Crash Into Me-Chapter 32

"Is everything alright?" Jessica asked Jax as he paced back and forth in the waiting room. Jax told Jessica and Happy what had transpired earlier.

"Jax you didn't." Happy said in disbelief.

"It was an accident." He defended. "I would never intentionally hurt Brea. I love her. You guys know that."

"Come on Jax! Accident or not you know better than to lay your hands on a woman especially the one you love." Jessica looked at Jax disgusted. One thing she could not stand was someone who hits a woman. That was one of the many reasons she loved Happy no matter how bad their fights got he always removed himself from the situation even though he could have easily slit her throat.

Jax sat on the waiting room chairs, defeated. Happy got up, sat beside him and gave Jax a much needed hug.

"You guys love one another. You can come back from this." Happy assured Jax.

"I see the head. Brea keep pushing." The doctor instructed. Brea felt tears form in her eyes, as she felt guilty for telling Jax to leave. She could not have his baby without him by her side. Despite his flaws, he truly loved her and she could not deny him the experience of seeing his child born.

"I want Jax!" she cried.

"Sweetheart make up your mind." Gemma said frustrated.

"I want him." Brea sniffed.

"Alright I will go get him." Gemma rushed out the room to get Jax and a few seconds later, he was by her bedside holding her hand.

"I'm sorry Jax." Tears flowed down Brea's face.

"I'm the one sorry love." Jax pushed hair that was sticking to Brea's sweaty face back out of her face, leaned over, and kissed her. Brea gritted her teeth and pushed again as she held back a scream. Jax winced in pain from how tight she was gripping his hand. After a few more pushes his son slid into the world.

"Tristan!" Brea gasped when the doctor laid their son on her stomach.

"Babe really? Tristian?" he asked through his son's loud cries.

Brea smiled up at Jax as Jax rubbed his son's soft jet-black hair.

"How about Christopher Tristian Teller?"

"That sounds perfect."

"Jax come cut the cord." The doctor told him. Jax grabbed the scissors with a permanent grin plastered on his face.

"Abel this is your brother and Mya this is your cousin Christopher." Jessica told Mya and Abel as she ushered them up to Brea holding Christopher in the hospital bed. Mya and Abel both stood on their own chair as they gazed down at the new addition in the family.

"Why is he so tiny?" Abel wondered.

"Why is he so white looking?" Mya asked with a tiny frown on her cute little face. Jax chuckled as he hopped the kids down off the chairs and had them sit down.

"He is tiny Abel because he just came out of Breanna's tummy. He is brand new to the world. Mya, darling he is pale because he is half-white as you are half-Chinese. He may get brown skin like yours one day." Jax told both kids before planting kisses on their foreheads.

'Happy would you like to hold him?" Brea offered. Everyone that was there had their chance to hold baby Chris except Happy who was sweating bullets as Jessica took the baby from Brea and put him in Happy's arms before he could protest. Everyone took pictures with their cell, as they had to capture the memorable moment.

Aunt Pam had showed up later that day and refused to hold the baby. She just mumbled about history repeating itself. Brea shook her head and wondered why she even showed up if she was disapproving of Brea's relationship. Justin visited to spend time with his little nephew. He was excited about the new addition to his newfound family. Brea was exhausted by the end of the day as she and Jax had nonstop visitors. Henry Lin even sent a big gift basket.

Jax disappeared a few times for club related business but Brea did not get too upset as she did not want to ruin the day with her attitude. Happy took the kids home and the two grandmothers went home to make sure that Brea had everything she needed for her and the baby when she got home. It was finally quiet. Brea held Christopher as he breastfed and looked over at Jax who was fast asleep on the cot next to her. God did she love that man! She just wished he would open up to her and everything would be perfect.

'Hey Christopher." Brea cooed as Christopher grabbed her index finger with his little fingers looking up at his mom with hazel eyes. He was perfect.

"Mommy and Daddy loves you." She whispered pushing his thick, jet-black curly hair off his forehead. Christopher yawned in response and clamped back down on Brea's nipple. She chuckled as her heart swelled with love for her son.

"Babe….me and the baby will sleep in Mya's room and Mya and Abel can sleep with you."

"Why?" Jax asked as he wiped Chris's bottom to clean him for diaper change.

"He has been fussy lately and has been keeping us both up. One of us needs to get some sleep." She explained.

"No, he is fine." Jax leaned over and kissed Chris's cheeks. He did not mind that he and Brea had to get up at night with the baby. To be honest he liked to watch Brea nurse his son. She was to attach to pump milk so he could not relieve her from time to time and feed Christopher himself so he just made sure she had everything she needed when they had to get up every two to three hours. He enjoyed spending time with Brea and his kids. The club took on handling the business to give him a couple of weeks with his family. They only called him when it was absolutely necessary. As Jax finish changing his son's diaper, he looked over at Brea who looked like she was in a daze. He knew being a new mom took a lot out of her.

"You alright babe?" he asked picking up his youngest son and sitting next to her on the bed. Brea snapped out of her trance, looked over at Jax, and smiled a winning smile.

"I'm great." She said before leaning over and giving him a peck on the lips. "I will start dinner. Do you mind watching him a little longer?"

"You know I don't mind."

Brea leaned over, kissed her son's rosy cheeks, and walked to the kitchen to find Gemma getting ready to start dinner.

"Gemma you don't have too. I was going to make dinner tonight." Brea told her.

I got it sweetheart. Why don't you use the breast pump I brought and pump some milk. Jax and I would like to feed Christopher."

"I know. I will pump some later and you can feed him tomorrow." Brea sighed sitting at the kitchen table.

Gemma stopped fiddling around the kitchen and looked at Brea.

"Are you alright honey?"

"Yeah I'm fine." Brea frown a little. Why was everyone asking her that?

"You seem sad." Gemma walked up to Brea and caressed her cheek. "Do you have the baby blues?"

"No I'm fine. Just a little tired." Brea didn't feel she had post-partum depression. She just got extremely exhausted and overwhelmed at times but she would not go as far as to say she had the baby blues.

"That's another great reason you need to store milk so you can rest and let someone else help with the baby." Gemma advised.

Brea nodded and looked out back when she heard Mya and Abel laughing. Brea smiled as she saw Happy pushing them both on the swing set.

"Is Jess here?"

"Yeah she is out back with Happy and the kids." Gemma answered as she filled a pot up with water to cook noodles. Brea was about to head out the sliding back doors when a loud popping sound filled the kitchen and just as Brea realized it was automatic gunshots, she felt a bullet whiz pass her head and shatter the glass sliding door. Brea shrieked as her and Gemma dropped to the floor.

Jax? Her baby? Mya? Abel? Why was this happening again?

After a few more seconds, Brea heard tires screech off and the gunfire stopped. She quickly looked outside and saw Happy had Abel and Mya under him on the ground. Brea took off running to the back room. God please let Jax and Christopher be ok. Please God!

"Brea!" she heard Jax yell as he ran out the bedroom holding Christopher. They met in the hall.

"Is he ok?" Brea shrieked as she grab her crying son.

"He is fine. Are you? The kids? Mom?"

Brea shook her head yes.

"Jax? The baby?" they heard Gemma yell from the kitchen.

"We are fine mom." Jax called to her. "You alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine…..shit!" Gemma gasped.

Brea and Jax looked at one another. That didn't sound good. They both rushed to the kitchen.
