A reward for helping Loke, or rather Leo, out were tickets to Akane Resort, the whole package of hotel, casino, and beach and Team Natsu, along with Alex, soon headed off for a vacation as it had been a real mess of training, requests, and attempted guild wars.

They had fun on the beach, Alex taking a book to read with Freefall napping at his back, and enjoyed their time there before the afternoon started to wane in light and the Team headed off for the casino to continue the games and fun, Gray meeting up with Juvia who was 'interested' in joining Fairy Tail before things started to get a bit out of hand as Alex sensed them and nearly pulled out his Peacemaker when a voice spoke. "We are not here for trouble, Arcturus." Erza froze in hearing that voice and turned to find a large man, eyepatch over the right, his face behind a metal vice, and looking down on them by height.

"Simon..." Erza voiced as she carefully set her cards down. The man met her eyes and breathed as he spoke.

"Erza Scarlet... I realize that my being here would cause some discomfort, but I am here to deliver a small message from Jellal, had Sho, Millianna, or Wally found you, they would have delivered the message... and try to manhandle you back, they are like puppies in that regard." Erza hummed as she joined Alex in meeting the man as he spoke. "Like I said, we have not come for trouble, but we do require some aid in this... matter." Alex readied to fight with Freefall growling before he calmed down and relaxed his hand as he spoke.

"This isn't going to be a mess, will it, Simon Mikazuchi?" Alex voiced and Erza noticed the flinch of the last name to Simon before he hid it as he spoke.

"Jellal has asked for Erza and her friends to come to the Tower of Heaven, its halls are still filled with members of Zeref's cult and he can't eliminate them without risking us in the process." He stared back to Erza as he continued. "He had told us of what happened all those years ago, how he was seduced by the broken emotions of Ultear, imagining it to be a avatar of Zeref from the torture he suffered for rescuing you and how he, in that sicken state, turned into a heartless being and threatened our lives to keep you quiet, hiding the truth with a lie that you had betrayed us." Erza eased up as Simon bowed his head. "I realize that I am making excuses for him, but after... someone shattered the pained emotions from him, he broke down before us four and explained what he was doing for all these years..."

"Jellal... broke down...?" Erza voiced quietly as she glanced to the side, Alex glancing over to her with Freefall keeping an eye on Simon before the drake towered over the man and spoke.

"And if we had refused, would everyone in this casino be at risk of some threat, I don't wish to assume the worse of you, Simon, as you seem most honest and honored, but is there the risk?" Simon shook his head as he spoke.

"No, that would only make it much worse to getting aid in clearing out the tower, while it would be wise to cause a scene to alert all to the threat of the Tower, we are approaching this with a subtle hand first." Alex didn't want to chance it as he reached for his glove again, but his hand was halted by Erza, he glancing to her as she stepped forward in speaking.

"Team Natsu of Fairy Tail will be willing to help clear out the Tower, I do want to meet with Jellal to be sure of this change in his heart." Simon nodded and they relaxed in hearing that before a voice called out.

"Simon! There's trouble!" They quickly turned to Sho rushing over with panic on his features, panting as he got to them, Simon stepping over as he spoke.

"Sho, what is the matter?"

"I-It's bad... we were keeping a full sight on some of the members..." He breathed as he looked up for support. "Millianna just called from the Tower, they barely got a call off to the Oracion Seis before she caught them, and they're coming to the tower!" Ice surged through Alex's blood, just as well as Erza's and Simon's.

"Oh Magic..." He grimaced as he turned to Erza. "Get the Team together, Erza, I am heading for the Tower now!" Freefall screeched as Alex leapt onto the mount and Erza gave chase, succeeding in getting in front of them as she exclaimed with extending out her arms in blocking.

"Alex, you can't!" He locked eyes with her as she spoke. "This is not your battle to go gallivanting off to fight, this is just as important to me as anything else, now stand down." Alex leapt off the drake, fixing his eyes with her before he stepped over and grabbed her straps as he growled in pulling her close.

"Just as it is important and emotionally testing as it is for them, for both your friends, Jellal, and the Oracion Seis, I am intending to handle this right quick and put this mess behind us before we pull up any more dirt on the darkness made in the Tower of Heaven, this shouldn't bother you to finally end this chapter of your life and move on, Titania." Erza grabbed Alex's wrist and spoke back with an edge.

"This story ends with all of us, not just my own selfish desire, they get out as well, Alex, that means that you listen to me..." Sho hovered his hand over his cards while Simon towered with folded arms before Alex ripped his arm free and got back on Freefall.

"Fine, you want the team, okay... I'll wait for you to rally them for action..." Erza nodded before dashing back inside, Alex staring up to the fading light and tilted his head to the distance, if he looked closely, he could see the Tower emerging from the horizon. Soon, the party gathered with Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Erza, and the addition of Juvia joining to head out before Alex spoke. "We are fighting one of the Balam Alliance, one of three Dark Guilds that make up the top of threats among the Magical Fiore, six members with power on their side."

"You know a lot more than any of the Council, what are we going into?" Gray spoke with Natsu nodding as Alex adjusting up with resting a hand on Freefall's skull.

"Brain is the leader and he is the mentor of dark Jellal, the phase when Jellal was under the hostile emotions of a extended spell. He contains a second personality known as Zero and he is more hostile and only comes out when all of the other members have fallen and said their prayers of what their goals had been." Alex jumped off in continuing. "Midnight is the adopted son, but his magic is known as Reflector, he warps, distorts, and twists many things, including the air around him so that no material thing can harm him, his goal is to find somewhere to rest, to finally sleep as fear and terror filled him during his Tower life, his name Macbeth."

Erza gripped her fist tight as Alex spoke. "Next, we have the Second Generation Dragon Slayer of Poison, Cobra, his magic is Poison Dragon Slayer, but he has honed his hearing to even hear the thoughts of others. His name is Erik and his goal is to hear the voice of his companion serpent, Cubellios, his only constant within the dark hall." Alex surveyed the group in getting through the numbers. "Fourth, we have Angel, a vain and harsh seductress who views those summoned by Keys to be just tools for action, not to be acknowledged as people. Just so, she bears three of the Golden Zodiacs in The Ram, The Scorpion, and The Twins, she also has the Silver key of The Chisel." Lucy gripped her fists tight as she now knew who has Aries as Sho questioned.

"What's her wish?" Alex looked up and they followed his gaze to spot birds in flight before he spoke.

"To fly, to fade away into the sky as an angel as, for Sorano, it became the symbol for her to see and live by." He looked back to them in speaking. "Fifth is known as Hoteye, he can identify anyone at a distance via his Heaven's Eye magic and strike with Earth Magic, however despite how he acts, his goal has been one he held out for, for Richard himself to see his brother Wally once again." Erza flinched in surprise as she loosened her grip and spoke.

"Wally, but that's..." Alex nodded with understanding as he rolled his wrist and Erza flushed for interrupting there as Alex finished.

"The last is Racer, the 'fastest man alive', but this is a trick as he is only faster in a certain range, he uses a form of Time Magic to slow his foes down to make him seem faster, but it has the effect of making everything else look much faster than they are. His wish is to be the fastest as, all his life, Sawyer has been running and he held on to that, even when the Tower caught him and took him back every time." Alex pocketed his hands as he spoke. "What we are going to face is one of the best of the Dark Guilds throughout the country, but if we let them win, they will take the R-System for themselves, they will have a tower of uncharged Lacrima, just waiting for Etherion, the Council's greatest weapon, to hit that tower and absorb every ounce of power, charging it as intended."

"In short, Gray..." Alex voiced as he met their eyes and answered. "We are going into Hell, we are walking into the foundation of hundreds of thousands who have suffered in those walls, to prevent the main Dark Guild active from getting their hands on more power and the Council will play into their hands if left prompted, just as they were with Eisenwald." They nodded as Alex turned back in speaking. "By your command, Erza Belserion, we march for the Tower of Heaven." Erza didn't know what that last name meant, but it may be her former last name, a name she never knew about before, she would ask about it much later when this was over...

For now, she had friends to rescue as she raised a fist into the air. "We go... to stop Oracion Seis!"

"Yeah!" The party split and Natsu clearly didn't get sick with flying on Freefall, while the rest of them made for the Tower on boats, being moved faster with Juvia's Water Magic, as the tower loomed in its jagged form before them and brought them to a fight that could have ended badly if they were not careful...

They arrived and started to clean out the Tower before the Dark Guild made it, Jellal biting his lip in adding more pieces to the board, he was strong, he knew this, and trained to make sure he had a grip on it, but getting news from Millianna that the Oracion Seis were coming for the Tower, for him, he was worried that he had put Erza and her friends, his friends as well, at risk and he added the pieces to represent Brain, his invert of Zero, Hoteye, Racer, Angel, Cobra, and Midnight and gripped his hand in regret that, just when he was finally pulled out of the dark, he was being made to fall back into the horrors that he had inflicted on everyone.

What's more, Ultear was also panicked on the fact that now Oracion Seis was moving for the Tower when they had their neck deep in finding Nirvana, from her cover as spy within the Grimoire Heart Dark Guild. He opened his eyes again in making the first moves, just as the Guild arrived and he felt Brain moving toward him, already trying to hamstring him into serving the depth of human darkness.

The first battle was between Lucy Heartfilia and Sho against Angel and they would be hard-pressed to... his thoughts stopped as Angel's piece soared past his face and clacked against the floor, he blinking before getting up and picking it up, getting a view of the battle.

'Sho threw his cards against a countering Sho's while a laser fired at Lucy as she bolted for Angel, her words striking a cord in Lucy before she pulled out a Key, Angel nearly recalling Gemini, if the Sho doppelganger transformed into a pair of blue sprites was the Spirit, in countering the Key of Taurus before Lucy inserted it into her own body, and her attire changed with her whip coming free and grappling Angel around the waist to her surprise before she swung, Angel gaping at slamming to the wall with high power, before Lucy changed again, this time with a bow as she fired, pinning Angel to the wall and slapping her, lecturing her that she was just like someone like Karen, refusing to treat others as equals and only as tools, she ripping the Zodaics off and marched off into the Tower, Sho wiping his brow in surprise while Angel was stunned as Lucy also lectured on humility. Angels must first die to fly, but they too are prone to corruption, just like pride to be better than all others...'

The vision faded and Jellal was back in the throne, holding Sorano's piece before he turned back to the table and slowly sat down with the next battle to come.

This one was Hoteye versus Wally and Erza and... he breathed as he touched it to see the battle itself.

'Hoteye turned from Erza to look into the face of Wally and he stopped, his mouth trembling as he reached for Wally, the block gangster pausing as well before testing his brother's name and Richard acknowledged it as he wailed in joy in rushing over and hugging his brother in glee and happiness to see him again while Erza smiled at their bonding before waving them farewell, she had happened to reunite brothers for a better life...'

Jellal breathed easy before the next battle played for him, this one between Gray Fullbuster, Juvia Lockster, and Millianna against Racer.

'Millianna's strings tripped up Racer in him running into the net before Gray slammed his hands into the wet ground that Juvia doused and ice consumed the flooring as Racer landed, getting iced to his surprise before he ripped himself free and tried again with fighting the battle, knocking Millianna out with Natsu's partner Happy catching her before both Ice and Water Wizards worked once more to take down Racer, his speed barely coming down to the sheer cold that he suffered before he was caught in a water lock and he barely escaping it to get an arrow of ice to the chest, he barely even had time to turn himself into a suicide bomber before Juvia cut the vest right off and contained the explosion with her Water Body, she reforming a bit worse for wear, but she was clearly well enough to swoon and faint to Gray's touch and care...'

Three were down, three more to go as he turned to a real matter, Dragon Slayers against each other and he worried that Natsu would fail against Cobra, but he brought himself to see it with his hovering hand.

'Against Cobra and his partner, Natsu was no match, but even with getting burned with poisons, he still got up before he took in his surroundings and beamed, Cobra confused before Natsu tore out a bar from one of the cages and, using Dragon Force, he melted half of the metal to absorb the heat and spit a hail of metal at Cobra, the Poison Slayer disregarding the minor attack before sounds assault his ears to his pain as Natsu slammed the bar into the other bars, making an intense ring of sounds echo and deafen Cobra before Natsu struck, knocking out Erik and tying Cubellion up on one of the intact cages, a cheeky grin on his face as he patted Cobra's head with remarking to go again sometime and to come to Alex if he really wanted to hear his friend so badly, Erik shocked before black took his vision...'

Jellal turned to the second of last of the fights, Midnight and the pair of Simon, who had tried to stop Brain before dodging, and Erza who arrived to help in the fight.

'Erza's clothes bended tightly on her body before reverting before she flew into a fury with her naginata, somehow missing Midnight before he gaped to her palm strike sending him flying and into Simon's flurry of strikes, his punches dealing some good damage before Midnight finally turned Reflector the other way, preventing Simon from getting him with Darkness Magic in getting some distance, but it didn't save him from Erza who just as easily pierced the veil of illusions that Midnight attempted to cow the both of them into fear, but because of her eye that was replaced with a artificial one when she joined Fairy Tail, she couldn't be tricked with illusions. Simon opened his mouth to ask, to a flustered Erza just kissing him on the cheek and answering. (I can see you have feelings for me, but I can't just forget Jellal, he was my first and I hope that his heart has returned, after so long.) She headed off for the top and Simon nodded with musing. (Well played, Miss Scarlet... Well played...) He followed after propping Midnight, his head on a pillow of sakura petals...'

Jellal looked up to the approaching Brain, or rather the powerful Zero as he hurled the staff away with glee and spoke. "This game of cat and mouse has ended, Jellal, those fools thought they were more powerful to keep me contained, naïve and hopefully dead, they should be." Zero smiled as Jellal tensed for a fight as well, darkness welling from the sadistic man's body. "Now to destroy all of this and bring you under heel!"

Anymore was lost when a boot slammed into Zero's skull, smashing him into the Lacrima center as the landing was greeted with a brace of pistols as Alex spoke. "No can do, I have got some issues with you and I was hoping to bust Brain a bit for what he had done to Ultear, after all, he was the head of the Bureau of Magical Development, you know, the one where Ultear was experimented on for her massive wellspring of power." He dodged as Zero came for a fight and Alex fought back, using his pistols and his limbs to fight off the onslaught and decimate the magic coming for him as Jellal was left trying to puzzle it out.

'Did Brain defeat himself? That is the only way for Zero to be here as the Six Prayers are needed to unlocked Zero from Brain's body and with how fast the other members went down, he must have feared that he would not be able to get to me in time before Erza and the others made it to me, still this is not good...' Jellal looked to find that while Alex was blasting, Zero closed the gap and delivered a flurry of punches, spit flying from Alex's mouth from the beating before he was sent flying and Zero laughed as he fired off his final spell.

"Genesis Zero!" The rush from the Gate of Wraithwail was too much for Alex as he was drowned in the flood of darkness and Jellal grimaced at the death of one of Erza's friends as Zero smiled in turning to march for him. "Now then, it's time to break, Jellal." The fifth step and the reach of hand nearly had Jellal attempting to fight the battle himself before a voice rang out.

"Lost Gun Magic: Cailbur Rounds..." The darkness was shredded to pieces, to their surprise, as the room changed into a hot and arid world, Alex standing there with scratched clothes and skin, but in his hand was the mother of all Revolvers in hand as he breathed with a glint in his eye. "...High Noon..." Zero barely spoke, nor could move in surprise when Alex fanned the trigger in a second, all six rounds slamming into Zero's back in a hexagonal-pattern that lit up and burned, he screaming in pain as he was sent slamming into the opposite wall, his body reverting back to Brain, but with the pattern etched into his skin before it blacken and remained, Alex spun the Revolver and stashed it in a hip holster, the world returning as Alex rolled his shoulders. "You are done, you were not so lucky, boy..."

"What kind of Wizard did you say you were, exactly...?" Alex turned with a smile as he tilted his Stetson up to look Jellal in the eye.

"The bounty hunter kind, Jellal Fernandes, and we don't miss our shots when we want them to count."

Thankfully, Ultear had dispatched several units of Magic Knights to tear down the Tower, having taken a look and identified dormant Lacrima, waiting for a charge, rightly so as the main Council building in Era had suddenly had Etherion explode, the damage small, but it had the intended effect as the rest of the structure started to crumble to pieces and expose the Council as vulnerable, the only one knowing the truth between Siegrain and Jellal now, other with Ultear, was Yajima, but he respected why he was told at the end and not during, not when the Council pretended that they were secure in their power.

Still, Oracion Seis were not in the best of positions and they, at least all but Brain, realized that they had some serious atonement to undergo for going along with the scheme of seizing the Tower for their own desires. Jellal couldn't get them out as he needed to be on the down low and both train himself to better standards and to form a Guild to keep the number of Zeref cultists to a minimum if not down to zero itself.

Both he and Erza shared a glance and departed on uneasy terms before Sho, Wally, and Millianna left to travel the world for a bit while Simon decided that the best way to atone for his crimes was to do so in Fairy Tail, Natsu cheering for another member joining them as Erza cast her eye to Alex, her thoughts saying as much in asking about Simon and what else could be done before Alex signed off that he has a sister, she should be in Mermaid Heel, but it was not their place to put the two of them together too fast.

She nodded as they headed back, Freefall giving them a lift again back to the main land along with the boats that they brought to ferry them all back, even Jellal in a cloak to keep hidden for now...
