy...
"Princess? Is she from Larasia, Aldeeran or Naboo?" said Obi Wan Kenobi with raised eyebrows as he looked at his former apprentice in question.
"How would I know that, dear old master" quipped Anakin not wanting to let go of a single chance to make fun or joke with his master.
Obi Wan rolled his eyes and looked at the screen for answers to his questions.
The yellow planet of Tatooine emerged from a total eclipse, her two moons glowing against the darkness.
A Rebel Blockade Runner firing blaster bolts from the back of the ship, races through space. It is pursed by a huge Imperial Star Destroyer. Several laserbolts were firee from the Imperial Star Destroyer, causing the main solar fin of the Rebel craft to disintegrate.
Inside the ship, the walls shook as several explosions went off from the damage. Soldiers in uniform rushed to their battle stations in a bid to hold off the advancing invaders for as long as they could.
"They shut down the main reactor, we'll be destroyed for sure." A gold human shaped droid spoke in panic as its companion, a diminutive white, and blue droid beeped in response.
"Hey, hey what the hell are Artoo and Threepio doing there?" yelled Anakin as he witnessed the sudden appearance of his two precious droids
"I agree with you, Knight Skywalker. What the hell are those two droids doing there because they mostly go where you go?" asked Padmé as she was surprised by the presence of two droids on a space ship.
Does that mean Anakin is leading the rebellion?
"Maybe Anakin is a rebel leader?" suggested Master Kit Fisto. His suggestion was taken into consideration regarding the presence of two droids on Tatooine.
"This is madness. We're all doomed… there'll be no escape for the princess this time." Threepio said, receiving several beeps in protest from Artoo.
The tension mounted inside as the soldiers took cover wherever they could, waiting for the inevitable breach. The sound of clamps locking the ship into place echoed through the ship and the safeties came off. Finally, the moment they'd been dreading arrived. Sparks showered off the door as the breaching charge went off and blew it apart, allowing laser fire to pour through the gap as Imperial troopers clad in white armor, rushed in to take the ship.
"Are those clone troopers?" asked Captain Rex as he looked in astonishment.
"By the force, what have I done?" Shaak Ti said as her eyes widen in surprise wondering where had she gone wrong with those clones. She was there incharge.
"It can't possibly be your work, Master" said Master Kit trying to reassure his fellow Jedi.
"They might have been produced by the new government?" said Master Sassesse Tim while looking at rest of the Jedi to which they agreed upon.
"Or they might have turned against the Jedi?" suggested Master Windu bringing to the light another possibility.
"No offense to you Captain" he added while looking at Rex.
"None taken, General"
Unwilling to go down without a fight, the rebels returned fire, shooting and killing as many boarders as they could before the sheer numbers overwhelmed them. Smoke and venting coolant clouded the room as the corpses of the fallen were trampled underfoot and the rebels retreated deeper into the ship.
Once the entryway had been secured and the rebels pushed deeper into the ship, a man in dark armour stepped aboard. Heavy mechanical breathing emanated from him, increasing the aura of dread he put off. Stopping only to inspect the fallen form of one of the rebels, he pushed onwards in search of the princess who had the audacity to steal from the Empire.
Coldness. A chill passed down everyone's spine as they looked at the black clad individual who was the one leading the storm troopers. That individual was clearly not a good news.
"Whoever this man is he is clearly not good news...He isn't there just to show off his armour" said Master Mindu while feeling a sense of dread and a bit surprised when he heard his mechanical breathing.
Two people in the room had a feeling that they knew who this individual was.
Anakin felt like he knew this man and a connection was there between them which he absolutely hated. He didn't wanted to be associated with this men. But deep down his heart it felt like he was the reason for this man to be there.
Obi Wan Kenobi felt like he knew who he was and he was the one who was responsible for the making of this man.
Rest of the audience just stayed quiet trying to digest everything.
