Author's Note - So I have decided to go with the second plot.

In which Jelena is a Jedi and Force sensitive. There is no Seidhr or any magical powers.

"We can't come with you,Ben. We gotta go home. Aunt Beru must be freaking out" Jelena said as she realised that it's been hours since they left their home.

"I need your help, she needs your help" Obi Wan pleaded "I am getting too old for this sort of thing"

"Thanks for stating the obvious, Future Master" Anakin said and a few chuckles erupted in the room.

Luke and Jelena knew he was right but his ingrained sense of duty was overriding everything else ""I can't get involved. I've got work to do. It's not that I like the Empire, I hate it, but there's nothing I can do about it right now. Besides, it's such a long way from here."

"That's your uncle talking" Obi Wan said matter of factly.

"We can have permission from Uncle Owen to come with you" Jelena said.

"I don't think Owen will allow them to go with Master Kenobi" Shaak Ti said.

"My uncle. Man,how am I gonna explain this to him?" Luke said.

"Learn about the force, Luke and Gigi?" Obi Wan pressed. Luke simply looked away.

"I don't know whether we can, Ben" Jelena said fidgeting with her fingers nervously.

Luke sighed, considering his reasonable options, the ones that both duty and his conscious allowed.

"Look, I can take you as far as Anchorhead. You can get a transport there to Mos Eisley or wherever you're going."

"You must do what you think is right, of course."

"Well, let's hope that Master Kenobi is able to help the princess" Ashoka Tano said.

In the void of space, an Imperial Star destroyer made its way to a massive grey orb, covered in trenches and metal plates, with a large circular indentation in the upper half. It revealed to be the Empire's infamous superweapon, the Death Star.

The audience present in the room felt shivers down their spine at seeing the monstrosity that the Empire created, having known that this thing was capable of destroying any planet.

"I can't believe the separatists were hiding this all the time" Master Mundi said in a grave tone.

"I think we should postpone all our plans so that we are able to stop the extinction of Jedi and the fall of republic" Mace Windu said as an afterthought.

Within it, a group of men sat in a guarded meeting room. Most of them were old and grey, while a few others were several years younger. They were all of them clearly military and the middle of a heated discussion.

"Until this battle station is fully operational, we are vulnerable." Commander Cassio Tagge professed. "The Rebel Alliance is too well-equipped. They're more dangerous than you realize."

One of his colleagues smiled, apparently finding his concern amusing. "Dangerous toyourstarfleet, commander. Not to this battle station." Commander Motti said smugly.

"His arrogance will be the reason for his downfall" Captain Rex said.

Tagge inhaled, trying to control his temper. "The Rebellion will continue to gain support in the Imperial Senate, until- "

"The Imperial Senate will no longer be of any concern to us." a voice belonging to Wilhuff Tarkin walked into the room, followed closely by Darth Vader.

"Tarkin" growled Obi Wan as he saw the man on screen. He has never trusted him and now knowing that Tarkin has allied himself with Sith has fuelled his dislike towards him.

"that traitor" growled Anakin and Mace Windu there feelings mutual for Tarkin.

Tarkin took a seat in the only open spot at the table. "I have just received word that the Emperor has dissolved the Senate permanently. The last vestiges of the Old Republic have been swept away."

Everyone was stunned at hearing this. How could the Jedi have failed in their roles as protectors of peace and justice? They would have to watch more of this to see the truth.

"That's impossible." Tagge said in disbelief, "How will the Emperor maintain control without the bureaucracy?"

"The regional governors now have direct control over their territories." He explained, looking at each man in turn, "Fearwill keep the local systems in line. Fear of this battle station."

"His arrogance has become worse" Anakin called out.

"He is forgetting that Trade Federation and Separatists thought the same. But we all know how it turned for them" Shaak Ti stated

"And what of the Rebellion?" Tagge asked.

"If the rebels have obtained a complete technical read-out of this station, it is possible- however unlikely- that they might find a weakness, and exploit it."

"Careful mind, he has.", Yoda complimented the officer.

Tarkin took his concerns more seriously than the other officer, or at least appeared to. Thankfully for him, Vader stepped in.

"The plans you are referring to will soon be back in our hands." he assured them.

"Any attack made by the rebels against this station would be a useless gesture, no matter what technical data they've obtained!" Motti said, losing his patience with this pointless conversation about an impossible scenario. "This station is now the ultimate power in the universe. I suggest we use it."

"Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed." Vader said, turning to face the man. "The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force."

"This can happen?" Caleb asked.

"Yes, it can" Yoda said.

"Darth Nilius literally ate planet life using the force" Mundi stated which sent a shiver down the spine of Caleb, Ashoka and Rex as they heard that.

"Don't try to frighten us with your sorcerer's ways, Lord Vader." Motti looked up at him with a sneer.

"Your sad devotion to that ancient religion has not help you conjour up the stolen data tapes, or given you clairvoyance enough to find the rebel's hidden fort- " he suddenly cut off and began to choke. Vader stood beside him, holding up a hand and pinching the air with his thumb and first two fingers.

"Whoa that's very powerful" Caleb stated. Even though he was quite disturbed by the power displayed.

He leaned into him. "I find your lack of faith disturbing."

"Strong in him, the Dark Side is.", Yoda said in a grave tone.

"Enough of this!" Tarkin ordered, "Vader, release him!"

"As you wish." As he walked off, Motti fell forward on the table and gasped for air, his body greedily taking in the life-sustaining gas.

"This bickering is pointless." he stared at everyone, daring them to challenge him.

"Now, Lord Vader will provide us with the location of the rebel fortress by the time this station is operational. We will then crush the Rebellion with one swift stroke."

"The princess is with them" Ashoka said.

"I am scared for her" Padme said in concern.

"She is strong, Senator Amidala" Anakin said but internally he felt a very strong connection with the princess just like a connection with Jelena.

Back on Tattooine, Obi-Wan, Luke, Jelena and the droids beheld nothing short of a slaughter. The bodies of the creatures who found Artoo and Threepio were scattered about the ground, which was burned and scarred. Craters dotted the earth and chucks of metal were strewn about. Luke,Jelena and Obi-Wan walked among the bodies, trying to determine the cause, while Threepio and Artoo stayed off to the side.

"It looks like the Sand People, alright." Jelena said,

"Look, there's ghaffi sticks, bantha tracks. I've just never heard of them hitting something this big before." Luke said as he jammed the stick he was holding into the ground.

"They didn't." Ben said, "But we were meant to think they did. These track are side-by-side. Sand People always travel single file to hide their numbers."

"These are the same Jawas that sold us Artoo and Threepio." Luke said.

Ben took his shoulder, and pointed at the sand crawler. "And these blast points, far too accurate for Sand People. Only Imperial stormtroopers are so precise."

"But why would Imperial troops want to slaughter Jawas?" Luke looked up at Threepio and Artoo, standing near his speeder, and the pieces started to fit.

"If they traced them here, They may have learned who they sold them to and that would lead them back… home." Luke and Jelena took of for his speeder before Ben could stop them.

"Wait, Luke!Gigi! It's too dangerous!", Ben warned them as Luke and Jelena jumped in and took off at full throttle.

"What has happened?" Anakin said in horror hoping for the safety of Owen and Beru.

"I hope Uncle and Aunt are alright" Jelena muttered hoping for the safety their family.

"They will be okay, Gigi" Luke said in a comforting voice.

He blazed over the desert, making a beeline for home. He slowed as they approached their home, his stomach dropping when he saw the smoke rising from within.

"Uncle Owen! Aunt Beru!" he called, hoping against hope that they yet still lived. They fell silent at the site of the charred corpses at the entrance, one male and one female.

A tear fell down one cheek as reality sunk in.

"Uncle Owen,Aunt Beru" Jelena cried as she looked at her house and her uncle dn aunt's dead bodies. They were the only thing close to family and parents she and Luke ever had.

She cried loudly. Her cries of despair were heard to Kenobi who was at a distance along with the two droids.

Luke wrapped his arms around his sister and cried along with her. Both of them mourning for their loss.

Everyone remained silent. No one spoke a word feeling emotional and bad for Luke and Jelena who lost the only family they ever had. They had no idea about their parents and now the only family of theirs was taken away from them.

The cries of Luke and Jelena were enough to make some of the viewers moist eyed.

Anakin wasn't close to Owen or Beru, but they had raised his children and he is grateful to them for that as they took care for them when he or Padme weren't able to. He promised to himself he won't let anything happen to them.

Padmé's eyes became moist as she heard the cries of her children.

"Gigi" Luke called and went towards her. His voice hoarse.

Jelena looked at Luke and threw her arms around him. She engulfed him in a loose embrace and cried "Luke, we lost them"

"They are gone, Gigi" Luke cried and engulfed her in a bone crushing hug. Not wanting to let go of the only family he was left with.

Everyone just stayed quiet. Not wanting to speak a word about anything that has transpired.

The twins cried in each other's embrace till no more tears came out of their eyes. They remained in the same embrace.

Luke patted Jelena's head till her sobs died and placed a kiss on top of her head.

Anakin smiled as he saw his son comforting his daughter.

"Gigi,we need to bury them. Give them a proper funeral" Luke said as she left the embrace.

"Yes, we need too." Jelena nodded. The remanents of her tears still fresh on her cheeks.

The twins buried their uncle and Aunt and said to them one final time " We love you and thankful for treating us as your own children-" Luke looked at Jelena who was struggling to hold back her tears.-" Me and Gigi we will never forget you. We hope to make you proud. Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru." Luke brushed his tears off.

"You will make them proud" Obi Wan said.

"They both are unable to control their emotions, at this point" Ashoka said as she sympathised with the twins.

"I wonder what will happen now. As Owen and Beru are dead" Caleb said.

Anakin promised himself that he won't let anything happen to Owen and Beru this time. They took care of Luke and Jelena when he or Padme couldn't for that he is forever indebted to them.

"Gigi, we have to go back. Ben is waiting for us."

"Are we leaving?" Jelena asked her brother. Her voice was hoarse.

"Yes, there is nothing left for us here" Luke said feeling emotional. He was once again reminded of Owen and Beru's death.

"What do they mean by they are leaving?" Ashoka asked.

"I guess they are going to Aldeeran along with Obi Wan" Anakin stated.

As they walked back to their speeder, they knew what they had to do next.

A trio of TIE Fighters flew a patrol pattern near the Death Star as it hung in space. Inside, a pair of guards led Vader down a hallway with doors on either side of them: a cellblock. One of the guards opened the door, revealing Leia sitting on the far end of the cell. Vader stepped inside.

"And now, your Highness, we will discuss the location of your hidden rebel base." He said, standing aside as a black floating orb entered the cell. It held a needle filled with a clear liquid and Leia shied away, knowing what was to come.

Fortunately, the door closed and a guard walking down the cellblock.

Everyone frowned at the Dark Lord's proposed discussion with the Princess, concerning the base. Needless to say, Anakin hated him even more.
