The return to Fairy tail was nice, especially with the introduction of Wendy and Carla to the ranks, Natsu smiling as well in motioning her over and chattering away, Happy falling for Carla hard while poor Gajeel was left inferior without a 'cat' of his own, Alex shaking his head as he snapped his fingers, Wendy blinking for a moment before she resumed with talking with Natsu, though she was a bit more in the mood for hugs, but Natsu didn't mind as he chuckled with rubbing her head in listening to her stories of Cait Shelter.
Alex picking up his mug of juice and paying Mirajane for the business before he spoke. "I am so sorry for Kenith, I didn't know he was riding off some grief about me, I am sorry if he shouted or yelled at you for it."
"Well... it did hurt..." Mirajane frowned a bit as she looked to the side. "I didn't need it thrown in my face, but the truth is that he got me thinking and making me realize that I have been punishing myself for too long, Lisanna would want me to use my power for a good cause, not bundle up behind a fake smile, we were thinking of... inviting you to joining us at her stone." Alex hummed before he spoke.
"Thanks, but I will pay my respects at her family house, you know, the one where she and Natsu were playing house at?" Mirajane gasped with a small laugh as Natsu felt a shudder down his spine for some reason as Alex hummed. "Thanks for the offer, but I would like to train up little Wendy a bit, she has potential."
"Can you help Elfman too, he has been trying to get a handle on Beast Form, but it has been taxing for him right now."
"I can handle that..." Mirajane smiled with serving drinks across the Guild and Alex drinking his juice with relief, Cait Shelter had some nice selection, but nothing beats some Fairy Tail juice, he liked the many flavors and tastes of them and they were decently worth it, Blue Pegasus had something called the 'Trimen Treats' that sold like hot cakes and they were often running out second run into five. Apparently, they were cheap, but tasted like heaven itself made it and sent it down, Alex rolling his eyes before the alert went out.
"Gildarts is coming back!" The guild rushed about as Alex took to the second floor to watch it all happen, the city shifting and changing to give a clear, straight path to the Strongest Wizard in Fairy Tail, the wielder of the Crush magic, Gildarts Clive, it was truly awe-inspiring to witness as a clear trail was made and lead him straight to the Guild, he watching as he strolled right up to the doors and entered, a burlap sack slung over his shoulder while his body was cloaked, hiding the damages that Acnologia had dealt to him. He glanced about a bit and commented on the new building before Natsu tried to pick a fight and got one-shot into the ceiling. There was quite the commotion with the big guy, one that Alex didn't mind too much with drinking his fill of orange, but still, it was only a matter of time before he got noticed and, as fun as that was, he didn't need more trouble.
"Welcome back, Gildarts, did you succeed?" Makarov asked and after a moment of pause, Gildarts answered.
"I didn't, I nearly had to give up the Quest myself, but I got some unexpected help." Alex hummed under the murmur of the voices as Makarov raised a brow to Gildarts on that.
"Oh? And what did this help look like, per chance?" Alex's eyes widened at the tone, he casting a glance to meet Makarov's eye and a smirk slipped across his mouth and Alex felt a tremor go down his back at the look, the old man was going to make his life miserable right now, he knew he should have played with the old man's whims, now he was getting back at him!
He glanced to Kenith and signed, he nodding in quickly grabbing a filled tankard and offering it to Makarov while Gildarts was thinking about it. "Here you go, sir, it is grand to see Gildarts in the flesh, I have heard a lot about him!"
"Oh, yes, it is!" Makarov beamed with taking the tankard and downing it with an ample 'ahh!'. "It is a nice day to see one of my children return indeed." The old Master knowingly beamed as he spoke. "But too little, too late, Kenith..." He paled and Alex paled as well as he carefully set the mug down and quietly headed for one of the windows for an escape route.
"He looked like a bounty hunter, just appeared out of nowhere on Mt. Zonia, before he reacted to Acnologia and blasted him." Alex carefully slipping out of the opened window he found, quietly landing as he crept a bit to keep on the down low. "He had on a cool hat, an overcoat, and fingerless gloves, he also had this slight blue motif and his eyes sparked a azure blue in reaction."
"I see..." Makarov answered with spotting the escaping youth as he spoke. "What say we put a bounty on that one, how much would you offer?" Gildarts shrugged as he spoke.
"I guess I am willing to bet fifty million on seeing or finding the guy, he had a blue Fairy Tail mark on his collarbone." All noise stopped and then the whiplash, Alex slowly looking to the interior, seeing blazing golden eyes, sweat pouring down his body before he faced forward and walked, trying to slow his heart rate before the skid of heels came and he glanced back once to see a pair of heels coming right for his face, the other side being a blonde Celestial Wizard who wore spats for today.
"RENT!" Alex dodged the dynamic entry and booked it as Gildarts unknowingly roused a storm into action. He leapt and dodged to the best of attacks, the S-Rank Wizard blinking to the emptied guild with only a few remaining.
"What just happened...?"
"That, my boy, is what happens when you bet on catching a shrewd individual, one that thought himself in the clear from his high-jinx." Gildarts blinked before he started to put the pieces together and his eyes widened as he exclaimed.
"That son of a Golem!" With that, Gildarts took off in pursuit, his power keeping itself contained from crushing everything in the chase for this being as Makarov chuckled.
"Cana, would you be a dear and KEEP Kenith here?"
"Yes, master!" Kenith nearly got out before he got carded, his eyes teary in failing his brother and now, he was being chased by several capable Wizards, it was good fortune that the Thunder Legion weren't currently in, they were just returning from the exchange with Laxus interested in seeing if his new serving skills could work or if he just didn't find as much fun as being at Blue Pegasus, that Ichiya character was weird, but the rest of it was decent and he was sure that he was getting eyed-up quite a bit...
Alex dodged another Water Lock spell and slipped into one of the alleyways, pulling down his hat for the effect and the rush went right past him, he holding his breath for a minute before he finally shifted his Stetson back up with his breath before he walked out, his image shadowed for a time as he cast his eyes to the sky, he felt it...
Anima...
The taking of Magnolia and Fairy Tail was soon and he wasn't even sure what would happen to him, he had a magical core, but would he be sucked up into a lacrima or would he be free like Wendy and Natsu? In retrospect, it could be possible, but what about Kenith, wouldn't he also be affected because Gajeel got the same treatment as everyone else and he's a Dragon Slayer.
He shook his head as the rain started to fall over the city, either it naturally coming to rain on them all or as a cover to allow Anima to take it all for Faust's sick game. Either way, he was going to another world, a world where the Exceeds came from, but where magic was dying out and all of the people there plead, beg for all of it to keep living their average lives, his steps not being chased by others as he looked up with the rain trailing his hat and going across his coat.
"Will I too be rendered powerless or will my skills beyond magic be more than enough, if we go, will Kenith's power be more than enough or will he too falter in the face of corrupt power...?" Alex sighed as the world started to shift, but he didn't fight it as he spoke with rolling his limbs. "Well, better strike a pose for the heck of it..." He assumed a combat stance of the Dragon Claw as the world faded to white, his senses fading out for the time...
All of the power, all of the magic, it was theirs, theirs as King Faust laughed with acquiring more Magic for Edolas, soon the magic will be released into the world and they can breathe easier before the next need, but that will not be needed for a while, the spot they stole from was rich with Magic and it beguiled them to take it over the pitiful Earthland, it has no need for all of that magic in the first place.
He waited for it all to come to the kingdom... he waited... and waited... and waited with his patience coming to a close as there was no news of new magic being teleported to them, but they were sure that what they robbed was quality.
Now where is it!? Faust paused in his anger as one of the captains arrived in report. "Your Majesty, we have succeed in teleporting the lacrima here, sir!"
"Where is it, it should have appeared before our great kingdom!"
"That's the thing... it did, but it's... see for yourself..." Faust followed the guard out and arrived to where most of his generals were gawking at something and he looked as well, his eyes widening in surprise as he could see the lacrima... in the far distance.
But it was embedded in the most terrifying statue of a powerful beast, it being quadruped with a lion's head, a serpent tail, and scaled wings and it was keeping the lacrima to itself as he growled. "I want that Lacrima brought here now, I don't care if you must use the Royal Army, get that Lacrima from that disgusting statue!"
"Sir!" Faust glared at the offending beast in the distance, not that it will matter, soon all of the Exceeds will join the Magic and Edolas will prosper under his rule, and only one pest will remain for total control...
That Dark Guild of Fairy Tail...
