"Skywalker would you mind explaining yourself?" Mace Windu yelled at the said man as it was revealed that those two children were his.
Anakin was sweating bullets when he heard the Koruan master's s question.
'This is it. My secret is going to be revealed' Anakin thought to himself.
"I don't think we should be discussing this right now, Master" Master Plo Kaan stated while looking at both Anakin and Mace. He was shocked too as he learned that the young Jedi Knight has broken the Jedi code.
"No, Master Plo. It has to be discussed right now. It is very important" Mace said while looking at the Jedi Matser and then shifted his attention to Anakin.
"I don't think so, Master. We have a lot of pressing matters to discuss which are clearly more important than the fact that Anakin Skywalker has broken the Jedi Code" Luminara said flatly. Her eyes wandering to Anakin and Mace.
"But still he has broken Jedi code-" Mace started to speak but he was cut off by Master Mundi.
"From what we all could gather, old friend. This is future we don't know what happened to Anakin and convicting or interrogating Anakin about something which hasn't been done yet. I find it rather unfair. So I urge you to settle down on your seat." Master Mundi said in a urging tone. Anakin looked at the old master, and smiled in gratitude.
"I agree with Master Mundi. We have no idea as to what happened in future and we need to stay calm. So I would expect you to not interrogate my former student, on this matter" said Obi Wan. Anakin smiled at his master for saving him once again infront of the council and said "Thank you"
Mace was about to retire when the heard a voice "Silence, watch the future we must not to argue about it. Peacefully settle down all of you"
Obi Wan had known that Anakin and Padmé liked each other and know he was sure that Anakin has a relationship or will have a relationship with Padme in future. Anakin will or have broken the Jedi code which means that he might be thrown out of the order. That thought alone sent shivers down his spine. Anakin was his brother, he had practically raised him. Thinking of a life without him will be difficult.
But he was happy too as he had witnessed two adventurous, youthful and innocent children on screen who were his brother's children that's when a thought occurred in his mind, if Anakin hadn't broken the Jedi code then these children would not be there. Maybe whatever happened was for the best.
Anakin looked around and smiled at everyone who spoke on his behalf today.
Padme heaved a sigh of relief when Mace finally stopped interrogating.
Mace resumed the holovid and they watched the future.
"I wish we had known him." Luke said in a saddened tone. Jelena sighed.
"Maybe we could know more about him through Ben in that way we can know him without even meeting him" Jelena said with a sad smile. She looked over to Ben or Obi Wan who nodded in approval as he himself wanted to tell the children more about their father.
All the the doubts regarding Anakin vanished in air as they all came to know that Luke and Jelena hadn't even know their father personally.
"Does it mean that Skyguy is dead?" Ashoka whispered in a low tone. She knew the truth but wasn't able to except it.
"What did he look like, Ben?" Jelena asked curiously.
"From where should I start?" Obi Wan smiled at the two people in front of him.
"His eyes?" Luke asked. Obi Wan smiled at them.
"You both have your father's eyes, his blond hair, his skin colour and same jawline as him." Obi Wan said and he ruffled Jelena's hair a little. He smiled sadly.
Obi Wan's heart sank hearing the words of his future self. He was sure that Anakin wasn't around in future because the way the kids were asking about what did their father look like just confirmed that he wasn't around anymore. That smile of his future self conveyed a lot of emotions to him.
Anakin felt the somber feelings of his master though their force bond.
"He was a very handsome lad" Obi Wan told them with smile.
"So you finally consider me, handsome master?" Anakin teasingly said to his master trying lift his mood.
"Yeah, in ascending order of handsomeness in which we put the least handsome person on top and the most one down. So yes, you are on top of handsomeness in ascending order" Obi Wan said with a straight face. He had realised that Anakin was trying to lift his mood.
Anakin's smile flattered hearing his master's words. He came up with a reply.
"Speaks the one who looks like a hermit in future" Anakinretorted.
"He was the best starpilot in the Galaxy"
Everyone present in the room agreed with Obi Wan's words about him. Saesse Tin agreed with Obi Wan's words as he knew that Anakin was a very good pilot better than him and everyone else.
Anakin smiled at his master as he heard the praises from his master.
"And a cunning warrior"
Everyone bowed their heads in respect of the fallen Jeid Knight.
"I guess, you have become a good pilot yourself. Luke" Obi Wan said while looking at the young boy who was busy in fixing Threepio.
"And he was a good friend"
A tear dropped from the eye of Obi Wan as he heard the last part. A good friend. A good brother.
He wondered how difficult it was for him to deal with Anakin's loss. The boy he had practically raised. Whom he had taught.
Padme resisted the urge to cry hearing about Anakin's passing. What would have happened that their children didn't even knew their parents.
"Which reminds me, I have something here for both of you." He stood up and walked over to a chest on the wall. "Your father wanted you to have this when you were old enough, but your uncle would never allow it." he rummaged through the chest and pulled out a short metal tube. The twins looked at the short metal tube with curiosity.
"My lightsaber" Anakin said loudly upon seeing his lightsaber in possession of Obi Wan.
"He was afraid you might follow Old Obi-Wan on some damn fool idealistic crusade like your father did."
"Obi Wan, you don't need to have Owen's permission to teach my children about lightsaber and force" Anakin said upon learning that Owen didn't allow his children to know the ways of Jedi and Force.
For him, Obi Wan was his brother and Luke and Jelena's uncle which makes him their uncle and he has rights to teach them.
"Sir, if you'll not be needing me, I'll close down for a while." Threepio said to Luke. When he given him the go ahead, he leaned forward, his eyes stopped glowing and he simply sat there like a statue.
"What is it?" Luke asked, taking the proffered tube. It was heavier than he'd expected, and assumed there were some internal workings to it.
"Your father's lightsaber. This is the weapon of a Jedi Knight." Obi-Wan. Luke pressed a button on the side and a two and a half foot beam of light burst from the tip. It hummed with every movement he made.
Luke's eyes widened when he saw the weapon. "Woah!" was all he could manage as his mind swarmed with too many questions to keep track of.
Jelena simply looked at the lightsaber with curious eyes.
"This belongs to you, Luke and as for you Jelena I have something else" Obi Wan said as he looked at the young girl who was looking at her father's lightsaber with curiosity shining in her eyes.
Jelena looked at the old man with lips parted in surprise wondering what does he have for her.
"Seen the Jedi they have not?" Yoda said
"I don't want my kids to fight for my lightsaber. Master, you better have something for my daughter which doesn't causes a rift between them" Anakin said while looking at his master who simply sighed in response.
"Anakin, this is future we don't know what does Master Obi Wan has for Jelena" Luminara said and Obi Wan gave her a grateful look.
Obi Wan pulled out another short metal tube from the chest.
He came back and put in the hands of Jelena and said "This lightsaber it belonged to My master, Qui Gon Jinn, which was weilded by me for a short period of time after his death and for a while by your father when he was training under me, as my apprentice. This lightsaber it belonged to you now. My master would have wanted you to have this and so do I and your father."
"Wow" she breathed out.
"Wow, Gigi this is so good"
Jelena pressed a button on the side and two and a half foot beam green in colour burst from the tip.
"You gave her Master Qui Gon Jinn's lightsaber? From what I remember it was kept in the Jedi Temple? You gave it to an untrained girl?" Mace Windu asked flatly. Surprised at the fact that the former master's lightsaber was given to an untrained girl.
"Yes, my future self gave it to Jelena because I guess it's because after me and Anakin if someone deserved it or had a right to own it woul have been Jelena or Luke" Obi Wan said.
"Not as random or clumsy as blaster. An elegant weapon, for a more civilized age. For over a thousand generations the Jedi were protectors of peace and justice in the Old Republic." He sat back down before a grim tone overtook him.
"Before the dark times. Before the Empire."
"Let's hear the truth now" Shaak Ti said.
Luke and Jelena deactivated their lightsabers , amazed by the weapon and it's technology. Then, a question entered both of their minds and they asked Obi Wan in unison "How did our father die?" They both sat down besides him.
Obi-Wan took a breath before answering. "A young Jedi by the name of Darth Vader- who was a pupil of mine until he turned to evil- helped the Empire hunt down and destroy the Jedi Knights. He betrayed and murdered your father."
Everyone looked at each other in surprise when they learned that someone had the power to kill, the chosen one, Anakin Skywalker. Obi Wan was shocked when he learned that someone whom he taught in future has apparently killed Anakin.
"Master Obi Wan's apprentice?" Shaak Ti whispered in a low voice.
"He killed, General Skywalker" Rex said in a horrified tone upon learning the death of his general who was more of a friend to him.
"How could this be possible?" Ashoka Tano said with horror.
"If Vader was a Jedi, then how come we never came to know about him?" Master Mundi pointed out which was meet with a silence from everyone present.
"Could it be one of the younglings? Who was taken by Master Kenobi as his apprentice in near future?" Kit Fisto pointed out a poss
"Now the Jedi are all but extinct"
"WHAT?" Yelled all the Jedi upon learning about their horrifying future.
Jedi. A institution wihich stood for over a millenia was overthrown by this Darth Vader.
"How could this be possible?" Master Windu said with wide eyes.
"I wonder how powerful this Vader is as he killed all the Jedi apart from Master Obi Wan as for now" Depa said after recovering from the shock.
"Vader was seduced by the dark side of the force" Obi Wan said.
"The force?" Luke asked with confusion.
"I have heard of the it somewhere" Jelena whispered.
"Where?" Luke asked her with surprise.
"Just somewhere I don't remember" Jelena shrugged and looked at Obi Wan who was looking at the twins.
"What is the force, Ben?" Jelena asked him.
Obi Wan smiled as he was happy to move away from the topic. "The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together."
"A very good way to describe the force, master Kenobi" Mace Windu praised the Jedi Master.
"I agree, a astute answer it is" Yoda agreed.
"I wonder where did my daughter heard about force?"Anakin said and wondered where did Jelena came to know about this.
Aroo whistled, interrupting the conversation. "Now, my little friend, let's see if we can't figure out what you are and where you come from."
"I saw a part of a message he was carrying- " Luke said.
"Well he was going to see the whole message if Artoo hadn't shooed him away." Jelena said with a smirk.
"This droid is also the reason why we ended up in this desert and in the almost captivity of Tusken Raiders"
"I seem to have found it." Obi-Wan said. Sure enough, Luke turned around and saw the same holo-message from before being projected in front of Obi-Wan.
"General Kenobi," The image of Princess Leia said with a bow, "Years ago, you served my father in the Clone Wars. Now he begs you to aid him in his struggle against the Empire. I regret I am unable to bring you this message in person, but my ship had fallen under attack and I'm afraid my mission to bring you to Alderaan has failed. I have placed information vital to the survival of the rebellion into the memory systems of this R2 unit. My father will know how to retrieve it. You must see this droid safely delivered to him on Alderaan. This is our most desperate hour. Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope." The image faded away and Obi-Wan sat back, deep in thought. He looked at Luke and Jelena.
"Time for some adventure" Anakin quipped.
"For you everything is an adventure" Obi Wan said with a sigh.
"You both should come with me" Obi Wan told them with a smile.
"You both have force too, you should learn the wyas of it" Obi Wan looked at both of them.
"You must learn the ways of the Force, if you're to come with me to Alderaan." He said with a small smile.
"Alderran?" "I don't think we can come with you" Luke and Jelena said at the same time.
"They are very young for this, master" Anakin told his master.
"I agree with, Knight Skywalker. The kids are very young, they should stay on Tatooine" Padme said in a flat tone. She didn't wanted her children to leave a safe place like Tatooine which is a place away from the empire and will protect them from Vader.
She was a mother. For a mother, her children's safety is all that matter.

Jelena hears the voice of Qui Gon and the reason why she is hearing his voice and also knows him will be revealed in the next chapter. Jelena is going to have different powers too which will be one of the reason for me adding her.
